Gon nodded. "Thanks a lot."

He thanked Tset for his assistance. "For what it's worth. I am going to find some place to sit down and unwind."

Theater

Hercules was watching the movie with interest, he didn’t understand everything about it but it did give him a chance to see Ben in his own world, what life was like with his Grandpa and Gwen, and even going on an adventure to far off places. Herc saw Ben getting embarrassed but he wasn’t judging him based on what was happening in the movie, he was actually being sympathetic to him.

“You don’t need to beat yourself up, Ben, you have come a long way since then.” He said smiling at him. “Just because something like this happens in the future, doesn’t mean it will happen. I may not know a lot about time but from where I’m sitting, you’ve done more change for the better I’d say. You fought off Miss Tairee’s evil clone, saved the city and made some friends while here.”

The movie theater — Ben is a movie star

Ben continued watching his movie, growing excited upon seeing his newest, most powerful alien form in the movie.

"Way Big... I like that name!" Ben said, grinning. "There's a couple aliens here that I've never seen before, I wonder when I get those?" he asked mostly to himself. He had transformed into Upchuck on Incarcecon earlier in the movie.

Ben glanced over at Hercules, smiling, sinking in his seat slightly and looking self-conscious.

"Gee, thanks," he told Hercules. "That's so nice." He sucked on his smoothie, then continued munching on his popcorn as the movie drew to a close.

"Wait, zombies, what? Huh? Movie's over already? C'mon, I wanna see me fight zombies!" he exclaimed. "Man, that was awesome!" He stood up, still carrying his popcorn. "Was there anything else you guys wanted to do before we... y'know... go home?" he asked.

Part of him didn't really want to think about going home, he was enjoying his time with his friends. But he knew that it was what he was most wanting to do, and more than anything he wanted to get out of the City. All he had to do was say the word.

Movie theater

Louie remained excited throughout the film, while Thomas watched silently. Once it was finished though, Thomas clapped. "So it's what would have happened if you hadn't been brought here, if I'm understanding right? Then I'm glad to know you're bound to learn and mature," Thomas said as he followed out of the theater room.

"And he can really whoop some butt! Didn't the city reduce your abilities or something? Man, I can't wait to see what you can really do outside of it," Louie commented, following along as his Pokemon trailed behind him. "As for what to do now, I don't know... Anybody else you wanted to say goodbye to before we go?" the trainer suggested.

"Perhaps we should work out some details of how we'll contact each other once we're home," Thomas added in.

Exiting the movie theater

Ben grinned, enjoying the compliments he was receiving.

"Gee, you guys!" Ben laughed, following the others out of the theater room. He thought for a moment, setting down his popcorn and looking down at his phone for a moment.

"I dunno..." Ben said, unsure. "Most of the people I wanted to say goodbye to aren't here anymore. A lot of them either got taken away by the Writer or went home already." He glanced up at Thomas.

"I dunno how we're gonna talk to each other. You don't have a phone, I dunno if it's even gonna work between universes and you said your world doesn't like Muffle tech," he sighed. "This sounds like something we're gonna need to talk to the Writer about. Should we get back to the Library and talk about it?"

Outside the theater, to dial god, just think about it

"It's not 'muffle' it's... Actually, never mind," Thomas said, shaking his head, then thinking for a bit. "... Do we have to be at the library to talk to the Writer?" There was a writing sound heard in the air then, before Writer's words appeared in their vision.

"No, but if you would rather I not communicate with you unless you're there, then I can wait."

Louie closed his eyes for a moment. "That is still weird," he muttered to himself, then looked at Ben and Thomas while thinking himself. "But uh, I guess while you're here Writer guy, then answer this; does the method we use to get to each others universes have to be the same for all of us?" There was a quick, audible scribbling, then more text appeared to them.

"Not at all. They can be entirely different."

"Right, then, Thomas can use magic, in my world it'll probably be something cooked up by one of those Pokemon professors, and Ben can have it built into his omnitrix!" Louie suggested enthusiastically.

"If my magic will work across worlds, then I could use something like floo powder to contact you," Thomas added in.

Outside the theater

"Oh, right," Ben muttered, as the Writer managed to answer them wherever they were. He looked at the Omnitrix, intrigued.

"I guess it could be built into the watch, that'd be neat," he admitted. Then he looked towards Thomas with a confused expression on his face. "Floo powder? Sounds gross," Ben said, wincing.

