Hm, I thought it was the Dead Apostle Aylesbury Ritual? Unless Nasu backtracked, the suggestion was that it was something that wasn't supposed to happen until later happening in the 70's instead. Which, since it was in the 10th anniversary Q&A, would've precluded GO related stuff by a loooong time.
Yeah side materials if I remember right relating to Last Encore reveal the Marisburys were involved in the ritual along with an unnamed individual

Not that this necessarily changes what the ritual was. Since the thing is just... ambiguous. The Aylesbury stuff involves the oldest Dead Apostles and has as its goal resurrecting the original one? But how it does that, what it takes, or what else might be involved are all... vague. Nasu go back to Tsukihime, please.
Ah, here's the wording:
A: Gonna leak you some info. It is the "what if scenario" caused by a "certain ritual" that occurred in the 1970's. This ritual is not expected to happen until the year 20XX.

That makes far more sense. I was confused for a second. Like, why were the Marisbury doing something totally disconnected from their junk?
Sidenote about LB 3, I don't know if it's because he got overshadowed by the Yu reveal but I straight up NEVER heard that Xiang Yu was always a robot regardless of timeline until I played this chapter. I always assumed he was a modified human.

Shlugo: Why would Mordred rebel if she got the thing she wanted? She's a pretty simple and loyal person once you're earned it. Artoria's reign was doomed to failure for reasons beyond her control, but the specific reason for its failure would have changed. Maybe one of Morgan's other schemes pans out, maybe the island gets eaten by a dragon, who knows.
Nouct: I don't exactly remember that but my guess is I didn't feel the timeline worked because a couple hundred years from Xiang Yu Nezha is still alive and meets Xuanzang.

I'm not sure if disappointed is the word I'd use, but there'll definitely be an abundance of mixed feelings
Edit: okay, the Xiang Yu fight is annoying as hell. He keeps targeting people to crit and it's a pain in the ass since I can't use stun yet (Master skill still sealed) and I can't waste my invul when his NP is going to charge on the very next turn

That sounds nothing like Mordred at all. Then again, you also said Artoria did nothing wrong, so this just sounds like shifting the blame in order to make Artoria come across as innocent.
Ya know, looking at Xiang Yu's stats, I actually noticed something. He doesn't have Madness Enhancement. Yeah, he doesn't. Instead, he has his own unique skill: Becoming Evil, and it's ranked A+. I'm guessing it's tied into his initially inhuman nature along with his foresight making it look like he's doing evil things when really he's like an Absol and just trying to avert disasters. Vegeta: I'm back bitches!

Mordred literally says that she never wanted the throne, just Artoria's acknowledgement. There's no reason to assume that she'd want anything else beyond that, so I don't know where this "She'd always want more" even comes from.
It's so fucking over the top that I can't help love it; this guy has been nothing but The High King for the entire story arc, and now near the end, he's like "Aight, time to throw hands".
