Locking pending backlog resolution, seeing as this is more an Enforced Trope and the case for a repair is not strong.

The article was mentioned in the "Trope Description Cleanup" thread as being overly long and rambly. After cleaning up the description as best I could (Sandbox.Seven Dirty Words) I felt there wasn't really a trope here, just some popculture trivia about American broadcast standards. I asked two other tropers for their opinions.
I propose it be moved to Useful Notes and the only "examples" be deliberate references (Shout-Out, Parody, Homage ) to the original act, using the sandbox as definition.
