• Class: The Other Fighter
• Age/Race/Gender: 27 year Old Human Male

• Personality: Cocky, Personable, and Selfish are the three words that come to mind. As a former pirate, Seldor is no stranger to getting along with people he might normally not in order to get a job done. He has a soft spot for orphans and the poor, growing up as one himself, but is ruthless and opportunisitic to just about everybody else. He'll laugh at your joke and stab you in the back in the same motion. However, the thought of profit is typically enough to control his backstabbing tendencies.
• Backstory: Seldor grew up an orphan on the mean streets of a port town. He eventually got work with a merchant vessel as a cabin boy before the ship's captain was mutinied against. After the mutiny, the crew decided to become pirates and Seldor advanced from a cabin boy to a respected member of the crew. However, pirate crews are notoriously fickle and the new pirate captain was also mutinied against. Seldor was one of the few crewmates who remained loyal to the old captain and, as a consequence for picking the losing side, was marooned along with the captain and his other loyal troops. They eventually escpaed the island they were marooned on and parted ways. Now seeking employment, Seldor hopes to use his skills with his axe to gain a job somewhere - preferably a place with a lot of treasure.

Interesting choice making him one of the Fighter class considering he's a ruthless pirate and typically Fighters are morally upright individuals. But Really that's not even a complaint, the character is solid and interesting and I look forward to having him on the team. Welcome aboard.

Also, this upcoming Saturday is when we start.

Alright, preparing a character sheet now. Can I be a second white mage, or is that a healer too many?

Considering our first is rather reluctant. Give it a shot and I'll be honest if it works or not.

Alright, here goes nothing. It kind of a draft, so I'll change any part that may get a little too Mary Sue.
Name: Lirahan Whiteoak
Class: White Mage
Age/Race/Gender 17 years old human male
Appearance: Lirahan is a average sized teenager, slightly thin, His face and hairstyle resemble those of Noctis◊ (from Final Fantasy XV), however his eyes are far more wide, reflecting his naivete.
Personality and Backstory: Lirahan grew up in a fairly peaceful small town. Born from successful merchants, Lirahan lived a happy childhood, even though a little too sheltered, which made him grown into a VERY naive young man, and spoiled sometimes. He started education in white magic at young age, as it was integrated in his religious studies(which was mandatory in his town). A couple of weeks after his 17th birthday, Lirahan heard of opportunities of studying in a foreign country, in exchange of a big ammount of money. After much insistence by Lirahan (and a little tantrum...), his parents gave the money for the gentleman responsible for the announce. Lirahan, however, couldn't have imagined that it was a trap all along. Not long after he crossed the limits of his home town, Lirahan was put to sleep. When he woke up, he found himself stripped of his baggage, without a single coin in his pockets, and lost in an unknown city, with no way to contact his parents or go back to his home town.
Starting Items:
His clothes, typical of a white mage;
His boots, made of a fairly expensive leather, that somehow went unnoticed by the burglars.
Trivia/Notes: Lirahan is only able to cast Cure and Protect for now, and, as he doesn't have any staff or item that channels his magic, the effects are very limited/weak.

Seems alright so far. Remove gil and chocobos. This is FF inspired, not FF directly.

But yeah, Seems good, I like the streak of bad luck aspect.

And...done.

I can imagine the Adventurer hiring everyone for the start is gonna give him like a pointy stick, just so he can better cast magic.

I think I see a niche I can fill.

• Name: Nicolas "Nico" Crux
• Class: Black Belt
• Age/Race/Gender: 18-year-old human male
• Appearance: Nico stands 6'3", with Ambiguously Brown skin (in our terms, he'd look half-black, half-Asian), hazel eyes, and a muscular build. He keeps his black hair in long dreadlocks that go down to his mid-back. He usually ties his hair back in a ponytail, but it has a habit of coming undone in the middle of combat.
• Personality: Nico is a confident warrior, but never arrogant or bloodthirsty. He never speaks more than he feels he needs to, and he lets his actions do the talking. For him, fighting is more than just a job—it's a way of life and a means of finding inner peace.
• Backstory: Nico came from a working-class family in the town of Ardjent—the D is silent—who prided themselves on hard work and dedication to their craft as silversmiths. Naturally, Nico came to adopt these traits, but he chose a different craft from the rest of his family and began studying martial arts. At first, it was mere exercise, but the more Nico practiced, the more he came to realize how fulfilling it was. He began to fight in bars to make some extra income, and though he was good at it, he felt unsatisfied going up against such opponents. He left home at age 16 and started walking the earth in search of something more. This led him fairly naturally into a career of adventuring, which he took to easily. It lets him go where he pleases, make enough to get by, and seek new challenges, and for now, that's the best path he can think of to walk down in search of enlightenment.

Yay, nice. Btw, if, at any point you, or the rest of the team, feel that the game is too easy because there are two white mages, feel free to tell me so I adopt a more offensive build or then kill this character and then build another character.

It might not be my place to say, but I don't think that will be a problem. Honestly, I think the real danger here is going to come less from any beasties or other such threats we might come across, and more from each other.
