*by the time Tilly exits the shop, even she can tell that Lilly's barely holding her composure* (I knew it was too good to be true...) *she thinks to herself, followed by an overly detailed weighing of her options*

*a little late, she notices Tilly come over around the same time June tries to console her. She forces another fake smile with a nod of acknowledgement but honestly, even she knows that her sister isn't buying it. She blurts out, reinforcing others' sentiments* I can't wait for the feast! *but the feigned enthusiasm behind her words are as hollow as her spirit*

We're right behind ya, matey! (Rich says as he and the other cursed mons follow.)

Foxfell

Yeah... (I say to Lilly, not catching on to her forced tone.)

(As we go on, after a few minutes I look over to June and see her looking elsewhere.) Uh, what's up, June?

I coulda sworn I just heard my cousin Lizzy... (June says.)

Your cousin Lizzy? (I ask.)

Yeah! Her real name's Liesl. She's a Ninetales...and an actress! (June tells me.)

(Once Dieter and a bunch of other Pokémon I don't recognize (expect for that singing Flygon from Gleamscape for some reason?) are in sight, June runs over to them.) Lizzy! Hey!

(Liesl looks up in confusion.) June?

Yeah! What are you doin' here with all of these guys? (She asks.)

Oh, madamme, we are heading toward Danjor Island...at least we were... (Sunny says.) We sunk our boat...

Oh, sorry about that... (June says.) Uh, hey! You should join us! C'mon! You hafta meet all my new friends, Lizzy!

(June begins dragging Liesl towards the rest of us. She gives a bemused look at Dieter and the others.)

Welp, let's catch up, mateys. (Rich says, running ahead to join us.)

(A moment later, they get in our sight.)

'Hoy there! Been a while since we meet ye all, eh? (Rich chuckles.)

"   Very well....   ", said L'Arachel, getting up from her seat and buzzing over near the center of the room, "   This simple magic will essentially be letting you use your own version of the move Teleport, although it's a bit more complicated than that....   "

The two passed the night away to learning the spells Phoebe desired.

Foxfell, Road to the Palace

[I clutch my stomach at the mention of a feast, a hungry feeling welling up at the back of my throat. I would really appreciate some food before I go out into the city again, even if it's all just gonna go to waste soon enough.]

"Hmm?" [More people coming up behind us? Wait, is that...] "Sunny?" [I crack a smile, waving at her and Maran.] "So, how's it goin'," [I say to the two of them, lightly insinuating a certain something. Doesn't really occur to me that either of them may not immediately recognize me.]

As the guards proceed to the palace, they notice the group ushered in by June, but decide to not do anything at the moment, at least until they arrive at the palace. They're approaching the structure quickly, though the route isn't the most direct, and the streets around them are just now starting to be lit up by candles or other flames left outside by citizens and the occasional paid lamp-lighter.

Once we arrive, there will be medics to take care of your wounds, and you'll be free to come to the feast. Well, those of you who participated in the past two days' encounters, at least.

Main group

Oh, going...fine...? (Sunny trails off, confused.)

It's Eliot, Sunny! Bzz! (Maran points out the shawl Eliot is (presumably) still wearing.)

Oh! (Sunny laughs.) I forgot you were a shapeshifter! My apologies! Yes, we are doing fine, besides losing our boat and having to come back here.

(Then Maran seems to realize what Eliot may have been implying. Cortez starts to snicker.) [—Keh-hehehehheh...!

Erm...bzzzzz...no, we haven't done anything like that just yet, if you're implying what I think you are... (Maran says, laughing a bit sheepishly.)

We kissed a lot, though, Maran. (Sunny says.)

Heh, yeah, bzz... (Maran buzzes.) Now we're just looking for some more supplies before we set off again...and I need a warm glass of water. I've been stuck in this form for the past several hours...bzzzZZzzz...

(Gosh it feels so good to be back in the town again after all of that...) Okay! (I say to Ludo. I'm ready to be able to get up and at them again.)

Well, we weren't expectin' t' be involved in this, anyway. Me mateys 'n I are jest here t' get supplies 'n a new boat. (Rich says to Ludovic.) 'Sides, I don't wanna lose me gloves in there. Jest take me word for it...

