As a seasoned monster hunter, Blade had already foreseen the threat of Clone 3's wings being used as weapons, and she decides to avoid letting that threat realize itself. Thus, if dodging left and right is hazardous, the way to go would be...

Darkness Style, Third Form - Tengu's Falling Shadow

Blade leaps into the air, flips to turn her momentum downwards and attempts to come down on Clone 3 with her wakizashi extended in an attempt to bisect her vertically. If this blow connects but fails to kill, Clone 3 will feel a disturbing sensation akin to dozens of deathly cold, invisible hands grasping at her, seeping through her body from the impact point and gradually sapping away her magic and her superhuman strength. In fact, since Clone 3 is an entirely magical construct, even a glancing blow from the wakizashi could be enough to destroy her over time.

Tropique

Neither Sephiroth nor Sora show any signs of backing down. They fly at each other, bringing their weapons to bear...

And then the lightning strikes.

"Whoa!" Sora zips back in a blur of speed. Sephiroth just pauses mid-swing and abruptly stands up straight.

   "We have guests."

They turn to face Thor and Iris.

"I know who Sephiroth is," Sora protests. "He's constantly trying to tempt my friend Cloud to darkness, and he tried to take the Keyblade from me by force!"

Sephiroth's smirk does nothing to confirm or deny it.

Sora then points Oathkeeper up at the sky, where the Divine Proclamation meteor still looms overhead, making Thor's lightning look puny in comparison. "And besides, would a good guy be willing to destroy an island just to win a fight?"

"You have a point there."    Sephiroth disperses Masamune into green light and folds his arms, then the meteor crackles, shoots off its own arcs of lightning, and finally fades from existence, leaving behind wisps of dark energy.    "But what value does a fight have if you do not give it your all?"

"Rrrgh!" Sora starts running to attack Sephiroth again, but then Iris speaks, and the boy pauses. "Hang on, you know Roxas?"

"He's gearing up for war."

Sarah almost move her arm to restrain Thor, but then glances at Iris. Deciding she didn't want to stop them too harshly, she let them interfere. THOR, in the meantime, decide it also isn't worth it.

They approach the group right as it happens, THOR trying to give Sephiroth a hearty smack to the back right after he's done with the meteor. HAIL SEPHIROTH!! IT HAS BEEN A WHILE SINCE THE DAYS OF THE ANTI-SPIRAL HASNT IT! He says, glancing down at Sora. YES! ITS ONLY A FIGHT WHEN YOU ARE PUTTING YOUR SOUL INTO IT! ITS JUST A SPAR OTHERWISE.

WE SHOULD TEST MY HAMMER AGAINST YOUR BIZARRE SWORD ONE DAY THOR laughs. THEY ARE OPPOSITES ARENT THEY? IT MEANS THEY'RE BOUND TO CLASH!

Same, though sometimes, you gotta watch out for the collateral. Neither THOR nor Sarah look worried about what has happened, unlike Thor, she also glances at Sora but, seeing he was busy with other things, decide to wait for him to get his info dump, turning to Sephiroth. Hi, I'm Sarah Tripadora. There's a lot of... dark vibes around you but nice to meetcha.

Seeing as Sephiroth wasn't even remotely trying to help his own case, Thor shoots a look of pure exasperation at the One-Winged Angel.

"My friend, you have to realize how bloody suspicious responding to everything with that smug, evil grin makes you appear," he says. "Come on, at least try to prove that Iris was right to place her faith in you."

He prepares to restrain Sora when the latter nearly resumes the fight, though he thankfully stops when Iris mentions Roxas.

"Perhaps he isn't the same Sephiroth you're familiar with. He could very well be from another universe entirely," he suggests.

Jax would've normally laughed at such small damage for such a huge display, but given that his allies are (mostly) children and likely couldn't take a jab, coupled with El Mirage's lack of HP, he keeps his mouth shut. Surrendering himself to the command of whoever's holding the controller outside, Jax marches up to El Mirage and thrusts his lamp with a single hand into the air, spinning it like a helicopter blade.

"Pretty easy to get this close to you! You remind me of an old shuriman emperor, too reliant on his little minions. Can you swing or not?"

