Trickster || Street fight

The Trickster expected to come upon a shocked and bruised foe, but Darturien's reaction to the fire was unexpectedly subdued. Though taken by surprise, the Trickster managed to shield himself from Darturien's blow at the last moment, but the mace hit him in the left arm with quite the force. He let out a groan of pain as a dull ache spread through the forearm.

"Imp? Faces you a god, manfool. Glowy shieldsies save you not...", he hissed as he shot one of his hoofed legs forward, aiming straight at Darturien's chest.

Library, lobby

Louie's body had vanished, and not too long after, Goldeneye blinked in not far from the central desks. Immediately it hummed inquisitively and impatiently at the Miss Tairee copy there.

"Yes, he's back to life, but he's also somewhere else now. He didn't come alive again on the spot" the Miss Tairee copy answered Goldeneye.

Goldeneye hummed again, annoyed and even more impatient.

"No, sorry, I don't know where he appeared" the Miss Tairee copy responded simply.

Elsewhere in the city...

Louie carefully moved around, checking around street corners before going onto new streets; he clearly was hoping to avoid another unfavorable encounter. Louie then heard a familiar squawk behind him, and barely had time to turn before Ace just about tackled the boy in an embrace. "Whoa, hey there Ace. I know, I'm sorry; I wasn't expecting that old man to..." Louie trailed off, because Ace was just about all out sobbing. "Ace, you're really torn up over this; did something happen?... Wait, where's the others?" the trainer wondered, patting Ace's back, but the blaziken could not make any response yet.

Outside the Arcade

For a second, she thought the explosion had killed Sir Redring, but her spell had kept him in once piece. Why he kept engaging the soldier was a mystery, but she wasn't about to tell the octopus what to do.

"He's going to be fine, just hold on!" Makoto said, speeding up before she heard the grenades go off. Ben shouldn't be caught in the blast at this range. For good measure, Anat tossed a spark of blue magic backwards at Vilgax, setting off another explosive Freidyne. "How long does it usually take for your watch to be ready again?"

Outside the Arcade

“My name is Hercules, the son of Zeus and Hera, the hero of Thebes and a demigod. And don’t you forget it.” Hercules proclaimed in response to Vilgax’s surprise at the sudden punch that he just given him. Unfortunately he had to content with Swishee’s water wave attack which was now coming for him. Herc barely had any time to react but as soon as he saw the waves coming for him, he put his arms in a sort of cross like motion and then prepared to brace himself waiting for the worst to come.

Street battle

Hades was just effortlessly just teleporting out the way of every shot that Caboose was throwing at him and the god of the Underworld was just enjoying this immensely at the fact that Caboose couldn’t hit his target, so much that so at one point when the sim trooper was reloading, Hades couldn’t help but gloat at his current situation: “Is that all you got?” Hades gleefully taunted him as he teleported away again. Seeing that his armoured opponent couldn’t really see much because of his helmet now ablaze with fire, Hades then got the idea to start setting the ground around Caboose to create firewalls to prevent him from trying to get a clear shot essentially shielding most of the incoming bullets from Freckles.

"Get him, get him!" shouted Morty, hoping that one of the heroes who would be better equipped than him to handle what was apparently a case of demonic possession. "Look, Lewis," he asked, keeping the board up in self-defense as an impromptu shield, "if this- if this is acase possession, is there like- holy water or something? A cross I can hold up?"

Street battle

"I wasn't talking about- oh forget it" Darturien muttered, already preparing for another swing, until the Trickster's kick met with his chest. There was more flare of the glow around the cleric as his magical protection weakened the kick somewhat, then his armor and constitution took the rest, standing firm, but not without exertion. It was however what the lich needed as more distraction to close the distance, and grasp his hands onto either side of Darturien's head from behind, and start pumping that purple, mist-like energy into the cleric. Darturien let out a yell of pain as he unconsciously lurched upright.

"Amelia, save Darturien" Lady Valentina told her comrade.

"But Tristen is-" Lady Amelia started to object.

"Tristen will be fine, Darturien won't" Lady Valentina cut her off, with a firm tone.

