That would be great if I knew where to watch it.
Optimism is a duty....Doesn't the tweet imply it'll be on Netflix?
Anyway, wasn't expecting an update (or redesign) this soon. Although some of those Spanish tweeters might not be liking said redesign too much...
According to Netflix, the show will arrive on October 5th.
Latest blog update (November 5th, 2022).A trailer for the upcoming season of Legend Quest: Masters of Myth:
Why do the characters look so different?
It's jarring
Because its artstyle change?
I have to say, I couldn't really tell what this show is about just from that trailer. It was rather confusing.
Optimism is a duty.I'm okay with the art style, but they changed Leo way too much. Barely even the same character.

Mark Hoffmeier is joining season 2 as co-producer and co-story editor.
Context for : Mark Hoffmeier's previous work includes Stretch Armstrong, Spy Kids, Spider-Man (I guess the most recent toon?), LEGO Nexo Knights, LEGO Marvel Super Heroes, and Power Rangers.
I like the new look. Both have their charm, the way I see it, and I'mma enjoy soaking this style's charm in. Also, I guess the reason for the large break between seasons is, at least in part, due to the art style change. (I wouldn't be surprised if there was other behind-the-scenes stuff that slowed production.)
I'm just happy to see this series back. :D I also like how Leo's rocking a more confident, adventurey, and ruggedly sporty look, which is conveyed even through the style change.
Haven't see the trailer just yet, but I wonder if Nando and Xochitl will have parts to play. One thing I can say I wish was apart of the show was Nando, as his presence in the first and fourth movies was a really good means to foil Leo. Plus, I low-key liked the character in general, especially in the fourth movie. And Xochitl not having carried over in any of the movies past the first is just a little surprising to me, especially since Teodora (or some incarnation of the character) has always appeared since. It'd be nice to see Xochitl used again.
It looks like we'll be getting Evaristo, at least. I wasn't expecting additions from the later movies.

Latest blog update (November 5th, 2022).So Masters of Myth is on Netflix now, but something's up.
Apparently it's a soft reboot rather than a continuation. Like, all the stuff that happened still happened, but now Marcella's The Rival to Leo and Teodora's the Love Interest.

Is it really soft reboot though if first season is still canon? .-.
Or is it case where the first season is clearly canon in Broad Strokes sense?

Okay, doing some more poking, it may not really be a soft reboot so much as it is an unexpectedly intensive change in character dynamics, like Marcella having a team to rival Leo's and the Brotherhood maybe not being nearly as friendly as we assumed...
EDIT: Wait, now the Tropes page is making me shift back towards the "reboot" argument. Donkey confused...

Well thats kinda given since its possible someone was reading the thread and editing tropes based on that plus its common to have wrong tropes on first day of editing after new season and stuff
It weirdly uses a lot of characters and stories from the first season, but also ignoring the events from that season. Not just Marcella and Leo, but with characters like Fenrir and Mr. Madera, and them acting like it's the first time they've faced them.
They didn't even resolve the cliffhanger from the first season's ending.
Latest blog update (November 5th, 2022).Yeah, that's what I've been hearing over at the anime-superhero (formally known as Toonzone) forums.
Why would they go that route?
It's like you finished a story in a comic book while leaving something for next time, but then the next issue starts with something else altogether.
I would consider asking them outright via Twitter, but part of me is worried it'll get me blocked by them...
Another part of me wonders if they KNOW about the inconsistencies and are planning to address them later somehow. They can't leave it hanging forever, can they?
So should I skip season one or not? Since it seems like this new season has changed the characters personalities and other things if I'm reading correctly.
According to the showrunner, that decision was made after he got on the project, which I can believe. I mean, even season one had an awkward first couple of episodes that barely introduce the cast and the premise, even though the series is different from the movie series.
I'd say the first season is definitely worth checking out as a stand alone. The designs were a bit nice and the plot a bit better.
Latest blog update (November 5th, 2022).Oh.
Well, at the very least, we know someone up there knows there's some hiccups with the continuity.
But hang on, the choice was made a while back?
Sorry, but that just raises further questions!

^^^I'd say its worth seeing both of them.
Season two OFFICIALLY confirmed. It will have the subtitle "Masters of Myth", have 13 episodes total, and it appears to feature an art style change.
