"Yeah, well when I invade you, I'll be sure to keep your little princess there nice and safe in a cage." Growled Bowser, gesturing towards Kitana.

"Speakin' of, Dad, I'm noticing that the human ladies here are a lot better to look at than Peach." Roy said. "Think we can kidnap some of them while we're out and about?"

"We'll see, kiddo. Have to conquer Skull-face here first." Bowser sat back down and pat Roy on the head. Then he noticed the primates and growled. "Oh great, if it isn't Mario's stupid pet ape. And I see you've brought friends. Fantastic. At least I know who to come after when I'm done with Kahnny boy here."

What is so amusing about this? Why do you take lives? How can you forget?

The Captain silently chuckled, taking out a warm cup of drink from under his coat and looking side to side. The giant turtle is talkative. The gloomy skull person is talkative. And then there's the giant robots, little girl, emo-goth person, and the monkeys.

This is going to be an interesting year, he thought as he sipped from a straw.

Shao Kahn-The Common Room

Shao Kahn ignored this latest outburst from the dragon, knowing he did not need to respond to it. This, of course, is because Kitana was not one to take that sort of insult silently, and she got up out of the chair, glaring daggers into the Koopa King

"I believe you will find I am not some mewing princess who meekly summits to fools like you. Perhaps you will be the one placed into a cage when my father is finished with you, assuming anything is left to put into it. Or perhaps he will let me keep you as a pet. I may need to get a rather large leash fashioned for someone as large as you, but that will not be hard."

"My grandson ain't anyone's pet, Bowser!" Cranky said to Bowser, threateningly pointing his walking stick at the king of Koopas. "Especially not to Mario!"

"And just try and come at us!" Diddy said. "Ole DK'll bulldoze through everything ya got!"

Donkey himself merely grunted, pounded his chest, and flexed his arms to emphasize to he be ready and willing to take on Bowser anytime, standing up at his full height of nearly eight feet tall.

At Kitana's comment at keeping Bowser as a pet: "Now that be hilarious to see, sister!" Cranky commented.

"I'm afraid there's nothing like that, but believe me: there's plenty of weird things happening in Tokyo right now. Not including all of this."

Leader of the Resistance? she thought, That must mean he's in charge of the Far West section. It might not be immediately advantageous, but it couldn't hurt to learn more about the other groups. Besides, John Conner wasn't the worst looking man in this bunch.

"So if you're a resistance leader, who are you resisting? There's plenty of political unrest on Earth, but I couldn't begin to guess where you're from."

Meanwhile November had been watching the bizarre escalation between Koopas, Outworlders, and now (of all things!) apes with a small smile on his face. It definitely didn't make sense to ask for any of their help; they'd probably take any interjection as a challenge and boast about how they'd grind his bones to make their bread, or something like that. But there were others who might make more interesting conversation.

Like the gas masked figure! November turned towards the Captain and offered him a cigarette. "I trust you're enjoying yourself as much as I am?"

Hei had not made a sound. The only significant movement he made was to stare directly at Dracula. Giant robots aside, a vampire (if he really was a vampire) was definitely a threat.

"Oh, yes. Thank you for the cigarette."

Taking one out of the box, and sticking it in a port without taking off the mask, lighting it with a small quick gesture.

"This are some amusing place we have been thrown in. Plenty of-ahem- interesting individuals to see and meet!"

"Like I'm going to be intimidated by a half-naked woman and a monkey." Bowser crossed his arms. His lips twitched, and he realized he could not bring himself to breathe fire at them. He just couldn't think "So save it for the actual fighting. We still have to do whatever this... thing that brought us here wants first. And then I can crush you all."

Roy, meanwhile, eyed Kitana up and down. "Feisty."

The Common Room

Monkeys, more robots, even a vampire that looked surprisingly similar to her dad, the whole thing was getting more and more fascinating with each new entry. Not even that, but conflict had already started between the different groups. Whatever was the intention of the being that brought each of them there, it was already very amusing. Nonetheless, there was such a high number of simpletons in that room that no doubt they would be very easy for Iris to manipulate if needed.