The girl can't help but jumping in happiness.

Thank you so much!... Pablo is a guy I met briefly some time ago... I couldn't see him well, since it was nighttime when I met him, but he was handsome and of good heart. A bit mature as well. Black hair, older than me, maybe at his late thirties.

We met in a park in Madrid, and we chatted a bit. I fell in love with him, and he actually asked for my phone!... But since I was so nervous at the time, I wrote a wrong number, heh. She said that last sentence with a bit of playfulness, complete with tongue sticking.

Since then, I'm searching for him all around the world, and then I found a mysterious portal. I step into it, and here we are.

Rumors about my death were greatly exaggerated... Yet.

Sith Academy - Landing Pad

Wrustoiz, Zeloai, and Izawano are all briefly disoriented by the sudden teleport but quickly ascertain their position and lock their collective gazes on the shuttle. From the exit ramp, Joshua stumbles forth, the Spartan shouting to compensate for his blood-filled ears.

"COME THE FUCK ON, PLACE IS COLLAPSING!"

"We could do without the language, spartan."

Zeloai protests as he rushes into the shuttle, followed shortly by Izawano and an uncharacteristically silent Wrustoiz. The latter man moves into the shuttle, taking a seat and slumping back into the leather with a sigh. His heart continues to pound, and Wrustoiz's anxious eyes peer back toward the academy; through the metal of the shuttle and collapsing rock, he knows Laxin is alive. His former master was nothing if not unendingly persistent.

Joshua walks back into the shuttle, moving to the pilot's chair and plopping his armored rear onto it, flicking a switch, the engines roaring to life. The instant everyone else reaches the shuttle, thanks to Elifin, Joshua pushes the non-existent pedal to the metal, the shuttle taking off with a furious, high-pitched whine that rocks the cabin.

Sith Academy - Laxin

Ben's blades weave around the prone Laxin, a subtle movement inflicted on them by the Dark Lord but not enough for Ben to pick up on. Even if he did, Elifin had likely forced him away with his lightsabers. Yet, as the academy collapsed and Laxin's presence continued to fade, something was amiss, as if the descension of Laxin's dark aura was naught but a ruse to placate the Jedi and their allies to leave. It continued to dim and dim until only a whisper in the Force remained; the grand shadow Laxin had cast on the unending light of the invisible energy dissipated.

A ruse that would likely fool the others but not Arad, as Laxin rose to his feet amidst the crumbling ruins of the academy, the rubble was thrown away from him by a subconscious use of the Force. Swiping the finer granules from his attire, Laxin cleared his throat. He slowly walks toward Arad, recalling his lightsaber to his grip and placing it onto his belt.

Kreia and the Dark Side

"The Force revealed someone amongst your pitiful band would die today."

As Laxin spoke, his dry voice revealed a tinge of disappointment, a quieted sigh soon following. As the Dark Lord drew closer, a massive chunk of rubble fell from the mountain, threatening to crush Arad and Laxin until the Dark Lord sent it flying through a hole in the academy's wall without flinching.

"Yet the visions had led me to believe it would be Zeloai, not you."

He continued, pressing two fingers tightly against the bridge of his nose as he stopped a dozen feet away from the Tenno. Calling a stool-shaped pile of rubble to him, Laxin sits. Craning his head forward to the still struggling Arad, Laxin stares deeply into the Tenno's eyes.

"It is deeply frustrating that again he eludes the death that has long hounded him. Always another left to face his fate. Unfair, isn't it?"

Clearing his throat, the decay of the academy within the specific space Arad and Laxin share ceases, the rumbling quieted by a subtle display of the Force. Sighing, Laxin stands.

"Yet the boon of one less thorn in my side remains a victory I can not ignore."

He comments, a subtle fury in his voice as he continues.

"Especially given the great blow your ilk have dealt to my Empire today."

Laxin steps away from Arad to one of the gaping holes in the academy's walls, looking out to the broader region with a blank stare. Suddenly, all the weight crushing down on Umbra is lifted, enough for Arad to move out from beneath it.

