Both arthropodal girls blink in confusion.

"Ahaha, I don't think Wriggle is that kind of-" Yamame begins to say.

   "We only just met and I don't think you're my type."    Wriggle huffs, in a distinctly feminine if inhuman sounding voice.    "Though I don't think that's a family tradition I want to do anyway."   

"Okayyyy." Yamame says, a bit surprised. "Anyway, who are you exactly? I'm Yamame and this is Wriggle."

"... okay that's a good thing, because I'm married. Well, I mean, I was... wait, did I ever get officially divorced?", he ponders aloud, fingers on his chin thoughtfully.

"... Better be safe than sorry. No dating for me."

He then casually leans on the side of the portal.

"I'm Spot. Former scientist, kinda still unofficially one, and since like a few hours ago an interdimensional traveler."

He glances around. Not that they'd notice this due to his lack of eyes.

"... say, this place feels somewhat familiar. Where am I exactly?"

Things are getting real. It fills her with DETERMINATION.

She picks up the pace, hitting maximum overdrive and skidding to a stop at the edge of the peak, waving her arms comically before taking the plunge in after the group.

She slams to the ground, having leapt straight from the top of the entrance through the hole they climbed down. There's a painful-sounding crack, but also a shockwave that may stun the Googoorons for a moment on impact.

"You still never explained to me WHY you've got such beef with me. Existing."

MissingNo. hisses at Kimairan and Mewtwo, slipping around and evading the psycho-hold before slithering along to part of the ground under the Hurricane.

Its unstable, glitchy body suddenly blows up, ballooning over and covering Team Rocket before fizzling with glitchy energy. The Hurricane winds buffet it, but splash off.

Sustwo pops over by DNP!Mewtwo and Red, forming a vanguard while Red fiddles around with his bag.

   "Has having that many TMs at once ever helped?"   

"Ahakghkaskhsghkskhshkshkghkgkehghke i'm LOOKING"

"Huh." is all the reaction Spot gets from either of them on his introduction. To be fair, interdimensional traveler is a rather common thing here.

"Well, this is a bar in Hub Centralis." Yamame explains, idly messing with some web between her fingers.

   "Are you looking for something?"    Wriggle asks.    "Or just randomly opening portals?"   

"Hub Centralis... doesn't ring a bell."

He looks at Wriggle.

"A bit of one, a bit of the other. Still learning how to use these powers, y'know. But I am actually looking for something too. Does this place maybe have, say, a Super Collider? I kinda need one to-WHOA!"

He now looks at Yamame.

"Oh, hey, are you a Spider-Man? ... or I guess a Spider-Woman? Spider-Lady? ... Spider-Gal."

Team Rocket is now sorta trapped inside Missingno. But this does at least cause the winds to start calming down. Eventually the winds will cease and Team Rocket will safely fall back onto the sand.

"From a personal standpoint I have no issue with you. But you are a threat and you know too much.", Kimairan says to Red.

Mewtwo glances at Kimairan in suspicion for a moment. Then, all of a sudden, he tries to use telekinesis to steal Red's bag right out of his hands. If successful, he'll then teleport it away before DNP!Mewtwo can do anything about it.

"No more of that."

As for Kimairan, since a Spiky Shield variant is active, it doesn't attack Missingno. just yet. But he faintly glows, indicating that it's preparing something.

"Uh... technically I'm a spider woman I guess?" Yamame says. "I'm an earth spider youkai after all."

She emphasizes that by waving with her extra spider legs coming out of her back.

   "No idea what a Super Collider is but if it's some gizmo that lets you travel in dimensions then I guess there's a lot of them here."    Wriggle huffs, slurping up her fruit juice... despite not having a visible mouth.

"Ah, shucks. Well, I'm here now anyway. May as well have a drink before I move on."

He now fully climbs out of his portal with a little 'yuppa' sound, goes behind the bar and gets himself... a soda?

"Not gonna risk getting drunk when I don't have full control over my powers yet~", he hums as he pours it in a glass. He then looks back at Yamame and Wriggle.

"Wait, there's nobody behind the bar. Does that mean I can just take this without paying? It'd be really handy if that's the case because I am flat out broke right now. Can't exactly get a job lookin' like this, y'know.", he says, gesturing to himself.

Upon noticing the crack, Cardboard revs up those fryers her chainsaw, and attempts to pierce the crack with it.

You shot the monsters! I'll try to open the crack!

Meanwhile, Ms. Thingies flies away to join the fliers, shooting homing energy blasts looking like paper cranes.

But, who'll deal with Garon...?

A interdimensional crack opens over the Nohrian skies, and from it, Pampín◊ emerges, with a beam of sunlight between her hands!

Inti, lend me your power! Solar Blade!!

With those words, the beam grows longer and brighter, and with it, she attempts to split Garon in a half!

Wriggle burps, seemingly as if to answer what happened to the staff.

"They kind of ran away screaming when Wriggle stepped in." Yamama clarifies, glaring at Wriggle's attempted misdirection. "... and her friends."