"Kidnap?" said Pamela, raising an eyebrow at Roy

"This is such a mess..." said Eifer, sighing in disdain.

Common Room

Any consideration for the nuances and scuffles of the organics below them were quickly forgotten once the three Autobots took notice of the Decepticons. The ache in Ratchet's old war wound made perfect sense to him now that he could see the scratched out Decepticon insignias emblazoned on their chassis, and the old veteran of the Great War was the first to react, beating out even the nimble Prowl.

"Decepticons!" alerted Ratchet, extending his electromagnets and pointing them at the larger Decepticon with the impressive rack of metal "horns" atop his head. "Look out!"

But his electromagnets stopped deploying halfway through their extension, stalling for a moment before retracting back into his arms. Ratchet backed off, staring at his arms, startled further by their malfunction.

Seeing that Prowl had chosen not to act, Optimus reached up for the compartment holding his axe.

"Don't bother," said Prowl, calmly looking over each Decepticon in turn. "It's a nullification field, or something close to it. Master Yoketron would deploy them when conducting an exercise where naked force was forbidden. Any offensive action is useless. Even so much as a punch thrown will have its strength robbed to nothing."

Optimus's hand remained hovering over his shoulder.

"And it'll work for all of us?" asked Optimus, receiving a nod from Prowl before relaxing his guard, lowering his hand at last. If what Prowl said was true, all the Autobots stood to gain from attacking would be embarrassment. Even without the field, Optimus had doubts they would prevail against what looked to be battle-hardened Decepticons. Ratchet grumpily followed suit, crossing his arms and returning to Optimus's side, glaring down Thunderhoof. The loud and blunt Decepticon was definitely the most physically imposing, but Ratchet knew full well that the most dangerous Decepticons were the innocuous ones who offered one hand while arming the other.

"How do we know this isn't all them?" the medic asked. "Maybe this whole meeting was engineered by these Decepticreeps?"

"Why don't we ask them?" answered Prowl, giving a slight shrug to Ratchet's incredulous look and returning his attention to Fracture. The Decepticon carried himself with a confidence hard-earned, at least in his mind. He could see it in the way his red optics flickered, almost imperceptibly, taking in anything that could threaten him, yet holding a smug expression and holding no tension in his stance. He found himself looking forward to testing that confidence proper, once free of the field.

Optimus Prime's thoughts, however, were focused on their apparent leader. The grey Decepticon wasn't the largest or the most obviously armed, but he was certainly the one calling the shots. It would take an enormous deal of charisma to wrangle a group of Decepticons to acheive anything, from what he could tell from the history recordings. And now, out of the archives, he was standing before one, in the mesh. The Decepticon was a predator, no doubt, but seemed content to remain seated, calmly giving an unnerving smile. Seeing that he had a seat of his own prepared, Optimus saw little other course of action to break the ice than to take a seat, staring down Steeljaw. If this was to be a negotiation, he was only going to get one shot at asserting himself.

"What do you mean "together", Decepticon? Because I'm not exactly in the habit of trusting you with my back, whatever circumstances we might be in."

What if there’s no better word than just not saying anything?

"Looks like whoever's runnin' dis joint had the right idea 'bout fightin'," said Thunderhoof as he watched Ratchet try and fail to deploy his magnetic weapons. In the spirit of scientific exploration, he slammed one of his feet on the ground, only to be met with a disappointing tink of metal lightly tapping against metal. He muttered something under his breath and leaned back against the wall, only to be met with the disapproving stares of the Autobot trio.

When Ratchet threw the word 'Decepticreep' around note  Steeljaw flinched and pretended to look hurt. "Come now, Autobots." he said, tap-tap-tapping one of his claws against his bent knee. "Aren't we past the need for that kind of language?"

