Caboose was basically standing still at the moment, being unable to shoot at Sae without risking Two's safety. The bluenette sure was fighting hard right now, but it was making it difficult to help her out.
Trying to come to a compromise with Freckles' anti-friendly fire programming, he aimed instead at the shadow's legs. Given the size of Leviathan, there were plenty of places that could be targeted without a significant chance of hitting Two.
Unfortunately, the legs were also more difficult a target. Thanks to Freckles assisting with the aim, most of the shots fired were on the mark. Unfortunately, not as many were fired as before. Might still be helpful, though time would tell if it would stop her from turning the corner in time.
Streets
This Ben sounded like a problem. Though most people would see a focus on brute strength as a huge weakness, The Meta understood that enough force could overcome even the largest gaps in skill. That was how he operated, after all. Being strong enough that he could plow right through most tactically focused opposition. The heroism would be easier to exploit.
Seeing nothing that would require speech for now, he simply gave Vilgax a nod of acknowledgement and began to follow. As they began their search, the mute brute began searching through radio transmissions to piece together something convincing. A realistic sounding cry for help at the right moment could prove fatal to a hero.
Stupid though he seemed and childish though he was, Meta knew the right way to use the tools available to him. Anyone fighting this duo would be in for a bad time.

Two, Vs. Shadow Sae, Leaving Near-Library
Sae most certainly did not enjoy being held. Two, for her part, did not enjoy being slammed into walls by a nine-feet-tall monster with huge weapons. Nevertheless, even as her bones started giving out, she held onto the shadow, refusing to let go even as they moved past. The others were giving chase, but after one of the wallslams, Two was admittedly a little too dizzy to pay attention to them.
The healing balloon helped alleviate some of the pain, and gave the bluenette renewed purpose. If the full nelson didn't work, then what about shifting her arms? Holding onto Sae, she moved to wrap one around where her neck should be, and squeezing. "You're not getting your..." Ouch, another wallslam. "getting your mitts on Makoto...!" And then, to emphasize, she brought her other hand balled into a fist down on the Leviathan's head, to pay back for the dizziness of earlier.
Zero, Minor Amusement, With Not-So-Gullible Babies
Snogging in the middle of the road? A once-in-a-lifetime experience, Zero thought with a slight smirk, and literal too. "Well, don't let me be too pushy, I suppose." Still, it seemed she wouldn't get to have that flustered boy in arm's reach. Maybe later, once she was done dealing with Two. "I'll be holding you up to that." Choosing to hold onto Lewis - and rather possessively; 'twas a big body to hold onto too - instead atop Anat, they seemed about ready to go.
Some lady - a fellow nemesis, Zero realized - was in the view, ranting about the evils of copulation. Oh, this was a wrong address she stumbled into. The Intoner couldn't help but wonder who could have such an enemy in the first place. "Let's get moving, or that lady will give us hell for body contact."

Gon was now in the city, deciding to take a break to look around and see if anything was out of the ordinary.
"Hmph. Seems normal to me."
What he didn't know is that someone familiar has accidentally caught sight of him from the back.
What Gon didn't know is that said person was now hiding from the nearest corner, seeing what he was doing.
City Streets Near Apartment Building
Some of her pursuers had stopped to help the annoying child that had dropped a brick on her, and she'd distracted them enough with her ladder to get even closer to escaping. To Shadow Sae's deep annoyance, Two was still insistent on being attached to her back. And now she was being choked and hit in the head. Shadow Sae rounded a corner with some difficulty and made a sound similar to high pressure steam escaping a pipe. If the rest of the group didnt get around the corner fast enough, the City would shift them apart.
"She's mine and I will hurt her as necessary!" The monster stumbled back and threw herself against another wall. She then dragged Two along the bricks. "You're dead weight to me too!"

"It is pretty incredible to not have to worry so much about the source of water around here," Arcade said as Cole marveled at the abundance of clean water, "less radiation, the better."
He started enjoying his own breakfast, forcing himself through great amounts of self-control to not just start shoveling it into his mouth as fast as possible. Instead, he managed to eat at a slightly quicker than normal pace as the others talked. He might've chimed in if not so distracted by the food that was amazingly good.
I say that aloud too sometimes, just: "man, no life."