Outside the theater

"It lets us wizards communicate through fire places... Um, those exist in your worlds, right?" Thomas explained, raising an eyebrow.

"Well, some people have them, but not many... What about a campfire? I make those often," Louie suggested in response.

"I don't actually know... But I don't see any reason why it wouldn't work," Thomas replied with a shrug. "But I suppose I should perhaps come up with something more reliable..." There was a writing sound in the air, then more of Writer's words appeared.

"You could be given a simpler spell to use that could connect with their communication devices."

Thomas looked intrigued, but then remembered something. "Wouldn't that mess up their devices, because of how my magic interacts with technology?" Thomas asked. There was silence for a few moments after that, with Writer not immediately responding.

Outside the Theater
Once the movie ended, Herc followed the rest of the City Knights outside. Once the conversation reached ways on how the others would be able to reach eachother when travelling to other worlds. And then it hit him: “Oh gosh, I never thought about that until now!” Herc said suddenly. “I was so engrossed with the movie and being with you guys that I forgot about the leaving part.”

He then pondered for a few seconds to himself: “Let’s see…how would I able to travel? I can’t really use Pegasus to get any world. Could I?” He then turned to Ben. “Ben, do you think you could ask the writer if there was some possible way to get to your world?”

Outside the theater, limitless options with unrestricted godlike powers

Rather than have to have his message relayed, Hercules and the others got a response when the sound of a pen scribbling on paper could be heard, and Writer's words appeared in their vision.

"Pegasus can be given the ability to travel between worlds, or you could be given the power directly. Similarly, Thomas' spell to connect to communication devices can be made an exception to the rule of his magic interfering with electric currents. There is no limitation of your universes that cannot be overcome with my ability. Anything you can think of, no matter how simple, complicated, in line with your universes, or completely arbitrary, can be made to be how it works."

That's when Louie got an idea. "So, it could just be as easy as like, I say out loud, 'I want to be in Ben's universe,' and I go there instantly?" Louie said, glancing upward for lack of any other direction to look towards to make it clear he was talking to the Writer. "And like show up where he is too; not on the other side of a continent or something silly like that."

"Maybe not right nearby if we're in the middle of something like taking a bath," Thomas added, thinking ahead. There was a short, audible scribble, and a few more of Writer's words showed up to them.

"Of course."

Outside the theater

Ben crossed his arms and grinned, and was about to answer Hercules' question when the Writer answered it for him.

"It'll be great," Ben told the others. "We're gonna make the best superhero team in the whole multiverse. But I think that since we've been here so long, we should probably spend a day or two with our friends and family. They're probably worried sick about us and I miss Gwen and Grandpa."

He thought for a moment. "Gee, I can't believe I'm missing Gwen," he admitted. "I've been in this city way too long. We all have. We should get ready to go home. I gotta think of how to explain all this to Grandpa."

With that, he started walking away from the theater. He was putting together his explanation in his head. He turned back towards the others.

"This is crazy, y'know? Finally getting to go home. It's weird. I spent all the time in the world trying to do nothing but beat the Writer and go home and the more I think about how I finally get to do it, the more I realize, there's a lot of good stuff here. And good people here too. I should probably head back to the library and say goodbye to people," said Ben. He turned and started walking back towards the Library.

The library

Ben entered the library, heading towards the central desk and walking straight towards Miss Tairee's desk. He climbed up onto the desk and cleared his throat.

"Uh, Miss Tairee? I'm getting ready to go home, and I just wanted to say that I'm gonna miss you," he told her. "I was like a total jerkface to you and you were just trying to help us, and I didn't trust you near the end there. But I feel like I learned a lot this past month. How to be a real hero and not just think about myself all the time," he said to her. "What are you gonna do when this whole thing is all over? When the City's... gone? When everyone's home?"

He sighed. "What am I saying? You're gonna be the Writer's secretary, just like always. I guess I just hope that the Writer treats you right. You've been through a lot. We all have. And I'm probably never gonna see you again so I guess I just needed to make sure..."

He hesitated for a moment.

"So I guess this is goodbye, Miss Tairee."

Inside the library

Miss Tairee gave Ben a gentle smile. "I'll retire, someday. I'm thinking I'd like to go live peacefully, somewhere where nothing dramatic happens," Miss Tairee said, glancing over at Tester and Tset. Jackson was gone, and Tset was watching something on one of Tester's screens.