At first glance, Steeljaw had thought that the nimble black-armoured Autobot would be the one in charge. Or, at least, that was what he had thought until the little red-and-blue runt spoke up. Typical Autobot attitude: confrontational, accusatory, swaggering around the room as if he owned the place. "I mean, we are in the same boat, aren't we?" replied Steeljaw, his metallic ears drooping. He extended both of his hands, palms up. "A mysterious message written in perfect Cybertronian, a mysterious portal to this room, surrounded by... by..."

"Humans?" put in Fracture, absentmindedly picking a bit of dust off of his staff before re-holstering it. "And animals, whatever." He flicked a dismissive finger at the recently arrived Kongs.

"Oh, believe me, Autobots," said Steeljaw, tapping his chin in what looked like mock-philosophical discource as he stood up and slunk around the room, apparently locked deep in thought. "If I were in your positions right now I'd feel the way you do. Confused. Angry. Frightened." He stopped right in front of Optimus's group, his long metal tail scraping against the floor with every movement. "And I'm sure that I'd probably want to shoot the first Decepticons I saw, too. But you have to realize that we're in this predicament together. And don't we both want to return home in one piece?" He turned his attention to the map for a few seconds, scanning it for points of interest, before turning back to the three Autobots.

Thunderhoof didn't say anything as Ratchet stared him down, but simply cracked his knuckles and shrugged his shoulders, his massive head rolling backwards in his neck socket. "So we gonna play nice now, capisce?" he put in, a few seconds after Steeljaw had finished his little speech. The unspoken threat, unsubtle as it was, hung in the air.

Shao Kahn-The Common Room

Kitana, who noted one of the smaller Koopas eyeing her up, and then, hearing his comment, scowled under her mask. "Disgusting cretin!" She attempted to draw her fan blades, but failed, as the strage magic preventing weapon use affected her too. This was noted by Shao Kahn, who attempted to bring out his own weapon without success. He had not heard of such magic before. Strange, and more then a little annoying.

Meanwhile, another group entered the room, whose presence was announced by a large man with a Texan accent, and two vicious looking blades at his hip. "Well, lookie what we got here! Now don't this look interesting?" He asked the two behind him. One carryed a pair of Sais in his hand, and the other held a long staff that appeared to be made intirly out of artificial arms, which were gripping daggers on both ends. All of these three were composed of very little in the way of human flesh (although one might debate about whenever or not the woman's midsection was real or not), being for the most part completely artificial body's.

"Now, which one of you do I need to speak to so I can talk business?" he asked as he looked around, the three of them assuming the robots were some new type of UMG and the more inhuman members of the group some odd type of custom cyborg bodys.

Akiba

Where once was a featureless and flat rocky plain was now something drastically different. Verdant growth was now sprouting forward, moss and trees and vines and flowers- all sorts of plant life growing splendidly and verdantly. The skeleton of a half abandoned metropolis with great skyscrapers came forth, and if ones from the many various planets of modern day earth were to see it, they'd be able to eventually recognize it as the eponymous Tokyo itself, albeit at half its size. Paved asphalt roads leading to the city itself could be seen branching off into a great web that stretched towards the boundaries of its lands, just as taken over with lush vegetation as the rest of the place. Instead of the sounds of vehicular traffic and advertisement, one could only hear the wind flowing through the glass and stone husks, rustling the leaves of the many treetops dotting the place and providing a warm, moist breeze.

And yet, the location wasn't quite as abandoned as it appeared. Cheery smoke plumes puffed out from various parts of the city that seemed more fixed up than the surrounding buildings, and every now and then people could be seen walking about the streets. However, they were not wearing school uniforms nor business suits of the salarymen. A diverse group of people that looked like they came from a fantasy novel traversed the mossy roads, donning themselves with things such as heavy armor and crystal topped staves while visiting marketplace stalls. Some were short in height and wide of shoulder, others the opposite being tall and slender. Others had animal ears and tails that weren't a decoration, seeing as they twitched about much too fluidly for it to be costume parts.