Lady Amelia looked like she still objected, yet raised her crossbow towards the fight around the cleric, already putting more magic charges at the ready. Rather than just once, Lady Amelia now launched the salvo of three bolts in rapid succession. The first two went towards the lich, hitting it in the back; the first one let out that shrieking noise again, making the lich yell and lose his concentration on his own magic. The second bolt hit the lich and exploded with a small blast on impact, throwing the lich sideways onto the ground. The third bolt was then aimed at the Trickster, but this one flew much faster than the previous two, making it harder to avoid even though the Trickster could see it coming. If it hit the Trickster, the bolt would hit with an armor piercing effect, somewhat ignoring whatever defensive effects the deity might have had, including magical.

Lady Valentina meanwhile fired off another magic missile, this one towards the kobold. It caught the short reptilian's head as he was starting to move again, making him spin around in place before falling dead.

The orc shamaness prepared magic fire in her hands, and stepped a bit closer towards Tristen. "I already thought you were bad, but after what Akyaliha told us, I see you might just be the worst of them" the orc shamaness said in a scathing tone towards the knight, and launched another yellowish-green fireball at him.

Sir Tristen swung his shield at the fireball as he was getting up, which dissipated on impact with the shield. "Can't anyone be just trying to kill me anymore?" Sir Tristen thought out loud, as more of a general observation than an actual question directed at anyone in particular. "I'd rather just fight right now, if it's all the same to you" the knight added as he got to his feet. He had to then block another fireball that the orc threw at him.

"YOU'RE SCUM!" the orc screamed at Tristen.

Tristen gave a sigh of resignation. "I'll take that as a no" Sir Tristen muttered, and charged forward at the orc.

Off to the side of the battle, Cleyo was now seemingly gone, so either his cloak was probably working again, or he had bailed.

Street Battle

Hades was poking a sleeping lion here. While the sim trooper was failing miserably at doing anything of value to combat the Greek God, the fact of the matter was that up until now he was still using what little brain cells he possessed to fight. Trying to shoot the guy, not letting the fire scare him, letting Freckles guide him.

But so much failure and so much making fun of him was starting to hurt. It wasn't like Caboose was weak... he was tough. But there were things he wasn't able to do alone. That's why the reds and blues were a team. He was a soldier without his allies right now and without them he just wasn't as good a soldier as he could be. He couldn't be a good Caboose without his friends.

So he needed to stop being Caboose, because that wasn't working right now. All he could see was fire, and he just focused on that thought. Things burning, happy things becoming not happy ash, and sharkface being really angry at Carolina. Making himself angry.

He wasn't happy anymore. He was just mad.

Hades possibly would notice that the soldier had stopped shooting. Of course, that only lasted for a second before the burning man burst through the walls of fire. Caboose moved with more power and purpose to him, seemingly unaffected by the burning heat. In truth, he was beginning to get seriously hurt. But no pain got through to his mind. His anger burned hotter than the fire.

"I am Michael J. Caboose!" he bellowed at the death god, voice far deeper, almost bestial. "And I have ice water in my blood carrying things!" Santa had said that there was a true warrior inside of him, and this was it. The furious sim trooper began to... spin in a circle... a very fast spin. Freckles was held out in front of him, the gun still loaded, as he continued to spin. He must have looked very ridiculous, a giant flaming top.

Until he started holding down the trigger. A ton of confetti shot out of the gun as Freckles held the bullets back. But anytime the bullet's path would cross with Hades current location, the gun's AI would allow an actual projectile to fire. Angry Caboose didn't care about aiming anymore, he could delegate that completely. It would hopefully be enough.

If it wasn't, he'd burn.

Arcade Fight-Mental Meta Metal

This octopus was dangerous, more dangerous than anyone else here to the Meta at this moment in time. While he was no stranger to fighting people using melee weapons with even just his bare hands, people tended to have proper joints. There was no good way to grapple an octopode that he could think of, and that same octopus wasn't even bothered by his invisibility that much.

It was annoying. It made him angry. The feint landed, though one of the swords landed on a particularly thickly armored patch and bounced off with only a scrape left behind. The other sword dug into the metal an inch, though it failed to penetrate completely. His armor was really tough, after all. But if the squid had been able to aim the strikes, it surely would have done some actual damage to his very human body. He had simply acted a moment too soon.

The emp grenade that Ben had thrown went off a moment after Redring's attack, and the Meta instantly flickered back into visibility. Now that... made him very angry. But it was OK. He didn't need enhancements to kill someone. He didn't need them back in Project Freelancer. Just Sigma, his strength, and a bruteshot. And he was only missing Sigma.

