It should be noted that Chacha qualifies under Avenger given her circumstances, but doesn't want to and opts for the Berserker class.
Nobukatsu staged a failed coup and that's about all history remembers from him.
Surely you've heard about some stories related to Totoyomi Hideyoshi and Tokukawa Ieyasu.

A lazy millennial who's good at what he does.It feels weird when a demon god pillar have earned genuine sympathy from me, especially considering that Andras just wanted what everyone on this planet wants every day.
To live our lives at peace for as long as possible, at the best of our ability.
Not to mention that it was nice enough to give a pep-speech to Hijikata and get him to pursue another future while calmly accepting the end of its own.
Makes me wish that Chacha had kept it around (maybe as a tiny pet-familiar or something similar, or even as an ornament on her person) rather than just completely throw it away.
But at least it took its death with dignity.
The final challenge quest was way easier than Andras, especially when the damage bonus C Es gets involved...
Just have to swipe the shop clean and I will be done, having finished both point-ladders a couple of days before the final fight concluded.

Pfft, of course I've heard about Hideyoshi. Big guy, punched the sea away once.
Ieyasu was... yellow.
Ok, so maybe most of what I remember about Sengoku Period comes from Sengoku Basara. >_>
Hideyoshi is the guy who got his shit kicked in by Admiral Yi in Korea.
that's the best way to learn about the warring states period tbh.
....You ever notice how Nobu is the center of almost every Guda event.
A lazy millennial who's good at what he does.Nobunaga was famous. Nobukatsu (or rather, Nobuyuki, Nobunaga's brother) tried and failed to overthrow him.
Nobunaga was a very compelling man, and as you can see, makes for a very three-dimensional and popular character in fiction even five hundred years later.
It's been fun.Couldn't agree more. Sengoku Basara is awesome.
Sengoku period is really interesting, because pretty much everything most people associate with historical Japan comes from that period. For good reason too.
Isn't it because those were conceived as "Nobu and Okita" events from the start?

Yes. The first was just parody. Not much with story. Which pretty much a lot with early events.
@Muffins: He was a very interesting fellow. From what we can tell, he respected the women in his life, for one. He granted a samurai position to Yasuke, an African slave he freed, and he seems to have had a pretty good sense of humor. He had big dreams for the country... that also involved killing a lot of people, betraying his brother-in-law, and executing his young nephew, among many other things he did.
He's one of the most interesting figures of the Sengoku Period, with a lot of different sides and a lot of layers.
Now Hideyoshi I'm not a fan of. But Nioh 2 actually succeeded in making me like him a bit more, even if it's generally pretty fast and loose with... basically everything about history.
It's been fun.I suppose one can see that between the two, the Gudaguda events lean towards Nobunaga more
- The first even's final boss was an evil clone of Nobunaga or something like that
- Second event has both Nobukatsu and Chacha in contrast to just Hijikata
- Third event spread things out since it was focused more on Fate/Koha-Ace as a whole, but it did feature Okita Alter but also Akechi as the instigator of the event.
- Fourth event is all Nobunaga all the time. So yeah
- Oh yeah, let's not forget all of the Mini Nobus.
I mean, she did blow up that Grail and spread her essence into the FGO timeline so that checks out I guess
Fair, it's just that the last post sounded a bit sarcastic.
Well, from what little I know about Nobunaga he seemed to be the most progressive of the three unifiers, he just had the bad luck of getting on the shit list of the dominant religion of Japan.
The burning of an entire village notwithstanding.
Of the three I dislike Tokugawa more, but I'm man enough to admit a lot of it has to with bias, he and his descendents not treating Christian all that well.
@ Muffins
I'll admit I'm with you on that one Muffins, in fact that's part of the reason why I don't have much fondness for Shimosa beyond its superb characterization.
Instead of focusing on relatives that divide us, maybe we should try to find the absolutes that tie us.Must be nice to know the history behind Nobu like that...
(Never read that part of history myself)
Any good place (besides Wikipedia) to catch up on that?
Thanks Sengoku Basara
A lazy millennial who's good at what he does.Try e resources from local library system.
If you’re in college, even better to use school library.
Though I imagine the facilities aren’t open to the public now (assuming you’re in US)
If nothing else, try taking a look at wikipedia's sources because there's at least one academic book or source being cited which should go more in-depth on the thing.
Thing about Abigail's skill line
Speaking of Nobunaga, here's an Oda family meme.
On average, people know who Nobunaga is if you watched enough Japanese media. Now watching one that doesn't go full Demon King is another deal.
F for Nobukatsu
Here's to hoping Gudaguda 5 is centered on Okita and the Shinsengumi. Seriously, the Oda Clan has 6 representatives appear not counting variations: Nobunaga, Chacha, Nageyoshi, Katsuie, Nobukatsu, and Mitsuhide.
The Shinsengumi meanwhile have two reps, Okita and Hijikata, three if you count [Alter] as her own character rather than a variation... which frankly she pretty much is since the entire reason she's an Alter Ego is because she's so divorced from normal Okita, but she also doesn't see herself as Shinsengumi anymore so net even I guess. And as my call to arms demonstrated, the Shinsengumi had a lot of Captains, and one of Okita's Noble Phantasms that all Shinsengumi Servants possess, Flag of Sincerity, allows her to summon forth other members of the Shinsengumi that already exist as Servants, and its confirmed that Kondo Isami would answer her call.
So give us some more Shinsengumi Servants DW! And give us Nobukatsu, Katsuie, and Mitsuhide while you're at it!

Vegeta: I'm back bitches!I thought Hijikata were the embodiment of the entire Shinsengumi (aka "all its members united in one body" kind of deal), due to the other members not being "noteworthy" enough to manifest as heroic spirits on their own (or at most, as "phantom spirits" when in a group), using Hijikata as a medium to gain a solid form through the organizations fame through history and as a face to rally within.
A literal "one-man-army", so to speak, with Okita as its captain and individual person to follow.

No, Hijikata's interlude reveals that other Shinsengumi members do exist as their own distinct entities not tethered to either Shinsengumi Servant in any way in some form.
also Hijikata's mats list Kondō in his relationship
Weird how it seemed the reverse is true to me. Most of the works about Sengoku Period - at least the ones I've seen - don't seem terribly interested in anything after Nobunaga fall, which might be why.
