Pilot Information

  • Name: Victor "Dingo" Auron
  • Race: Transhuman
  • Faction: Seed Esper
  • Appearance: Tan skin; brown hair; orange irises; claw scars on the back of left hand and up the arm; unusually sharp canines (reminiscent of vampire teeth); reasonably muscular for a pilot, eyes glow in low light; wears dark grey pants, a shirt bearing mock tribal markings, and an armor-collared cape; pilot suit resembles a mix between a drivesuit and Blaze Champion itself.
  • Personality: Calculating, Vetinari-esque, respects skill, pragmatically sarcastic, relaxed when not piloting
  • Abilities & Skills: Expert knife-thrower, decent marksman, skilled schemer, sneaky (when he chooses to be), sharp eyesight, excellent reaction time,
  • Equipment: More throwing knives than he knows what to do with, a belt with "enough" pouches (seven, to be exact), a silver pocket watch, three magazines of silver-coated .40-caliber bullets, one extremely nondescript pistol, two vials of unknown silvery liquid
  • Backstory: Ah, hello there. My story writer has stepped out for a moment, so allow me to tell you what I can about myself. I am Victor, of nowhere special, from a once-boring life. One time, in fact, it got so boring that I decided to just up and leave... Oh, they can tell I'm lying? Umm... er... Alright, fine. I was part of group of people selected to be in the testing program for Blaze Champion, due to my not-quite-human body. Some of the other Transhumans weren't quite the right type for the maneuvering. The few Skyblazers there fared at least as well as me, though. I was chosen to pilot Raziel based on my pragmatic style, using what I could find, and utilizing what was already part of the mech in ways I was never meant to. I've seen combat against two "major" Eldritchians and helped fend off quite a few smaller ones. I'm told that my face didn't change at all when I first fought an Elditchian, but that might just be press, because I'm fairly certain my face changed to an "OMGWTF" express for a few seconds. Regardless, that Eldritchian didn't live long enough to manifest a face for expression. I had no idea that that much mass could smell so bad... Eugh. For whatever reason, I decided to pick up knife-throwing along the way. This has yet to be a Chekov's Gun. I take up new side jobs whenever Seed Esper doesn't have me out on assignment, so I can at least find a good restaurant now and again. That being said, I have three weeks worth of ramen stored in my Mech, just in case. It's an idea that I picked from a certain friend of mine, going by the name Samuel.