Before Redring could effectively take a step back and return to his prior tactic of simply overwhelming Meta with sheer speed, the armored super soldier acted fast. He'd take one hand off his bruteshot, the hand that helped keep it stable rather than the one he used to fire the weapon, and attempt to use it to hold the octopode in place, even if for only a single moment. It was a testament to his strength that he could even keep the grenade launcher aloft with one hand, even if he couldn't aim properly like this. What he would do next wouldn't require much aim, though.

If his attempts to grab the squid worked, he'd immediately press the trigger of his bruteshot before any escape attempts could be made. And then he'd press it again. This thing could fire very fast. It would get him in the blast radius as well, probably causing some damage, but it was an acceptable risk. He could tank a few of these without it being a serious concern. Hopefully the same couldn't be said about the octopus.

If he failed to get a grip on Redring, his free arm would instead reach for his sidearm. The magnum would be quickly drawn and, if possible, fired accurately at the annoying cephalapod's body.

The arcade battle

Vilgax raised an eyebrow, before he was pelted several times, first with torrents of watery Weather Balls from Nimbus, and then the EMP grenade that Ben tossed.

"Grrr-RRRRRGH!" he growled, shuddering as the cybernetics in his body seized up briefly, falling to one knee for a moment, before he managed to regain his composure. He stood, attempting to storm towards the escaping motorcycle before he was hit with a third attack, this time the Freidyne spell that Makoto cast.

With a blue explosion, Vilgax was hit point blank and he snarled in fury again. He still looked relatively healthy, but the repeated attacks were beginning to take a toll on him.

"I will not be defeated by the likes of you!!" he yelled, deciding now to crouch for a moment and then leap over Hercules' head, landing and starting to move at speed towards the escaping motorcycle.

Ben looked at Makoto, grimacing as he watched Sir Redring take a good amount of punishment from the Meta.

"I hope you're right," he told her. When she asked him about the Omnitrix's cooldown, Ben looked at the watch idly. "Like 5 minutes, maybe 10 tops," he said. "I just hope it charges up fast cause I hate just sitting here and watching all this go down..."

Arcade battle

Sir Redring met the Meta's reaching hand with a quick slash from one of his swords, straight into the palm of the Meta's glove, which kept the Meta from getting a grip on the octopode. Now that the Meta was visible, Sir Redring renewed his attack even further, thrusting his other sword right at the Meta's neck, trying to get through the softer looking material there and hopefully finish the fight. This was however an opening for the Meta to take his sidearm and shoot Sir Redring, provided that Sir Redring's stab had not killed him.

Swishee stayed overhead, while Nimbus fired another torrent of water, trying to hit Vilgax in the side while he was on the move. Lil' Sunny finally looked up from her crying as she heard the heavy stomping of Vilgax running behind them. Though still sniffling, the roselia finally decided to act, sweeping one arm in that direction and releasing a scatter of little, poisonous plant thorns on the ground behind them, right in Vilgax's path.

Two, Vs. Vilgax and Meta

There was a lot going on. Meta proved to be as despicable as they came, charging towards the fleeing group. Unfortunately, one of the Pokemon brought about a tide and it didn't seem like it stopped Vilgax or his partner much. Two wasn't going to let it get in the way, setting off after the alien overlord. She set off after him, making use of his brief stop after the EMP affected him.

With a war cry and heedless of her allies's attacks, she rushed in to try and seize Vilgax's neck and then pull backwards. She might not have been as strong as Hercules, but she was still second strongest around - with enough grip to hopefully slow down or outright stop the alien foe. And, for all it was worth, her soaked clothes made her weigh just a little bit more to make it more difficult for Vilgax to dislodge her.

Zero, Vs. Rean

Their resident goat gave her a dirty look, but Zero couldn't care less for his wounded ego. They had a mission to do. "That's what they all say! "Oh, Lady Two, you're so kind and selfless", I want to throw up in my mouth from hearing all these fucking sycophants." She growled back at Rean's defiant response.

And then her shitty sword was gone. Zero's eyes watched it fly away from her effective grasping range. With the shield over there, she was unarmed for the time being. "Alright." Despite that, her reaction was initially subdued, turning her attention back to Rean... and then snapping her fist towards his throat, aiming to take away his breathing with a punch that was much stronger than her form would suggest. It seemed all Intoners boasted physical aptitudes belying their appearances.