(Benji notes Rich's mention of needing a boat.) Hmm...

As per request from Autumn, a small Audino is sitting outside, waiting for the patients. Once the group approaches, he calls them out. "Who's the injured?" He asks, looking everyone over non-chalantly.

Main group

(I look up.)

Oh, that'd be the four of us. (I say, pointing at myself, Delilah, Benji, and Marlon...using both my arms and my antennae. Have I mentioned already that I love having antennae?)

Hello! (Delilah says, giving a small wave.)

Foxfell, Near the Palace

[i snicker to myself.] "See, a'knew it would work, ehehehehehhh!" [I nudge Sunny with my elbow, then look to Maran.] "Well, they should have some sort of hot water there..." [I give Sunny a bit of a stink-eye.] "Couldn't heat up some water fo'yer girlfriend, eh?" [I give her another nudge, cackling as I continue along with the others.]

[When the new medic asks for the injured, I peer over at Niles.] "He's...he's got a bandage on his arm, 'n he got ruffed up pretty bad...ya may wanna get a look at it?" [I shrug.]

"I said I'm fine." Even with a stick in my mouth, that should've gotten through rather clearly.

Noriaki can't help but feel that Nyquil isn't as fine as he insists, but feels it may be best to leave him be for some time as he glances at him from a distance.

Having heard the sounds of the group approaching, Mila appears from inside the palace, rushing over to meet back with them. She looks a bit worried when she notices their injuries, but seeing that they're all standing and nobody seems to be missing puts her at ease.

"I'm glad you're all back safe. Nika told me about what happened, but I needed to see for myself. I would have come with Autumn to meet you, but they wanted me to help figure out what food to prepare for everyone."

Foxfell, close to palace

It's here where I finally take notice of the cursed mons having made their return after...losing their boat to Danjor Island. Huh. I offer a small wave and a quick Hey.. to the cursed mons.

Guessing you guys need a boat? We were at a shoreline the other day with a few boats..

Admittedly I still don't have the warmest opinion on these guys, especially Rich but obviously not the coldest, but...

Right. Come on, Marlon, you can worry about them later, right now the bigger priority is that bruise on your stomach..I face Ludovic, Mila, and the Audino.

Right. So, I'm already guessing that the four of us will be taken in to be checked out first and then the rest go to the feast?

I begin preparing myself to follow.

Dieter hears Liesl and June talking.

"Oh, huh. Didn't know you were cousins."

“Cousins?” I remarked. I struck the most dramatic pose I could. “The plot thickens.”

Main group

(Maran and Sunny (as well as Cortez) have a laugh over Eliot's comments (Maran's is a bit of an embarrassed laugh). Sunny then looks up at Maran.) Oh, Maran, I would have done that if I knew how...

Bzz, it's okay, Sunny. (Maran says.)

Here, allow me... (Marsha says. She hocks a tiny Scald attack in Maran's direction, turning him back to his normal self.)

Thank you! Bzz! (Maran says.)

Any time... (Marsha says, preparing to head in with the rest of us.)

She looks really cool! (Lucy says to June.)

Yeah! (June tells Dieter and Castaway, nodding.) Lizzy and I go way back! Hey, remember when I made ya look like a Zoroark and I told Grampy you were our long lost fourth sister?

Ha...yes I do. He didn't buy it for one minute. (Liesl chuckles.)

Hey, are ya still actin'? (June asks. Then she realizes something else.) Whoa! What happened to two of your tails? They're gone!

(Cortez hides behind Maran, and Sunny hangs her head. Liesl looks at them for a moment then back to June.) Unfortunately, no. It's a very long story. I'll tell you later. You should join everyone else inside.

Well...whatever you say, Lizzy. (June says, turning to the rest of us and shrugging.)

Oh yeah? (Rich says to Marlon, taking care not to get his claws near him despite them being gloved.) Ye know of any goin' t' Danjor Island?

(Shoot, how did I miss Niles? I haven't even talked to him at all since we left to go after Anastasia earlier. What happened to him? I don't remember seeing him when we reached the cave where Anastasia was...)

(I prepare to follow the Audino inside, as do Delilah and Benji.)

