Is it worth it to grail gold Servants? A few people elsewhere have said it is better to got with the lower tier Servants.

Apparently Gold Servants have higher potential for increased damage and health so it’s actually reccomended to Grail the 5*

You can Grail 4*, which at level 100 gets you the equivalent of 90 leveled 5* so 100 leveled 5* are superior gameplay wise

Which is fine, but a 5-star needs 5 grails to get to 100, while a 4-star needs only 2 to get to 90. For me it's more cost-effective to use it on 4-stars. FOR THE KURO LOLI!

Kakuzan: Any given rarity of Servant at 100 will generally be about as strong as the next tier at their normal maximum. So an SR at 100 is about as powerful as an SSR at 90 and a R at 100 is about as strong as an SR at 80. The relative gains they get are superior to what a higher tier Servant gets but the absolute gain is inferior.

As such, in terms of gameplay, unless it's a very good SR then you'd basically always be better off grailing an SSR, unless it's someone like Scheherazade.

SCM: Sure, but Kuro's stats at 90 are not as high as an SSR at 90. To get matching stats you'd need seven grails. Her kit is really good, though.

Anyway, Fran isn't one of my top top favorites but she's cute and I like how she's way smarter than you'd think of someone that can barely speak.

Camelot 2 banner for NA and 1/2 AP off all free quests for NA for those people who really need chains/medals

Man, we haven't had half AP free quests in forever on JP. For all I know that was the last one for us too!

The half-off ember gatherings have been very good to me. I think I've solved my Camelot problem of not having enough high level Servants. I have at least two of each class at 80+, except for Ruler and Avenger.

Yes, but one SSR at 100 versus 2 SR at 90 and one at 85, all at the cost of 5 grails. While theoretically the SSR would hit harder, realistically even if you do get enough cards for an extra attack, there's no guarantee it'll be for your SSR.

^^ Yeah, but you can only have three Servants in your front line and one of them will probably be from friend support. And often it's better to have two support Servants for one attacker rather than two attackers and one support. So make one Servant as strong as possible rather than halfassing two second raters. If you don't get the right card draw you use that time to help set up for your attacker by, for example, getting out Waver/Merlin/Tamamo's NP or building an Arts chain or whatever.

Or better yet, since there's like thirty grails possible at this point go ahead and work on all your SSR favorites! If you roll them, obviously.

I have been farming so much these past few days cause of this game on the phone & Warframe on my console.

I want the anniversary way more than Lostbelt 2 right now. Although I admit the 30-40 Quartz~ from Stream + Maint + Quests will be nice.

I've got 3-4 Servants to level, plus I want to stock up on Gold XP so I can do some grailing.

This grail talk made me realize I have a lot of surplus grails, while I only need to keep 5 around in case I roll Illya in the future.

And its been I think a bit under 2 years since I last used one, so I've gotten lots of servants since then.

Oh yeah anniversary is probably gonna have EOR memorial quests now that's done

Phenex will be way less annoying to fight now that I have Jalter

I tossed some SQ at the 1st anniversary rate up while it's on America, and came away with Lion Edison, Helena, and Rama.

I assume this means I will get absolutely nothing from the Camelot 2 and Chaldea Summer banners, but honestly I wanted Rama more than anything from those so hey.

Was reading this and this bit quoted below caught my attention because it got me thinking about Raikou's inner conflict with Ushi-Gozen and how she tried to terminate her demonic side by getting Ushi-Gozen to incarnate but it ended up backfiring against her.