"Burned alive by his own boss; now that's comeuppance," Tset said, placing his hands on his hips and shaking his head.

"We won't necessarily never see each other again. Anytime I want, I could go to any point in time in your existence that I want... Tell you what, I'll make myself a reminder here to do that," Miss Tairee went on, ignoring whatever was going on with the other two assistants. "There's a lot I'd like to do after this before I get to that; so, it will probably be longer for me than it will for you... There, the next time you have to overcome a mighty obstacle, I'll be there to watch," the librarian concluded, then added with a smile, "just don't expect my help... You won't need it."

Behind Ben, Thomas and Louie approached. "I think that's it for my goodbyes," Louie said, then raised a hand and pointed a finger to the sky. "Unless there's anything else, I'm ready to go home!" he announced triumphantly.

Ben gave her a gentle smile, nodding slightly.

"Good to know. I won't let you down!" he assured her, sliding down from the desk. He looked at his watch, then his bag, back at his friends, then back over at Miss Tairee.

"Yeah... me too," he told her. "I'm ready to go home too." His heart skipped a beat in excitement. This was something he was waiting for all month. And yet, it felt oddly wistful. He would remember this month for the rest of his life.

He felt forged by flames. The City made him a better hero, he could tell. And he knew that once he was home he would make a stand to be the best hero he could be.

After he took a nice long break, though. He was so exhausted. In a good way, but exhausted.

"Bye, everyone." He turned towards Thomas and Louie. "I'll see you around."

Library

Once Herc arrived back at the Library, he joined Ben to talk with Miss Tairee, he apologised to her of course, the Demi-god, was sympathetic to her he didn’t know why he just did. “Honestly being trapped in a place against your will and having the Writer serve as your master? I can understand where your coming from. Nobody would like to be in your position. But for what’s it worth, I think your going to be alright. Some good will come eventually I mean if I can save Meg’s soul from Hades, then there really is a future for you. You deserve it more than anything.” He said after Miss Tairee discussed with Ben where she saw herself in her own future.

Hercules then walked over to Lieutenant Wells: “We fought quite a few battles together, just a shame I couldn’t encounter under different circumstances.”

Inside the library

Miss Tairee looked at Hercules and raised an eyebrow, then shook her head gently, with a little smile. "After everything, you still don't understand? I'm not the Writer's slave; I never was. I'm more like an employee, and I am in his service willingly. I appreciate the sentiment, but your concern is misplaced," she said to him, before turning her attention back to Ben and Louie.

After Hercules spoke to Wells, the lieutenant nodded. "At least we all got out of here alive. I suppose we'll never see each other after this, but then again, I think I've had my fill of godly beings for my lifetime," the military man said, then stood up from his seat. He looked over, seeing Ben and Louie about to depart. "Tennyson!" Wells called out, then brought his boot heels together, and straightened his back as he saluted the two City Knights.

Shortly after that, Ben and Louie both blurred, and vanished.

Hoenn, Fortree City
The first NPC epilogue

For both Ben and Louie, after the world blurred, it was much like when they had first been taken to the city. Everything went dark for what was just a moment yet seemed to stretch out for longer. When their senses returned with blinding light and sudden noise, they were no longer together, as they were now in their respective worlds.

Louie blinked and looked around. He expected to be back on the route, exactly where he had been when he was taken. Instead, he was in what he realized was Fortree City, the place where he had agreed to meet up with Kaylie back when he'd contacted her from the city. He was on the ground, and looked around at the trees, buildings, and walkways up in the canopy; Fortree City had been built in a forest, and incorporated itself into said forest rather than displacing it. After a moment, Louie smiled broadly, then grabbed his pokeballs. "Guys, we're back!" Louie said in excitement, quickly bringing out his six Pokemon. As they looked around and took in the familiar smells in the air and the occasional other Pokemon around, they too started to get really excited.

"Yes! No more stupid city that changes around for no reason! No more drama! We can have battles again where..." Louie trailed off, sparing a glance at Swishee in particular. "It's just fun battles," he finished, then sighed and patted the head of the Pelipper. "Maybe not for a little while though."

Ace let out a protesting squawk, with Goldeneye and Nimbus chiming in with their own noises of disapproval.

