The best thing about d'Eon's various ascensions is they all have the Nice Hat.
Avatar SourceThe hat is very nice, yes
I absolutely cannot help but adore handsome 2D boysD'Eon looks beautiful and I'll fight anyone who says otherwise.
Penny was actually pretty popular right from the start. And Schez is actually a decent Caster now cause she can loop.
Sorry Falcon, I'm not reading the spoilered stuff yet, so just quick comments.
d'Eon is a man? I guess I missed that bit.
So far Fergus is very much not that. What he is, is boring and repetitive Captain Obvious.
D'Eon was my first Saber and with me ever since the start of my journey through FGO.
Praise be to the beautiful Lily Saber of France!

d'Eon is seen as either male or female. Either He/She/They are used.
d'Eon was someone who presented as female for a big portion of her life, so it's popular to interpret her as trans.
like there were contemporary political cartoons commenting on d'eon◊ and the big debate over d'eon's gender.
And the problem is, of course, the way Agartha approaches this is "lol traps".
Avatar SourceHmm, haven't noticed that so far. Maybe my mind is just skimming through the text, because all this time I though d'Eon was just a girl.
So far the most annoying thing are Astolfo creepy comments, some of which are just straight up harassment. I don't remember him being like that in Apocrypha.
D'Eon in life is a ???, but implicitly mtf trans, and as a Servant they can switch between sexes and alter their appearance in minor ways. They do not mind being called either and I personally consider him male. That's all well and good, but it tends to get played for fetishism by many fans and, in Agartha, an actual official writer in a fairly crude manner.
@Shlugo, D'Eon's interlude goes in depth on the matter if you're curious about it (actually idk if you ever got d'Eon from the gacha but still)
I recall reading somewhere that Nasuverse d'Eon is whatever they want to be at the moment. They have a high-level Self-Suggestion skill that "even changes the body" to reflect the gender they wish to appear as.
Nah, never got her. I'd probably know this stuff if I did. I think it's not conveyed well in this Singularity.
D'Eon is a Servant.
And considering everything we have seen in regards to their vessels and how they change in contrast to the actual person they are based on, an ability to "shift genders on demand" isn't that outlandish to imagine D'Eon to have.

x6 Is that directed at me?
As for what d'Eon is, just look at that Bond CE. They generally give an idea what someone's priorities are.

Avatar SourceFergus and Scheherazade really seem to be hitting it off. Their scenes together have so much Author Appeal in them I expect Scheherazade to go Ara Ara at some point.

oh yeah, how could I forget the most important thing about D'Eon, they both receive and give chocolate for valentine's, so you get two different Valentine's CEs from them like with da Vinci/Enkidu/Astolfo/QSH
Rider is such an inspirational speech generator.
He knows how to make people never give up, never surrender.
Never let them down and abandon them.
(Just realized something incredibly dumb and silly and can't leave it alone...)
Here is a question for you all.
"Rider of the Resistance...or Donald Trump?"
(I will leave the context up to all of your imagination for this one...)
(Listening to the Epic Rap Battles-intro in the meantime...)
...
I know, and it is not about it either.
Just curious how a meeting between these two would go if they ever met...
(This is a incredibly dumb and silly idea after all, what else to expect it to be but dumb and silly?)

This isn't a politics thread.
Avatar SourceHoly cow, can people stop bringing American politics into literally everything?!
I feel like her brief moment of conflict in the face of doing the right thing was nice, as well as her slight admiration of Astolfo.
Now if only this wasn't the same chapter that thought saying "D'Eon is D'Eon" somehow erases Mash having us oogle at her chest so that we can try and "guess" what her gender is (oh God...) despite Mash also saying D'Eon herself wouldn't answer if she was asked.
