CoLC crossover RP, discussion

Here now, fully recapped. Sleep last night went rougher than I expected; but I made it home from that trip after work about half an hour earlier than I was expecting. I also realized I should run a load of laundry, so I decided with that all together, to take a short nap while it was in the washer; hence why I'm on later than I estimated last night. I'm still a bit distracted with it in the drier and waiting on having dinner, but I'm going to check on some things, and then see about starting on a main thread post.

@Makaioh (and to a lesser extent, Cole Minor and Skooter 910): You know, it's kind of unfair to me that you had Vambre do all this stuff that would have had NPCs that are at the hospital responding to it, (Dave in particular) during a time when you should have known that I wasn't able to post.

Now I have to either figure out some reason why Dave would've broken character and not gone out to yell at Vambre, (and possibly smash her face) or I have to force you to edit what you've already posted. =/

Thomas' magic was going on the brink and he had to deal with that?

@secretlyasuperhero: Dave was standing in the storage room with Arcade and Elias, helping them get some water. He would've heard Vambre yelling and smashing doors the same time that Arcade did; and since it's ostensibly Dave's hospital that she's smashing the doors of, he'd take that very seriously and get pissed off. There's really no reason with his characterization that I've established so far, that he wouldn't have immediately gone out to where Vambre was and start telling her off, which in character would've been happening at the same time or even before Arcade started talking to her.

So no, that as a handwave doesn't work. (Also the hospital doesn't really have any electronics for Thomas' magic to scramble due to the day conditions; so it doesn't really matter if his magic goes nuts.)

You guys can't just pretend that the NPCs are standing there twiddling their fingers between their lips and making blubbering noises just because I'm not online to post.

Got the issue sorted out on skype; I'll admit I was losing my cool somewhat earlier today.

Anyway, with that latest post I think I'll be calling it for tonight; I'm not heading to bed just yet, but I'm feeling kinda tired and I don't currently plan on trying to make another post before actually going to sleep. Tomorrow I have the day off and I'm sleeping in with no alarm set; therefore I'm not sure when I'll be getting online, though my current guess is that it shouldn't be as late as I got on today.

Just as a clarification, I made in Skype earlier but I'm putting here so it's more "officially" on the record, Despair's little sadness field isn't explicitly all that powerful, but I'm pretty well letting ya'll decide how you think it affects your characters. Shrug it off completely, cool. Be enough of a nudge to send a particularly emotional character into a crying jag, also cool. So long as it makes sense to you, works for me lol

Here now, fully recapped. Going to check on some stuff then start working on a post; since everyone who I currently consider to be in the T-Rex fight has posted, I'll go ahead and have a segment for that too.

I'm considering going out for dinner later, but I haven't decided for sure yet.

Boy, have I fallen way, WAY behind ... For the record, I am still interested in this, I just got caught in a massive writer's block, then in a cycle of having fallen behind and not knowing what to do about it and it just snowballed from there ... And now I have no idea of not just how to just her sitting out the entire Marcus and Kelsey situation, but arguably more so, not reacting yet to this one just now with Despair and all ...

@James Shields: Honestly, I'm not sure; maybe she just stayed quiet in her own thoughts, tried to contact Sans again, then moved out when the militia did but flew above the tree tops and got separated due to the city shifting?

Anyway, I better get going for tonight. Tomorrow is the extra long evening shift, and I don't expect to be getting on before work. As far as after work, I expect something to the tune of four and a half hours later than when I got on today.

Posting on phone during work break; I just realized while at work here that I had forgotten about Truth Hurts 22 in my last main thread post, again. >_<

Well, I'll respond to that after I get home and take a bath, which is probably going to be about three hours from now.

It happens, especially considering how infrequently I'm posting (and the relative importance of my thing vs. everything else).

Well yes, but it's happened twice in a row now; it's still unfair to you that the scenes involving your character are getting artificially lengthened because I'm forgetting to respond to you. In fact since your opportunities to post are less frequent than some of the other posters, that makes it all the more prudent that I should make sure you have the opportunity to post when it does happen.

Anyway, I'm back and fully recapped; given the above topic I decided to make a quick post for the church before anything else. I'm going to check on some other things, and then I'll start working on a new post / edit to that post for the hospital and T-Rex fight.

EDIT: Alright, well I best get going for tonight. Tomorrow's shift ends at the same time today's did, so I'll probably be getting on around the same time again.