"Your death will not be utterly meaningless, but it will be close. Academies can be rebuilt, but strong allies?"

He paused, chuckling.

"The Jedi will feel your loss in more ways than one."

She grabs her anchor at that point, this time holding its chain with her other hand as she swings it towards Malagor, not to hit him directly but to try and coil the chain around him as her anchor pivots around like a boomerang. Dojo, Vandalon, Mech, Trains, Luin

Cardell’s forearms shot in an X-shape in front of him, yet he did nothing to actually avoid Beruka’s stomp; he wanted to see how strong she could be, and he soon got the answer to his question.

Very!

The ropes actually snapped as he was driven through them, the raw energy of Beruka’s pounce surpassing what the elastic strings could withstand. They whipped all around both of them as Cardell shot at dangerous speeds towards part of the crowd watching.

BASIC SKILL: SLOW OBJECT

"Hi." He smirked, coming to a stop as he hovered upside down, only a few inches away from crashing into a student.

ADVANCED SKILL: SNAPBACK

With the same speed that he had shot towards them the teacher shot away from the students, bounding feet-first into the glass roof and shattering it as he kicked off to the mat again, a hail of glass shards raining after. He became almost akin to a blur, picking each individual shard out of the sky as they fell and piling them in a corner of the ring. "We’ll, ah, do our best to stay away from there." Then, he glanced back at Beruka, and continued where he had left off either last post or the one before, letting her in on his “secret”. "I may not look it…but I’m actually several thousands of years old. It’s not any sort of skincare routine or beauty regimen that lets me keep my stunning good looks. Truth be told, when we sunk into the shadows…for those few millennia, we sort of lost track of those runes—the ones we made from the Warrior-King’s strength, if you’ll recall. Well, we never did keep them all in the same place, always kept them on the move, and kept records…but at some point, those records failed us, and six of the runes were lost to the Arena. But the thing is…" Cardell grinned. "There are seven runes."

He lifted his left hand to his right shoulder, pointing his index and middle fingers upwards, and lowered his right fist to his chest, holding his forearm level. The world around them seemed to fade to a simple black and white and an odd illusion settled upon it, as though that which was further away was nearer and that which was nearer was further away. The faces and movements in the crowd slowed to a halt. All around the ring, stars seemed nearer than the dojo walls and twinkled brightly, a thousand foreign constellations and monotone nebulae surrounding them. The only thing that retained its color was Cardell; he actually seemed more vibrant than ever. The golden roses emblazoned on his black gi seemed alive, and the man looked more lively than he had only a few moments ago, brimming with color. Beneath his clothes came a red glow from his chest, and if Beruka looked, she might’ve even caught a fuzzy glance at some sort of foreign sigil, too blurry to make out but certainly present. Behind the teacher, arrows of light like shooting stars streaked out and past the woman.

Then he moved his hands back into a fighting stance, and the strangeness was no more. None of the students seemed to be aware of what had just happened, and continued as usual. Cardell grinned. "You’re strong, ma’am. If everyone else in the Arena fights like you…it’s in good hands."

——

Three spacecraft appeared from the distance, quickly lowering themselves to the ground in a hover. The Sikarii did not fire—perhaps because they knew of the active shield-barrier—and simply waited for the Fallen to drop from their hulls.

Once they did, they came in great number. Above all else, there were dozens of dregs, the lesser members of Fallen society wielding only smallarms and blades. Some utilized laser pistols, some utilized kinetic ones, and some didn’t even have guns at all; instead opting to charge across the town square at our heroes and draw fire away from their allies in a bout of suicidal support. There were a great number of Vandals as well, four-armed and better-equipped infantry who seemed more akin to soldiers than slaves like the Dregs. They utilized rifles, slinging bolts of superheated light at the entrenched Sikarii now firing upon their numbers.

Finally were the three captains, who did little more than direct their troops for now. A number of Vandals found cover as well, and the entire town square between the two warring groups became the world’s deadliest light show.

——

Kado awoke to find himself in a blackened office building, a single light flickering above him, and the blindingly bright lights of the vulnerable Exelsus just outside of the hole he’d come in from.