"What?! Of course she won't try to eat you or kill you" Louie said in an offended tone. "... But, she might try to-" the trainer was cut off as Swishee suddenly snapped her bill shut, used her mystic water gem to fill half the remaining space inside the bill with water, then hopped up and down while swinging back and forth to really slosh the water, and Morty, around in there. After a few seconds or so she then opened her bill up and unceremoniously dumped Morty and the water onto the ground.
"... Prank you" Louie finished after a slight pause, while Swishee started honking repeatedly in laughter.
"Well, lucky for you that Eve's world hasn't gone through a nuclear apocalypse. Severe radiation shouldn't be an everyday concern there" Miss Tairee commented to Arcade.

Diamondhead heard the ungodly screeching that Sae was letting out, followed by some very uncomfortable scratching and scraping noises.
He pushed himself and moved to round the corner, as quickly as he could.
"She's nobody's, got that?!" he yelled. He then moved towards the Leviathan's legs and turned his hands into sharp points, slashing at Sae's legs in an attempt to prevent her from moving.
I can still hail the Horde even though the company has shamed us. Strength and Honor even if Blizzard has neither.

"Don't do what? If I don't hold on tight, I'll fall off." Zero's grip nonetheless lessened. It was still very firm - but it didn't feel as possessive and sexually charged, at least. "That's how those things work, right?"
Two, Scrapping Along, Vs. Shadow Sae
Ow. Owowowow. The previous slams were unpleasant, but now that Leviathan was quite literally dragging her along the wall, some of Two's focus was starting to go as bruises, rips and wounds started appearing all over her back and legs. "No... I won't allow it!" It was a matter of attrition. Whoever would give up first would lose - and the bluenette had no intention of giving up. Her arm tried to wrap around the monster's neck even tighter, even as she brought her fist down upon its head with an angry cry. "You don't get to demand anything!"

City Streets Near Apartment Building
"Shut up, you know nothing about us!" Shadow Sae responded, though her knees buckled under the force of Diamondhead's cuts and Caboose's bullets. Two trying to choke and disorient her seemed to make her even more frenzied than before. She caught herself and lunged at Diamondhead, trying to hit him with the flat of her blade and her gun arm until he backed away or was beaten down from her repeated strikes.
"I WILL win!" she continued to yell as she attacked him.

Morty wrung some water out of his hair as he looked down at his sodden clothes. "Eh-heh...," he forced himself to laugh, not in a particularly cheery mood in the first place and now cold and wet on top of it all. "Look, y-you don't have a Pokemon that could, like, dry me off, huh? Without setting me on fire, or setting my hair on fire, or...?"

