Well since time in game has pretty much no direct correlation to real time, it's not like ten minutes are going to have forcibly passed for Ben without him being able to do anything because you went to sleep.

Also, if I may make a suggestion; maybe now that he's Grey Matter, he could remember and actually understand some of the stuff he read from Brother Marcus' armor.

Anyway, with Thrall's post there I have officially recapped the main thread. Since I suspect that pretty much nobody but me is online anyway I'm going to go catch up on some other things and maybe get some food before I start working on a post.

Oh, okay, I missed that ^note  I've been fighting off a really bad cold for the past three days or so, so reading comprehension is not at an all-time high.. As for carrying R&M, I was thinking of the whole proportional strength thing.

Well the strength isn't the only issue. Maybe a rhino beetle that big could hold the weight of five people and still fly due to proportional strength; I'm not sure, I'm not an expert on rhino beetles. I don't think that it would be able to, but I can't be positive. The other thing is the size and shape.

Given the shape of a rhino beetle, and the size of this particular one, I wouldn't trust that five people could all hop on board and manage to find handholds and such to all hang on. So even if it could still fly with that much weight on it, it still wouldn't really be an option.

Yep, you're correct; two people it is.

@Firock: He would have to have read the stuff on Marcus' armor as Grey Matter to remember it. As Upgrade he just skimmed past the stuff he didn't understand like one would skim through a book.

@Thrall: I see. Well, it was just a thought.

Anyway, with my latest post there I'm going to get going for the night. Trying to get to bed earlier than last night so that maybe when I wake up it won't already be so late that nobody is online. (Also I'm going to actually set an alarm, though I'll still be setting it to sleep in plenty.)

Also to elaborate on my schedule for next week, it's pretty tame though Wednesday again I'm pretty much guaranteed to be out until fairly late. I also have work on Tuesday and Friday which will be early shifts and thus I will likely take a nap afterward.

@Science-off: apropos forced upgrading, Alad V would no doubt attempt to infect everybody with some horrible sort of Technocyte Virus.
Question: Where would Salad appear? The library?

Normally new characters appear on the balcony but right now I don't know if it's covered in foliage or what have you.

Yah. I still haven't finished all the work I need to do, but I figured I may as well have gotten that quick post out of the way.

@All Hail Thrall: I just noticed a tiny error in one of your posts. If Ben already met Charmcaster that means he's at least near the end of season 2 when he already had Cannonbolt and Wildvine.

I'm not complaining, though. Cannonbolt is my favourite alien and if this means he can appear on the RP, great. Though Firock would need to accept him first.

Oh, whoops. For some reason I thought Charmcaster was in the first episode with Lucky Girl. Whatever, I screwed up the continuity earlier as well (I had stated at one point that Gwen already had her spellbook, which is inaccurate).

What should I do? I don't want to suddenly say that Ben has two new aliens... but I also don't want to completely screw with continuity.

@Deis and Thrall: I don't know, that depends. It'd probably be easier for me to accept Cannonbolt and Wildvine once I knew what they are; and them getting nerfed if need be. Otherwise the only real option is to go back and edit posts/pretend that Ben never brought up the topics he wouldn't have known.

Well, I can already tell you they don't have reality warping powers.

@desdendelle: I'm uncertain from the wording you used, but I take it Alad has appeared inside the library? If so the only error was the "plethora of people".

Right now there's about four people inside the library, and one of them (Alice) is off on her own, on a completely separate floor from the other three.

Anyway, recapped the main thread. Gonna see about making a post now.

@Loco: Unless you want me to decide what he runs into, I'd just as soon let you handle it yourself. In an RP like this I know there's a chance that me throwing an encounter at someone could actually be interrupting something they were planning to do themselves.

Cannonbolt is large (about 7 feet, here is an image of him to scale with Grandpa Max) very top-heavy (and thus Ben has trouble standing with him) but he's very durable and strong. His primary method of attack is to curl up into a ball and roll at people, Sonic Spin Dash style.

Wildvine can grow and alter his body to stretch his limbs into vines, can jump into plantlife and merge with it to camouflage himself, and has a Healing Factor.

As for him saying that he only had ten forms earlier, I'll just say he forgot about Ripjaws (because he was very situational) and Wildvine (because he's the newest) somehow. Or he was just stressed from being pulled into another dimension against his will.

I think I've seen at least one episode with Cannonbolt. Those should be fine.

Well, this'll be the first time (maybe) that Gon doesn't join in the fight unless there's a good reason to do so.
