I largely share their sentiments in regards to the musical, even though it has been almost a decade since I last saw it.
Does Lindsay still work with Nella?
Optimism is a duty. She said on her twitter that she'd like to but time and currently being on opposite ends of the US mean they can't really do collaborations.
They're friends still, but Nella living in New York and Lindsay in California means they don't really work together that much.
Nella's got a cool project going though, a podcast called the Apocalist Book Club.
Not Three Laws compliant.I actually thought she lived in Chicago.
Oh right, now that you mention it, I think that's where she's from.
Optimism is a duty.We got a cover for Axiom’s End sequel!
And the next video will be on the "Cross-dressing sex murderer" trope, apparently.
Something Contra Points missed in that video (I think, since I didn't watch to the very end), was that the trope of the crossdressing serial killer probably came from Ed Gein, since he collected women's body parts, allegedly to make a "woman suit" since his mother, who he was definitely very close to, had died. It doesn't seem like Gein ever actually crossdressed though, so the tropes must've come from theorizing/dramatization. If Lindsay actually does make the expansion, hopefully it'll address Gein in more detail.

Oh yes, the serial killer so vile he inspired no less than three iconic serial killers in fiction.
Optimism is a duty.Norman Bates, Leatherface, and Buffalo Bill, right?
It's been 3000 years…Right. Quite the inspiration. People would call it over the top if it wasn't real.
Optimism is a duty.Weirdly low body count though, like two wasn't it (at least that he confessed to)? Did a lot of grave robbing. Like definitely makes him a serial killer. Anyways transphobia is probably what captured people's imaginations, real origins or not.

Shit. Ted Bundy was never that influential.
Link for that cover doesn't work.
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."Found an interview regarding MusicSplaining. If anyone’s interested. Nearly a year old but still fun. I’ve been enjoying this series so far.
Minor side-note, given what I’ve been talking about here, it’s kinda funny how it confirmed what I was saying that she’s not a fan of Parker & Stone, which, whatever, opinions. They do say they’re gonna cover Book of Mormon eventually so that’s gonna be fun. BoM is my favorite musical and it led to Robert Lopez doing music for Frozen and Coco.

Man you're really hung up on her not being a fan of the Southpark dudes are you?
Not really, hence my opinions remark. I was just making a side note on how funny it was when I’ve spent here talking about that when this random interview showed up that contained something about that subject. It was gonna be mentioned eventually so I might as well. I was searching for the podcast and found this and I thought it was worth sharing for people who like the podcast. I’m frankly done with talking about South Park here.
And thank God for that.
Since no one’s posted this yet, new Musical Splaining, this time The Sound of Music
Lindsay channels Contrapoints to discuss the origin of Transphobia.
Odd, the video doesn't seem to be on Lindsay's list of videos on her channel, though I can clearly view the video itself.
Optimism is a duty. Its still unlisted but she made it public on twitter.

It showed up saying "uploaded 11 minutes ago" (which is ~10 minutes after Ghilz post) and now its vanished again
Ahh, yeah, shenanigans like that.

Dunno why y'all so obsessed over the channel listing instead of watching the video.
Besides, the tag says unlisted on the video's page :-P
Musicalsplaining episode I missed and no one's posted it, so here's their new episode on Repo! The Genetic Opera
I have not watched that so this will be a trip listening to them try to recap it if what I've heard about Repo itself is true.
