She dodge some of the shots and block some bullets but the shots that land inflict some damage and knock her down.
"Argh !"
Shrugging off the bullet, she animate the shattered debris as two large hand, whom try to close on Joshua and crush him, applying pressure afterwards.
The hex is nearly fully charged and the ground glows intensely as she makes some barriers.

Ah, fuck, I thought it was a boss fight against Male!Red Cloak or whoever the hell that guy is (at least, that's what I was hoping it was). Might as well switch out or just outright gtg if Josh is gonna hog the spotlight here...
BE!Pietro vanishes into thin air. It seems it was merely an illusion and not the real deal...
Meanwhile, the hidden observer, Nyriss, clutches her head in pain.
"Dammit! Well, guess that cloaked asshole is just gonna have to wait..."
Cue her firing her mechanical eye's laser beam function at Josh's back.
*Noting that Destruction happens to be preparing something, Joshua decides to set up a precaution, the ground beneath him burning bright blue as a symbol is burnt into it. It seems to be a representation of the concept of Life... Joshua stands smack in the middle of said symbol, reaching out to each side to push his passive Barrier out to meet the the debris crush attack from Descendant. The sound of glass being put under strain can be heard... aaaand eyebeam to the back due to Joshua being too preoccupied to dodge, even if he either could or would.*

The hex is blinding now, and melt into the ground. Descendant quickly makes multiple tough barrier, spot Nyriss, and send three barriers to Nyriss.
Buying time, she forms a large sword of light from thin air and manipulate it to attempt to slash Joshua in a vertical slash, the sheer power of the sword is enough to make a cliff appear in the arena, so it could be taxing on defense.

Taking careful aim, Nyriss fires an Arcane Beam at Josh.
*Upon the vanishing of the male Red Cloak, Joshua just sort of freezes in place, staring at the area around where his target vanished, and letting his arm-analogues drop to his side-analogues. He continues staring for a few seconds.*
"What a boring finish for him."
*He turns to return to battle, and promptly receives the brunt of a giant-ass sword straight to the face, which seems to tear away hard enough at his Barrier to actually shove him back, forcing him to land on the molten ground below him and sending him careening backwards, the ground splitting apart where his body is dragged through it. A small ravine is formed solely from Joshua, in his current state, tearing through the land backwards. And yet despite this, he still somehow manages to find the time to be hit by the arcane beam. Although, once the dust clears, he just sort of rests there and... slowly stands up. The barrier around his body has visible cracks running all over it, although it hasn't broken just yet.*

*He stumbles to his feet, taking a moment to find his balance, then glances around and shrugs.*
"Well, I was gonna kill that guy, but he... kind of left. Bit disappointing of him... anyway."
*Beat*
"You two up for battling a little longer? Think I can spend a bit more time around here, and, honestly... I kinda wanna see what it feels like when the Barrier shatters."

"NOW !"
The hex and blue ground appears as the descendant shield herself to the max, with the three barriers firmly staying in front of Nyriss. A gigantic blue explosion, shaped like a cross,happens, totally engulfing Joshua if he doesn't get out quickly, with the cross towering above the whole arena.
Multiple beams pop out of the ground all around the place, destroying trees, houses and putting holes in floating island alike.
The spectacle last for ten whole second and by the time it stop, the whole fighting arena is barren and nothing short of scorched, with the barrier of the female RC being badly damaged by it. The descendant's barriers witstood it but even them, in spite of their powers and the fact that they were three, looks like they could be easily broken now.
The descendant lays a knee on the ground and take several deep breaths, glowing blue at random spots.

Shadow of Legends
Tess sees the massed area-effect attack coming, and in the nick of time, she breaks into a jog, then a run... and warps out right before she can get hit by the attack. Apparently, she's not as keen on seeing what it does to her.
"We can handle what is true, for we are already living it."
"Guess that's a yes from her. As for me..."
Cue Nyriss firing off a barrage of missiles and laserfire at Josh.
The Vagrant
Talk about a major fuck up, insect.
If Joshua bothers to look right above him, he'll see the sinisterly grinning figure of the Red Cloak, who has an intense and powerful weapon aimed at the being.
...And, within an instant, a very deadly beam of concentrated Destruction is fired right at Joshua.
Shouldn't have dropped that guard there.
And this, folks, is a warning to all future Red Cloak fights: do not drop your guard.
...That soon backfires on him when the Descendant's attack occurs.