And yet strangest of all would be the various multicolored floating menus that dotted the place, coming to existence and then disappearing just as abruptly. It appeared everywhere, though many were centered in front of the fantasy characters themselves, showing off a list of text and numbers that vied for attention. It was almost as though a video game was brought to life given that it sported things such as levels and classes and strange user ids... And of course, it was indeed the truest adaption of real life video game one would ever witness. The city of Akihabara (shortened to Akiba by its players) had come to Battleworld.

Standing atop one of the various skyscrapers near the edge of Akihabara was a blue haired person towards the horizon. His coat were an immaculately snowy white that flared about at the legs and were kept via a clasp on his chest which was in contrast with the sort of modern day looking clothes he was sporting underneath, consisting of a dark colored turtleneck over green cargo pants. In his hand was a strangely carved wooden staff that was taller than he, with the person being was a lanky individual that was one head above the height of an average man. At his side was a leather bag from which various potions and apparatuses could be seen poking out. His face sported a pair of moon shaped glasses that added to the intellectual glare of his eyes, which were narrowed in thought. All in all, he was one that people would easily say that he was or at least looked like a magician, even if he wasn't as traditional looking.

This man was Shiroe, who goes by many names- though the most commonly thought of one was inevitably "Villain in Glasses". Given that he looked and acted like a stereotypical villain as depicted in the media, always plotting. A part of that is true, given that the Enchanter was indeed someone who planned in the long term, moving people about like puppets and chess pieces. And now... the Villain was seeing an entirely different horizon, one that didn't match the geography of Elder Tale nor of that of the real world.

"...In short, another life-changing event where we're transported to who knows where again... And after we've been settled down." Sighing and keeping his calm to this absurd occasion happening for the second time to him, the modern day spellcaster turned about and began head towards the Guild Hall with a tired pace. "Best call a meeting now and keep the panic to a minimum before things get out of hand... again." The long suffering sigh that only those high up in the chain of power could pull off emanated from his tall frame as the human turned half-Alv reluctantly resolved himself to fixing yet another giant problem that cropped up, hunching his shoulders forward and rubbing the bridge of his nose in exasperation at all the paperwork that he would have to look through now. "It won't be long before word spreads about too... Calmness is going to be scarce once people realize what happened..."

And then, a loud shout broke through his grousings. "OI, SHIROE! THERE'S A STRANGE PORTAL THAT POPPED UP IN OUR LIVING ROOM THAT'S NOT A FAIRY RING!" When going to check the outburst, the magician seemed a bit flabbergasted at seeing that there was indeed a dimensional anomaly swirling about.

Staring silently at it for a few moments, Shiroe then checked his items for things such as Return Home scrolls and healing potions ready, just in case it led to a particularly ornery dungeon. Nodding to himself and his large armored friend whose shout told him of said appearance of the thing, the two old friends went through without another word. They were veterans after all, and it wouldn't do to have the young ones wander through. Best to scope it out themselves. Behind the two more obvious people, a dark and tiny shade flitted behind them. Using a special technique to hide both presence and visibility, the last member of the group literally walked in the shadows of the first two, keeping her eyes out for any threat like the ninja archetype she was roleplaying as. What the three came into was a room... one filled with mecha, dragon turtles, vampires. Those were just the most eyecatching ones too. Remaining quiet for the moment, the Adventurers kept an eye on the proceedings to see where the winds blew.

The Kong took a moment from taunting the Koopas when they noticed the three newcomers. The ones with the Texan accent and the sais did not grab their attention, but the woman definitely drew surprised looks.

"Is that lady using.....prosthetic arms as a weapon?" Cranky said, incredibly weirded out her weapon of choice.

Donkey Kong took a more direct approach in his observation by actually walking up to the woman and grabbing at her weapon to have a closer look at it.

Unfortunately for Donkey Kong, the room's internal peacekeeping systems determined his attempt to grab and examine Mistral's weapon as an attack, and he would find himself unable to grab it. Mistral glared at the ape, and tried to slice him apart in retaliation, only to find herself restricted as well. Sundowner, meanwhile, approached the large ape, waving his hands in an attempt to shew him away.

"Hey, hey, that's close enough! That there is property of Desperado LLC, you keep your hands off! Now go on, skedaddle already!"