The Jedi surged to life, jumping to his feet and stretching both hands out. He needed to act quick. The mech wouldn’t be stunned forever, time was of the essence here. Every object in the office building, every chair, every PC, every cabinet, every piece of rubble rose from the floor and then smashed together in between the man and the machine, compressed into a cone form with the tip facing towards EXCELSUS. And then, with a strained grunt and a great amount of effort, Kado shot the debris arrow at the enemy. Regardless of result, he’d collapse forwards onto his knees, a pounding headache thrumming against his mind.

——

[[evil:"Yes…Yes! Use that anger! Let it feed you!" Sarav shouted. He seemed suddenly invigorated as he lifted an open palm, countering the wave of power with one of his own. The train car shuddered in the ensuing collision of forces. He stepped forwards, dragging his lightsaber behind him and leaving a path of melting steel on the floor. The Sith then shot forwards with a thrust, aiming to impale Milin just above her hip.

Kado followed swiftly after Izawano, hopping up through the hole in the ceiling only to find Kiwa already standing at the further end of the car, waiting for them. He twirled his blade and grinned toothily, and laughed.    "Strike me!"    The Barbarian of Caraxes IX howled, whipping his lightsaber against the roof below him.    "Strike me and perish!"

——

FORT DAWNGUARD

"So," Khars’Li said softly, glancing about himself at the mighty fortress as they entered the grounds. "This is the home of your…"

"Neo-Shepherds. And they aren’t mine," Luin nodded. The woman felt the rocking of the beast beneath her, a strange, four-legged mammal (the stablemaster had called it a “whores” or something similar to it) she had rented out from the town of Riften, while the Lizardman beside her had opted instead to walk, even with all the weight he bore. He gazed around the locale with a sense of wonder like a child’s, while Luin had her attention elsewhere. She was well-acquainted with the grounds, for it was also where she had lived for a good few months before moving to the wooden city of Koro-Na on the Island. Quite frankly she didn’t entirely enjoy being back—it was no slight against the Neo-Shepherds or their impressive base of operations and the beautiful scenery it was surrounded by, but rather the memories. For much of the time here, she had spent her days planning her vengeance against the Poachers.

And now that vengeance had been enacted, she felt…not regret, but rather shame. Shame of the person she was, she who had allowed hatred to consume her and pervade her every waking moment. She was in a better place now: helping the people of Koro-Na had helped her distract herself from her own thoughts. But in spite of it, she was still hesitant to look upon the scenery. So instead she narrowed her thoughts to something else: the strange object, an orange crystal, which she had found among the ruins of the Quarry when she’d returned to double check the locale for Davik.

Once he manages to board the shuttle alongside the others, Ben immediately notices how Wrustoiz was behaving. Suddenly, he was beginning to get the distinct feeling that what should have been a definitive victory for him and his allies after what felt nearly half a year of battle wasn't as triumphant as it was supposed to be.

"Could this mean that... no. No, that's impossible. There's no kriffing way Laxin could have survived something like that."

As he slowly collapses into the nearest seat, he balls his hands into tightly clenched fists, doing everything in his power to keep his emotions reigned in. How could Laxin have managed to make it out of that alive? Would he need an entire fleet of Republic warships to bombard him from orbit just to end his reign of terror?

Solopost - Charlian Jackson

"Again!" Folka Albark sternly instructed his student as he held out his palms, waiting for his student to recollect himself.

"Yes, master!" Charlian didn't waste any time nodding and immediately entered the stance that he has repeatedly held for the last hour as sweat dripped down his forehead before clenching his hand. The young man struck his instructor's held palms with his fists as fast and as accurately as he could, because the consequence of missing a palm out of haste or hesitation is to be struck by said palm, not strong enough to bruise, but enough to sting both his flesh and pride.

At the moment, Charlian Jackson is training himself in the martial arts used by Folka Albark, under the tutelage of the Shura himself. His deep voice, stern mannerism, and imposing presence as a fighter and teacher makes it easy for Charlian to forget that he's actually two years younger than his own student. Not that it matters, because Folka is one hell of a teacher.

