To put it bluntly:
a) The name doesn't really apply to the character whose page it is - Carol Danvers a.k.a. Captain Marvel - and hasn't been used by her for over three years. Her solo film is going to be titled Captain Marvel. Anyone who new to Carol, only knowing her through the Marvel NOW comic run or her film, is going to be confused.
b) the name is now being used by a wildly popular Legacy Character, Kamala Khan, and it shows. When you type 'Ms Marvel' into the search bar, it comes up with Kamala's page and her character page before Carol's. It's not her name any more, it's Kamala's. The page name should reflect this.
Therefore, I would suggest renaming her page 'Carol Danvers' and keeping 'Ms. Marvel' and 'Captain Marvel' as redirects.
