EV Office Lobby

The green robot notices Eve just before they turn a corner.

"Oh. Erm, thanks for the offer, but we're fine, I was about to help with that arm stump. In the meantime, maybe you can direct your questions towards the reception?"

He points at the wall of screens. The queue of businessmen and -women has dissipated, leaving a few receptionists without anything to do. Two of them have already engaged in a Tetris battle, while a third one, who looks like an amalgamation of Lorentz attractors, is leaning back.

"Hey Lorentz, can you handle Eve here for me?"

   "Sure thing."

The avatar sits himself upright again and looks at Eve expectantly.

"So, what can I do for you?"

Meanwhile, the bug-headed robot leads Aki off towards a working room, which contains an assembler, polishing machines and scanners, as well as yet another screen.

"So, the plan is, we're gonna scan your arm stump, place some electrodes on it, and with a bit of practice and tweaking of a prototype, you might have a durable and functional arm again."

Several unit boxes filled with carbon fiber, steel gears, circuitry, bolts and more enter the room from a hatch in the back, and get transported to the assembler via conveyor belts. Meanwhile, the robot drags over one scanner, lowers it and places a seat next to it. Then he displays an image of the gun devil on the screen.

"Here, just place your stump in the scanner to get started. And while that's working, you said you know more about this entity, right?"

Eve would have told Aki of her hospital and how it'd be trivial to give him an arm back, but though a holy woman, she can respect the hustle of wanting a mecha-arm, besides the greater troubles she's facing. Complying with what she's told, seeing no need to make a scene, Eve nods and point to the ceiling.

Those rays you used on that gnarly devil, are they... able to transport matter they touch to alternate universes? she says, curious. The scientific term would be akin to void beams, right?

She doesn't want to reveal she has void powers yet though, just in case. You handled that devil quite superbly using those! I had my own means but you made it fall apart with ease. Thank you for that, too.

Winterhold

Luna winces, feeling a bit bad for William.

"Um, yeah. Or at least not training partners when it comes to magic." she says. "We can still be friends like Cirno said though."

chewfart

Karasu gets hit by the stickies and dragged around, though Stefan might be a bit suspect of how much easier it was this time. Might have forgotten Flandre can see what the bat sees.

Rumia wakes up (again), takes a peek outside and wisely decides to go back inside RED base for now. She's not dealing with that right now, especially when she still feels a bit dazed.

Flandre watches Sarah eating shit and smiles, then looks at Thor for a moment before recognizing the gesture. She awkwardly returns the high five, before sensing something in Hub Centralis.

"Go investigate that." she tells Daiakuma, who doesn't hesitate to make a teleporting exit, considering the brewing Necrostorm. Flandre then senses Stefan going under them with Karasu but fortunately for him she can't act on that yet. Instead she watches Thor get ganked to get a feel for how this thing attacks, before responding herself.

"Hmm, seeing as how that's above the fort. I think I can get away with cutting a bit loose." she grins, despite a tendril lashing at her and leaving a deep cut that regenerates. Flandre then raises Laevateinn up, the sword burning already and...

Drops the armor magic encasing it, the chunks of solidified magic falling off before disappearing. Laevateinn then roars to life, a massive plume of flame erupting from the now exposed original shape.

U.N. Owen Was Her?

"Ahahaha! I rarely get to use this attack!" she shouts to Sarah, cackling.

Laevateinn "Flames that Devoured the World"

Flandre then swings the world destroying blade vertically then horizontally, aiming to slice through the Necrostorm beast and letting the wild flames of Surtr devour it. Due to it being in a less controlled state, while the flames surrounding her devour the tendrils completely they also have the side effect of scorching Flandre herself. Despite that she's still grinning. Assuming no further interruptions, she reseals the blade.

And promptly collapses on her face, burnt out literally and figuratively. Not the best day for her stamina. She groans, indicating she's not dead fortunately.

Hub Centralis

Daiakuma touches down by some rather unusual debris. She picks up what looks like a rifle but is quite clearly not an ordinary one on closer inspection. She can feel the devil magic in it, though rather than reminding her of home it's more like what she felt from Anna. Curious, she decides to encase it in a container of armor magic then teleports it back to the Arena SDM. She then picks up one of the smaller, bullet shaped pieces of debris to inspect before flying off to a greater concentration she can sense.