Ever since he got back home from work on the day he literally skydived to his workplace, the young man has found that Replications of people from other worlds have been popping up more frequently. Over time, he realized that this is not a mechanic of the ritual itself designed to torment him with his own weaknesses, but simply a manifestation of his intense desire to confront said weaknesses that have been smothered by an even more intense desire to avert his eyes from them.

As such, the young man decided that it's best that he takes advantage of it instead of suppressing it and ignoring it, and he did always find it easier to improve himself and confront his problems with someone giving him a little push. It didn't take long for him to notice that Folka Albark is among the Replications that appears the most often. He has an inkling as to why that is the case, but doesn't feel quite ready to confront it just yet.

Charlian would continue to practice martial arts under the guidance of his new instructor, despite his body's constant protests in the forms of aches and sores. The older boy is definitely not used to this kind of intense training. In fact, he would even burst into tears from pain and embarrassment during the first week of his lessons. However, Charlian always wiped those tears away and stood back up to keep going, because he knows that it is a weakness that he must overcome in order to learn the Kishin Ken, or "Machine God Fist", whichever you prefer.

The lessons would proceed relatively smoothly, with Charlian being both a hard worker and a relatively quick learner, despite having no physical talents whatsoever. More recently, however, Folka noticed that Charlian began having trouble concentrating during training, and the cause is not due to a lack of desire to train.

"Alright, that's enough for now." Folka stepped back and lowered his hands, allowing his pupil to take a breather.

"I'm sorry, I promise I can keep going-" Charlian anxiously begged his teacher to let him keep going, but the Shura shook his head.

"I doubt neither your desire to practice nor your capability to learn." The red-haired man crossed his arms. "It has come to my attention that you've been unable to concentrate due to something plaguing your mind, am I wrong?"

"..." The Replicator looked away and remained silent, confirming Folka's suspicion.

"I believe that we should put training on hold until you can get this off your mind." The Kishin Ken practitioner sat next to a dinner table as his student squirmed ever so slightly.

Charlian desperately wish he can just imagine Folka overlooking something like this to make it happen, but he can't do it. While his powers lets him replicate any person, it does so based on his interpretation of them, and he just can't think of Folka as someone who would ignore something that's troubling his student so blatantly.

Besides, the martial artist is also here because his subconscious seems to desperately wish for consultation, so there's no point in delaying this any further. "I'm scared." Charlian blurted out after sitting beside Folka at the table, just before he hurriedly amended his statement. "I came to this Arena because I don't know what I might become, had I stayed in a world where most people are normal."

Charlian looked at his own hands and clenched his fists. "The power of anything and everything, in the palm of my hands. How can I handle this? How can I resist the temptation to just... give in and do whatever I want?"

"To know your own inexperience is already a sign that you won't simply fall to the level of a cruel tyrant-"

"I know, master!" The Replicator exclaimed as he screwed his eyes shut. "I know I'm aware, but that's not enough!" With a deep inhale, he lowered his voice and opened his eyes again. "As long as I have this power, this option to do whatever I wish, I will never be safe from corruption."

"...indeed, absolute power corrupts absolutely." Folka nodded, before he started preparing a cup of tea for both him and Charlian. "Tell me, how do you plan to deal with this from now on?"

"I... don't know. I'll just keep helping people with my powers, I guess." The young man shrugged.

"And there you have it." After preparing the tea, Folka placed a cup before Charlian as he sipped from his own.

"...it can't be that simple, master." The Replicator can't help but doubt his instructor, who shook his head.

"It is simple in your case, as you've already chose to help others without considering benefits to yourself once before. Had you not entered that village in Reprium, more people would've died to the rampage of that girl. That is a fact." Folka gave his student an approving smile. "Not only that, but you've also helped those villagers because you were concerned for their safety, and you immediately abandoned any thoughts of personal gain, did you not?"

After seeing his student nod, the Shura crossed his arms again. "So there you have it, the way to prevent yourself from falling into depravity is to simply keep using your powers in consideration of others. However!" Folka suddenly raised his voice somewhat, startling Charlian. "Simple does not imply easy. To keep yourself on the path of your choosing, you must hone your discipline and resolve through practice and experience."