Cole made a slightly annoyed mumbling sound, but finally set down the book, carefully so as to not get it dirty, before reaching out to pick up a pancake in both hands, staring at it a moment, before abruptly trying his best to just take a large bite straight out of it, more like trying to eat a sandwich than a pancake. Unlike the sandwich Arcade had made for him previously, though, the pancake had a fair bit more give to it, and he ended up accidentally tearing it in half, ending up with half of it still hanging from his mouth, and the other half still in his hands.
To this, Cole's main surprise was to try and stare down at the half of the pancake in his mouth in sheer puzzlement, as though trying to suss out exactly what to do about this predicament.
"You just have to keep up until breakfast, ok?"
Makoto claimed to have enough strength to keep Anat from collapsing, although her reassurance towards Rex turned into a definitely more hostile comment when aimed at Rose. She definitely didn't like the implication of being weak. And the one-eyed girl's semi flirtatious nature didn't help.
But despite how much tension the air was holding now, everyone agreed to follow Makoto's plan. Even Lewis, surprisingly, was being less of a pain in the neck than usual, stopping Rose from ruining the lovebirds' moment. Almost to the point where Rex suspected he had been replaced by a more agreeable copy. Who could even know with days like these?
"Alright" Rex said, trying to brush off his paranoia. "Hopefully it will be a short ride" he put on his goggles.
Zero seemed slightly concerned about a woman in the distance claiming the act of reproduction was such a vile crime.
"Who?" Rex turned to look at her. "Oh, just ignore her. Some people are a little uptight around here. You haven't seen anything yet"
As Rose and Lewis started arguing about their seat—they should probably get a room—Rex decided to test the engine a little more before accelerating in a random direction.
Outside Random House——> Grocery Store
The woman ranting as she held her very odd sign gave Makoto a bad feeling, and she made a note to avoid that person if she ran into them again. At least Rose wasn't pushing her luck, because Makoto didn't feel like asserting her own position more than she already had.
"The Library can't be that far..." Makoto said, before Rex drove off. She grabbed onto him a little tighter as he accelerated, but then she adjusted and had Anat speed up and trail them. As long as they didn't break "sight-lines" with Anat, this should work out. The city shifted around the four of them as the two bikes drove on, and soon they were on a street that went past the grocery store. There were a couple more corpse sightings on the road but Makoto tried to ignore it for now. She couldn't help them, but hopefully this was a temporary problem related to the day theme and not a permanent death.
Dark Sun, what choices have I...?
"I know you know what I mean, stop." I rolled my eyes at the chick, hanging onto Anat as she started away from the creepy fundamentalist who was probably gonna start proselytizing if we stayed any longer.
"What's with the flower anyway? Is it a curse, are you some kind of plant person, or...?" Given the bad feeling I had, it was probably best to pry now instead of later.
Near where the motorbikers and co had been, a figure lurked in a corner where it'd been carefully keeping watch. It looked almost like an ordinary young man, one that might even be faintly familiar to a select few, were it not for a sickly green complexion and matching glowing eyes. "...lib...rary..." the man? mumbled unnaturally, as though not used to the act of speech.
To its displeasure, it had no way of keeping pace with the one it'd been searching for, but with the shell it'd been given it comprehended what a 'destination' was enough to know where it might find him again. With a desire it could not explain, it slinked away.

Eve | Library | Pancake Shenanigans
Eve settled back and prepped herself a pancake, using far more syrup on her pancake than she did on Cole's. She ate it daintily with cutlery, smiling at what else was happening. She nodded, to Miss Tairee. "Nuclear weapons were banned a long time ago. It's what led to people finding other fields to weaponise." She giggled, slightly, watching Cole's attempts to eat it. "Try it this way, Cole," she said, rolling what was left of hers into a tight cylinder and eating it that way, the cutlery lying next to her on the couch.
Creed | Streets | Time For Business
Creed smiled softly, cockily. That was someone he recognised, simply as another nemesis. Not an ally, he wasn't worth that, but as a worthy resource to maintain, even if Creed simply threw him to the dogs to achieve his purpose. "Not yet," he replied, somewhat salaciously, "but if I know my prey, and I do, I know where she'll be. Yourself?"

"... You could stand by Nimbus for a bit" Louie said with a shrug, then moved to follow after the others.
Meanwhile up ahead, a man called out from somewhere nearby. "You know, five on one just doesn't seem like a fair fight" the thematically suited man
said as he stepped into view. "How about we even up those odds?" Captain America asked rhetorically as he flipped the shield around from his back into a hold and walked forward.
With a swift motion as he started to run, the shield was thrown out, slamming into Two's side and throwing her from Sae's back; the shield bounced hard and hit the opposite wall, where it bounced again right back to Captain America mid-run, who then held it forward defensively as he charged at Rean.
No sooner were the group coming into view of the grocery store, that they heard a cacophany of rattling gunfire coming from inside, as bullets wildly sprayed through the front windows, breaking what few weren't already broken. Phillip, sporting cuts and stabs and a few bullet graze wounds, staggered his way outside, firing back at something inside with his MP5. The telltale whumps and booms of a bolter gun were also coming from inside. As Phillip took cover, he spotted the two bikes coming down the street, and waved his arm outward. "Run! Fucking, run!" Phillip yelled, then part of a window frame was smashed down completely as Brother Marcus landed from a backwards boost, firing away with his bolt pistol into the grocery store. The bolt pistol clicked empty, and Brother Marcus magnetically attached it to his hip plate before switching his hold on his chainsword.
"I'M NOT DONE WIT' YUU YET SPAICE MAREEN!" a squeaky-toned voice boomed from kind of crude speaker system, as a seemingly poorly built, ten feet tall contraption of death and destruction
◊ came stomping into view from inside the grocery store, its gun operating in a way that could less be termed as, 'firing' and more as, 'spraying', as bullets came out in an unbelievably rapid rate, yet with an equally wide spread, as the machine's arm holding the gun seemed to be in a constant struggle just to remain intact.
Miss Tairee found it impossible not to giggle a bit. "It works a lot better if you use a fork and knife" Miss Tairee suggested. "Plus you won't get your hands as sticky with syrup" the librarian added.

