It sure is.
My angry rant blog!Well, that's one way of bringing Ashley Johnson back. I really like the idea of following Mirror Tulips story.
You lost!Infinity Train book 2 premieres January 6. It's also a 5 night event.

The lead character goes from Terra (Ashley Johnson) to Spiderman (Robbie Daymond).

The first book 2 episode "The Black Market Car" is live in the CN app. First minute:
Huh. With this moving to HBO I wasn’t expecting it to be on CN at all. And it’s airing this week? Having watched I’m excited to see where it goes.
The new episodes will be premiering in a few minutes.
"A Lady does not start fights but they can finish them"Episode 5-6 spoiler: I'm really glad the woman with the enormous number turned out to be a Chekhov's Gunman. Interested to learn more about Grace's crew.
I am curious to see who is Grace. I am sure she will be a bad influence on Jesse in some way. Also I love how the Parasite got the names wrong nearly every time.
Thanks to the short, i'm pretty scared of this deer character. Episode 2 made me even more scared of it. What if it phased right through you or something!? I highkey got Spooky's Jump Scare Mansion vibes from this episode as well.
I'm more amused by the fact the parasite had the voice of Crow T. Robot.
So is it gonna be tradition for Episode 8 to be the saddest and darkest one of the season, kinda like Episode 11 is in BoJack Horseman?
I have to give them credit. Not many shows would have the balls to have their protagonist kill someone like that.
The Crystal Caverns A bird's gotta sing.hopefully Gambit doesn't become some murder crazy person that the Reflection Police were correct in needing to terminate.
Given she only killed Mace because he was trying to kill her out of sheer spite, I don't think this will become a trend. I'm really excited for the next two episodes.
The Crystal Caverns A bird's gotta sing.I am HERE for these existential metaphysics discussions.
I've honestly been wondering about it since Atticus last season. At the end I'm thinking "so, wait, is Atticus just like, an AI? Is he 'real?'" Because that felt so strange considering how much the show built him up as a character and not just a means to an end for Tulip.
Grace and her Apex gang using the same thinking—insisting that they're "real" is a very particular terminology—shows how super chilling it is to treat others like they're not persons. I mean, it's the same logic with video games: it's alright to be a jerk or even a monster to NPCs in video games because they're "not real." But if doing so made them sad, or angry, or display pain? Is it still okay? But we all KNOW NPCs are just A.I.s, and the illusion of sentience is usually pretty shallow with video games. The Train is a whole 'nother situation...

I gotta confess, I didn't expect this. That was quite the metaphysical conversation about the train.
(I'm also loving Alan Dracula's wacko transformations.)
Well Book 2 is done and Mirror Tulip aka Gambit now known as Lake got off the train. I was right about the murder somewhat as Lake did kill a bunch of the train's robots in her rage and certainly did some damage. Because Apex did not get resolved I think that they will be back as an antagonist in the hypothetical Book 3. but that is a WMG.
The part in in episode 9 when she's trying to get any part of the system to notice or acknowledge her and nothing does gave me some big chills.
Anyway, my favorite gag was how Jesse couldn't find AD in his phone because he named every animal he meets ____ , Dracula.
He named them all Dracula...including the deer, until deciding to change it to Alan Dracula after meeting MT but couldn't find him in his phone.
YO. Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie....How the fuck does MT/ Lake have a reflection anyway?
De-facto, she's just a walking chrome statue. Chrome has reflections. It's not a transparent material.
The Crystal Caverns A bird's gotta sing.Spectacular finale, such a great emotional catharsis for MT/Lake's journey. And what a journey! I don't think I've even seen a cartoon take on issues of personhood like this before. So unique and thought-provoking!
Maybe the solution to MT not having a number was a little underwhelming, but seeing One-one react to it so nonchalantly was hilarious enough to make up for any weakness.
I'm not talking about the real world physics behind it. The show has established that in its universe, reflections are real individuals with their own thoughts and feelings distinct from their "prime". Who is MT's reflection, then? Why does she get a reflection "assigned" to her while Tulip still lacks one months after they go their separate ways?