Mecha Information

  • Name: Blaze Champion-00 "Raziel"
    • Type: Mixed-Range (M-Armour) VESTA, "Legendslayer" Edition
    • Appearance: Angular, with a primarily mid-dark cyan coloration. Head resembles a cross between a Fallen and a Samurai. Body resembles Jehuty of Zone of the Enders. Customized with the personal sigil of Victor, two crossed bat wings beneath a gold gladius, on both shoulders, along with the numbering "56-4" just beneath. Green-cyan Tron Lines travel across the entire mech. The eyes glow gold. Parts of the arms are covered in glossy, dark red "scales". Two main "wings", the forward boosters, jut out from the back.
    • Personality: Run by the EGRETT program, a combat-oriented program for the highly mobile pilots. Rumored to be based off of the legendary Magnus V. O'Malley, but this remains unconfirmed. Insured for 30 years of continuous combat. Is also a massive d*** when it finds it to be funny.
    • Capabilities: Champion posses a base medium armour, designed to take at least a few hits, while still allowing for speed. Additionally, the cockpit is centrally located and is reinforced with a layer of a metatron-charged titanium-tungsten alloy. Hexagonal "scales" on parts of the body grant additional maneuverability, especially when using the Anubis-type limbs. The thrusters positioned all over Champion's body allow for both absurd speed, and impressive dodging abilities. The top speed has been clocked in at at least 400 miles per hour. Excellent sensor range and lock-on capabilities help pilots react at high speed. An advanced reactor gives the mech plenty of power to spare. The alternate form changes Blaze Champion into a ultra-high-speed jet, as the majority of the thrusters are now clustered near the back. The standard, lightweight alloy armor can be exchanged for a heavier reactive armor that pumps the attacker full of six million amps, or an "absorbative" plating that absorbs incoming energy and stores it towards the next attack.
    • External Equipment: In the style of the classic knight, Champion carries a wrist-mounted energy blade and a 200° frontal projected shield. Possess the following auxiliary weapons
      • Burst Beam: A charged, linear-accelerated, back-mounted rail cannon. Victor wants big boom.
      • "Hypertorus" Modular Disc Launcher: A quick-launching, magnetically-holstered, variable disc launcher. Think "spinfusor", with more options.
      • Metatron Pulse: An internally-mounted, momentary overcharge. Compatible with all weapons, and induces additional effects in some weapons. Strengthens improvised weapons, such as poles and structural plates.
      • Anubis-Type Reinforced Joints: Allows for bare-handed melee attacks. Works best when used in conjunction with a knowledge of martial arts, such as Krav Maga. Can also be used with Improvised Weapons.
      • Champion's Roar: A radial knockback weapon, based on the famous words, "GTFO". Uses psychic energy, as expected.
      • "Harvester" Psychic Lance: A front-facing lance of psychic energy, for skewering the unworthy. Designed for use in jet form.
      • Mk 9 Laser Chainbeams: Wing mounted, swiveling laser miniguns. More Dakka, less waste. Designed for jet mode.
      • "Angry Old Wizard": Seed Esper's codename for an external, psychic energy-based cannon. Bolts explode upon impact with the target. Carries enough charge for four shots, and then needs to be recharged.
      • "Wisp" Ranged Capture Device: A set of "pods" that fly out of the left arm and grab the object of interest inside a metatron-boosted psychic field, and return said object to Champion. Good for grabbing teammates in danger, or for objects that are otherwise to far to grab.
    • Creation Background: It was realized by Seed Esper that heavy, tanky Mechs lacked something special. Sure, a pilot could take an Eldritchian sucker-punch to the face in some of the Titan models, but it would be better to avoid the hit all together. The initial testing was... messy, to say the least. The human body, even when modified, was never really meant to experience multiple, massive bursts of acceleration. But Seed Esper pushed on, convinced that the right mix tech and transhumanism could fix that. First, the test pilots were outfitted with a newly designed suit. Then, the seat was given a number of impact gels and harnesses. A suitably strong reactor was designed, built, and improved until it was stable enough for actual combat. The AI was made with a base structure, then modified per pilot. The weaponry is most commonly explained as being the product of the lead designer, Sanji Miyamoto, having a rather intense fever dream. With the Champion, a peculiar customization was made, specifically to the joints, to allow for human-like degrees of freedom and mobility. Once all final improvements were made, the first mechs of the Legendslayer line debuted in early 2000, and have seen plenty of combat since then. They remain a top-of-the line-choice for pilots who prefer agility over armor.

Does everything seem in order, sera?

Well, the only things I have to point out is that there's no vague psychic energy globs (so you want to specify telekinesis) and there is a difference between AI & AGI in that the first is ultimately limited whereas AGIs are fully sentient. Seed Esper doesn't know how to make True AGIs so...

Other than that, accepted and go post an establishing moment for him. I won't be updating for a little while, so you should make that post before I do.

I'm just putting it here to give you a rough idea:

Well CACHE would try to avoid finite weapons such as explosives and kinetic guns, cause you'll end up burning a lot of resources that way trying to kill humongous abominations. Though so far it seems good to me, though I suggest adding some details regarding his opinion on the various notable elements of Destiny Drive.

Well following the first Eldritchian attack the Skyblazers were basically all shepherded to Elysium. The main cultural clash is that the Skyblazers only mark of maturity is successfully piloting a Gigan, though being so extremely human is a serious point of topic. So ultimately, humanity applies a lot of their own standards against the Skyblazers, assuming said humans don't think killing them would appease the Eldritchians.

Though yeah, things are looking good, and I'm hoping for more detail on the Skyblazer friend.

