Deku being a Badass Normal is what the concept was originally, but then the author changed his mind. Which is disappointing initially, good in hindsight. It would be getting increasingly harder to depict actual fight that didn't get bullshit.
Because its impossible to depict a fight between somebody with no powers and somebody with superpowers?Really?
I'm not the nicest bloke you've ever met, but I do me best.A lot of stuff would have to be changed to fit him being powerless but they were all really great so I would prefer him to keep his earned powers then having no powers.
Besides I believe eventually considering OFA's nature he might temporarily lose it at some point & he'll have to fight powerlessly.
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."He doesn't active his powers by saying "Smash" I don't think. It seems like the usual shounen thing, which is just calling your attack. I don't even think All Might always calls his attacks when he fights but instead just does it when he feels like it for awesome or humorous effect.
"That's a to-go order. See! It's already gone!!"http://bokunoheroacademia.wikia.com/wiki/One_For_All
According to All Might, to activate One For All, the user must scream: "SMASH!"
I'm not the nicest bloke you've ever met, but I do me best.Wikis are probably not a very reliable source of information. There's a reason academic institutes frown upon citing information from Wikipedia.
There's been a few times All Might hasn't said "Smash", I believe, though he almost always does.
Give the God Eater game thread some love!x5 Not impossible, but it would be getting harder to make it believable and non-bullshit.
x2 That is false, there has been moments in the manga where he used Of A without shouting.

Its more for inspiration. Like the power of words. Shouting things make it more energetic & strong.
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."x4The next episode will disprove that though so I don't know why someone on the Wiki put that in. Knowing All Might, he probably told Deku to do that so screaming "smash" would give him the momentum to use the quirk.
I got ninja'd quite well there.

"That's a to-go order. See! It's already gone!!"Heh yeah.
I mean All Might doesn't shout when he's bulked up as he's always using OFA when bulky. I believe the scream from your asshole advice advice is to give Deku some indication of how the quirk feels. Due to never having a quirk of course he have no idea how the power feels or how its activated so the advice is to help him get a grip on how it feels since eventually he'll have to get used to it like its second nature to him.
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."About the quirk: All Might tells Deku that he has to "scream SMASH! in his heart". They usually scream it with their mouths too but it's not required, I think.
Because, again there have never been any superheroes without superpowers, and they have never fought any people with superpowers.Like in history. It has never been done.If your doing a manga about superheroes,at least do some research.
Suppose the wiki is wrong and you are right?Go edit the wiki then.
I'm not the nicest bloke you've ever met, but I do me best. Its how the mangeka wants to this write story. No use talking about what could have been especially since the current result is pretty good really.
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."x4 And let's be honest, All Might loves to show off. It's in the best sort of way though, he really enjoys playing up the hero effect to the highest level. What's a better way to show off his power then to give it names and yell it out?

"That's a to-go order. See! It's already gone!!"Well,if you never watched another shounen in your life...
I'm not the nicest bloke you've ever met, but I do me best.Huh what do you mean by that?
Well there are some exceptions like Gintama. Isn't Gintoki in his 20's?

"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."Assuming you can't enjoy Boku no Hero Academia if you watch other shounen anime. That makes total sense since all shounen is about a boy superhero.

"That's a to-go order. See! It's already gone!!"With a looser definition of superhero,you are not that wrong.
I'm not the nicest bloke you've ever met, but I do me best. Also aren't Toriko's protags young adults?
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."Okay, sorry, have to interject here. "Boy" isn't necessarily correct either - shounen is a target demographic, not a genre. There are shounen series with female leads. See: Medaka Box for the first one that comes to mind.
And let's not forget the many non-combat shounen series. Straighten Up, for example.

Could you put that in a memo and title it s... we already know?
You cant deny its similarity to titles like Naruto,One Piece or Hunter X Hunter.
I'm not the nicest bloke you've ever met, but I do me best.Well yeah I mean a lot of shonens are pretty similar to each other at the start but the execution is what matters & helps differentiate it. I mean you can't really compare Hunter x Hunter to a lot of shonen at this point.
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."Yes, shounen is a demographic, but battle/action shounen is a genre, which MHA, Naruto, Hx H, Bleach, Magi, and countless others all belong to.

I always had a problem with people defining shounen as just an action anime when it's a broader term spanning many types of series, heck I've probably seen more shounen that are just comedy and romance. But I guess in the usual action shounen area that Hero Academia applies to it isn't overly unique. Maybe it does a lot of what other shounen action series do, but it does it in a different setting, a superhero comic book type setting which is rarely ever seen. I think that's why people like it. There's also plenty of things the anime subverts thanks to its setting.
"That's a to-go order. See! It's already gone!!"
I said similar. And he does activate it by saying S...mash.