Here now, fully recapped. Instead of taking a thirty minute break, I was allowed to clock out of work about forty minutes early, because it was slow. I'm going to check on some things and then I'll try to start on a post, though right now I'm both a bit distracted with laundry, and feeling oddly light headed, so it might be a while still.

EDIT: Alright, and now I'm gonna go for tonight; I actually meant to a while ago but got distracted with some stuff. Anyway, tomorrow I'm sleeping in with no alarm set, so I'm not sure when I'll be online, but it should be earlier than I was on today.

Here now, fully recapped. I actually woke up about two hours ago, but I was still feeling tired so I laid back down for a while. Anyway, I'm going to check on things and then try to work on a post, though I'm feeling a little writer's blocked at the moment.

A heads up to people that I'm tentatively planning on getting to the transition to Day 17 by the end of the week. Though I still need to decide what Day 17 is going to be...

But speaking of the week my upcoming work schedule: A somewhat double edged sword for me of an easier week due to fewer hours; which will mean more free time for the RP and such, but less pay. Anyway, first a somewhat long evening shift Tuesday, then a fairly short early shift Wednesday, a somewhat short early shift Thursday, and a somewhat long evening shift Saturday.

So once again, Tuesday I will barely be online at all, likely only having time for one post, after work.

EDIT: Kinda meant to have that post up earlier tonight, but I got distracted by stuff, and I've been feeling weirdly out of it today. Anyway, now that it's done I'm gonna get going for tonight. Tomorrow I do have an alarm set, because I don't want to be sleeping in too late; I'll probably be on earlier than I was today, by about a couple hours or so.

Much of the reason I'm taking so long to catch up is because me and my mom are planning to head to California to meet my sister during this coming week. The preparation is kinda sapping my creative juices and urge to do anything besides watch Youtube vids.

Well, I'm having an unexpectedly busy day right now. I was up when I had expected to, about an hour and a half ago, but it occurred to me that now was a good day to get a couple of chores done, including put my bed sheets and such through the laundry. So I'm done with the other thing, though now I'm a bit distracted waiting for laundry to finish; also in a couple hours or so I intend to run out to go get dinner, and then I'll have one more chore to take care of once I'm home. I'm going to check on some things and then maybe try to work on a post, though it seems like it's been a pretty quiet day today so far in terms of posting.

EDIT: Alright, quick post since I know people will be waiting on me most of tomorrow anyway, and I've gotta go for tonight. Tomorrow as I mentioned before, I'm pretty much barely going to be online at all. I don't expect to be online before work, and after work I probably won't be here until around four or more hours later than when I got on today- and I'll hardly have any time at all then, so I'll just be making one quick post and then going.

Here now, fully recapped. Got to clock off half an hour early instead of taking a half hour break. I'm feeling exhausted though, because we got slammed and were short a person too.

As mentioned, I can't really stick around tonight, so I'm going to check on some things, then start on a post and I'll be going for the night as soon as it's up.

Tomorrow I should be on much, much earlier, though I can't be certain how much earlier, since I might want a nap as soon as I get home. For reference though, the early shift ends about... Eight and a half hours earlier than now.

Here now, fully recapped. It seems I only have one thing to really respond to right now, so I'll get to that and it should be done shortly, just after I check on some things. Sleep didn't go so well for me last night, (in fact I'm not even sure if I fell asleep at all) so I'm planning on getting out of here extra early tonight to try to get more sleep tonight. Therefore depending on how things go today, I might only be doing the one post in the main thread.

EDIT: Alright, with that post I'm gonna call it good for tonight. I'm not going to bed right away, but I need to run out to the grocery store and to get some gas for the car, then when I get back I'll need to cook some food, and by the time I'm all wrapped up with that it'll be about or already past the time I want to be going for tonight. Also @Makaioh: I was going to respond to your signup today, but then I looked and realized it's now a completely different character that I don't have time to be doing another check of, so it'll again have to wait for tomorrow. Sorry.

EDIT 2: Just got home and remembered something; tomorrow after work I need to head out to get something done. When that will be done, again, depends on whether I'll need to nap, but at the latest I should still be on around the same time I was on today, or just a bit later.

Would it be alright to have Joel and the bots hunker down in an apartment and basically riff the roleplay like it was a book?

How do you suppose they will have the ability to see the events of everywhere in the RP from an omniscient viewpoint?

Cambot will be remotely hooked up to a television for them. It won't be everything at once, just what Cambot sees.