Yeah, CACHE treats them well enough. In fact two members of the CACHE Council are Skyblazers. Though I do have to wonder, but how exactly would one feel if their biomech transformed and combined with another unit?

Well in the case of Ultimo the transforming limits itself to getting in a more compact form much like a cockroach rolling up, so that the 'backpack' isnt nearly as big as the Armor itself. And no biological merging is done, only some mechanical hoses and hinges connect to both attach them and enabling them to share their internal systems such as coolant and live support. So neither party should feel pain from this.

Edit: Also could you please add another file in 'Wolrd' further explaining Gigans themselves so I know for the future how much Bio and how much Mech they actually are, because from your comment I guess the 'Bio ' part makes up much more than say the 'Bio' part in a Seelie.

Well Skyblazers are connected to their Gigans so the power amplification would take hold. Regarding Gigans, essentially think of Evangelions in that both have a whole feedback thing going on.

Not for standard Gigans, though admittedly the standard Gigan is just a giant cyborg body. Mainly that's because they were created to make one's abilities more effective, thus features the Skyblazer didn't have weren't included. Though upon arriving on Earth they allowed more such features. Thus a Gigan could transform, its just rather disorientating in most cases.

Does that exclude Mistrals Gigan because tecnickly speaking in my head I imagine him less transforming as much as getting in a crouched stance to save space. Like Folding his legs and arms while swiwelling its weapons in a more desirable position.

If you saw Godzilla vs Mechagodzilla II, there we have Mechagodzilla and Garuda performing something similar. With Garuda going from its standard flying position in a nearly vertical position. Then its cockpit and weapons swing to the 'now front' (in the original flightstate that would be down), the whole thing then docks to Mechagodzilla, giving him two shoulder cannons.

To give another idea, here the Seravee Gundam with the Seraphim Gundam on its back that also somewhat what I meant, gundam.wikia.com/wiki/GN-008_Seravee_Gundam. The upper bazookas are Seraphims arms fold back (this wouldn't be the case with Ultimo) and the lower two black things are his legs folded to a kneeling position.

Also is that connection between a Skyblazer and his Gigan a two way connection, like does (s)he feel pain when the Gigan is damaged, like in Evangelion or is it only one way, allowing some sort of 'wireless connection' to control the Gigan.

Should be perfectly manageable in that case. Regarding Gigan connection, the Skyblazer would feel the pain since they need to be fully connected for the whole power amp thing to work. Though as part of their training a Skyblazer learns to ignore pain.

Okay, I'm trying to clarify this in my character sheet then.

Ver IV is up now.

