I'm annoyed. Ive been trying to get a Nephenee for the last few day, so with only a few hours left on the banner and I ended up with 2 Katarinas instead...

I woden't mind so much, if I didn't already have a -HP +spd one.

If you're sniping for Nephenee, it's generally not a great idea to pull anything other than blue, otherwise that kind of thing ends up happening.

I kept getting packs with no blue orbs though that's the thing.

Spent the last of my orbs. Very last pull and I got myself my 5 star blue unit!... female Morgan.

Oh well, at least it's someone I don't have, and something I've needed for a while. A solid Blue Tome defensive unit. Shame she has -Res +Spd, but I think she might still be usable.

That's still very salvageable.

3 days until we know who this month's legendary hero. Can't wait until I hear the bitching about how it's not another Kaga era character again.

Still rather have Sharena as this month's legendary hero, mostly for Feh.◊

I'm looking at my neutral Sonya's performance. She really struggles, even when I pull off res/atk ploy.

I am actually considering Sturdy Blow on her. Reasoning: when attacking dragons or DC people, she doesn't even live through the first counter. If she could survive through one attack, she is more likely to pull off a Draconic Aura nuke.

Thoughts?

The other alternative is to give her Deathblow, Quickened Pulse, Moonbow and a best friend called Marisa.

It seems to me that Sonya could really use a refine to Dark Excalibur (either prf or generic). Just the 4 hp could make a difference.

I don't even see why you wouldn't equip her with quicken pulse to begin with if she's part of your main team.

I got a random Micaiah last night while trying to get Nephenee.

She's -Defense, +Resistance.

The fact that her IV is pretty good makes me not want to just sacrifice her to Faye to give her Distant Defense 3.

Although, even with her incredibly high Res and her good Armor and cavalry killing capabilities, I think she's going to struggle finding a decent niche for me, given I have a few pretty good Blue Mages already, and I already have units that shut Reinhardt and Brave Lyn down entirely. But I guess I'll wait and see, it'd be shame to just sack her for inheritance fodder.

Nah, I'm in tier 19.5 at best. And Sonya is not actually part of my first team, she's actually very far from being part of my main team.

Well I don't think I can say anything that you probably already know. I personally don't think steady blow would be that helpful since she looks she was meant to fight mage to begin with

Got Floatie Tiki and Tak-Tak on the same pull. Very serviceable IVs, too. I'll forgive this game for the awful luck on nearly every other banner since the last legendary banner.

I've also maxed Olivia and Sumia in the bonding event. The other two have rarely appeared even when it's their "likely" time slot. What a nice and completely non-annoying mechanic.

Amen to that. How the hell do I max out Sumia and Olivia yet Maribelle and Libra are only ~1000?

Dumb Pulse special insta-gib shenanigans is pretty much Sonya's niche, so you'll have to build toward it to have her excel. Boosting her Def is more or less a losing proposition since her neutral Spd isn't particularly good.

There's a new notification about the August update. Most of it is what we learned in the FEH Channel a while ago (with additional details like the exact rewards for tier 21), but there's some new stuff too. Most notable seems to be that they're adding a way to save skillsets and swap between them quickly.

Whelp, already maxed out my affection. Didn't take too long with the multipliers.

The skillset swapping thing is a very welcome feature.

My new favorite thing is Charlotte with Harmonic Lance + atk, Brazen atk/spd 3, Vantage 3, atk IV and atk seal. Currently, she has Threaten Defense too, but I might swap that one out.

Nothing deletes an unit quite like this, when her special is charged, which is easily done with Noire and Marisa on the team.

Infernal Red Ansem was annoying, but Dance Dance Reinvolution pulled through at the end.

She Who Does Her Best With Dancers pulls through yet again. Though not without some actual planning this time at least.

Charged in blind with my fliers team of Caeda/Summer Corrin/NY!Azura/Spring Camilla. Cleared it no problem, though I did need to restart on Infernal since I didn't noticed Walhart's special was charged and Azura couldn't tank him. Having the Flier Formation seal on Caeda helped a lot.

At first I hit a wall trying to play with vanity units in the GHB infernal, then I tried harder with a flyer emblem, but still failed.

I eventually got it by using my Wind cavalry team (Mageirika, Ursula, Gunnthra and Titania). It surprised me, too, because it wasn't a team that abused Dire Thunder, Blade Tomes or Dancers.