They then cast a glance at Zeb.

"Uh... but speaking of... would you mind changing me into Salty again for a while?"

"...well, that works." [I then answer Mila,] "Well, eggs would be nice, gotta have that protein. Maybe some rolls as well?" [Ooh! I could make a sandwich with it...awww, get some cheese, too...no sausage, though, that's real meat there...]

Main group

Heehee, sure! (June says.)

(She does so, and Dieter now looks like the Skuntank that they were for a while yesterday.)

I'm okay with anythin' as long as it's food! (Marsha adds.)

I stand there and think about that.

Benji has one that you'd be able to probably use.

So let's remember: They're going to try and cure their curses at Danjor Island. Noble cause, but I'm not sure if I'd be up for it. At any rste, I continue waiting to be ushered inside.

Outside the Palace

Salty gets used to the shift in perspective and looks at June.

"Heh, thanks for that, matey."

Cool...! (Lucy says.)

You're welcome! (June giggles, patting Salty on the head.)

Ararar, 'hoy there! (Rich greets Salty, then, upon hearing Marlon, turns to Benji.) Oh yeah?

Yeah! I have to make a pit stop in Gleamscape, but I'm actually goin' tuh be leavin' for there in my boat after we get outta here. (Benji says to Rich.) Ya fellas need a lift?

Oh, yes! If you don't mind us tagging along with you? (Maran says.)

Yeah! (Benji says.) I think it'll be big enough to hold all of ya, just sayin'.

Oh, thank you so much, monsieur! (Sunny says, shaking Benji's hand.)

(Cortez shoots a glare at Rich as he stands behind Maran.) Whatever ya do, DON'T TAKE THOSE GLOVES OFF! (He shouts.)

Don't worry, matey, I won't! (Rich says, waving his gloved claws around. He looks back to Benji.) Figure we'll wait for ye mateys out here while ye enjoy the party.

Outside the Palace

Salty receives a hatpat from June.

"Heya, matey, name's Salty."

"Though, you folks seem to talk about him and his gloves a lot. Something happen on that boat?"

"Heh, somehow I imagined that's what you would have asked for, Eliot. One of these days you're going to transform into a Chansey, aren't you?"

In all honesty, even though Mila doesn't tend to enjoy formal events, she's glad that Autumn's parents are doing this for the group. She's wanted for so long a chance to relax, and they've finally been granted one, however short it may be. She can feel in the air that most of the group is tired, but she should still enjoy the opportunity for what it is. After all, she's spent far too much time missing opportunities by worrying already.

Main group

Ooh, that'd be funny! (Lucy laughs, turning to Eliot.) Eliot, you should do that some time!

(Rich is inwardly confused at first, then realizes what's going on and explains.)

Heh heh, we decided that I should turn everyone int' me doubles for a laugh and our combined weight sunk our boat... (Rich tells Salty.) See, me claws are cursed t' do that, and that's why I wear me gloves...

Whoa, no kidding? (June, who hadn't heard of this before, says in surprise.)

It's true... (Liesl tells June.) He's done it to all of us plus me.

Gosh...! (June says.) Ooh! Can ya use it on me?

Ararar, then they'll think yer me and won't let ya in! (Rich says to June.) If ye really want t' see what it's like, wait'll after yer done in there.

Heehee, okay! (June nods.)

(So that's the Tyranitar who turned Marlon into his double? I'm admittedly a bit tempted to ask the Tyranitar to demonstrate on me just to see what it feels like (and because I think being a Tyranitar would be pretty cool), but I have my injuries to be attended to (not to mention that I'd rather be me for the time being to be honest (I get turned into other Pokémon enough already as it is)) and wait for the doctor.)

(Delilah leans over to me, and I'm half-expecting her to ask me about Rich. But instead she says:) Do you want to just go with Benji once he's ready to leave? I don't think we should get in another fight for a while, especially with your face banged up like that.

(Hmm, a valid point. I hate to leave again right after I just got back, but at the same time I really don't want my face or Delilah's shoulder to get even worse if we end up in another fight first thing in the morning or something.) Maybe we should... (I say. At least Marlon may be able to pick up on our whispering.)