Cole looked at Eve, then at Miss Tairee, as they offered suggestions on better ways to eat this...pancake, before looking down at the bit still hanging from his mouth, before...rather awkwardly, just opening his mouth to let it fall loose and onto his lap, still holding the other half in his hands. "...I don't think I know how this food works..." he finally said, grimacing a little.

Ow. Well, off she went when a disc slammed into her, sending her tumbling on the ground. Two took a moment to pull herself up, feeling the pain resonate all over her body. Damn it all, she couldn't let Sae get away when they almost had her...! For now she seemed content to just try to pick herself up, watching Captain America charge at Rean and Ben fighting with the Leviathan.
Zero, Grocery Store Stuff
"What if I told you it's just a fashion accessory?" Zero deadpanned when questioned about the flower growing out of her eye. "But I guess it's a curse, in some way. The way I got it, you'd think someone above did it only to laugh at me from their throne." Her grip on Lewis tightened - but this time it seemed more out of tension and anger than to get a rise out of him.
She realized she might be holding on too tightly and slowly relaxed her hands. "So I'm taking steps to deal with it. Well, I was before I ended up in this place." Speaking of ending up in places, one of the nemeses was a giant piece of ramshackled armor with a voice of a drunken fairy. Zero stared. "Let's listen to the guy. I don't feel like coming over there." She muttered, bracing herself to hop off Anat if the Killakan focused its attention on the three juicy not-nemeses riding nearby.
It might have been technically her ally, but Zero doubted that the friendly fire was turned off.

Hercules then saw Morty get trapped up on the roof but then Swishee saved him only to soak him from head and toe from being inside the Pokemon's mouth. "Up you come, Morty." Herc then said as he pulled Morty up to his feet.
But then Captain America arrived and attacked Two who was sent to the ground in pain and Herc could see that Cap was charging at Rean in plain view. Rean was gonna be hurt something fierce if Herc didn't do something. "Rean! Watch out! He shouted to Rean warning him of the incoming threat.
Having gotten used to people disappearing once they were injured badly enough, the gruesome sight of so many corpses was rather unsettling. Maybe that's why Rex had chosen to speed up a little, the last thing anyone needed was a reminder that things had somehow gotten worse. Making a stop to eat turned out to be not such a great idea.
Philip was there, and tried to warn them about something. The threat soon made itself known: some rudimentary robot shooting up the place. The way it talked made it clear his problem was with the local space marine. He wasn't really special in that regard. Naturally, Rex wanted to help—and show off—but the militia member in danger in this case just so happened to be a jerk. And Rex couldn't just watch and do nothing, despite Zero's opinion.
"Nah, sorry. I like to save people if I can. That's what separates the heroes from... the screwdrivers"
He really should have told Wells about it and let the chains of command take care of it. But Makoto probably wouldn't like that. And being passive aggressive felt good anyway. Speaking of, Marcus was also here. It seemed as if no one truly innocent was currently still in need of saving which was a slightly positive point.
Rex collapsed his bike and walked closer to take cover and assess the situation. The monster looked really flimsy for something that apparently deserved a warning.
"That thing's so rusty and shoddily made. I'm no engineer but, really?" he said, firing his cannon with a chunk of dirt from the floor. "That giving you too much trouble?"