If the Spot looks in the kitchen he'll see various oversized insectoids, such as two Venipede fighting over a bag of chips. As well as a Seltas trying to force its way through the undersized doorway in the back.

   "I can relate to that. Not many people appreciate insects. Let alone ones bigger than them."    Wriggle grumbles.    "But hey, free juice."   

"... well, that's horrifying. But convenient.", Spot says after realizing what that burp meant.

Then Yamame clarified.

"Less horrifying, still convenient."

He now notices the other insectoids.

"Well, to be fair, to most humans anything with more than four limbs is scary. I'm just glad Spider-Man only has four.", he says, leaning against the counter and now drinking his soda. ... or rather, it pours into the hole on his face and apparently that still seems to work just fine for him.

"But hey, you two've got each other, don't you? So at least you're never alone. Not a fun feeling, trust me. Wouldn't recommend."

Luckily, the exact last thing Red managed to grab is what he was looking for, so it remains clutched in his hand as Mewtwo yanks the rest of the bag away.

Still, he's unnerved. I suppose this hasn't happened often in battles. That's a lifeline he never thought he'd have severed.

Glitch Shield fades for the turn. It'll be re-used NEXT turn once the fail chance is cooled off, but for now MissingNo.'s just sitting pretty.

Ready and freddy, Dittwo and DNP!Mewtwo blast off.
Ditto dashes right by Mewtwo before pivoting and trying to slam it with a few psychically-boosted punches and palm strikes, while DNPtwo suddenly ports into position directly above Kimairan. Its eyes flash for a moment [MIRACLE EYE] before it suddenly drops down with a diving kick aimed for the small of Kimairan's back [ACHILLES HEEL ~ PSIONIC INFUSION] !

"Odd, you'd think this spider man would have eight limbs like I do." Yamame pointed out.

   "Technically we only just met."    Wriggle clarifies.    "But yeah, not a fan either. I appreciate my insects but I do like having someone to actually talk to."   

"Same for me. I always appreciate a fun conversation.", Spot says before finishing his drink. He then shrugs at Yamame.

"All I can tell is that he can shoot webs and stick to buildings. Also he's really strong. Like, his punches hurt sometimes. Not as bad as his mocking though. He called me a 'villain of the week'. Can you believe that guy? No respect for people's feelings."

He puts the glass away and then stretches his arms.

"Well, this was fun, but I oughta go. Still have some power-soul-searching to do, super colliders to find, and maybe pick up a snack on the way if I end up in any stores."

Mewtwo tilts his head. What could Red possibly have taught his counterpart that would turn the edge of this battle?

But no time to think about that, two Mewtwos are now coming in.

Reacting with lightning-fast reflexes, Mewtwo spins his spoon and uses it to block Sus!Mewtwo's hits, though due to the boosts it has each successful hit knocks Mewtwo back a bit and forces him to stay on the defensive.

Kimairan, meanwhile, gets kicked in the back... and doesn't budge, now glancing up.

And now Red may remember that this thing was a chore and a half to deal with last time. And it seems to not have gotten any weaker.

Regardless, Kimairan's eyes glow for a moment before it tries to unleash a Hurricane around itself, aiming to send DNP!Mewtwo spinning and flying.

"Thank youuuuu...", Meowth groans dizzily to Red. Victreebel is dizzy as well, as well as hurt from the super-effective damage from the forming Hurricane (but because Missingno. intervened before it was fully formed Victreebel and Meowth didn't faint). Still, it lets out a grateful and happy sound to Missingno.

Jessie and James get back up on their feet first. James now holds out the device (being really grateful it wasn't sent flying) and tries to scan Kimairan more while Jessie talks to Red.

"Alright, so that thing can take a hit from your Mewtwo and apparently wants you dead?", she asks. "Do you know anything important about that thing that we can use?"

Jessie pointing out Kimairan's toughness may lead to Red realizing a potential worry. If the enemy Mewtwo is taken out, then who's gonna stop Kimairan from just lunging at him and tearing him apart first chance he gets? Kimairan hasn't fought much yet, but Mewtwo must be getting tired considering it's beginning to struggle against Ditto.

Yamame decides to not mention she can do all those things. Except the mocking.

"Been    there."    they both say at once.

"I got called Stage 1 fodder by the magician once." Yamame huffs. "I don't even know what that means but it sounds insulting."

   "I lost track of how many times I got called a mosquito or cockroach even though I'm a firefly."    Wriggle grumbles.

"Anyway, good luck in whatever you're going to do with the super-collider thing!" Yamame says, waving at Spot. Wriggle waves too.

"Ouch! 'Stage 1 fodder'? That's like... well, a random enemy in the first world of a video game. I hope you get to punch whatever magician called you that, that's not okay."

He then looks at Wriggle.

"And that just sounds racist. As if all insects are the same. Some people, I swear.", he says, shaking his head. He then seems to perk up somewhat.

"Hey, thanks. You two good luck in... uh... I don't really know what you're planning to do after this, but good luck anyway. Bye."