"Geez, you guys really want to get right back into it?" Louie muttered, rubbing the back of his head.

From somewhere above there was a different but familiar Pokemon call, then abruptly a green figure fell and landed right next to the group. Greetchy the Sceptile quickly stood and made an indignant noise at Ace, who returned a squawk of a similar tone.

"There you are!" called out a girl's voice, and Louie looked up with a renewed excitement to see Kaylie making her way down one of the walkways that ramped down to the ground not far away. "I thought you were going to be coming along the route!" she added as she moved towards them in a hurry.

"I thought-" Louie started, but was then almost winded a bit as Kaylie ran into him and hugged him. "I-I thought I was too," he managed to say, returning the hug and smiling deeply.

The hug was brief before Kaylie pulled away, and looked at Louie with a grin that was sincere, but also a little mischievous. "You still owe me a rematch!" she told Louie, pointing at him.

"What? Come on Kaylie, not right now. I just got back!" Louie complained, though in a lighthearted tone.

"Don't 'come on Kaylie' me; you went and had this crazy adventure in another universe without me! You met a bunch of people with powers that I'm never going to!" Kaylie retorted, pouting slightly.

"It really wasn't as great as you just made it sound; I'd really like to take it easy for a bit," Louie muttered, thinking of some more bad memories. "Though I guess it had its moments. Good news though, you'll get to meet some of them too! We got a deal just today that will let my friends and I visit each other!" he continued, back to an excited tone.

Kaylie blinked in surprise a few times, then relaxed a bit. "Really? I guess I can let the rematch slide then," she decided, placing a hand on her hip.

"Alright, well, was there anything I missed happening here while I was gone?" Louie then asked.

"Oh goodness, a lot actually. Magma and Aqua did this big thing and... Well, I'll tell you about that later; but also I heard the champion was defeated!" Kaylie responded as she thought about it.

"So there's a new champion? Huh..." Louie muttered, thinking back to some of the particular things he'd learned while in the city. Then he thought about the other things he'd learned, which were more important to him, as he looked at Kaylie and couldn't help a slight blush, before glancing away to hide it. "Hey Kaylie... You ever think about what you're going to do, y'know, after you're done with your Pokemon journey?" he wondered.

"Huh? You already know, Louie, I want to keep being a battler," Kaylie answered, a bit confused.

"Yeah, but I mean, what are you going to do?" Louie repeated, looking back at her.

Kaylie shrugged. "Well, after I get the eight badges I'll try the elite four challenge. I don't expect to win, but I want to try it. Then, I dunno... Probably go around and compete in tournaments. Maybe someday I'll try to be a gym leader, but I don't know what type I would use."

Louie nodded, and looked around at the forest and city again. "Yeah, something like that... I've been thinking about that lately," he thought out loud, watching other people and Pokemon walking around. There was so much more that a part of him wanted to talk to Kaylie about, but he knew that now was not the time. He wasn't sure what else to talk about, but then he spotted somebody walking along one the ground paths, coming in roughly their direction, and would be passing by them in a minute. Louie thought back to something in particular he'd learned while in the city, and had a moment of recognition. "Kaylie, there; that's the new champion," he informed the other trainer, while pointing out the young person walking along with what seemed to be a friend of theirs.

"What? How would you know; you've been gone," Kaylie pointed out, confused again.

"Trust me, I know," Louie said, glancing over at Kaylie with a smirk. "So, want to challenge them to a double battle?" he offered.

"I thought you didn't want to fight right now," Kaylie responded, raising an eyebrow.

"The thought of fighting them put me back in the mood for it," Louie responded, still smirking.

"And if they're really the champion, how do you expect to win?" Kaylie then pointed out.

"I don't, not even a little bit," Louie admitted, yet wasn't deterred. "But I bet it will be a great Pokemon battle," he pointed out.

Kaylie was still a bit confused, but then shrugged. "Alright, I guess there's no harm in asking," she muttered, and walked with Louie in the way of the two approaching figures, right to one of the toughest battles the two would ever face...

The library

Ben turned towards Lt. Wells, seeing him salute. Ben smiled, standing at attention and returning Lt. Wells' salute. Then, before he could respond further, his vision blurred and went dark.

