If we're talking about who I think we are, then you should know I'm also a bonehead.
Wooze looks at Glass with a 'please take her away' lookOK, as you may have noticed I'm trying to wrap up the Haunted Gallery subplot. I need all players (except Mongrel's) to get out of there so this can happen. Please post about that ASAP.
I have an idea for Dynamo Lass' dad to get her a guest spot on Break Time with Buddy while hiring Ze Operator to attack the show so Dynamo Lass can beat him and look good in the process. Would that work for everyone involved?
Oh. That involves me. Never thought I'd actually use Buddy... this'll be interesting. I'm in!
Go for it!
Ok, but expect Operator to tell Dynamo to ad lib.
Also; attraction detected.

"I do not cling to life sufficiently to fear death."Alright! It'll start on the next day in-game.
The Halloween Plot is officially finished now. Just in time for Thanksgiving. Btw hope those of you who celebrated Turkey Day enjoyed it.
Head Count: In the coming days I'll be doing a census of which members are still currently active so I can write plots suited to them. So please post in this thread saying so. You have one week. (note: I will understand if you're on hiatus due to finals and such; just let me know about it so I won't assume you just vanished.)
Dynamo Lass is active, as is Ray Spaulding (who I assume I'm playing as due to his Status as his daughter's manager). Mindseye is still in a coma and in TALOS custody.
I'm attempting to stay in this as best as possible; I'm not sure on the status of Julian, but Xy is still in play if only currently as a secondary character. I suppose Julian's focus on schooling, being a college student and all, is probably interfering with her attempts at superhero/super-neutral shenanigans.
I'm active, if a little busy with my "other project". But all my characters should be good to go
Eris has another plan ;)...
Make your hearth shine through the darkest night; let it transform hate into kindness, evil into justice, and loneliness into love.I'm-a dick around with Vicky for a while before I bring back Amethyst.
Present but preoccupied.
"I treasure every day with you, darling." "No need to be so sappy, love." "You know that's how she is, Nia." - AU!Pyra, Nia, MythraHi everybody!
I'm new. Anything I should know before jumping in?
All are significantly abnormal in a normal world... All are significantly normal in an abnormal world.Welcome Izshta! And no, you're coming in at a good time since all the plot threads were tied up. Just keep an eye open for new ones and jump in where you feel your character fits in.
I forgot to mention my own characters I'm still playing as The Traveler, with Ultra Violet in reserve.

Oh, well that's convenient.
All are significantly abnormal in a normal world... All are significantly normal in an abnormal world.Hand bursts through ground
I live again! Sorry about the hiatus, but now that I'm actually in the same country as my computer, everything should be a lot smoother on my end. I hope Sijo took care of Eye well and didn't feed it too many evil fruits. My next post should be within a few days (although I'm hoping for minutes/hours), after I've actually gotten my schedule back together and caught up on everything.
On a more on-topic note, currently planning on digging out some Omnitech (I promise I'll actually submit some lore eventually, I have been working on it), probably NEXUS, since I feel like being proactive. Maybe Fracture if Gob says she's ready to do some tag team shenanigans.
Finally, hello people I haven't met or talked to yet! Due to the massive influx of characters, I expect to know nothing about your dudes until my dudes meet yours!
Operator is still online. Bored, but online.
"I do not cling to life sufficiently to fear death."Scythe is still alive, and accounted for. Warlock is still alive, persay, but still in a coma. And as for me, I'm still here :D
Wooze looks at Glass with a 'please take her away' lookHey Sijo, guess what I finally got around to writing.
Omniscience, Omnipotence, Omnipresence. Omnitech.
"Founded in 2004, Omnitech Industries is among the world's largest robotics manufacturers. Our mission is to allow the preservation of human life via utilisation of robotic proxies for many of our more dangerous day-to-day activities. However, that is not to say that we do not value our creations. As our heuristic algorithms grow and mature in design, they shall eventually approach a level of intelligence similar to that of human beings, and we aim to protect them on this path."
Omnitech Industries is a corporation that specialises in robotics research and manufacture, but has always been willing to contract on the bleeding edge of modern science. Founded by Alexander Lux 12 years ago, it was originally a small business in the corner of a bland office building somewhere in downtown Easton. However, the rapid development speed, as well as the high level of quality in the designs produced (although at the time they had no manufacturing capabilities) quickly attracted the eye of the government.
After military contracts for the government were ratified, Omnitech began setting up several new facilities for their myriad projects, which were generally hidden from public view lest prospective villains attempt to breach them (a few did find some of the laboratories, but Omnitech had several metas on the government payroll working as security at the time, so they didn't get far). Although some glances of doubt were cast their way at the sight of their budget allocation, they continued expanding their infrastructure and built a snazzy new corporate HQ tower in the downtown area. It is worth noting that at the time, the CEO's office was built underground for similar security reasons; having a hostage situation would lead to security breaches, and they couldn't have that.
So, with the remaining budget they had (which was frankly more than enough; government military spending is nothing to scoff at), they set to work on several new frontiers. Mass-produced war machines were a reasonably common aim for the bleeding edge of military science, but they still dabbled mostly in it, citing the company's "soft spot" for mechanical life. Although they had several 'grey tide' models that were designed to be sent in and promptly destroyed as cannon fodder, most of their machines were intended to be deployed in a manner similar to tanks before RP Gs were commonplace, where the enemy would either respond to them or die. Of course, although a few models are powerful enough to interest supers (such as the "N.E.X.U.S." Adaptive Metacombat Platform), what really interests villains are the superweapons.
Although rather hush-hush, Omnitech has worked on around 2 dozen "Projects" to date, 16 of which are in active development or currently deployed. The N.E.X.U.S. is technically one, although to reach the same level as the others would take several years of data-gathering. Project "H.E.L.I.O.S." (High-frequency Electromagnetic Lens Interdiction/Ordinance System) and Project "Ra" come to mind, the former being a Bond-esque WOMD focusing the sun's radiation onto a target, and the latter of which is a mass deployment system for autonomous combat drones.
Although the incident with Alexander Lux was a gaffe to say the least, Omnitech's efficiency in both research and business has been rapidly recovering over the last three years, prompting some to ask whether it's for the best that Lux was replaced.
Erm, more to come as I think of it, assuming I haven't already broken some unspoken word count. I tend to not notice the gaps in my ideas until I've looked over them a month or so later, and sorry for the wall of text.
We have no word limit (or minimum for that matter ) here. Though you should always finish on a summary for those who find walls of text TLDR.
And this fits nicely with some of my plans. So approved!
Basically my idea is that someone at Ekho Industries wants to steal the secrets of AI from Omnitech. This would be a good way to get all our hi-tech characters involved. Opinions?

How much does Omnitech know about Dr. Bates and his AI research?
FWIW I was hoping to have an Omnitech tactical AI or somesuch be a character that worked entirely through Omni proxies, so try not to devalue the mooks /too/ much. As a rule of thumb, they're Conservation of Ninjutsu incarnate, in that the more they deploy the cheaper the models are.
Also, the guy should have a mole, lest I point and laugh at him for stealing the secrets of AI from a company that officially only has dog-level intelligence in its machines. Otherwise, it'd be a great way to bring the company into the playing grounds with its new trademarked fast-deployment pacification units.
Good God! The puns, they burn!