"You're saying you're willing to cooperate? Simple as that?" asked Optimus, watching the Decepticon walk back and forth, his tension gradually giving way to curiosity. Every line of every piece of written Autobot history had taught him that Decepticons were not to be trusted. He doubted he had the luck to run into an exception. Still, in the current situation, there was little harm in hearing him out.

But regardless, the moment he was back to Iacon he would have to immediately report them to the Elite Guard. Assuming they would be willing to hear him out at all.

Ratchet maintained his careful watch on the Decepticons, not trusting them for a nanocycle, while Prowl seemed to feel the situation was safe enough to turn his attention to the smaller members of the meeting. Looking them over, he quickly surmised who appeared to be some of the less outright threatening members of the gathering; Iris and her companions.

Crouching by the small, unassuming girl, he carefully raised his hands to indicate he wasn't a threat, despite being three times her size.

"Easy there. My name is Prowl. I'm an Autobot from the planet Cybertron. By all appearances, it seems we are all scraplets caught in the same magna-trap."

"Skynet," was John's answer, Cameron and Bob turned their heads forward to where Misaki was sitting in a instant, staring right at her.

"Skynet is a artificially intelligent computer system, when the system was activated it drew one conclusion, that humanity would seek to destroy it and thus it retaliated. Using nuclear weaponry to launch it's first strike, it wiped out most of humanity. Several billion lives lost in a instant."

John sat back and sighed, "But humanity persisted, and now Skynet had trouble, humanity had united, against it."

Bob continued, "To counteract the Human resistance Skynet constructed a humanoid line known as Infiltrators, or Terminators. Early models were simple and used rubber skin, spotted easily. Until the success of the T-800 line, a cybernetic organism, a powerful robotic endoskeleton with living tissue grown on top of it."

John nodded, "What do you deal with in weirdness on your end Misaki?"

Common Room

"Of course, of course. You're a very well trained Autobot, asking these kinds of questions," Steeljaw purred, as if talking to an angry and skeptical Autobot were the most natural thing in the world. "I mean, the war is over, isn't it? We've all moved past those ugly days. We've buried our grudges. Although I'm sure that some of us keep a shovel nearby... just in case." He chuckled softly at his own wit.

"Call me Steeljaw, by the way. And aren't we all just Cybertronians now, anyway?" He gestured to the scratched remnants of the Decepticon insignia on his shoulder, by way of explanation. "Think of me as a friend, if you want. Or at the very least, an expatriate trying to find his way home."

Maybe it was a gamble, trying to win over their trust this early on. But this Optimus wannabe seemed naïve, maybe too idealistic- and perhaps a little too trusting. And if you were an Autobot these days ,that could be a very dangerous quality when you were dealing with Steeljaw.

Most of the Autobot leaders he had gone up against could at least recognize him as a threat, however minor. Then again, this nullification field was preventing the Autobots from actually acting on their urges. All he needed was a bit more time to state his case, and then... well... who knew where he could end up? All he knew was that Iacon- Iacon! was on this new planet, this muddled, mixed-up amalgam of other worlds from Primus knows where. A fitting seat of power for his new Decepticon utopia.

He had the goal in sight. All he had to do was maneuver the pieces in just the right way.

"So who's runnin' dis little show anyway?" asked Thunderhoof. "'Cause if dey ain't showin' up soon I'm gonna take matters inta my own horns... wit' or wit'out this slaggin' field!" He struggled to ball his hands into a fist.

"Haven't you heard of patience, Thunderhoof?" Fracture didn't even look up as he fine-tuned one of his many tools. "We wait 'til they show up, find a way around this pacification field, and then we get to go home."

Misaki stared wide-eyed at John Conner's story. A nuclear holocaust sparked by a paranoid AI? She had no solid evidence that he was telling the truth, but the Doll-like man picked up the story without missing a beat; at the very least, it meant they had rehearsed a false story beforehand. But given the circumstances it didn't seem like they'd have much of a reason to lie.

