The Existentialist Idealist
Lyrics start out in a fairly poetic and abstract manner but they quickly become more graphic by the end. The mention of rape and child death bumps it to a 9 for me, i was thinking about bumping it to a higher level but the lack of a graphic description makes it fitting for me.

NOTE: This one also nets a very high levels in the Moh's scale of of rock and metal hardness even though it features no screaming vocals or loud noises whatsover because of ''reasons'', just sayin'.

would probably be an 8 due to the mention of hard drugs, buutt considering the repetitiveness of the lyrics and the fact that said hard drugs are only mentionned at the end, i'd say this is a 7 or even a 6
7, Dunno if it's just me but you don't really see too many songs about a couple doing a suicide pact.

i'd say between 7 and 8, the lyrics are a bit cryptic but they're generally pretty depressing, + the mentions of "[his] friend who put a bullet in his brain"

ok i recently found out that monster by lady gaga could just be about a women falling for a bad boy
i guess there are 2 different interpretations of this song, and one is clearly darker then the other
the molestation interpretation is likely an 8 what do yall think about the less dark interpretation

This feels like a dying dream. Getting in a car crash, something about a burned car, getting put into a stretcher. This feels like the last moments before dying after getting into a very horrific car accident. I also think how weak the words are uttered in the song, compared with it's trippy, dreamy nature, really helps. I also like the end of the song where he says "I was always against you too", as if somebody else killed him. And he feels nothing but hatred towards that person. 7 or 8

5 - A picture of what feels like suburbanite decay and dying dreams with enough unsavoriness around the edges to hint at something worse without really pushing the waiting horror that hard. Pretty emblematic of what a lot of Americans are feeling and have been for a while.