"You want to get down and dirty with me, I can play ball just fine."

Street fight

The Trickster did hear Lady Valentina speaking to Amelia and did see Amelia raising her crossbow; and so, he was prepared to dodge the shot aimed at him. The bolt flew past, ruffling the Trickster's fur somewhat but doing no damage.

The Trickster responded by raising his right arm, then shot out several strands of sticky web at Darturien, aiming to immobilize his arms. If successful, he'd then try and grab Darturien, using him as a human shield.

Arcade Battle-The Maine Course

Redring had gotten the Meta good with that last attack. The octopus was far too good at defensive fighting for the brute's normal tactic of overwhelming force to work. As one of the swords stabbed into his hand, he got a feeling of deja vu. And then the other blade started heading right towards his throat.

The blade would plunge through the armor, but the octopus would find that he didn't manage to slice quite as deep as he may have wanted. His neck had been armored well, after all. If it hadn't been, even someone like him would have died from a pistol being unloaded into his throat. A slight growl left the Meta from the pain of the sword piercing a bit into his neck, touching his old scars.

He didn't know if it would be lethal at the moment, and quite frankly he didn't care. All that mattered was that this was not an instant death. And the soldier didn't falter for a moment. The arm that had been keeping the bruteshot held up released its grip and shot up to grab the octopode's tentacle, the one that had the sword currently pierced through his neck's armor, and would try to keep it in place, neither letting him free it or push it further.

But, even as he did this, he didn't hesitate. While the arm tried to restrain Redring's tentacle, his other arm swung up the magnum and unloaded it point blank into the cephalapod's head. And when the ammo ran dry, he'd start pistol-whipping his enemy with the force of a sledgehammer. He was angry. A small bit of blood would start leaking out of the opening in his neck. No moment could be allowed for the octopode to get his bearings, he'd keep hitting until one of them died.

"I was asking you!" I shouted back, frustrated that he seemingly hadn't absorbed a single goddamn word I'd said in the past several minutes when I really needed him...but maybe I was just a fool expecting any sort of help when I'd been long damned...surely the guys could handle whatever it did after this, right? ...No, that wasn't right, even if they could that didn't mean I...um...

Who was 'they', again?

They must have been important for me to be holding out against...whatever this was, but I was struggling to recall them beyond vague impressions. A girl with crap taste in guys, a boy who refused to grow up, a different girl who, bless her heart, wasn't bright at all...I was sure I cared for some reason, but what? What was I worried about?

The hand that'd been barely holding my gun started to tighten around it again. What I did know was that the others had something I'd never regain. And without it I...

N-no!

I couldn't...I needed to...focus. I didn't know what to do, though, besides, uh..."W-what if we ran back to the...the..." Fuck, I couldn't remember words.

"Look, just tell me what to hit, okay? I'm-I know I don't have alien technology or superpowers or magic or-or whatever the hell half of the psychopaths in this city have at their disposal at a moment's notice," said Morty, not daring to put down the board and thus undercutting the emotional impact of the confrontation, "but I'm your friend... or-or at least I think I am, okay? Morty stopped and tried to think of a time that could be called "good."

There was a green blast from behind as a wall glowed green for a moment and crumbled, revealing a familiar rangy shape-looking like he'd been through multiple wars and back, limping on a bad leg, smelling like a mixture of alcohol, vomit, and less identifiable substances besides, but clearly tired and pissed off.

"Morty?"

Rean || Street fight || Rean Schwarzer, Jr. Therapist

Rean shook his head. Someone being a kind person was reason enough to care about them, right? There might've been brainwashing involved, but it's not like she was trying to do that. Besides, she was the same person even without the Song. And Zero didn't seem to get that.

"The Flower kept you from getting close to people, didn't it?" Rean said, watching Zero's sword go flying. " That's why Two finding happiness in spite of it bothers you. You'd rather she suffer like you di-"

Zero's punch struck true, knocking the wind out of Rean's esophagus. He staggered back, one hand to his throat. His head tilting back also re-aggravated his jaw. Ow. Still, he needed to keep fighting. To prevent her from finding Two or harming the child behind him. He regained his grip on his weapon and ignited it, this time with blue flames. He then charged at Zero, putting as much as he could into this one strike.