So she might as well be honest. "Your world seems to be in a much poorer state than ours, but at the very least you know the cause and have something to blame for it. From what I can tell, we still don't know more than a fraction of the reasons why a large part of Japan and Brazil suddenly became inhospitable; why some people started gaining supernatural abilities at the cost of an action, their personalities, or even their memories; why the very stars suddenly disappeared and were replaced by lights corresponding to these super-powered individuals. And we definitely don't know why a chunk of South America suddenly disappeared a few years ago. Maybe they came to a place like this."

November smiled at the gas masked man. Normally he'd hate to be in a situation where he could get second-hand smoke (smoking a cigarette as a price for his contract was bad enough!), but this was an extraordinary circumstance that required extraordinary action.

"Honestly, I am quite excited to meet the host of this little get-together," he said to his new acquaintance. "Someone interested in gathering so many—interesting individuals in one place must have something more than a death wish."

Meanwhile, Diddy decided to walk up to the representatives of Akihabara. He was then looking at them up and down with a contemplative look on his face. "There's a familiar vibe about you guys that I can't quite put my finger on....." he said. "What's your world like?"

"Sounds rough actually. Terminators are notorious to deal with and might as well be super powered. I mean I met up with a Terminator that had internal weapons as the time travel device didn't allow inorganic matter to travel to the past," John noted.

"Perhaps Misaki knows one of these super powered individuals, they may be a threat to us in the long run, Termination is-" Cameron began only to be cut off by John raising his hand.

"We have other concerns, such as these newcomers. Uncle Bob?"

The large one turned to lok at Desperado and did a quick analysis, "Cybernetic shell bodies. Largely synthetic, noted melee weapons and increased reaction times seem likely based on the construct of their bodies."

John sighed, that would be difficult to deal with if they ever went to war with anyone else.

Sundowner grinned and waved at the ape as he walked away, seemingly satisfied that he was able to chase him away.

"Why couldn't I attack him?" Mistral asked the other two.

"Eh? What do you mean?" Sundowner asked.

"She's right. Right now, I am telling my body to throw my sai into the ape's back, but it is not responding. Very strange."

"Eh. Dumbass tech's probably broke something." Sundowner said, waving it off as he noticed the chair with his name on it. "Guess we're gonna be stuck waiting for the asshole who dragged us here without negotiating the paycheck first to show up." The three took their seats, Monsoon closely examining the globe in front of him while Mistral leaned on one of her hands, now extremely bored and annoyed. Sundowner, meanwhile, was not so passive.

"Alright, since we ain't been payed by whoever brought us here, and they don't seem to be here yet, Desperado LLC is now once again open for business! You want something dead? Something blown up? "H-Hello..." she asked, feigning a timid persona "Wow... Is technology really going to advance to that level someday...?" she said, now changing to a look of genuine curiosity.

Eifer then took a better look at Prowl, was it truly an independant machine, or was it being riden by someone? The looks indicated the former, but you could never be so sure in such a crazy arrangement of people.

"Who's your creator?" she bluntly asked "You're a machine, so you must have been created by someone."

Pamela, meanwhile, decided to focus on watching the others. It seemed some of them were already trying to make alliances, others were clearly antagonistic to each other. No doubt they all had considered the possibility of war, even then, it was still hard for her to take in everything that was going on around her.

"Either that, or he wants us to make love rather than war," November deadpanned. "That was a joke.

"But in all seriousness, I would prefer an effort in joining forces against this ringleader rather than playing gladiators for his amusement. Don't you agree?"

Meanwhile Misaki had gone silent after the Doll-like woman suggested terminating Contractors; things could get ugly if she learned November and BK-201 had these special powers she considered a threat.

But now there were the cybernetic hitmen to worry about. Misaki didn't have the slightest intention in hiring them—there were far too many Contractor assassins to deal with—but a request for hire offered a chance to learn more about them; something that might prove useful if they were all stuck in this place for a long time.

"What makes you think you're qualified to work for us?" Misaki asked the Desperado leader. "What have you done to earn our interest?"
