Personally, I'm hoping for the Chameleon. He is Kraven's half-brother after all. I'm curious as to how they'd handle him in a game like this.

Wraith is still my most hyped for villain.
I'll teach you a lesson about just how cruel the world can be. That's my job, as an adult. We got half a second of a like five pixel-wide thumbnail of Wraith in the Kraven cinematic and it's not enough. It at least implies that Wraith has already been going around causing trouble offscreen in between games, though.
I hope she gets a formal appearance in one of the later trailers.

"The difference between reality and fiction is that fiction has to make sense." - Tom Clancy, paraphrasing Mark Twain.Yeah but the DLC was all the set up I needed for her.
There's something beautifully tragic about Spidey going up against Yuri, especially if the symbiote is going to bring out his worse side.
I'll teach you a lesson about just how cruel the world can be. That's my job, as an adult.Regrading Harry, I think he'll abruptly show up near the start of the game, having seemingly been completely cured, which he'll attribute to some "experimental treatments". But not long after that, his condition will relapse and he'll be left dying as mentioned in the gameplay trailer, causing Peter to investigate things and discover the symbiote.
Ngl I'm really curious how their going to do this. With Harry having the symbiotie from the last game , spidey in blacksuit and venom appearing at the end.
"That's right mortal. By channeling my divine rage into power, I have forged a new instrument in which to destroy you."I think there are four options for who will be Venom and in any case I'm pretty sure Venom will be the Final Boss:
- Eddie Brock
- Harry Osborn
- Kraven
- No one, and the symbiote just becomes its own antagonist at some point
Personally I'd like to see what they'd do with Harry!Venom but I trust them to do something interesting with any of them
I feel like the natural final boss scenario would be Harry as Venom, and his death causes Norman to go Green Goblin for Spider-Man 3.
It's been 3000 years…Ironically, a reverse of the movie Spider-Man 3
Disney100 Marathon | DreamWorks MarathonWait, is this the first time Spidey has been infected by the symbiote in this continuity?
I'll teach you a lesson about just how cruel the world can be. That's my job, as an adult.Yup, just like the Goblins at this point. There's no mention of Venom or the symbiote in the first game and I highly doubt they'd skip on adapting the alien costume saga here in some capacity.
I suspect that, kind of like how Mister Negative was the main villain in the first half of the original game before Otto took over in the second half, Kraven will be the main threat for the first half of sequel before switching over to Venom. Then the stinger will set up the Goblins, like how the original game's stinger set up Venom.
What possible motive would Venom have for killing Spider-Man this time I wonder?
I'll teach you a lesson about just how cruel the world can be. That's my job, as an adult.Depends on who it is. If it's Eddie then it's probably some version of "develops an antagonistic relationship with Peter and then bonds with the symbiote" (sidebar, I dont think Eddie would be an Spectacular-style childhood friend because that would have come up in the first game). Kraven, probably fallout from the first half of the game. Harry, probably something related to his illness. Don't know who else could be potential hosts for the symbiote.
You think Eddie will appear ? I thought harry would absorb his role like it was in ultimate spider man. (Though I'm hoping flash still shows up for agent venom)
"That's right mortal. By channeling my divine rage into power, I have forged a new instrument in which to destroy you."Harry becoming Venom I would prefer but since Eddie apparently exists in this continuity I don't think the possibility can be ruled out
While Harry being Venom is possible, I think I would prefer it if they used Eddie Brock as the true Venom host.
Funny thought: If Eddie is Venom, it would be hilarious if they played him up as an Unknown Rival, kind of like how it was in the comics. Eddie reveals himself as Venom and yells at Peter about how he ruined his life while Peter, who only barely remembers Eddie from his time at the Daily Bugle, has no idea what he's talking about. Then the game flashes back to earlier action scenes showing that Eddie was there with his life being inadvertently ruined by Peter and Miles' superhero escapades.
Bonus points if Eddie rants about how his good friend Peter still had his back.
I'll teach you a lesson about just how cruel the world can be. That's my job, as an adult. That would be unlikely.
Bonding with the Symbiote would automatically give Eddie knowledge of Peter and Spiderman being the same. That's pretty much how it's gone in every continuity.
One Strip! One Strip!Eddie in this continuity is just a garbage truck receptionist iirc... they would have to do a lot to make him a meaningful villain tbh.
That’s another Eddie. The one who runs the pizza place, not Eddie Brock.
Well we know Eddie and Peter are on decent terms.

Leaving Eddie to become Venom for the spin-off

"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."Or Flash?
But yeah I also think that's what will happen. To set up Norman's full turn into the green goblin
"That's right mortal. By channeling my divine rage into power, I have forged a new instrument in which to destroy you."We see Tombstone in Kraven’s list of targets, so he’s coming back apparently (unless Kraven gets him offscreen).
He was fun the first time, so I love that. Maybe this time we’ll also even see his daughter, who should really make more adaptation appearances.

I hope we get some Sandman in this game. He's my favorite Spider-Man villain, and I'd be really interested to see the dynamic this version of Peter - who always tries to reach out to and understand his enemies - might have with a villain like Flint who himself has a lot of kind and heroic traits yet chooses to continue a life of crime.
