I suppose. I mean, what? He's been around for ages, practically immortal. If he wants to take over the world on the daily, it wouldn't be that easy to get rid of him (especially since, with no supernatural police around, he can escape whenever he want through teleportation). He and Animo are on similar levels (though Animo's a whole diff brand of crazy).
I wasn't criticizing. Just noticing. It's interesting that they picked Hex to get more focus on.
On a note, saw bits of the episode with Ben 10,000. I will admit... Ben 10000 taking on the AF jacket was a nice reference. And I did like stuff like Gwen being president like in UA and Hex being her sceneschal.

Hex and Zombozo were some of Kelly's favorite villains.
On that note, guess who's back?
They're here and better than ever!
Holy shit, are they making OS, AF, UA, and OV all divergent timelines? That would explain why all of their Bens are present alongside Gwen 10.
Good question, It would be odd if Ben gathered an alternative version of himself and it was actually 1 alternative Gwen, and 1 alternative Ben, times four. Although arguably it's not new, the last time Ben teamed up with his alternatives, he included Ben 10K after all. I guess we will see if OV Ben remembers being previous guys.
I guess one possible explanation is that those are just very similar timelines. Kinda how Gwen 10 from Omniverse is probably not the same one that showed up in Original Series (because that one lost watch to Max).

They could also be taken from the OG timeline at some point the way OS Ben appeared in UA, and have their memory erased about it (save for OV Ben and RB Ben, perhaps)
This came out.
Three days 'til the end...
And it ended.
I always figured the best explanation for the Ben 10 future timelines is just that whenever Ben interacts with his future, he creates a new one. Makes sense. It's simple.
Ben interacts with his uptight future self, decides to be less uptight and creates AF / UA Ben 10,000, then another is created from that interaction, and so on and so forth.
It wasn't until Omniverse was like "NO, THERE IS ONLY ONE FUTURE... but we also want to do a multiple timelines arc at the same time you guys figure it out" that the whole thing started to make less sense.

"The difference between reality and fiction is that fiction has to make sense." - Tom Clancy, paraphrasing Mark Twain. Was the implication supposed to be that reboot max is a plumber and he was just pretending to be incompetent?
Also, it's weird that they got Ultimate Alien Ben, payed special attention to the ultimatrix, and didn't have him go Ultimate at any point.
Well, they had to notice that he looks different in any way whatsoever to Alien Force one. Other than that they didn't pay much attention, they didn't even call it Ultimatrix.
And yeah, I guess so. Odd reveal since nothing really comes out of it and possibly nothing will.
Overall, Ben 10k special was pretty good, if kinda flawed, Generator Rex was actually pretty terrible and Alien X was easily one of the coolest things this Reboot created.

That was so stupid. I'm really not a UA fan, to put it lightly, but it handled the whole thing better in its Ben 10,000 episode where Ben's all "you're my real future!" and Paradox immediately corrects him by basically saying "Yes, at least until he isn't anymore, the future isn't set in stone and anything can change it."

Why was the Generator Rex one terrible?
Mostly it was just long dull action sequences that went on without any real plot progression, with some bad jokes that also felt like they stretched for too long until we reached the anti-climatic conclusion.
One of the big attractions of this special was the army of aliens from Omnitrix that was unleashed by accident. Hex literally seised something that Vilgax hyped up since 2006 but he never got to have it for more than 5 minutes. And it was dull. All those aliens reduced to dull minions that barely ever use their powers. They even brought up aliens from previous seasons like Wildvine or Stinkfly so they can hang around and do nothing.
Oh, yeah, and there is Rex. His character arc of him becoming more confident and learning to use his powers was okay-ish and that's the best I can say. In terms of action, he only uses the sword for 3/4 of special before learning how to do fists and boots towards the end.
Oh and then there is that half-hearted attempt to fit Generator Rex and Ben 10 into a single universe. As if, there wasn't one. They just went with the same origin story. Through the special term, EVO was mentioned over and over again but we never actually see one.
I see... yeah, that does kinda sound like a shame.
That's unfortunate, Generator Rex was a personal favorite of mine back in the day.
So here’s a fun idea, if Adaptational Badass were to apply to The Worst and Walkatrout in this universe. What ideas would you have for them? For the Worst, I had the idea of him being a Wario Land reference what with Wario being indestructible in Wario Land 2 & 3. Maybe while running or dropping down, he builds up speed to the point of hitting like a speeding train, also could prefer to do the shoulder bash, and could charge up and throw anything really far like in Wario Land 4.
For Walkatrout, I’ve seen art of a hypothetical Ultimate form that had it become a Gyarados so why not have it so that a dragon like form is attained after maturing similar to what happened to Swampfire in Omniverse.
Check out Rogues Gallery Transplant: The GameGUESS WHICH FRANCHISE IS DOING A CROSSOVER DLC◊ WITH BEN 10?!
I approve of both ideas, especially for Walkatrout.
It is. Dude was voicing Heatblast the whole show, they didn't had to look far for him.
