Zeta quickly dashes to Siccily, and attempts to fire a powered Plasma Blast at her.

Alderoth just nods a bit.

"I'm... fine..."

"Well, then why did you attack Pietro before Zeta knocked you out?" Wanda asks Alderoth.

"Are you just gonna stand there or are you gonna help Zeta?" Pietro asks Alpha.

Seriously, though, why did everyone just gang up on the Maximoff twins like that until Zeta arrived?

Siccily quickly rolls over, and sends a mental bolt towards Zeta. On hit it would have no effect if Zeta is fully machine. If she had human parts though, it would bring a distracting memory to the surface of her vision.

Because everyone but them had Metatron, and Metatron really wanted to spread itself?

Alderoth frowns.

"The Metatron... must've overtaken me..."

Zeta, meanwhile, is not at all affected by the mental bolt, being a full machine.

She then fires a Plasma Blast at Siccily once more.

Alpha hardly seems to hear Pietro as she's gazing, enraptured, at what Siccily's become, as though... as though she's seen her God.

Yeah, I'd go with "just stand there".

Hazama isn't infected, he's just spreading it for the lolz.

Then, Siccily lets out a mental roar. One that echoes through the metatron infesting her and into the air. Which erupts as a blast of force that blasts Zeta's plasma apart. Oh shit the Metatron gave her telekinetics.

@Syme:Still seemed kinda unfair, given that the Maximoff aren't exactly boss-level characters. Or I could just be bitching at this point. Still, it would've been nice if Pastry had stuck around to lend a hand.

"I thought you had learned to resist it by now," Wanda asks Alderoth. "How could it have overtaken you so easily?"

Pietro sends a Dope Slap at the back of Alpha's head in an attempt to snap her out of her trance. "Are you gonna help your friend or not? Zeta is your friend, isn't she?"

Alderoth frowns.

"The music..."

He bolts up.

"The music amplified it!"

Zeta, meanwhile, veers away from Siccily, and tries to lay waste to her with a barrage of Energy Blasts.

Alpha blinks and shakes her head, partially snapped out of her fugue state brought about by her Metatron resonating with the others', especially Siccily's thanks to her telepathic powers.

   Uh, yeah, I, uh, only just got here, what's been... you said she's- what?!   

Truth be told, she can still hardly hear herself think over the Metatron resonating in her head.

"I guess we'll have to see if Zeta can't further increase your resistance to it, then," Wanda says to Alderoth.

"Zeta, your friend, is busy fighting that evil little girl over there," Pietro says to Alpha, groaning. "Could you please go help Zeta while my sister and I tend to Alderoth?"

Another mental scream echoes through the metatron. Erupting as a wave of force that washes towards Zeta. As for the energy blasts, Siccily rolls to the left to avoid them while sending a message through the metatron.

"Help me."

Zeta is blasted away by the mental scream, before she quickly charges right back at Siccily, throwing multiple bolts of Metatron at her as she comes closer to the blue-haired girl.

Alderoth, meanwhile, just looks on with uncertainty.

"Help... Zeta first. I can... take care of myself."

   Uh, what, I haven't-   

Then the mental shriek blasts through her, closely followed by Siccily's mental plea... frozen, she looks from one to the other, wondering what the hell is going on, trying not to let her eyes get stuck on Siccily again...

Why are they-?! They're both-

And that snaps her out of it, and she dashes forward...

"What do you think Pietro managed to get that other girl to do?" Wanda asks Alderoth. "Besides, Zeta seems to be holding her own pretty well so far."

Pietro watches the current battle, hoping that Alpha was gonna actually help Zeta.

The bolts slam into Siccily's body and cause her to stumble back. Only for the blasts to...meld into her flesh. The metatron within the bolts empowering her further. Raising a palm, Siccily closes her eyes and releases a blast of force. Followed by a mental echo of familiar music dispersing into the air.

Zeta then fires a more powerful Plasma Blast at Siccily, not at all distracted.

"...I can't say exactly what—"

Alderoth's eyes widen at the music, and his eyes start to turn to grey once more...

And then Alpha darts between them, raising a shimmering palm to stop the blast of force with a barrier of aquamarine Mid-Childan runes... before holding up her other hand as though to stop Zeta, too.

   What's going on here?! Why are you fighting?!

Wanda quickly covers Alderoth's ears with her hands. "Not.. again." she growls.

Pietro lets out a sigh of relief upon seeing Alpha attempt to break up the fight.

Siccily stands up straight, and emits a coughing noise with her power. Vibrating the air itself with her new abilities, Siccily creates the words she wants others to hear. "Simple. I attacked them because they attempted to kill one of our own."

Zeta frowns.

"She was the first one to attack my friends!"

She stops channeling her attack, frowning still.

Alderoth's eyes slowly return to brown, his gaze slowly becoming concentrated.

"Ugh..."

   That's... not the story that they told me...    Alpha says hesitantly, nodding towards Pietro and Wanda, a strong urge to simply help Siccily unconditionally making her sense of purpose mushy, which may come through in her voice.

Zeta sighs.

"I won't attack you," she points to Siccily, "As long as you don't attack my friends in turn!"

"Are you alright, Alderoth?" Wanda asks Alderoth.

"Zeta's the one who's correct," Pietro says to Alpha.

"That is a lie. One of your number attempted to harm one of metatrons children before I was accepted." Siccily stares at Zeta, unphased.