Which brings her outside the EV Office, she notices the familiar logo and surmises they're associates of Icarus. She also sees Eve upon entering, who she doesn't know (not like Flandre mentioned the lady she met in the Bread Zone) but can sense her intense magic.

"Ahem, hello there! Do either of you happen to know anything about..."    she gestures to the various giblets of gun devil outside.    "Whatever that was? Lady Flandre asked me to investigate."

Exotic ventures, In the back, arm repair room.

Aki places whats left of his missing arm in the scanner as he stares at the picture of the gun devil for a second, before saying "That Monstrosity is the gun devil. Where I come from, almost anyone would know what that means. But, for an explaination... In the world I come from, There are creatures known as Devils."

Aki takes a breather before resuming. "Devils are created with, and tied to, a name and concepts of that name, and are originally born in a place we call hell. When a devil dies in hell, it comes into our reality on earth. The more feared the name and associated things are, the more powerful the devil is."

He takes something into account, before saying "I'd think you wouldn't have to be too scared of this thing, but back in 1984, Guns were still terrifying. And on november 18th of that year, a terrorist attack involving a lot of guns used was shown on news channels across the world."

Aki seems pained to say it, but he finally says "On that day, in a span of five minutes, over 1.2 million other people around the world died to the gun devils attacks. It moved so fast that parts of it burned off of it and fell around, and I didn't know until recently, but it was then found unconcious off the coast of the soviet union, and split into pieces. But it seems that it exploded this time around."

He finally says through gritted teeth "Three of the people that it killed were my younger brother and both my parents. It destroyed my house right before my eyes."

He stops, to let questions be asked, and to catch his breath.

The Greentide: Cataclysm

The warpstorm was hitting a criticality that seemed utterly lethal. Soon it was no longer just accompanied by raining hell stone, but soon massive vortexes formed within great plains and forest lines, horrific energies stripping the land of green and replacing it with a sickly yellow flame. Across the arena, various portents of fate seemed to collide, and create gross aberrations crudely mirroring it's denizens. Beast of Tropique were soon pursued and in combat with creatures of melting flesh and too many eyes, and yet they shared the bodies of the many arthropods, fanged wyverns, and drakes of the land. Within the seas, the oceans churned and bubbled violently, crashing against the shores of the Arena, as winds changed directions and culminated in great hurricanes and typhoons that soon started to drive themselves forward to the most densely populated of the masses, carrying with them wails of the damned. Even the upper atmosphere was not safe, as dark planetoids soon started to form from uplifted rock, condensing into green chalky moons that swirled rapidly amidst the neon-pastel sky.

Nagadilotep was busy trying to protect the sea-farers as best as he could, the collosal sea serpent trying to retake the oceans into his stead, only finding instead dark whispers demanding sacrifice. Nagadilotep and his patch of non afflicted ocean water was relatively calm, the eye within the storm. Only for the great sea serpent to feel tentacles coil around his head and limbs, the Great Sea God now thrashing and fighting for his life as he was being pulled into his ever corrupted domain. He looked to the bottom and saw the endless expanse alit like fire, as it seemed the molten blood of the earth had formed into great tendrils, trying to pull him in to the thermal maw. His Hermitaur ally quickly jumped in, trying to hack at the tentacles as Nagadilotep went on the offensive as well, spraying the condensed cold brine at his new foe.

Astil soon became in of itself surrounded on all sides by a strange black mist, which seemed to hover just above the ground and just below the canopy. Most things that touched it simply disappeared or were mangled beyond recognition. Yet a few men, women, children, and beast suddenly had an inverse. They screamed as they were sucked into the most, before it quickly muffled into an audible, wet squelch as flesh expanded into great masses of muscle and chitinous hide. The new beings that came out of it were misshapen with irregular symmetry and great forelimbs which splintered into blades or calluses with hammer-like strength. The Lizardmen of the Temple Immediately noted something was wrong. An ancient enemy marching to their gates. The First Transgression. The Cataclysm. The Naoalli was swift to react, and soon the territory the Lizardmen occupied was soon guarded by great walls of white light, as spears of white and gold energy crashed into the mist, which reacted with an audible screech as it moved away suddenly like a verminous thief. The swamp-jungle was now a warzone, as the great hulks of flesh rushed the walls, being mowed down by the defenses on the wall and the energies of the Naoalli. Flesh smashed against the barrier along with untold darkness, as the only temple city was under siege.

