Chapter 54 was a thing. I don't know whether I should put this under spoilers considering it was released a few days ago.

If Asta could break the seals on those guys' minds why didn't they have him do that earlier. We get introduced to all the captains and also a traitor subplot that might be immediately concluded next chapter. It doesn't have any oomph because we were just introduced to three new characters anynd we barely know anything about almost everyone there. If the traitor isn't William Vangeance, then color me impressed because right now it's looking so obvious.

It's pretty obvious this guy's being set up so far.

Honestly, Vangeance is so ridiculously obviously a bad guy I'm partially convinced he's a red herring.

So uh, this chapter doesn't pick up on last chapter's cliffhanger. That's pretty frustrating.

They're still fighting Vetto who is a pretty cool antangonist. After a string of pretty cool chapters aside from the filler one with Gauche, we get another solid chapter...until the end. Noelle gets to be a badass, we get more mystery with Vetto, and Asta randomly comes to block Vetto's monster magic even though the last arc said couldn't block something like that.

With Bleach reaching it's end do you think this manga can gain some attention?

From what I read on forums and charts, this series is pretty popular already. Bleach ending probably won't change anything considering it's not nearly as popular as it was back then.

That is true I love the style this series has makes it different from Fairy Tail which people will likely compare it to besides Naruto.

Yep, as part of the online SJ release. I'm less interested in the battle going on just now than I am in the cost for restoring Asta's arms.

It's really suffering from breaking away from the standard cast to focus almost entirely on a group of characters introduced in a Light Novel.

Yeah, same. I had know idea were these characters came from until recently. Frankly, I'm waiting for the deal with the arms. Maybe it'll be another glimpse of Asta as an interesting character before the shoots himself in the foot again.

Oh wow that's weird & huh this series got a light novel? I've been meaning to catch up at some point but its weird hearing about that.

So Studio Pierrot is doing the anime. I can't say I have much faith & looking to what they did with Twin Stars we can expect a lot of filler & additions. Though this is a long running shonen with pacing problems as one of its main flaws so maybe filler might do it some good though I wouldn't hold my breath in that regard.

In the latest chapter(96), the viz translation is slightly different.

The viz translation uses "their" instead of "his" when the queen speaks of descendants.

It's okay still. Asta still annoys me. Last arc had way too much stuff going on.
