Sheba rematch: I completely forgot everything about this fight so it just came down to Ozy/Waver/Merlin/some rando support Skadi because *shrug*/Mashu/Tamamo

What happened was I just kinda decided to ignore the loan gimmick and brute force my way (namely just keep using Ozy and completely ignore her minions) which worked despite everyone but Skadi and Tamamo dying because Sheba didn't actually use any of her super buffs so yay

MHXA rematch: Went with Abigail/Merlin/support Jeanne/Tamamo/Mashu/Waver (because trying to find QSH during an event is absolute hell)

Save Scumming promptly ensued, my big screwups were letting MHXA get the buff dispel ability and wasting a CS on Abigail's NP because I panicked when it came to the door. I probably could've beaten it faster if I focused on getting rid of MHXA's first bar instead of her snacks. But the stallers got the job done so.

Guys, Remember when I was lamenting the fact that gacha didn't gave me anything past 4* servants during the class summoning? Well, the gacha decided to switch the tsun for dere and now Jackie has finally come home.

Threw a yolo ten-roll on the event banner since I wanted to see if I could get Dangerous Beast once more, ended up getting that and NP2 Cleo. I stg this game messes with me sometimes, especially after all the trouble I'd just gone through trying to just get Lartoria to NP2 and Salter and Lalter to NP5.

goddammit my lack of just one point off from cramming in Waver's bond CE is severely gimping my attempts at clearing the Jaguar CQ

and that Chen Gong won't let get himself offed to make space for the other supports

Does anyone know when Fate/strange Fake is going to end? I want more strange fake Servants already! Or Fate Requiem Servants, those would be good too.

I'm going to have to give up on the Jaguar quest for now because Taiga's too annoying.

But Arjuna Alter basically snapped the Gil Gauntlet in half and I didn't even have to use any CS, with support Jeanne and Merlin as his cheerleaders. The only close call was when Medusa Lily started inflicting buff denial on everyone and Jeanne wasn't able to put up her NP to clear it and deal with Nero Bride's NP, but luckily I could waste Merlin's Illusion to get rid of the buff denial.

Secondly, no. I don't think even the author is all too sure how many more volumes it'll take to finish the story, his health problems forcing him to go on hiatus certainly not helping.

Fair enough, though at least Archer Herakles can show up before strange fake is done.

@raziel: I don't think the engine is the problem, it's the DRM and tricking the servers.

The only hope you have is that Narita actually kills one of them off.

Which means that you are waiting a long time.

So the first new CQ is Bride/Fionn/Napoleon and it's an interesting twist on the usual double support/attacker party that players use as they serve those roles via special buffs, Napoleon is the attacker at first with Bride and Fionn as the supports, but the role will switch when one of them is NP sealed/stunned/killed/bar broken.

In a token gesture at supports having piddling damage, those in support roles have a massive NP debuff so their NP is survivable. But also they have a special defense buff (note this isn't entirely a dealbreaker the same it is with the Jaguars, it's totally doable to just focus on the supports and kill them, it just takes more time) and will give one free NP bar to whoever they want.

Napoleon's bar breaking -> all defensive buffs are removed on that turn, Fionn's bar breaking -> everyone get his chance-based dodge buff, Bride's bar breaking -> everyone gets a special burn inflict buff.

Fionn's rng dodges gives it a tinge of Fake Difficulty to this as if they knew that brute forcing this was doable and decided that they needed to make it even more rng.

Based on a few trial runs, Arjuna Alter and Merlin are definitely slotted in the party but I can't decide who should be run in the third position on the frontline as it boils down to:

• Holmes (for evade pierce against Fionn's BS)
• Tamamo (because Merlin can't quite keep up the NP spam and needs another healer, plus cooldown for invul)
• A taunter like QSH or Mashu (so they won't instantly focus fire on Merlin or Arjuna)
• Waver (More buffs to supercharge Arjuna and use his NP first turn)

What about Suzuka? Her third skill gives her sure hit for three turns and with the NP charge it gives you could at least release two N Ps with sure hit.

So when will the next EOR come out in NA and are there any servants you looking forward for? My are Tomoe and Hozoin.

Arjuna got his Alter with a major role in the following Lostbelt. Musashi got her 5* Summer, also with a major role in the event. Nightingale got nothing.
