"We won't hurt you, humph."

Gilbert, still shaking, slowly opens his book to a section about Interdimensional Anomalies.

He whimpers a bit as he points to a part of it that discusses occasional instabilities that result in rifts to other dimensions completely opening.

He nods.

"Did you encounter any of those?"

Gilbert's response is a slow nod.

"...Brian t-told me that he'd protect me in here..."

"I guess he fell on one of those and landed here."

"Brian ?"

"Where is this Brian?"

*By this time, EN has accidentally dosed off and leaned to one side. She's still sitting on the tree branch, and could have dozed off on Shadow Labrys's shoulder if she still happens to be there.*

Brian pops into existence above Gilbert, visible eye shining.

"I'm here!"

Gilbert just slowly points to Brian's floating form, still nervous.

He looks up at him.

"Ah, there you are."

She looks pretty unimpressed at Brian.

"Why would you call me, anyway?" Brian asks curiously, handing a glass of milkshake over to Gilbert, who takes it and stares at it dumbly.

Well, I'm quite happy to keep being EN-913... and I've kinda had her fall asleep on Shadow Labrys's shoulder.

@Bolded:How about Ain, Hakumen, or Cinke?

Nicole is going for a walk near wherever the hell everyone is.

Hakumen is nearby.

And by "nearby", I mean, he's sitting across the top of the mountain, far, far away from the group.

"I always know where the kiddo is, don't worry."

Brian just grins.

"Anyway, I'm off for now. Stop scaring him for me, will ya?"

He snaps his fingers, and he disappears, leaving Gilbert alone.

The young kid is still holding the milkshake and his book.

"..."

Looking down briefly at Gilbert, he shrugs.

"Say, do you have any special powers?"

"N-no, but..."

Gilbert takes off his backpack (that hadn't been there before), and opens it, revealing a bonanza of different objects.

"...Brian gave me these in case I get in trouble. He... even gave me a house to stay in..."

@Bolded:No problem.

Nicole eventually reaches the others, save for the far-away Hakumen. Once there, she leans against a tree for now and checks her phone for any important texts or missed calls.

He leans over to take a look at them.

"Interesting. I've been sort of interrogating you so far, huh. Is there anything you would like to know about me?"

Hakumen may notice Smile and a small group of Kaibutsu gathered nearby.