"I'm sure you know my story already?" Folka asked his student, who nodded. The martial artist was a Shura who initially followed the Shura rule of strength reigning supreme, but eventually broke away from the path of supremacy to discover a new way for the Shura to live, holding onto that resolve until the very end. "When you're unsure about whether you're using your powers in the way that you consider right, consider its impact on others."

With a more resolute look in his eyes, Charlian gave his teacher a firm nod. "I understand, I will use this powers for the sake of others from now on. I won't stray from this path."

Instead of looking satisfied, Folka actually seemed somewhat ambivalent about his student's budding resolve. "...apologies, that's not exactly what I meant." The red-haired man chose his next words carefully. "While using your powers for others only is admirable, it may not be as suited for someone like you."

Now Charlian just feels confused. "What do you mean, master?"

Folka remained silent for a few seconds before shaking his head. "...just remember to maintain a decent level of communication with Bravern from now on."

Charlian is not sure why his teacher is suddenly mentioning the red robot, but accepted his words anyways. After the two finished their tea, they would continue their grueling training session, with Folka landing a couple more hits on Charlian before the latter regained his normal pace.

Clone Three then uses the distraction and immediately drops down Laevateinn first like a raging meteor, the blade if missing would dig into the ground but rather than being stuck if simply eats through the dirt as she swings it up towards whatever direction Blade dodged with another wave of flame to accompany it.

"If that had been Two or One that would have gotten them, shame for you I'm a bit less stable hahaha~!" Clone Three adds after the fact.

"I see..." she hummed as she sealed the dark matter in. It bumped against the edges of it as it thawed but seemed unable to escape. "Well we have reason to believe they have... merged with an Elder Dragon that is now acting as their leader. So any information you have would be a great help."

"That was a pointless encounter with a pointless person."

"Yeah, we fought together against a big threat, and later on he came to me looking for, uh, advice on something important to him."

Not very detailed but no way is she gonna tell Sora who she really is, she doesn't know if she can trust this kid. Also, THOR and Sarah would hear it too. Sarah'd proven to be frighteningly good at hearing, so even just whispering anything would be out of the question.

"I guess you've got some valid history with Sephiroth. But I dunno, he seemed more amused than evil to me just now. And he dispelled his attack. Maybe Thor is right and he's not the same one? This place is weird like that."

She then smirks and subtly gestures to THOR.

"Besides, would a guy so loud and jolly-sounding be greeting Sephiroth so happily if he wasn't at least somewhat of a better person than what you knew him as?", she whispers to Sora.

“Pyra” briefly put their headphones on their neck, thinking about questions and hoping to know more about this new world and their fellow passenger.

“So… How long have you been here for? I’ve only arrived recently and is taking the metro to explore this place.”

Luin sighed and grunted, shook her head and reclined in the saddle. Khars’Li glanced over at her with a hint of curiosity.

"You’ve been staring at that rock for the past thirty minutes."

"I just don’t get it." The woman sighed again. "What the hell is it? There was—is— something special about it, otherwise…"

"I’m sure there is, but you’re not going to find out what’s special about it by staring at it for another half-hour. Now come on, we’re here. You remember the whole reason you brought us all the way out here?"

"I do." Luin said. They had come seeking aid for the Island—she knew not if they’d get any, but it was worth a try at the very least.

Tropique

Sephiroth lurches forward when THOR pats him, though he doesn't break his composure, keeping his eyes transfixed on Thor.    "I am the same Sephiroth who Sora remembers, and I am also the same Sephiroth who you know. I have changed between then and now, simple as that."

That name, Sora. It sounds way too much like Roxas.

"Alright, fine." Sora switches back to the Kingdom Key, dropping out of Double Form. "Let's say I believe you. Why are you all here, then?"

Least Evil Cop

Xion grimaces as she watches Barricade run all those people over. She projects a magical barrier against the plasma shots, then grabs her Keyblade in both hands and starts to rise into the air, gaining an aura of golden light. "Time to end this."

