I free pulled Leif from the BHB banner, Adrift Corrin from the Dragon Fang banner, and Bridal Charlotte from the 1st year Bridal Banner rerun.

Probably gonna lose the spd penalty(as small as it is for her) and gain Death blow or swift sparrow on refine.

Elincia's weapon is strictly worse than Cherche's (or Klein's), so it getting a refine isn't unexpected. Her stats aren't exactly optimized for a brave weapon either.

They're good enough that she does actually hit very hard against green and red targets. It's just that there's a lot of stuff with insanely inflated bulk at this point (read: a shitload of meta armours/dragons). Adding another Death Blow 3 as the refine would probably be a fairly simple way of trying to address it. They could also go the Klein route and give it innate Chill Def. I guess since she's fast enough to get into quadding range, they could also try to address the fact that her bulk gives her a real rough time surviving counterattacks before hits 3-4 land. That would probably have to be addressed with something a bit above the normal cut, like +4 all stats on initiation, though.

Yeah, she's not weak exactly, but she doesn't really stand out in this world of OP mega-characters. I use her on my flier team, and she's rather noticeably worse than, say, Giga-Nino or Galeforce Catria.

That said, she can still kill almost anything when surrounded by Hone Fliers.

Swords are bad, nuff said.

It comes from being the densest goddamn pool of all weapon types.

No one sword can stand out, like that, when half of all characters use them.

There are a few, but mostly because their personal weaponry is a bit different. Karla and Ayra both have a pretty dumb damage output. Elincia has an interesting brave weapon that doesn't really have much for equivalents (Palla's kinda there). Likewise, Caeda stands out a bit because she has double effectiveness and cheats the normal restrictions by having Flashing Blade for a refine. There's also Vanguard Ike, though he's mostly known for being one of F2P's key saviours when it comes to difficult PvE stuff. Black Knight/Zelgius can also do some ridiculous crap with Bold Fighter Black Luna. Alm with refine is kind of the premiere all-purpose dragon slayer.

Otherwise, yeah... that's pretty much a fraction of the whole pool. Dragons tend to be the better melee red pick most of the time.

Mareeta? Seems like she should be pretty nasty.

L!Roy's also free attack and speed stat boosts, distant counter, effective against dragons, and can put out some pretty dumb damage himself with Bonus Doubler. Plus Renewal for extra survivability.

L!Marth's pretty good as far as stat boosts go, and he hard counters all dragons, though no DC, his magic fragility and lack of survivability on his own holds him back a bit.

Fir is a cool option because she can delete any unit thanks to her Prf + Wrath + Blue Flame/Moonbow/Aether and do it several times

L!Marth only counters them if he initiates. I've actually one-shot a number of them initiating with my TA3 Nowi.

Good point on L!Roy.

And yeah, I guess Mareeta would probably more or less match Karla and Ayra.

I suppose this shows the kind of lengths they have to go to to try to get a sword to stand above the rest. Granted, the other pools are starting to run into similar issues—just a year and some change behind red's situation.

Decided to do some summoning again today, and within only two different circles I managed to pull ANOTHER Naga and ANOTHER Duma. The Gacha Goddesses are preparing to not give me anything for a whole year after this, I bet.

They both had terrible IV, so I just merged them to what I already have. Really wish I got a better Naga, but nullifying my first one's -Defense IV is good enough for me (both were +HP).

You know it's funny, the way my merge projects hashed out I can just wait for a Ylgr banner, only pull blues, and get whatever I want since my other merge project is Gwendolyn.

With DC and Special Fighter she can shit out bonfires every attack, it's hilarious.

For future, reference, two of a Mythic is the optimal way to score in Aether Raids without being a mega whale (who would pull upwards of 22 copies...). This gives you 2x Mythic + blessed bonus + 2x blessed whatever else for 160 points per match.

Yup sure would be nice to pull a new Mystic Hero by now.

I gave Naga a few pull attempts but nowhere near as badly as I did Yune. It ain't happening. She's cool, but she's not something I feel I absolutely need right now. Her mythic-ness stems from being the OG dragon god but Marth and crew where never the part of the franchise I cared much about. They never made it over here until Lyn and Hector blazed a trail, after all.

Heh, building a second Fallen Takumi for Astra season was one of the best Aether Raids decisions I've made. Coupling it with the Bolt Tower level 4, enemies can end up starting the real engagement down 35 HP and in Panic. I just had my +0 Fallen Berkut (with single Fort advantage, bonus advantage, single Naga boost and +6 all stats from L!Azura—but otherwise no extra Drive or ally support bonuses like what my M!Corrin or Marth usually provide to Surtr or Fjorm) murder tank his way through two pre-charged L!Alms and a precharged Luna L!Roy in the same EP. Pulse Party that!
