for everyone headed upstairs to floor 3: i see you, just been real busy and am only now getting lunch. let me make sure i'm fed and i'll get you all set up.

as it might have been mentioned i am fairly busy today and tomorrow so things are a little slow.

for anyone wondering; i am waiting for people to get to floor 3 before i post an update.

also considering a slight timeskip in a little over a week's time that's mostly cosmetic and would lead into the first inklings of actual plot. if anyone has any objections to the idea, now's the time to voice them.

Has anyone started a tropes page for the reboot? If so, would anyone like for me to start one? Or would you guys say it's still too early?

all right, this is important;

GM ANNOUNCEMENT

as far as i can tell, people seem to be getting into the swig of things somewhat nicely, and i've mentioned it before but i'd like to implement a slight timeskip of about two weeks in-universe so things get settled in and i can run a little something something as far as plotstuff goes.

regarding that, i'd like to know what people think about that, any objections they might have, and, if totally cool with the idea, what their characters would do in those two weeks; this way i can flesh the surrounding area out well as character knowledge and then set the tone for things.

additionally, note that in that particular vein, that there are more areas on the Stiltsworth Mansion grounds to explore that are outside the building yourself; ada saw the paths to these earlier, and it hasn't come out of nowhere.

anyway, i'd be happy to write that up as things go along and people respond, and would, ideally, have it prepared in 24 hours at the latest.

well, we need to establish connections then.

Joanna is still outside, though. I can probably go ahead and move her little event along, lest she spend two weeks in those bushes and still not have interacted with anyone.

I was thinking of having Mikaela scout the perimeter for safety. Would that help?

we're working on a slightly bigger scale than that, konk, seeing as there's the mansion and then the nearest town, but yes, that would help and i'll make sure to detail it all out, as i assume that she would be thorough with her investigation, yes?

That sounds good, Konk. Maybe Joanna could think of making her move while Konk is out searching, something like that.

No, that's it. Mikaela goes out to scout the area, Joanna decides to make her move (either knowing or not knowing Mikaela was out there), and then she finds her. That should be all it amounts to.

mansion layout is now posted in the op for player convenience.

Any particular details anyone want to work out before we jump into this? About the money in the mansion, I think our peeps should have been able to find the money in two weeks' time, but if anyone thinks otherwise, maybe we can all try and reach a consensus.
