I didn't hate this season but it really was all over the place. The extended number of episodes really did not help.
Also, is Whale still really on this "Black Lightning took Syonide from me" train?
Please tell me Khalil isn't coming back. This is just taking one of the worst ideas from the other CW shows.
Agent Odell: Moment Killer.
Kept forgetting to watch last week's episode. Only just finished it and this week. Is it too much to hope for that The Pit won't be a Cardboard Prison?
You fell victim to one of the classic blunders!Late to the party.
Man, this is now the second underwhelming season finale for this series. And yeah, the Season was all over the place. Too little focus, too many characters.
What was the point of that Looker chick again? The storyline with Grace was also pretty confusing, Lala's resurrection was completely pointless, and don't even get me started on Reverend Holt and even Khalil, apparently, surviving. I know Death Is Cheap in comic books, but this show really takes it to a whole nother level.
As for Tobias, I hope he stays in that hole in the next season.

You fell victim to one of the classic blunders! She little to nothing to do with the Looker from the comics as well. She might as well have been an OC.
Latest blog update (November 5th, 2022).Maybe they can pull an Arrow and introduce a truer to the text version down the line.
Binged the second season on Netflix. I was worried for the pacing here, but luckily it was just 16 episodes compared to the first season's 13. I think Tobias Whale had the best run you could give him as the Big Bad this season, so hopefully he stays a side character (if that) in season 3. Speaking of season 3, I'm actually excited for the Markovian War plot. Didn't expect that to be in a Black Lightning show, but the set-up for it was good and it'll lead to interesting places.
The only part I didn't like was the Runaways Arc with Khalil and Jen. I couldn't get behind Jen at all here, even if I do get why she felt that way. It's also part of the reason I don't want Khalil to come back. His character frustrated me, but he had a powerful send-off.

I thought at much.
Considering the nature of Crisis, Black Lightning not being there would have been odd.
Man, can't wait to see his reaction to finding out about Alternate Universes.

One Strip! One Strip! It IS a surprise for me, given that they were pretty adamant about not joining the Arrowverse :)

It might have been just some snowballing to hide the fact that it would be a thing someday.

One Strip! One Strip!I'm surprised for the same reason, though I guess better now than later with something less pressing. Either way I'm happy it's finally happening.
Little less armor, it seems.

All this superhero news reminds me I really need to hurry up and watch the back half of Arrow and Flash before the new seasons begin in a few weeks.
"But if that happened, Melia might actually be happy. We can't have that." - Handsome RobHe needs a shave.
Wake me up at your own risk.So is Season 3 gonna be the first season that won't air on Netflix? I can't find any infos, just about its regular CW airing.

For you and for me!
Black Lighting's back again!
Here's season three!
One Strip! One Strip!Enjoyed the premiere, though I really hate Odell's guts.
Also, great ripping the whole "Seperate children from their parents" stuff from the headlines.

You fell victim to one of the classic blunders!Eh. He's been the main villain of two seasons already. I'd be annoyed if he managed to get out since he'd already overstayed his welcome last season.
I'd like to think Tobias is on his way out, but there is the issue that he's one of Jefferson's most notable villains.
If he's gone, who else is there? Unless we see more Adaptational Villainy from some of the other Outsiders like what they did with Looker.
Then again, we have Markovia involved, so that might mean Geoforce...
But we just had him as a villain....at the end true, but still.
One Strip! One Strip!
One element I do like about this show is no one dies forever.