Makoto frowned and sped up when Vilgax kept pursuing them. How many hits could this guy take?

"Can't really keep this up all day..." she mumbled. This was way too many spells in a row she was casting without a break. Anat glowed and used Marakukaja on Two as she grabbed at Vilgax, hoping that was enough to help her out. "Is there any glaring weakness that we could use on him? Or do we just keep attacking until he goes down? Maybe we should call for backup?" Meta's gun went off, and she flinched and turned the motorcycle to loop back towards the arcade entrance. Street battle

Darturien hadn't recovered fast enough to do anything about the Trickster's webbing in time, and was bound up in it so that the deity could grab him easily. The cleric struggled as much as he could, but he wasn't getting away from the Trickster on his own any time soon.

"Crap, Darturien!" Lady Amelia called out, already loading in a new bolt to her crossbow.

"Just reload for now, Amelia" Lady Valentina told the ranger calmly, charging up some red magic in her free hand, but not launching any spell yet. "I'm sure he's about to tell us to stand down or else he'll kill Darturien" the sorceress elaborated.

"But, we're not going to do that, right? Darturien would never let us hear the end of it" Lady Amelia protested, while busy loading two more bolts into the mechanical crossbow.

"Just wait..." Lady Valentina answered, still holding her spell.

Meanwhile, the orc shamaness waited for Sir Tristen to make another stab so she could fling him away with magic again, but this time the knight just rammed straight into her with the shield, without slowing or anything. Once she fall backwards, Sir Tristen planted one foot on her chest; there was another shlink sort of noise, and the orc screamed out in pain. "You gave us enough trouble the first time we killed you. Now you're done" Sir Tristen said, raising his sword to stab down at her.

"Hold, Tristen" Lady Valentina called out to him simply, and Sir Tristen glanced back at the sorceress, staying his blade for the moment.

The goblin had succumbed to his wounds and the flames, while the lich had gotten back up to his feet, though was a bit weak. Only him and the orc were now still alive out of that group of nemeses.

Arcade battle

The Meta's tactic probably seemed sound at first, but it had a critical flaw. Yes, he grabbed Sir Redring's tentacle and kept it in place where Meta had grabbed it, making the octopode unable to use that tentacle to push or pull on the sword.

However, as an octopode, he had seven more tentacles to work with. In an immediate and automatic response, as if having dealt with this exact situation before, the tentacle the Meta had grabbed unwrapped its end from the sword handle, while two of Sir Redring's other tentacles swung up and grabbed the sword handle in its stead. Sir Redring thus did his best to keep pushing the sword in any further, while staring down the Meta with determination.

Whether that really worked or not, Sir Redring was not prepared for the other half of the retaliation, and the Meta was able to empty a few rounds into Sir Redring's head. The octopode flinched back, slumped down, and then vanished, along with his swords and hat.

Nimbus, with a heaping helping of not really having any other tools to work with, fired another water torrent at Vilgax. Lil' Sunny just held on while Makoto turned around, but then Swishee dived down near them, honking a few times before holding her bill open as she flapped in place.

Arcade Battle-Fragments

That goddamn octopode! Meta would have hissed in pain as the pressure on the blade continued despite his efforts, if he was able to hiss. Instead, all that came out was a guttural noise that belonged to a beast. He didn't manage to make any significant ground with pushing the sword in, but Redring had done more than enough.

When the tentacled swordsman vanished, his swords went with him. And with the sharp object suddenly gone from the wound it had made, he was starting to actually bleed. It wouldn't kill him, not at this very moment, but Meta was sure that his life was on a timer now. He was pissed off. There was no way he'd get to kill Caboose now. All because Vilgax had gotten him to go along with this attack!

Well... he'd just have to try to take as many of these people with him as he could.

The brute holstered his pistol and bent down quickly to pick up his bruteshot. Plenty of ammo left, especially for the time he had. A small stream of blood began to trickle out through the hole in his neck armor. His armor enhancements were back online. It would have been nice to save the energy for later, but the existence of a "later" for him was looking unlikely. He could go all out.

Ben and that motorcycle girl were grouped up together with one of the pokemon. For a man with a grenade launcher, this was a very tempting target. Meta activated his overshield to soak up damage and started running towards those two, moving at a speed that made him seem like a charging rhino in human form. Even as he ran, he unloaded his bruteshot towards Makoto, Ben, and Swishee. But still, even as he fired three grenades at them, he kept running. Ultimately, if he made it there, he'd attempt to slash right through Makoto with the blade on his bruteshot.