Over Onyxis, the fire raining down from the heavens soon became flaming hail, and as it landed into the earth, taking up moss and permafrost into its craters, from the masses came beings of twisted faves and little flesh. Golems of ice and debris started to match in unison towards the settlements of the land, their arms and chest swirling with their infernal cores. Veyolkos stalked many of them from afar, knowing his strength of being an aerial combatant would do poorly in such rough conditions, and so decided on doing something more in his lane. He would strike the constructs from afar and would try to goad the golems into following him through the mountain side using the blast of his patron's infernal flame. Some would follow, their scorched forms ascending back up the peaks only to fall straight into a trap, as their forms fell through a thin bride of frost and crashed into the solid marble ice hundreds of feet below.

The Site of Conflict was no easier situation. Nakai had wandered in, noting Grimgor and Malenia's fight. He gripped his maul with his hands tightly and marched over to the two with the intent to break it up. There were bigger fish to worry about than a warrior's honor. However as he took steps forward he heard something shifting behind him, and the massive Kroxigor turned to face the sound of earth crumpling. And soon he saw it, and was only given a split second to react as he raised the Ogham Shard to block a blow from an obsidian and marble blade. The figure before him was of Malenia's complexion and almost identical to her frame minus well... The row of teeth that decorated the vertical maw down between their breast and to their navel. Or the black and white checkerboard pattern on their skin. Or the horrifying fact the blades were coming from her ulnar bone, and we're in fact jutting out of her arm like a grizzly fracture. The figure smiled and tried to bring down another bladed bone into the reptile, only for Nakai to use his tail to swat their legs out from underneath them. The monstrosity fell to the ground and simply rotated it's body like water in a trough, before standing back up again to swing at the Kroxigor.

Corva and Mahke seemed to be taking things better than they expected. Even with the guns and bullets the Greenskins still ran straight into the line of fire. However even as some of the Boyz started to run from the flame and electric arcs, the Kruleboyz didn't. With one well aimed shot, Corva felt her hand get pierced by a five-five-six round that went straight through. And though her kicks aided her in getting rid of the goblins, a Orruks Ork Boy was able to close the distance and crash into her shoulder first, sending her flying back. The crude metal they used was a great conduit, and many who tried to take on Mahke were briefly shocked, giving her the chance to deliver a fatal blow or lob off an arm, which would cause the Boyz to retreat. But yet another Kruleboy would show their skills, and used their squig-leather pauldron to tank the hit, before swinging back at her with a bear-trap on a chain, hoping to grab her by the leg and throw her around like a toy.

The Xenarchs quickly saw what was happening to the mages. Though they worshiped the warp, knowing it's limitless potential, they also knew the dangers it posed to carbon based life and their overly rationalizing minds. No sooner did the Greenskins, Knights, and Soldiers of Kurnous start to be besieged by their spells several of them turned from the fight and cocked their arm guns, before firing directly into the mages, walking forward in a slow methodical pace as they mowed down the last of the Utensil Usurpers's magic line. Though they were not fully without some semblance of humanity, and if any ran they would cease their firing. And instead look at the Xenarch Heavy Troop under fire with the strange woman of Green. He wasn't fairing the best, but neither was his opponents. While a concussive blast did backfire and seem to dislodge energy flow to his left arm, the other one went off in Green's face, turning her worldview into a chaotic mess of colors and sounds with little to no rhyme. And at this moment she felt the other Xenarchs open fire on her as the heavy on top of her tried to deliver several punches to her nose and jaw, still weakened by the explosive that set off within its shoulder.