Xion leaps at Barricade and slams down on the ground, then bounds away and slams down again, bouncing all over the place. Every landing makes one pillar of golden light centered on herself, four pillars around herself, and eight life-stealing blue beams that fly out from there. She keeps bouncing, making it hard to track her movements as the light obscures her, until she finally bounds right back into Barricade's face for the final slam.

Metro Ride

"Years. I left recently, but after a while I came back."

Agent 8 looks away. Talking has never come easy to her.

"Not sure why, I just felt...compelled."

She can't take her mind off that song. Just seeing its title brings back memories, both fond and foul.

Fort Dawnguard

When Luin finally puts a hand on the crystal, something new happens, like it was waiting for a moment of calm to do this.

Its light suddenly grows, filling the room with blinding energy. Luin's arm hurts, her everything hurts, but she can't let go. She feels power surging through her, melding with her being.

And then, a life is reborn.

The being who has identified himself as Perceval now stands before Luin as the pain subsides. "You must be my Driver. Your enemies are my enemies, from now until one of us meets their end!"

Dedede nods. "I'll tell you what I can! Do you got some sorta base of operations?"

"Um, of course! Back at the Hunter's Guild HQ is where my research is done." the Scrivener Lass nodded. "I could show you the way. No offense but um... Percy probably won't let you ride on him."

Her Pariapuria (who had been eating some of the dead dinos) looked up and hissed for emphasis.

Xion

Barricade is a bit more prepared for the bullet hell this time, though there's only so much maneuvering he can do against a smaller and faster target. He dodges some of the barrage but gets grazed by others, the last one in particular managing to nail him. He gets knocked into a nearby building the collapses around him.

"Not bad, then again I guess as a fake stubbie you'd be tougher than them." he growls, then suddenly grabs something and throws... the purple boombox?

Xion might be confused by that until it transforms into a purple robot about the size of a person mid-air, with a manic grin on her face.

"THINGS SHALL GET LOUD NOW!" she cackles as she then screams extremely loudly, enough that it's a proper sonic blast that stops her mid-air and hopefully slams into Xion. Barricade takes this opportunity to recover.

"You know, this situation is partially your fault, Frenzy." he growls.

"YOU'RE THE ONE WHO DROVE BY A REAL STATION!" Frenzy replies. Seems she has no indoor voice.

Khars’Li was quick to notice the woman’s pain, and even the “hoarse” on which she rode slowed to a stop as the woman gnashed her teeth, trying to draw her grasp away from the device but failing. And then, before them, appeared the one who called himself Perceval.

"Who are—" The Saurus demanded, hand shooting to the hilt of the massive macuahuitl on his back. A hand from Luin told him to stand down.

"Driver? Did you…come out of that crystal?" She asked, confused beyond notion at the sudden appearance of a new face…but, if he spoke true, a new ally as well.

Dedede looks at Percy the Pariapuria, then at King K. Rool. The two share a nod.

"I'll get my own ride."

One Smash Cut later, Dedede is riding The Flying Krock, a Kremling sky battleship, as it trails behind the Scrivener Lass and Percy. An entrance fit for a king.

Fort Dawnguard

"Indeed. The crystal is my heart, soul, and mind all in one, and the one who awakened me is worthy to use my power for themselves as my Driver!"

Perceval puts his fist to his chest, where the same crystal from which he awoke is now an X-shaped mark. "There are many like me, called Blades. We come in myriad shapes and sizes, but we can be identified by coming from and bearing this same sort of crystal."

Xion

Two enemies now. Xion's golden aura lets her tank the sonic blast as it pushes her back without any real damage. "I would've seen past your sham eventually. I am what I am, and not a bootleg of anyone else! My name is Xion, and I'll destroy you!"

She rushes down Frenzy with a blitz of wild Keyblade swings, ending with a downward strike, then zips away in light-ball form to launch four blue beam pillars, then zips back in for another downward Keyblade strike, then zips away again for four more blue beams.

"He's gearing up for war."

Pious

Emma's pamphlet searching finally makes her reach Pious... In the middle of the most stereotypical description of a mage. Her trigger finger's twitching like crazy. But maybe this is one of those pillory mages! Ones who aren't persecuted by the state to make a mockery of them and keep the image of them alive!

"What on earth... do you think you're doing?"
