I think those two are going to get married and have children and still spend their lives trying to make each other confess.
The anime better run long enough to get to this arc, because seeing these scenes animated will be amazing.
How many chapters has the anime covered in the first three episodes? 6? 7?
Flippé de participer à ce grand souper, je veux juste m'occuper de taper mon propre tempo.
Each episode seems to adapt three chapters, but they're also not adapted in order.
It's not a series that's very high on continuity. Or rather, there are a lot of stand-alone plots you can plop down just about where you want to.
Check out my fanfiction!So far:
- Episode 1 adapted chapter 1, 12, and 5
- Episode 2 adapted chapter 11, 7, and 6
- Episode 3 adapted chapter 14, 8, and 9
Next episode is supposedly adapting chapter 17 to 20, the French exchange arc. Ishigami will probably appear in episode 5 or 6.
As of yet unadapted/skipped:
- Chapter 2-3: old maid and movie date
- Chapter 4: quiz
- Chapter 10: pranks
- Chapter 13: indirect kiss
- Chapter 15: cockroach
- Chapter 16: Kashiwagi consultation
A lot of people think the anime will end around the fireworks arc (chapter 45).

I think that's a fair bet, yeah. That's a solid storyline for an episodes 11-12 cliffhanger, and a good lead-in for getting people into the manga.
Also, the cockroach chapter may have just been "covered" by the end of Chika's dance ED since it basically spoils how she handles it.
It's been fun.So, I just stumbled upon this series.
That ED dance is amazing. I initially saw it as a gif and watched the full ED...and my God, the motion is great but I hate the song itself.

I'm a (socialist) professional writer serializing a WWII alternate history webnovel. What, you don't like SHUKI SHUKI SHUKI SHUKI CHOKI CHOKI DOKI DOKI
Yes. I think it's a trash and makes my ears bleed. It's really not my preference. I also hate the opening by the way. It's such an old style of music now there are both blood and dust in my ears.
That said, the first episode was great. This feels very unique and I really liked the visual direction and voice acting. In some way, because of the hammy narrator it even reminds me of Jojo.
I am a simple guy and if any character screams out BAKANA in an entertaining enough way, I like that character. And Chica. Bless that girl, she's cute.
I'm a (socialist) professional writer serializing a WWII alternate history webnovel.Fujiwara's awesome, yes.
I haven't actually seen the anime, though. Don't really have time left to check out anime of manga I'm already reading. Except one other one. Worth checking out? Heard both good and bad things about it.
Check out my fanfiction!I don't know what you're looking for in an adaptation, but the anime is a very faithful adaptation of the manga (chapter orders notwithstanding). Almost everything is on-point (the "How cute" is perfect IMO) and the others are improved (like the 20 questions having a wild west shootout motif).
The only bad thing I notice is the bento chapter, as I feel Kaguya doesn't come off as wrathful enough.
The only bad things I've heard are the initial repeated exposition, which gets subverted as a gag in the third episode so it clearly won't continue, and the narrator. If you like the manga then you're used to the narrator, so jump in. It's a fantastic adaptation thus far.
KAWEEEEEEEE!!!!
Chika is too good for this world. I'm sure at least some of her actions are too on-point to not be deliberate. Kaguya's butler is also pretty funny, in the completely opposite way.
…Watching the last part of this episode as a French person felt extremely weird, as the words were accurate but the intonation was completely off (obviously, I don't assume any of the seiyuu actually speak French). Although when I said the words were accurate, that was true at first, but when they started throwing insults it was pretty much all gibberish.
Flippé de participer à ce grand souper, je veux juste m'occuper de taper mon propre tempo.Anytime Hayasaka(Kaguya's maid) shows up, it's a good time. Probably one of my favorite characters(after Chika of course)
Found out Betsy was voiced by Sally Amaki which was a nice surprise.

Hmm, this episode feels a bit rushed. I guess that's what happens when you adapt 4 chapters at once. They even cut Hayasaka (Kaguya's maid)'s introduction.
The French was like that in the manga, too. Actual French words at first, black squares later.
Next episode is supposedly chapter 16 (2nd love consultation), 21 (umbrella), and 23 (volleyball). Umbrella is one of my favorite chapters, so I hope they do it really well.
Yeah, they didn't want to actually use French profanity, so...
Creed of the Happy Pessimist:Always expect the worst. Then, when it happens, it was only what you expected. All else is a happy surprise.Heck yeah, volleyball.
Japan is just too polite to understand this noble art of ours.
Flippé de participer à ce grand souper, je veux juste m'occuper de taper mon propre tempo.Rewatching episode 3's ending, it's even more realistic than I remembered…
…Oh wait.
Flippé de participer à ce grand souper, je veux juste m'occuper de taper mon propre tempo.Chapter out: We tie up some of the festival loose ends.
Who is that person Shirogane made to collect balloons again?
So Shirogane had the recommendation for Kaguya prepared beforehand. Sasuga prez.
Fujiwara has the devils owns luck. Also Karen ascends to heaven.
Ishigami once said that to become a protagonist of a harem series, you need to be dense as fuck. Well now...
Hayasaka's reactions are funny. So's the running commentary on how impossible it is. It's almost as if it's deliberately written to point in a very specific direction, but I'm not going to go WMG on this here.
Fujiwara does as Fujiwara does, and the universe bends to accommodate her.
Iino really is a sweet girl. She just has a little bit of a difficult personality at times.

Check out my fanfiction!Wait. Is this the manga thread, the anime thread, or a thread for both? I'm very confused.
Both… I mean, this doesn't seem like the kind of series where there's a lot to spoil anyway.