At this moment some of the fallen, hoit by more of the warp lightning started to form into a macabre art pieces of many limbs and exposed tissue and nerves. It beat like an excited heart as it started to rise above the battlefield, warp energy gathering around it as a chitinous covering, while it bloomed at the top like a sickly flower with jagged pieces of metal and bone as inner teeth. From it came spores that at first felt sticky and tastes of, and as Greenskin, Silent One, Wyverian, and Xenarch came into contact it it just lead to more confusion. Until it started to interact with the deceased, which began to morph and fuse into one another as walking hulks of flesh, and immediately crashed into the living ranks of the battlefield, amassing more into it's monstrous form. The Greenskins and the other soldiers immediately went onto the defensive, firing back out at the hulk's, as the melee combatants gave the structure and it's minions a wide stretch between them. Yet the flesh spawn kept coming. Until eventually over the knights, soldiers of Kurnous, and Greenskins was a shadow. One with lunar moth like wings and a long neck and tail. The flower like structure turned, trying to follow the great flying force in the sky. But as it turned away the seemingly distant forest line started to... Get closer. Charging at the Carnal Warp Rafflesia and the abominations that followed. It was a line of Treekin, massive creatures that mirrored the abominations though with far more natural symmetry, and reenforced bark instead of muscle. Their slightly skull like faces shrieked back as they engaged the furies and chaos spawn in a exhilarating crash of limbs and bodies, as both sides started to violently dismember and pushed against the other. The flower seemed ready to spreads its spores onto the floral spawn, before a great dragon with nothing wings and a stag's antlers crashed into its stalk, sending the formation reeling to the side as it tried to snap at the Forest Dragon. On the dragons back was the familiar sight of Kurnous, his body now composed entirely of white and pink pedals as they flowed in the accursed wind. He steeled himself and jumped off the drake, plunging an amber spear into the center of the construct as it wailed in pain, thrashing about violently as the dragon now tried to dig its teeth into the armored stalk. Jumping off the dragon's back and onto the row of abominations clashing with the Greentide was a woman in scottish kilt and auroch bone pauldrons came down onto one of the beasts with a great ax in her hand. In an instance of the hulks was cleaved into as she fell down, the blood indistinguishable from her fiery red hair as she roared into battle, hacking into the abominations as Xenarch Warp Fire and Wyverian arrows streaked past her.

Skarnsnik and The Fimir Tyrant snarled as they dueled each other, trying to leverage their pros against the enemy's cons. The Fimir Tyrant was large and she knew that if she got in a single good hit onto the Goblin it was over. Even a stomp from her foot could incapacitate the trickster. Skarnsnik however knew his mobility mixed with Gobbla's agility meant she couldn't land a hit, and opened herself up to the spear's mystical aim. But soon it was found that neither of them were gonna get a good hit in anytime soon, and so conversation started as their blades met and they whorled around the other.

   "WHAT'S DA BIG IDEA!"

"Survival Greenskin. We can not exist together in the same realm... Not again."

   "Wat does dat mean!?"

"YOUR PEOPLE WILL ENDANGER MINE! AND I WILL NOT LET US BE THE SLAVES TO YOUR KIN AGAIN!"

"Lady dere is no Fimir 'ere! And aren't ya with da pointy helmed gits?"

The Fimir paused for a bit, but made sure to lock her blade with his, knowing Gobbos by instinct are prone to opportunistically striking the other party if their defenses are lowered for a bit.

"...No longer... If you are not of the Same cloth... Then are you really from the world of before?"

   "I... Suppose so?"

Gobbla was then quickly lunged by a reptilian creature, of more monstrous proportions and splendid frill and horn ornamentations stop its head. It tries to bring a jagged blade onto the squealing Squig before a clubbed tail from the larger Fimir suddenly strikes its bronze shoulder plate, sending the creature back and onto it's side as it tried to sit itself up, before raising its claws as the Fimir pointed its blade to their throat.

"WHY AREN'T YOU AT YOUR STATION?"

The creature hissed, obviously concerned for its own well being, as it uttered back up to her as it cowarded in her presence.

"Helping... Gates... Whispering... Others are too close... Wanted to free you up from the Greenskin... Warn you."

The Fimir blinked their singular eye, before suddenly sheathing their blade and charging to the portal, running through anyone unfortunate not to step out of the way. Skarnsnik saw this and decided to hop into Gobbla's mouth, pointing his spear at the gate as the massive scaled head with legs charged onwards towards the gate as well.

Tiktaq'to landed on a perch as a Gnoblar and Terme were panicking, trying to beat the gate into submission but with no luck.

"Idiots! Don't touch that!"

The two grunts looked up at the skink stop the terradon and screamed, running away and into the tunnels of the dig site. Tiktaq'to was hoping to try and find out something of the situation, even as harmful energies started to crackle and strike at the ground around it like a Tesla coil. This wasn't his forte, and now out of his element a little he started to panic. He looked at the sigils only recognizing a couple, and started to work from there. And in that moment he quickly ducked away as Ody'nami tried to slice him apart, obviously not happy with his presence near the portal.

"What are you doing?!"

"Working with my creator's tech before it plunges the damn Arena into Warp Space! What about you?!"

"Getting trapped on all sides. It's too dangerous to return to the warp... If my sisters enter now they'll be torn apart-"

The clacking of a staff against the ground interrupted her as Balboa approached the malfunctioning portal, speaking to both of them with a grave expression.

