Wasn't it the same guy in the manga but it was just that he was just a name?
I really can't recall if there even was a character like this in the manga. I'll check tomorrow. Right now I'm too tired to even watch the new episode.
Episode 16:
Mayura cheers up Benio and Rokuro, That was nice. It's good that Mayura actually adds something to the story. She's a really supportive friend.
And then she gets corrupted. Ouch.
As much as Seigen is a jerk, I pitied him when he resigned himself to exorcising his own daughter. That's just horrible.
Thankfully Resonance comes to save the day and allows the Twin Stars to pull out an ultimate spell and save Mayura.
...,And then Yuuto shows up. Oh Yuuto how I hate thee.
Somehow I knew Mayura was gonna live. She might even get her wish to become part of the group. I mean Rokuro's probably part Kegare so Mayura could become like him.
Kind of loses something in the anime when Mayura gets corrupted, because they've already spoiled the truth of Yuuto and the Hinatsuki tragedy.
Yeah, so far the shuffling the events around has been to the anime demerit.
Speaking of the source material, a new chapter went up today.
I still don't understand why they shuffled the events, it just doesn't make sense .-.
As one who hasn't read the manga, I haven't been able to tell things have been shuffled.
Pacing seems good and buildup has been fine from my perspective.
o-o Studio Pierrot, Naruto/Bleach anime? Never forget that horrifyingness xD
Anyway, yeah, this anime is horrible adaption :'D
Oh yeah, and it's a pretty big development too.
Episode:
So Seigen isn't as much of a jerk as he seemed. Yuuto on the other hand - yeah that guy is horrible.
Uh, they really butchered the shit out of that last scene. Well, maybe they fix it in the next episode, because otherwise... ugh.
Finally the big battle is coming... after some training that is.
The worst thing about the episode was how pathetic Seigen and Yuto's fight was. Didn't make them look cool, or threatening. Yuto came off as stronger just because he's the main antagonist and he's allowed to play the overpowered card. (Fresh off reading some World Trigger so I might be a teeny bit biased)
But at least it was heartwarming. Seigen is just a big ol' softy.
Episode:
Whew, that was a pretty good episode, even though they missed the funniest moment at the beginning. I love the interactions between Benio and Rokuro, you can really see how far they've came since their first meeting. When they start arguing and then just burst out laughing was great.
Using resonance to power themselves up is a smart tactic. And as a bonus they get to hold hands. Lewd.
Them confronting Yuuto at the end was badass. Can't wait for the next episode. From the preview I can see the single coolest thing yet is about to happen.
Episode:
Yuuto is so perfectly despicable. Most villains have something sympathetic or cool about them, but he is 100% pure unadulterated shit.
I feel like the animation got better. The fight looked good.
Kamui is pretty fun character for a man eating monster. Interesting philosophy he has.
Hot damn, Benio got dem legs. They really look beautiful, and are ready to kick Yuuto's sorry ass.
Let me nitpick: I wanted cool demonic legs for Benio, not flowery stockings.
I won't spoil but there's a reason why her legs are different. It's not just stylistic choice to have them pretty.
Episode 20:
It was so satysfing to see Yuuto literaly get his face kicked in, repedatly. Shame he got away easy when Benio got struck with Diabolus ex Machina.
And speaking of ex machina, in case you are wondering, no the end of the fight didn't make any more sense in the manga. Rokuro just goes super sayian out of nowhere and later the gosts show up and it's all pretty weird.
Not that they didn't cut some things out, but they didn't clear up anything, but created more questions.
...
Everything post fight is excellent, with Rokuro and Benio confronting the Guardians and telling them they won't just throw the problems on their child, and the festival scene which was amazing and adorable.
Well, this episode was great and a good end for the first part of the story. I'm glad that it's 50 episodes and we are getting the next one in a week.
They changed the fight in the anime right?
Weird changes they made.
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."Yeah, Rokuro was in his glowing form the whole way through in the manga and they cut that weird thing that showed up right before he transformed
The first change is weird and meaningless and the second might come to bite them in the ass in the future.
Can't help but wonder what the hell they're going to do about the reveals later when they've cut out the parts that were supposed to be in the Yuuto fight climax. Like, it's really really important when it shows up again.
New episode out!
Time skip! Everyone looks pretty good aged up.
Don't tell me that's the Miko... Could be a Basara though.
So they skipped the actual training, which was pretty cool, and we instead get... whatever this is.
At least it advances the relationship between Rokuro and Benio, which is good and Sae is pretty cute. Not sure what they are supposed to learn from taking care of her.
Also, this will probably turn out badly.
I just don't get why they are adding filler and then cutting scenes .-. Seriously, why
It already baffles me when they reorder events, but this is even more baffling to me
Episode:
Ryo gets a girlfriend, which is quite nice. It must suck when your younger brother has more success with women than you.
Meanwhile Fushihara gets corrupted and dies?! honestly didn't expect this to happen to a recurring character.
Also, nice to see that Seigen is still as much of dick as always.