*In strong contrast to Testarossa getting the fuck out of here, Joshua seems to sort of just stand there, hold his arms out to the side, and almost embrace the coming attacks with a grin.*
"BRING IT!"
*First off, the missile barrage and lasers. They blast away at his shield exactly like one would expect missiles and lasers to do so, the Barrier flickering at each impact, the cracks spreading even more across it. Joshua still doesn't mind.*

*Next up, the male Red Cloak's attack, the beam of Destruction scorching brightly and seeming to start to burn away at the Barrier, Joshua's grin fading slightly as if he's slowly realizing that actually, he may be in more of a bad situation than he initially thought. Nonetheless, he steels himself for the next attack to come.*

*And then Descendant's attack hits him with full force, sparking off against his barrier and shaking the very earth itself with how forcefully the two powers collide, whatever's left of the land virtually being reduced to naught but a barren wasteland. Remarkably, if one looks closely, one might be able to see a green CRITICAL HIT! floating above roughly the area where Joshua happened to be standing at the time of the attack. Seems that the ultimate attack got very lucky in this one particular instance... hell, crits have virtually NEVER happened before. The sound of an achievement being earned can be heard.*
Alpha Triggered - land a critical hit on Joshua
*After the time for which the attack has burnt through for has been used up, the smoke begins to clear. Suddenly, in a gust of wind, the clouds part... revealing Joshua standing there, eye-analogues visibly open wide in astonishment. He doesn't even seem to care about the fact that he just survived an attack which pretty much nuked the Arena to pieces, too focused on the fact that he got CRITTED. After quite some time, he closes his eyes, coughing quietly. Blue fluid splatters the ground... it seems he got legitimately injured in spite of the Barrier.*
"...Well... that happened..."
*He just stares blankly at the ground beneath him.*
"...You know... if I had been in my normal, human-looking form... that attack right there would almost definitely have killed me just now. Trust me. I felt the part where the Barrier should shatter just pass me by.... heh. Well... I feel like giving you all a finale attack of my own. But... I'm not even sure if I'd last long enough to prepare something truly spectacular..."

She makes some sign, an hex appear above Joshua, say, 7 feet above, and try to blast him with a magical pillar.

The Red Cloak, after the Descendant's attack, just breathes heavily.
...I wasn't... expecting that.
He appears badly injured, and the remnants of his last-minute barrier instantly vanishes.
Heh... I'm still standing. Might as well finish this off.
He floats away from Joshua, before readying himself, making intricate gestures...

"..." A crystaline, huge bear appears behind Joshua, just as a Lapis appears in front of him. "..."
Deciding to forego any attempt at a fancy attack, Nyriss just launches an Arcane Orb at Josh.
"...heh..."
*There's a rather anticlimatic blatt sound as the arcane orb and the pillar of light simultaneously impact with Joshua's body. The sound of glass shattering can be heard as the last vestiges of power holding the Barrier together shatter.*

*Joshua just stands there in silence for a moment. He shivers, body seeming to start to fall apart with each second that passes. Stepping backwards, he bursts into flames and tries to teleport away, only to end up reappearing beside the barriers made by the female Red Cloak, then stumbling backwards and sliding down onto his butt. He just sits there for a moment.*
"...So... that's what it feels like..."
*He stares blankly ahead of him, even as his body continues falling apart. After a few seconds of thought, he reverts back to human-looking form, sitting up and leaning back against the barrier. His gaze is now fixed into looking upwards at the people he just finished fighting against. Then... he chuckles.*
"Guess this is my second death here... heh... it's kinda peaceful..."
*He falls to one side, reaching out with a hand to steady himself. Said hand promptly turns into blue crystals, shattering into little fragments. He shakes his head and sighs, turning his head around to look at the barrier behind him.*
"...heh... How about that, then, Red?... no, wait. That isn't actually your name... heh... well... Don't ask where I heard this, but... well... how's that for a death..."
*He closes his eyes, well aware that in a few moments, he's going to die. As the crystals reach his head, he utters one last word.*
"...Lilith..."
*And then all that's left of him is a vaguely humanoid-shaped pile of blue crystals, faintly humming with blue energies.*

Despite currently being at a loss for words, Nyriss' mechanical eye nonetheless fixes its gaze on the crystals and scans them.

Lapis looks at Uro, then the earthen space around the crystals begins to smooth, seemingly slowly morphing into marblelike stone, albeit shwoing multiple clear colors.

She just sighs.
"Farewell..."
The descendant grabs a sword and holds it thoughfully, eyes closed.

Meanwhile, the crystals will probably be surrounded by a red energy and moved to the colosseum, to be put in a coffin near RC's throne, who looks pretty sorrowful, even if her face is hidden by her hands.

*A scan of the crystals, just before they're taken away, should show that they seem to be charged with some type of power that could be potentially used to restore another's mana-analogue... and that there's also a fractured soul bound to the collection.*