Outside the Arcade—This is gonna hurt

"...Well this'll be harder than I thought," Makoto said, before Meta finished off Sir Redring. Instead of plowing through the spikes on the ground, Vilgax opted to just collapse on top of Two with all his weight. She paled and brought Anat to a stop as Swishee grabbed her attention with an open beak. Wait a minute...

"Ben, climb in! You might be safer in the air than with me now." Makoto picked up Lil Sunny and set her in Swishee's bill just as Meta started his charge, his big gun raised at them. "Oh shit"- Anat reacted to the incoming grenades faster, dumping Makoto and Ben onto the ground as it switched to standing mode in front of them. The Persona took a few steps forward and was slammed with explosions one by one, though it blocked both the humans and Pokemon from getting incinerated. Unfortunately Makoto was hit with the mental backlash and nearly passed out from the flashes of pain. "T-take Swishee and get away from here..." she managed to say to Ben, trying to stand up. Anat was barely able to stay solid, but was keeping in between Meta and Makoto.

Zero, Vs. Rean

"The Flower kept me from dying when that was all I wanted!" She snapped back at Rean, getting ready to pound his face in. Incensed with all this stupidity and her own waning patience, her dodging proved spottier than the usual, letting the blue flames singe her skin and clothes. Despite that, she pushed on. "That piece of shit brought me back, and then I had to clean up this shitty mess!"

Rean's blow dug deep into her body, giving her a pause as she struggled to breathe. "Piece of-!" She spat out blood, hands reaching over to seize his neck and start throttling him. "All I wanted was to end this, but no! I had to, kh, save the world that trampled over me as it liked! Two's a virus! A blight, like the rest of them!" She was well beyond furious, but something about her expression shifted into a smirk. "Because if I don't, that weed will find others to feed on..." Ah. Her bloodlust was taking over, her eyes taken over by malicious glee.

Well, if she was not to survive this, at least the guy in front of her was a nice picture to look at.

Two, Vs. Vilgax

...oh.

Two had only a moment to realize the folly of her ways before the massive squidman squished her between his own armor and the ground. Even with Makoto's defense-boosting spells, it was quite a trip. The Intoner screamed as her bones popped, the anguished cry cut off in two as she spat out blood all over her opponent's back. Her vision went black for a moment, and it seemed like that would be the end of things... but then her hands shuffled and tightened even more, finding Vilgax's neck and attempting to squeeze the air out of him.

"Not... done...!" She choked out, trying to bite her opponent in defiance. "Go... run...!" The bluenette wasn't sure if Ben, Makoto and the Pokemon had left already - it was hard to make anything out from under Vilgax's sheer mass.

Prison fight

The shield disappearing was a shortlived relief when the Machine gun ran empty, and the alien clearly wasn't willing to give it time to recharge.
"Why don't you covenant this?" Curly threw the empty weapon at the elite as she landed and hopped to the side, reaching into her pocket to pull her Spur as she boosted into him, attempting to shove it's sword arm out of the way with her free hand so she could jam the plasma pistol under it's "chin" and fire.

Arcade

"Portal gun?" Rick procured the item in question from the tattered remnants of his labcoat and pointed it at Lewis. "What, y-you want me to shoot a portal for you? Look, if killing you means killing whatever it is..."

"No!" Morty shoved Rick's gun hand out of the way before he could do anything. "Look, Lewis, just- just tell me what you need me to do, okay? Rick, portal."

"I mean-"

"Portal."

Prison fight

With a skilled move, the elite slapped the thrown machinegun aside, but was taken by surprise as he wasn't expecting Curly to suddenly charge headlong at him. The impact was rough for both of them, though Curly had the advantage, and would barely leverage her pistol to the underside of the elite's head and fire before he could properly retaliate. A few shots later, and the elite was dead.

Other nemeses from the small crowd were advancing through the broken gate, but bursts of fire from Samson's MP5 after he had managed to get back to his feet were keeping the nemeses at bay. "Shit, that would've been really bad. Thanks" Samson said, reloading his weapon and glancing upwards, where the colorful bullet hell of a battle that Rex was in could be seen not far away. "It looks like it might not be over just yet" the militia member corrected, eying the fight uneasily.