It seemed like his friends were all having trouble keeping Sae from leaving, but Caboose couldn't really do anything about that. His gun simply wasn't enough to do major damage to Leviathan's body, and even he could tell that running right up to her probably wouldn't get much done. Everyone else had already tried just attacking her, and they had things more killy than fists.
But a new person came out of nowhere. The red soldier actually recognized him, as the shield wielder happened to be one of Sarge's favorite characters for reasons that involved a twenty minute speech about America that Caboose could never pay attention to for longer than a few seconds. Clearly things were about to improve for them!
And then Captain America threw his shield at Two.
"I thought you had better aim than that!" Caboose called out, still not understanding what exactly happened. It wasn't like accidentally hitting Two instead of the person she was latched onto was that absurd, after all. After all, some people (definitely not Caboose himself) could throw grenades at their feet. But then the superhero began to charge at Rean.
"Hey wait, he's not with the depressed robot shadowy lady!" he exclaimed, still under the impression that they weren't dealing with another nemesis... despite that, though, he would still shoot. Without really hesitating, because it wasn't like shooting someone was bad for them or anything, he raised up Freckles and began trying to shoot at Captain's legs.

He tried to get up, but he fell back down, dazed.
"All right, you asked for it, I'm gonna—" he started to say, when the Omnitrix started beeping and flashing red.
"I'm gonna run for my life, HELP!" he shouted, as the area was bathed in red light and Ben returned to his human form.
Ben, now vulnerable and terrified, shuffled on the ground away from Sae and the newly-arrived Captain America. He tried desperately to scramble to his feet.

Outside Library, Near Apartment Building
Well she certainly wasn't expecting the crystal man to turn into the child from earlier, but it was an overall pleasant surprise for Shadow Sae. Whatever transformation powers he had were limited in nature. And now that she had some backup...
"So it was you the whole time," she said to Ben, before an echoing laugh came from behind her helmet. "Not so arrogant now, are you?" She looked at captain America as he caught his shield, and she stood up straighter now that Two was off of her. "Yes, this game is much fairer now! But how about I raise your chances of winning even higher?" She pointed her sword at Captain America as he charged into the fight and used Heat Riser on him. His body pulsed red as her magic took effect, increasing his strength, durability, and reaction time even more than usual. She began to back away from the rest of the group, though she kept her gun arm up in case someone continued trying to attack her. "Let's see what you can do before that wears off..."
Grocery Store
It was just their luck to drive directly into a fight, though this one involved Phillip and Brother Marcus. As much as Makoto was still wary around the both of them, she wasn't about to ignore them either. It was good to know that Rex was on the same page as her. She let go of him and gave him some space as he changed builds and went for cover. She sprinted after him and ducked behind a car nearby.
"You might want to hide if you don't want to be caught in the crossfire," Makoto said to Rose and Lewis, drawing her gun and pointing it at the rusty mech. "We'll help you out!" she called out to Marcus. There wasn't really any obvious weak spot, but maybe she could destroy its sight by shooting at the mech's green "eye". Anat's engine revved as it glowed green, and then used Diarahan on Phillip to heal his injuries. Once Lewis and Rose were off of Anat, she could try a more offensive spell. After Rex fired his cannon, she peeked out from around the car and took a few shots at the mech to try to blind the pilot.

"W-w-what the - how the hell is-?" said Morty, staring down at the thing's beak. "What, you want me to just jump in its mouth? And you're not some evil clone, or doppelganger, or something trying to-" There was a groan as the metal gave way a few more inches; Morty looked down at his salvation grittes his teeth, and let go-
-and splashed down into the yellow gullet of the giant avian, gripping the side of its beak tightly as the bird flapped this way and that to get itself stable again. "Agh! Okay, just- and you're sure this isn't gonna eat me, right? Or try to kill me?" asked Morty as the Pokémon swooped in low for a landing. "Only - only because y'know, I have a bad track record w-with animals from other planets and dimensions."