Thirty days earlier (except not; you know what? it's complicated) in the Rust Bucket

"Are you even paying attention to me, Ben?" Gwen snapped at Ben, who had been laying on his bed reading a comic book, and indeed not even paying attention to his cousin. Grandpa Max sat in the driver's seat of the Rust Bucket, trying to tune out Gwen and pay attention to the road. Gwen's eyes widened when she saw Ben blur for a brief moment, then he shot up as if he had awoken from some kind of dream. He suddenly had a few more bags, from out of nowhere.

"GWEN!" Ben shouted, jumping up from his bed, dropping the comic book at his feet. Gwen gasped, then Ben wrapped his arms around Gwen in a tight hug. Gwen winced, then shoved at Ben to release herself from his grip.

"Ugh, let go, you little freak!" Gwen growled, shoving him away. "What's gotten into you?! Since when have you been the touchy feely type?!"

Meanwhile, Max, having been startled by Ben shouting for Gwen, gasped and pulled towards the side of the road, parking the vehicle. "Ben, are you okay?!" Max asked, looking worried.

"GRANDPA!" Ben exclaimed, moving towards Max and wrapping his arms around Max's waist. Caught off guard, Max put his arms around Ben, patting his back.

"What's wrong, Ben? Is everything all right?" said Max, concern entering his voice.

"Oh man, I thought I'd never see you guys again! But I'm home now, I'm finally home!" Ben exclaimed, still holding tightly onto Max. Max just looked completely baffled.

"Ben, what are you talking about? Did you doze off and have some sort of nightmare?" Max responded. His brow furrowed, noticing the bag draped by a long strap over Ben's shoulder. "And have you always had that bag?"

"Grandpa, Gwen, I've been gone for a whole month. I know it's hard to swallow but you've gotta believe me, I was kidnapped by this all-powerful god thing who kept me in a floating city with a bunch of other people! There was a library and the city kept changing every day and making itself more dangerous and you didn't stay dead if you died, you just came back," Ben tried to explain, in an excited frenzy.

"Ben, Ben, calm down. You've been imagining things, digging your head into that comic book too much. You scared me half to death just now, you know that?" Max said sternly. Gwen blinked, shaking her head ever so slightly.

"No, Grandpa, I think he's telling the truth," Gwen told him. "Just before he flipped his lid, I saw him kinda... go fuzzy for a bit. Then he had this bag he never had before and he jumped me like a crazy person."

"See! Gwen's vouching for me!" Ben replied with vigor. "Gee, can't believe I just said that," he muttered under his breath. He let go of Max, reaching for his bag. "This bag is a magic bag I got in the City, in can hold way more stuff than it looks like it should be able to," he explained, digging into the bag and pulling out random stuff. "See?"

Max just looked at the bag curiously, while Gwen snickered to herself upon Ben pulling out the doll Alice had made for him.

"Is that a doll, Ben?" Gwen asked, smugly.

"Shut up!" retorted Ben. "It's a gift from a friend. A friend I'm never gonna see again."

"Curious," Max murmured. "That looks like a Null Void projector but there's something off about it, something I can't place. You say you got this in this City you're talking about? C'mon, let's get outside and get you some fresh air. And tell me everything, why don't you." He led Ben out towards the door, while Gwen followed, looking simultaneously confused, curious, and frustrated.

"And that's the whole story, as much as I can tell," Ben said, after having spilled his guts about the entire ordeal he had spent in the City.

"It sounds totally crazy, but, somehow? I think he's... not lying," Gwen muttered, sounding distant.

"Why would I lie about this?! I sound like a lunatic!" Ben shouted.

"Well, I don't think you're making it up, a 10 year old couldn't come up with something this... creative. If what you said is true, I'm glad you managed to get out of there. It sounds horrible," Max said solemnly. "So what about these new aliens you were talking about?"

"I got a bunch of them!" Ben said excitedly. "Like this really cool big one called Cybersaur!" At once, there was a green flash of light and Ben, now in the form of Cybersaur (but strangely, a good deal bigger than he remembered) stood beside the Rust Bucket. "Whoa!" Cybersaur yelped. "That's new!! Must be a perk of the wish I got from the Writer! Lemme try something here!" Gwen looked at him incredulously, while Max just stared at him, dumbstruck.

"Morph!" Cybersaur shouted, transforming into Morph with a flash. Gwen shrieked.

