Crap! What do we do now? (I ask, grabbing my antennae again and looking around at everyone else.) Do we need to go after her or what?

She sounds scary... (Lucy says, inching closer to Eliot and wrapping her arms around his waist in worry.)

Noriaki looks around at everyone.

"... Should we see if we can try catching her now, or should we regroup and strategize?"

"...what?!" [I glare at Finley.] "W, we can't just let'er go, we gotta nip her in the ass 'fore she starts doin' this plan a'hers!"

[I frantically look around to the others, tail wobbling, fists shaking, feeling primed and ready to start beating the ever living shit out of whatever the hell she was.] "NOW WHO'S WITH ME, DAMMIT?! We're gonna...we gonna fuckin' TROUNCE her ass!"

[I look down at Lucy as she gets closer to me and holds onto me, feeling myself relax a little.] "Hey, Lucy, it's gonna be okay...'sides, she won't be all that scary once we pound her face into the dirt!"

I'm trying not to laugh, hearing Eliot swearing a lot. That gives me a little kind of courage. "Y-Yeah…!" I say, raising one 'fist,' the other still clinging to Mila.

"Okay, okay, just calm down, okay?" Autumn is very clearly panicking herself. "We'll just, uh..."

King Winter recovers himself. "We'll send the strongest of our men. Should they fail, we get as many civilians in her path to safety before hiding ourselves." The joking in his voice previously is absolutely gone, as it's replaced with a completely serious tone.

"Dad, I think maybe... we can take her? We're a pretty big gro-"

"As for you all, we can meet proper later. For now, head to any inn you can find. At the very least, check in. This castle will be a hotspot for any of her attacks, and I refuse to have you as casualties. Do all of you understand?"

(As soon as I heard the voice I sigh. Couldn't help but boast your plan out loud, eh? I thought about chasing after her in a mad pursuit, but I hesitate. I responded to the group.) Wait, if we all just bolt after her, she might have someone else here to kill the family. She's got to have connections to have this position, right? No way she could have broken out alone.

(I reply to the king.) I can take care of myself against some insurgent. (I'm not sure about the others, especially the little ones, but I know for damn sure I'll hold my ground.)

(I'm tempted to point out that we've been through worse to the king, but I don't feel great about questioning him and nod. I wait to see what the others say...and then Delilah pretty much says what I'm thinking:)

If I may point out, your majesty, we've been through a lot together. We were there when the Chairgon in Hoard went nuts, for example. If all else fails, you can call on us to help out, right? (Delilah asks.) And Grigori has a point.

(I'm surprised by Delilah's determination, which I find myself guessing comes from becoming confident in fighting again. I almost make another of those weird noises again.)

Can I go with you whenever we do that, Eliot? (Lucy asks Eliot.) We can stop her together! Especially since I know good moves now!

Mila continues to hold onto Niles, feeling a bit uncertain from the variety of emotions being expressed among the group as a whole. Why do some of them want so much to fight? She can't let herself believe that all of them have VA. Is it really her and Autumn who are the odd ones out?

*Sarah nods, and pulls out her meager remaining supply of 1400 Poké, presenting 1100 of it to Yukio before saying* Pretty much all I have left, sans my food share — so make it last...

*she then hands the other 300 to Lilly the Lillipup, and requests* Its value in Oran, please. *to which Lilly responds* Coming right up, miss! *filling a sack with a little over a pound of Oran berries...at times like this, Sarah is thankful for her small size, figuring she can make them last*

Throne Room

*Tilly seems to be rather put off by Autumn's parents' nonchalance, and highlights this while saying* While I, too, am troubled by their attitudes, perhaps we should trust that we have a plan that not even Autumn herself is aware of. *before heading the sisters in the direction of the others*

"I suppose it would be for the best to simply heed their command for now", Noriaki conceded.

Indeed it would be the best. Besides, I'm still a little weary about fighting myself after...

(I cast a glance down at my still-bandaged knee from the encounter with the killer, and then back at the group.)

clearing up any confusion I may have introduced *Lilly looks at the goings on and says* So that's uh, 11, 21, 3100 Poké you guys have gotten for tools, huh? Well that's way more than needed for two 10 footers, or even two 25 footers like your kitty friend said — anything else you need?

(I sigh as I think out loud.) Might be getting paranoid. (I spoke to Marlon after considering the assault from earlier and the impact it made, both physically and mentally.) Yeah, I guess we have to hope that traitor sucks at assassination, or at the very least at diabolical plots. (I follow them outside the castle.)

Oh, I must've misheard or misunderstood somethin'! (Cam says, embarrassed and thumbing through her remaining Poké.) Um...can my cash go to some sleepin' pads or somethin' instead?

[I just walk out with the others, too flustered to even try to talk a way out of all this. Did I really want to fight this advisor because I'm trying to prove myself? No...no...my nerves were wrecked, it was that dread of Finley's parents possibly being dead, hearing about their would-be assassin, hearing her escaping...]

"...I'm...sorry for makin'...such a fuss back there," [I whimper out to the others.] "I just...well...a'was j'ss wound up 'n all..." [I still have that fire burning in me...I can tell because I about cloud my vision with the blanket of smoke I sigh out. Nervous energy...nervous energy...yea, I'm gonna want to spar later...]

Lilly the Lillipup chimes in, saying* Sleeping bags are 1000 for little (2ft), 3000 for medium (5ft), and 6000 for huge(8ft)...for Snorlaxes and other big mons!

*Lilly the Lillipup points a paw over to the Oran barrels and says to Yukio* We have a whole 90 pounds of them when we're full, but doesn't that kinda seem heavy to carry everywhere?