  • Pilot Information
    • Name: Sergey Smirnov
    • Race: Human
    • Faction: CACHE
    • Appearance: Slender and tall, short black-brown-ish hair, a large scar over his left eye is a constant reminder of one of his past battles.
    • Personality: Normally reserved and collected his temper quickly shows when he sees an attack on innocent civillians. He remains mostly neutral to Eldrichians and thrusts in the command of CACHE to do the right thing, as such he strongly feels that Höchste Einmal is going to far. D For him the military should serve and protect the people, as such rejecting and even attacking all Eldrichians even if they pose no general threat is something that he never could willingly support.
    • Abilities & Skills: He is an exceptional pilot and is known for being one of the best strategists.
    • Equipment: He mostly wears a standard issue beam pistol as his sidearm. Though for emergencies a custom made machine gun firing 7.62 mm depleted uranium rounds at a speed of 30 rounds per second - the Freischütz is stored in the cockpit of his mech, should Blitzkrieg be serverly damaged preventing him from continueing to fight.
    • Backstory: Born AD. 1987 and having been raised as a normal child in Elysium Sergey saw the arrival of the Skyblazers as a child, and - being around them from that point on he never could quite grasp the reasons for the tensions between humans and Skyblazers, even befriending one named Mistral. Both went to school and later pilot training together, there they quite often sparred together with both trying to outdo the other, with Sergey being a slightly better pilot while Mistral due to her pink hair and silver eyes being able to create potent illusions. Because of this it was discovered quite early on that Sergey not only was an exceptional Armor pilot but also could create battle plans and strategies way above the quality others in his class could. Both very quickly gained their own units because of their exceptional abilities. Sergey for a long time piloted an old 1st generation Armor which he fitted with the usual energy weapons, but somewhen in 2007, Sergey and his unit were send to Egypt to protect a convoy of refugees and scientists from an Eldritchian. Though not long after they located the convoy they were ambushed. While fighting valiantly they were nearly completly wiped out in the following battle. It was then when a stray shot partly destroyed the hull of the reactor of Sergey's Armor along with its cooling systems. As the last survor he singlehandedly fought the enemy in his damaged Armor while nearly being cooked by the resulting heat in the process. After the battle was over Sergey, despite being on the verge of fainting due to the heat, escorted the convoy to the next city in his badly damaged Armor, the moment when they passed the borders of the city the Armor shut down from overheating. If Mistral wouldn't have been there with her own unit and being able to quickly cut open the cockpit Sergey quite possibly would have died that day. This particular incident let not only to his Ace status being confirmed but also to a for a CACHE pilot very unusual fighting style. While his Armors retained energy weapons as his main weapons his Armors from then on sported quite a few missle-launchers due to the fact that of all weapons missles produce the least heat. To this day he still has a haunting fear of dying in the cockpit while being cooked alive. Aside from that though his status as Ace only strengthened. But it was not his exceptional ability to pilot or strategise that made him rise through the ranks but his reliability to deliver results. Today he often works together with Mistral, who either creates baits with illusions or renders enemies helpless while Sergey accomplishes whatever mission is at hand. Though he normally works with her he has shown on many occasions that he is more than capable of accomplishing such feats on his own. Mistral herself, being a very laid back person seems to mostly enjoy contact with others, while being taught in the Skyblazer culture she also has learned quite a bit about human culture from Sergey, while she due to this, will not behave as arrogant as other Skyblazers to non-pilots she still shares the common feel of pity towards humans.
  • Mecha Information
    • Name: Blitzkrieg
    • Type: Prototype High speed Assault Seelie
    • Appearance: Being somewhat 12 meters tall the Blitzkrieg has a slender design belying the fact that he is quite well armored. He does look mostly humanoid in shape. He is painted in a dark grey with shining gold ornaments on his wrists, neck and chest areas.
    • Personality: Blitzkrieg runs an an AGI called Mireille, while being fully sentiend she usually leaves most of the piloting to Sergey and is mainly responsible for controlling the Armors internal systems and sometimes the drones. Though she is fully capable of piloting and even fighting in the armor alone. Which she certainly did in the past, the exact reasons why she behaves that way and mostly leaves the piloting to Sergey is a secret only known to Sergey himself. Personality-like she seems prone to chattering, even in combat and will always sound more or less cheerful. This makes her somewhat of a contrast the the mostly silent and reserved Sergey.
    • Capabilities: Having been build around the purpose of deeply penetrating enemy territory while inflicting as much damage as possible this Mech is an agile speedster with many vernier thrusters. On the same time his designers wanted to prevent that it was completly defenseless. He carries 2 shields for defense. His main armament consists of 4 beam swords integrated as pairs on his shields, 6 large scale plasma-cannons placed on two 3-tube sockets on his shoulders, 4 anti-capital missles placed as pairs on his shoulders, 16 small missles placed in four 4-tube missle launchers in his shields. Also the Blitzkrieg carries 8 small drones on his hips each having installed a small plasmagun, all of wich can be send out to act as either point defense or attacking device. Lastly both hands carry a beam pistol used for surpressing fire and point defense.
    • External Equipment:
      • Additionally to his own backpack the Blitzkrieg is able to mount a 'Sturmangriff'-Variable-Booster consisting of a large scale propellant tank coupled with either 3 large thrusters for long range travel or 10 thrusters for short range speed bursts. In either case the booster can be purged when the fuel runs dry.
      • Also, when it is in support-mode (that being folding both arms and legs to save space and swiwelling his weapons to its sides) Ultimo (Mistrals Gigan) can be used as a backpack of sorts, giving Blitzkrieg additional 6 plasma-cannons which will show on the sides of Blitzkriegs chest. Additionally to those the 'Nightmare-chains' Ultimo uses To better accomodate for Mistrals talent to create illusions Ultimo uses rocket propelled wires connected to himself. All wires have a spike on their end designed to penetrate armor. This connection is used to strengthen Mistrals ability to create illusions. While Mistral is capable of creating illusions without this, the connection enables her to create much stronger and potent ones. are also available for Blitzkrieg. Also Blitzkriegs and Ultimos systems will be coupled in this state allowing one to accomodate for system failures of the other.
    • Creation Background: Requested personally from Sergey Smirnov on the basis that it should be able to assault vital bases and headquarters deep in the enemy mainland. Thus the engineers at CACHE created Blitzkrieg, incorporating artificial Eldritichan muscle tissue to make it more responsive to the pilots commands, while he as is has no Variable System plans for upgrading him are in the works.