"That is the most disgusting blob of sludge I've ever—"

"Estebone!" Another transformation, this time into the skeletal form of Sans' monster form. "Riptide! Bentaur! Huntbug! Megabite! Ultra Ben! Mealworm!" he shouted in succession, transforming into each alien he named after saying their names. Mealworm hissed, looking up towards Max, before transforming back into Ben. Gwen looked at Ben in shocked confusion, then up at Max.

"This is a lot to take in," Max sighed, looking dizzy. "Anyway, these friends of yours. You're gonna try and visit them? You sure that's a good idea? What if you get stuck in some other universe again? And you can't just gallivant all over the multiverse like that, that's bound to cause trouble." Gwen facepalmed.

"You're so reckless, just as always!" Gwen sighed. "But the important thing is, you're safe. You didn't get yourself killed. Well, killed for real, you know what I mean."

"It's gonna be fine!" Ben said. "Like I told you. We're the City Knights. We can handle anything."

"Doesn't make much sense to call yourselves the City Knights anymore, now that you're out of the City," Max pointed out. "But that's not the point. Just... be careful doing this reality-jumping thing. This universal projector's not a toy and neither is the space-time continuum."

"Don't worry about it, Grandpa," Ben assured Max. "I'm heroed out for a while. I'm gonna wanna take a nice long break after all that craziness." Gwen chuckled, playfully punching Ben in the shoulder.

"Who are you and what have you done with my little dork cousin?" Gwen laughed. Max smiled.

"I don't blame you one bit. Get some rest. Take a nap. We're getting back on the road. C'mon, Gwen," Max said, moving back towards the Rust Bucket.

"And try to cool it with the cuddling, okay Ben?" Gwen asked, jumping up into the vehicle. Ben smiled, nodding.

"Don't worry, that was a one time thing," replied Ben. He took one step back onto the Rust Bucket. He glanced around at the open field along the road. He took a deep breath and he smiled, then look at the watch.

"Come on, Ben!" Max shouted.

"Coming!" Ben said in return, climbing into the Rust Bucket. The door shut behind him, and soon the vehicle was on the move again, towards another adventure...

I can still hail the Horde even though the company has shamed us. Strength and Honor even if Blizzard has neither.

Library — The final farewells

After Garrett had finished making his wish, he left the library for a while, wandering around the City. No, it wasn't like he was going to miss this place... but it had been his area of operations for the past few weeks, and even a thief could get sentimental.

He returned to the library just in time to see Ben and Louie vanish back to their worlds.

"The party's finally breaking up, I see," he said. "Well, guess I'll take that as my cue to leave, too. ...Unless someone's got unfinished business with me?" He looked around, just in case anyone wanted to talk with him.

Gon, finally had enough sleeping time.

Gon yawned after what felt like time has passed by sleeping on an empty couch.

He saw that some people (not that he could tell since he was rubbing his yes) were gathering around.

Although he did saw Garrett.

"Hey. What's happening? I dozed off for a while. Best sleep I ever had until I get back home."

Suddenly, Gon asked what was going on. Garrett sighed. "...People are leaving, that's what's happening. Ben and that kid have already left. I guess I'll go next."

"Hmmm... why am I not surprised?"

Gon stretched his neck.

"Guess I'll take my leave too. Hopefully before it's not too late."

Inside the library

The chat between Garrett and Gon attracted Lieutenant Wells' attention, and he eyed them for a moment, at least the thief in particular. "I remember you siding with mister Nigma," Wells remarked, narrowing his eyes a little and raising his chin. "... Though I also seem to recall you being on our side when it really counted. So I'd say you can't be that bad," the lieutenant added after a brief moment, giving a single nod of approval before muttering to himself, "still don't know what you saw in him."

Garrett snorted in derision. "Just don't imply that I've got a hidden heart of gold or whatever," he replied to Wells. "If I think someone might be useful, I ally with them. If I think someone might get in my way, I work against them. That's all there is to it."

He looked away for a moment. "Anyway... got to give credit. You and your men did do a good job guarding that prison. You could teach a thing or two to the guards in my home city... guess I'm lucky that won't happen."

"I guess this'll be goodbye for now."

Gon offered to shake hands with Garrett.

Garrett hesitated a bit, but accepted Gon's handshake.

"...It was useful to have you at my side, I guess. Good luck with... whoever it was you've been trying to save."

"Same here. I think I'll need it."

Gon had a firm grip when he shook hands with Garrett.
