I prefer what's currently on there.
For the record, I strongly dislike the one that's on the page now.
I would like something that is not superman.

I prefer the original one, but I am fine with the current.
I don't like the one that is currently on there, as it has a visible seam. The previous one is fine, but I'm not ruling out the possibility that we could find something better.
Bigotry will NEVER be welcome on TV Tropes. The trope is not about people shooting Superman, so I prefer an image that is not about that.

This signature says something else when you aren't looking at it.I dislike the current too, because of the seam and the partially cut title.
It's true the trope is about people keeping using a method already demonstrated useless, not necessarily just shooting a superhero, but this part is not easy to illustrate.
(The Bulletman picture doesn't work for that matter, since the villain IS thinking about a switch of tactic, i.e. fleeing).
The superman pictures are better, especially 2.1, although it's a bit too large.
We'd need a picture showing not only bad guys "shooting Superman", but also that it has gone for an unreasonably long time (for a example with a wall riddled with bullet holes behind, and the super looking totally bored).

Agreed that we should diversify given the title.
Example from X-Men:
You've got roaming bands of armed, aggressive, tyrannical plumbers coming to your door, saying "Use our service, or else!"2.3 cropped and wiki-sized.
Actually, reading the tropes again, it seems these pics are leaning more towards Immune to Bullets (I don't think the pic on that page is supergood either for quality reasons, but whatever). This trope only applies when the bad guys continue using weapons that have already been proven to be ineffective.
You've got roaming bands of armed, aggressive, tyrannical plumbers coming to your door, saying "Use our service, or else!"^ Then this probably needs a lampshading to work.
these two tropes seems more similar, maybe need a discussion in TRS.
Immune to Bullets is a character trope while Shooting Superman is a narrative one. But there is a strong connection. I'd say after 10 secs of pointless shooting at somebody who is Immune to Bullets you have already entered Shooting Superman territory.
Nonetheless, here are lampshaded examples that could work:

I like the Wonderella example for actually showing the shooting, but it will probably require some editing/recompilation of panels.
You've got roaming bands of armed, aggressive, tyrannical plumbers coming to your door, saying "Use our service, or else!"Prefer to have an image that does not show shooting at all. The trope can encompass stabbing throwing rocks, drowning etc. too.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanThe Wonderella one is definitively a move in the right direction.
As a side-note, the "Real Life" section of the trope seems to be full of misplaced examples that would probably be better in Immune to Bullets.

^^ Then perhaps 16.2 is for you.
Nah, I'd prefer one that actually shows the attacks rather than a quote disguised as an image.

''“You want a planet? I’ll give you a planet! Heck, I’ll give you your own solar system! No, I’ll give you a house... in Boca Raton!^^ I think he just means more variety. 16.2 doesn't really show anything.
That said, 18.

You've got roaming bands of armed, aggressive, tyrannical plumbers coming to your door, saying "Use our service, or else!"With the most recent discussion in mind, 18 is the best we've got so far for this trope.
As for Immune to Bullets, that one was decided on here, but almost every suggestion prior to 16 is a better pic, both for the art and for depicting the trope. I'm particularly partial to the Wonder Woman pic, of course.

I'll switch to Wonder Woman for Immune to Bullets as well. Looks like we already have Collosus on Extra-ore-dinary.

It's still a Superman picture, but the previous one was decided by an IP thread with artist's authorization (and link to their site). Although the commented-out text on the page strangely doesn't give the actual link to the thread, it still asks to not change the picture without discussion and was ignored.