Gave Mitral a (tiny) little bit of a backstory, though I plan to give her more.

    • Capabilities: Having been build around the purpose of deeply penetrating enemy territory while inflicting as much damage as possible this Mech is an agile speedster with many vernier thrusters, his maximum speed is close to 100 km/h. On the same time his designers wanted to prevent that it was completly defenseless as such, while not being impenetrable he is quite good armored out of his 60 tons gross weight nearly 12 tons (1/5th) is dedicated to armor.
    • Loadout:
      • Additionally to the armor itself he carries 2 shields for defense.
      • 4 Type RTS-3E 'Ritterschlag' Plasma-swords, installed in pairs on both shields. These allow the shields to be used in a fashion similar to claws or spears.
      • 16 Small missles placed in four 4-tube missle launchers in his shields. Used mostly as a distraction one of these missles alone will at most cause medium damage to the average target, as such they are more used to weaken the enemies defenses than to inflict actual damage, though when used against lesser armored weakspots on the enemy they still pose a threat.
      • 6 Type DKG-1W 'Dicker August' Large scale plasma-cannons placed on two 3-tube sockets on his shoulders. These act as the main ranged weapon of the Blitzkrieg and either is able to inflict devastating damage when used correctly.
      • 4 Type JGT-4A 'Judgement' Anti-Capital-Ship-missles in pairs on both shoulders. Used as kind of a bunker-buster one of those missles alone is able to destroy a large-sized battleship with one solid hit. They are either used to destroy whole enemy bases or highly armored behemoths.
      • 8 Type KNB-5R 'Königsberg' Drones mounted as sets of 4 on the hips of the Armor, each drone has a small plasmagun installed. They can be send out and used as either a point defense weapon or in a more aggressive way to attack from very oblique angles, to suprise an opponent.
      • 2 Plasma-pistols. These mostly are used for point defense or to lay out supressing fire. While their raw firepower is not the best they have a high rate of fire and a low heat output. Also their weight is smaller than that of other hand mounted weapons allowing for a more fluid and agile style of combat.
      • Also, when it is in support-mode (that being folding both arms and legs to save space and swiwelling his weapons to its sides) Ultimo (Mistrals Gigan) can be used as a backpack of sorts, giving Blitzkrieg additional 8 plasma-cannons which will show on the sides of Blitzkriegs chest.

Also as a last question, how does Ultimos armament hold up?

Also as somewhat of a last question, from what I see most if not all 'Germification' if I may call it so seems to come from Höchste Einmal, and I while working for CACHE have quite some as well, will that lead to any problems?

Also how should I introduce me properly in the RP itself, any tips?

Nah, there's plenty of Germans involved with CACHE. Regarding how to introduce your character... Well the first post you can use to establish him, such as showing a flashback, his thoughts or his reactions. Regarding a "plot line", I've been meaning to introduce the Destiny Driver (the Destiny Drive 01 equipped Seelie) so... Perhaps he could start off at a space station waiting to escort the Destiny Driver and his pilot, with Vitality Underground space pirates trying to break in?
