Crazy cat people, unite!

Or so I'd have her believe. ;)

I hope it is ok that I am bumping this. Dusty is four years old now, hard to believe since I still think of her as a kitten.

Our cat is 9 but he is still our good baby boy.

I am going to bump this again because...

• There is a new update with new cats for Neko Atsume, and the new rare cat may be my favorite cat ever! She is a black cat with green eyes, wearing a witch hat and cape, and her name is Hermeowne! I love her so much!

• I have been petsitting my dad's cat when he's out of town, so sometimes there are TWO cats in my apartment and I feel more like a real Crazy Cat Lady! His cat is a little black kitty named Jinx, and she is the snuggliest kitty ever. Yes even snugglier than Dusty.

• And, as usual, Dusty is adorable. But what else is new? :3

Does anyone else have any kitty news (mews?)

Latest breaking cat mews; our resident Good Old Baby Boy might beg for food when he just wants attention or is bored. We love him, but he is a fatass.

Awww. It's hard to resist when they beg, isn't it?

Yes, but he is overweight, and that might be because we fell for his over begging.

Doesn't help the smol ket is a nibbler and if given the cahcne, big ket will eat her food too!

Somehow, he is still the "good boi" out of the two, while she's the hyper naughty girl.

Aww.

You just need to get him to beg for something with no calories. Like chin scritches or something.

sadly, knowing cats, I don't think that'd work. It'd be cute though.

I swear he pouts if you ignore his begging. And he sometimes begs only like 2 hours after finishing his food.

He will lie down on the couch and try to bury his face between the backrest and bottom.

That sounds really cute. :o

The best noise in the world is either a ket doing a purr or a ket letting out a mew. This is a fact.

Mew to immidiate purr true combo, too powerful.

Or when they're purring so hard and so loudly that a lil mew comes out.

Dusty does that a lot, and it is super adorable.

YES, it is so pure when kets do that just awwwww.

Purring is really amazing though.

Dusty purrs a lot. Like I just touch her and she does the slow-blink and starts purring. It's adorable. She is a very lovey lil baby.

D'awww. I have a ket that will plop on my lap (when I'm busy with something :v) and will instantly purr. Kets are so purre.

They are the best. Even when they are getting into mischief and making messes (like the time I came home to find Dusty'd found a way to a high shelf and managed to strew cotton balls all over my room) they are the purest lil things.

I've probably mentioned it before, but Eddie purrs silently. Like, you can feel the rumble, but you can almost never hear the noise. He also has the deepest meow I've ever heard. He's weird.

Lol, big ket sounds like Dusty. HUGE purrs, she still has kitten mews.

They're loud and kinda high pitched just like she did when she was a baby.

I love kitten mews.


Also, it is very cliche but my kets l o v e boxes. They love boxes more than their actual ket beds and toys. For some reason they think that like, they are invisible in the boxes. Such pure smols.

Still don't get cats and their fascination with boxes.

But they probably don't get us and our fascination with screens.

Eddie loves boxes. If one is lying around, he will sit in it. He will also sit on any bag he can find.

He used to shred the furniture but thankfully his love of boxes has worked in our favour there. We got a big moving box and filled it with paper, and he's been shredding that and only that ever since. We occasionally have to replace the box, but it saves the couch!

Dusty is fond of boxes too. I have some random boxes from various shipments from Amazon and I often find her curled up in one of them.

I don't think she loves them as much as Maru does though. One of my favorite Internet kitties.