After waving back he hops back into his portal, which closes behind him.

"...Well he seemed nice." Yamame commented.

   "I feel we're missing something but whatever."    Wriggle replied as a Lokix brought her another glass of fruit juice.

"Well I'm sure whatever he's doing isn't too bad." Yamame said, going back to her own drink.

"DITTA!"

Dittotwo rears up for a moment, charging energy before going in for a full-force Dark Impact. If avoided (which it will probably be given that it was telegraphed), it'll bounce off the ground before rebounding.

"..."

Mewtwo's eyes widen when it realizes Kimairan completely tanked its attack, no trouble at all. Super Effective and +2. No reaction. Uuuuuuuuuuuuh-
It reacts, and blasts away from Kimairan; not quickly enough to avoid the Hurricane, but enough to mitigate it by going along with the current. Once it gets a bit away it catches itself in the air, calculating.

"Other than that they're mean but also really tough? Mmph."

MissingNo. keeps watch, ready to Glitch Shield if Kimairan attacks the group.

Nicole is understandably surprised when Domon suddenly pops in and leaves just as quickly.

"How in the-?!"

Shaking her head, she transforms into her Draconic form, letting out a fearsome roar as she unleashes a veritable firestorm of Arcane Fire Breath at Garon and the mudmen.

Had that attack not been telegraphed, it would have actually been pretty brutal upon impact. But it was telegraphed, and as a result Mewtwo swiftly moves to just barely dodge it. And once Sustwo starts bouncing Mewtwo attempts to catch it in a psychic hold. If successful, Mewtwo will then force it to continue bouncing by moving his arm around and forcing Sustwo to move in the same direction and crash into stuff constantly.

As for Kimairan, it gives DNP!Mewtwo no time, as it immediately flies up and attempts to Dual Chop DNP!Mewtwo in the throat for some good damage. Expecting DNP!Mewtwo to try to just dodge, it starts forming some clouds around it in an attempt to slow it down.

"That doesn't say much.", Jessie sighs.

"Hmmmm... you may be right about the changing types thing, Jessie."

"Oh?", she asks as she and Meowth look at him.

"Pokemon get a power bonus if they're using an attack of their own type, right? According to this device it's gotten that bonus for all its attacks so far, and it's getting it again for this one."

"That's three different types already. So what do we do about this?"

"... uuuuhhhh..."

The Trio looks at Red now, figuring that he's the expert battler, so if any of them can figure out some kind of way to exploit this ability, it should be him.

Okay Ditto gets kind of banged up as it gets thrown around, cartoonishly squashing into the surfaces it hits before being thrown again and again and DARK IMPACT GO , BELIEVE IN THE YOURSELF THAT CAN BREAK OUT OF HIS PSYCHIC BULLSHIT WITH SHEER SPEED AND FORCE

Mewtwo holds until Kimairain is basically right on top of it, its calculations coming to a head.

Focusing to a pinpoint, blasts forwards and brute-forces its way through the Dual Chops (with some damage ofc) and tries to land a single, stunning Achilles Heel blow straight on to Kimairan's face (despite the name, the technique is not obligatorily a kicking attack)!

Smug Red time.

"I actually latched on to that idea as soon as you said it," he admits, turning away to try and keep Kimairan from seeing his signs. "I figured accounting for that wouldn't HURT future tactics. Even if it turned out untrue, it'd still ensure that we hit whatever it is effectively."

He gives them the quick rundown of his strat as outlined in this post.
TLDR; how the Normal-type Achilles Heel has low base power but hits damn near everything Super Effectively provided it does hit, using the Psionic Infusion ability to give Achilles Heel Psychic STAB and make it hit everything but Dark-types, then using Miracle Eye to make it also hit Dark.

"... If any of you have a Dire Hit on hand, that could help. Or a Focus Energy TM?"

His hopes aren't high but it doesn't hurt to ask.

This just results in Ditto trying to speed his way out of Mewtwo's grip, moving really slowly despite trying to go fast.

So Mewtwo just moves aside and releases Ditto from his grip without any warning, which may or may not result in Ditto rocketing off into the distance.

As for Kimairan, it gets hit in the face and while it's not clear if that was a crit or not, the impact still sends it flying back down to the sand rapidly, so it must have done some damage.

If Ditto was sent flying, Mewtwo will once again nothing personell his way behind DNP!Mewtwo, this time attempting to trap it in a psychic hold. But not for long, because if this worked Kimairan will go for a straight-up Giga Impact attack while DNP!Mewtwo is in no position to block or dodge.

Jessie and James glance at each other for a moment.

"A Dire Hit? Who carries something like that around?"

"I do have the TM though.", James says, grabbing a small round binder with TMs out of his pocket. The binder looks like one of those old CD/DVD holders.

"Hold on for a moment, gonna have to look for it...", he says, beginning to flip through them.

Regardless, I'm proceeding with the assumption that Mewtwo successfully locks DNPtwo down. It struggles, but isn't able to evade in the split second before Kimairan rushes it down for a Giga Impact-
