Jesus christ NO ONE is talking about this! not even 4chan!
Is it THAT banal?!

What are you referring to?
‘My ignorance is just as good as your knowledge.’I think that's just a side effect of the franchise making a relatively recent resurgence, and that the series wasn't exactly promoted. Especially after the initial premise was revealed, I think.
Seriously, they did nothing to promote this series. The only reason anybody knew anything was by looking at sites that licensed the series.
My friend didn't know about it at all until yesterday when I told him about the new R Ms.
The Protomen enhanced my life.Yeah but even 4chan had like 2 threads on this and barely any of tem talked about it. resetera other sites, no one is even making a whiny 'they ruined my childhood!' defense. That's what i meant by my question. Like...jeez
Who's getting this show will die in a month or two? Knowing the odds, it's likely.
MIAThe show's probably towing the mediocre line so hard that no one cares enough to complain.
If a tree falls in the forest and nobody remembers it, who else will you have ice cream with?Given it's at a 6:30 AM Sunday timeslot I doubt anyone will watch it enough for it to get renewed :(
The Protomen enhanced my life.Unless Hulu runs with it. Kind of a shame. It just seems average with shoes to grow into, and some fun (and not so fun) ideas.
"Throwing Shade Part II" To answer someone's questions, Robot Masters in this show don't have weapon names, (It's just "Activate ____ Man schematics!") so Hypno and Blasto don't have weapon names. Maybe some fans will redesign them for games and name their weapons.
This makes sense, to be fair. Weapon is just a function of a robot, why would it have separate name? You don't say that fridge had Blizzard Chamber or that hair dryer has Blow Cannon or that toilet has Flush Drain.
Idea that weapons effect Aki's personality is interesting - it reminds me of headcanons people had about Ben 10. Although it will only matter if every evil robot Aki will fight will have some unique personality flaw.
Also, Mega Man will apparently keep every power he scans for good, so that's neat.
OK, Suna can be useful by using drones to...uhh, maybe in other episodes.
Actually, Mega Man turning angry and mad with power does resemble what happened in Archie comics, during MM 1 and MM 2 adaptations.
"You know how ridiculous you look with your loser face?"
"Not as loser as you look with your ridiculous face!"
Banter is...terrible. Like, it's MOA and I've expected bad but this is beyond my expectations.
"Powers are replicated, not stolen" Mega Man says digital piracy is A-OK.
Totally-Not-Night sure is quick to declare this brand new hero to be soul and spirit of the whole Silicon City.
Ok, another good thing, message of peace and unity. At least they realize what's suppose to be Mega Man's main theme.
Me and my sister watched the episode with Drill Man and the one with Hypno Woman.
We felt that the "inherits personality issues and/or weapon problems" gimmick is going to get old pretty quickly. I think me and her also briefly talked about how Hypno Woman's design, no matter how I look at it, still doesn't quite fit her gimmick. She looks more like an evil angel, a gimmick that would have worked too. Granted, she might have been designed to look like that so that she could have an appearance that comforted students (whether it works or not is kind of arguable).
IIRC, the next time it comes up is the Air Man episode and it's pretty annoying there. Probably my least favorite episode.
‘My ignorance is just as good as your knowledge.’I still don't get how any of the cartoons based off the Classic Series can get Air Man's appearance so blatantly wrong.
I mean, the Ruby Spears one came close, at least, but ended up giving the character a really weird menacing face instead.
For those curious.

IIRC Ruby-Spears Air Man had a head because it was hard to animate him talking without a mouth.
FC!Air Man doesn't even have the color scheme right.

The Protomen enhanced my life. The design is not bad however. It just does not look like Airman.
It would probably fit a plane or helicopter based Robot Master, but not Air Man. Heliplane Man perhaps?
Maybe Gyro Man? I think FC Air Man matches BN Gyro's color scheme as well.

‘My ignorance is just as good as your knowledge.’He looks more like Windman.
hey, where can i watch mega man fully charged? i don't wanna get spoiled.
MIALegally? On the Cartoon Network App.
It also airs on TV weekly on Sunday at 6:30 AM, and I believe reruns are on Boomerang.
The Protomen enhanced my life."Drilling Deep" Well, Drill Man looks fine. I'm not into show's humor or animation but I'm actually fine with designs.
So this time, new weapon causes Mega Man to spin out of control, even when he's not using it and then they fix it anyway. So it's less of "each weapon has a weakness" thing and more of a Red Kryptonite plot of a week. And next episode's weapon has to weaknesses. So there goes an interesting concept.
I know this is a CGI show about robots, but that doesn't mean it has to feel inorganic and artificial. The whole part in school feels really stilted episode drills into out help how Aki is embarrassed and doesn't' want help but then learns it to get help, yadda yadda and he gives pep talk to robot that in some really poor way connects to his backstory. it feels like rejected My Little Pony script.
Occasional 8-bit graphics are actually kinda charming.
Drill Man's background really links poorly with episode's lesson but you know what links even worse? His rampaging. He's mad that his dad forced him to be drill bot so he's...rampaging what? Fire Man's temper issues get pretty meaningless if other bots will wreck city with even worse reasons for it. Not to mention that if robots will start menacing the city at the drop a hat like some kind of Mavericks, then Night's position actually seems pretty reasonable.
Also Drill Man has father? How does that work?
I feel like all episodes will end with robots escaping because otherwise they might have to stop and realize that they're being ridiculous.
"Videodrone" Aka standard mass hypnosis episode aka someone thought it's a good idea to give mass hypnosis powers to robot psychologist aka animators weren't told how glitter looks like.
What, Hypno Woman doesn't get 8-bit flashback?
Wait, from what school is she anyway? Apparently not this one, which is a shame because it would be nice to meet robots before they snap.
Actually, I don't have much to say about this one. Standard mass hypnosis episode.
Gotta set up a Rogues Gallery somehow.

Found new episode titles and summaries, including another new RM!
"Episode 11 - Unfriendly Competition
Aki must set aside a petty rivalry with Bert Wily in order to stop Chemistry Man from wreaking havoc at Silicon Central's Field Day."
"Episode 12 - Opposites Attract
Fire Man and Wave Man team up to evaporate the city's water supply, forcing Mega Man to team up with an ally of his own: Suna."
I suspect episode 13 will have a Mid-Season Twist and introduce Namagem. Going by promotional art, Elec Man and Cut Man will also appear down the line.

The Protomen enhanced my life.
Oh.
Sarcasm is hard to detect on the Internet. XD
Speaking of new female characters, though, this upcoming pachislot game has a female Dr. Light and 2 new girl robots, Trancy and Coin Woman. (And cool character designs in general!)