"Neither will like what must be done... I propose we must destroy it, hear me. For this realm to survive-" The Terme and Gnoblar ran out of the tunnels screaming, and so too did a whole host of Silent Ones running out alongside their brethren, as some of the standard warriors tries to evacuate the other silent ones as they turned to face the tunnels. The Silent One's trying to flee noticed the three standing there, and many seemed stunned, not knowing what else to do in these fleeting moments. In their arms were smaller individuals, with more compact bodies and swaddled in leather and silk. They looked back to the tunnels, just as a swarm of otherworldly beast tried to break through the spearmen and towards the tunnel. They had scythe like arms and spiny exoskeletons, along with crooked bird like faces and milky white bulbous eyes. The spearmen at first seemed to be handling their blind charge well, stabbing their polearms into the cracks in their armor or their screeching maws. But soon the numbers became overwhelming, and the silent one spearmen were being pushed back, as their number was quickly grabbed and torn apart as they entered the mass of the main horde. The Silent One's actually started to scream, and Balboa quickly got to the case, throwing several pods down and looking to Tiktaq'to, handing him more of the same spongy mushroom like contraption.

"Fly out quickly! My people need to evacuate, confirm immediately. We'll hold them off... Go! Hurry!"

Tiktaq'to nodded and grabbed the fungal pods, flying out from the warzone as Balboa and Ody'nami took to a warrior's stance, as Balboa set down the fungal turrets and poised them to fire at the oncoming horde. Ody'nami powered up her Toxote and shot at the entrance of the tunnels, hoping to trap those still rising to the surface in the catacomb halls, all the while the Silent One's Spearmen tried to offer themselves up as a wall to defend their more innocent kin. Soon the pods began to bloom out into massive spongy flowers, with Balboa commanding his kin in a far more brutalist tone.

"GO NOW! RUN TO THE HUB! WHERE A MASSIVE CHURCH LIES! SEEK SHELTER IN THE CENTRALIS! HURRY, WITH HASTE!"

The Silent One's nodded and hopped onto the pads, teleporting away in mass as they ran onto the pads.

The other Silent Ones engaging the New Roma forces immediately heard the cries of their kin and ran off immediately, leaving the crustaceans to fend for themselves. Soon the crustaceans saw other figures amidst the fog running for their life. Earthly Toned reptiles of frailer more beastial frames quickly scurrying from the site, and though they still had to face this new cycolptic threat, they were given far more breathing room to do so. The Fimir came in like freight trucks, and though a few shots from the crustacean's weaponry- the hulking leathery mass of the Fimir combined with their legionary armor at best stunned them, at worst completely ran them over flat. Cazdathos was finding herself struggling against the opponent, and as they tried to bring their amber blade into her chest she quickly stepped to the side and took her blade from his arms. Only to kick her opponent in the gut and try to bring her scorpion claw down atop his back to knock them prone.

"Think of the bigger picture brute! I will protect my kin, as you do yours! Do you not hear their screams?!"

With all the Chaos the Lone Centurion finds himself having an odd moment of peace, as little disturbed him now that he was downed. Rotgut was away from him, equally as bruised and battered as the Centurion. Both had no means to truly get up and personal, and The Aristocrat was currently struggling to get out from beneath the centurion. His knees wobbled, but he steeled enough strength in himself to block the cleaver of an Ogor Bull, which had come across the two. The Ogor's own innards were hanging out, his gutplate splintered as the Aughisky Commander's blade found purchase in their flesh, and had gutted the man like a swine. He looked to The Aristocrat who blocked his strike and Groaned. Not out of Malice, but desperation. Joseph had little to feel for such brute, minus the fact all were practically knee deep in another's blood, as they walked on wet, tractionless muck. The Aristocrat wasn't gonna let the centurion be this Ogor's last meal. Rottgut watched this, not noticing the spear that suddenly found purchase in his eye, as the orb was pushed far back into his skull, twitching against the back of his sockets as he gasped, feeling the weapon. But instead of just surrendering to death just yet, he stood up on his other leg, and leaned against his wall support. His voice sounded strained, guttural and utterly exhausted, as his face poured blood down in a steady yet slow manner, costing the armor The Great Besieger.

"Good throw umie... We're both gonna die... So tell me ya name. Dat way I know who to krump against in da big WAAAAAAAAAAGH! in the sky... It was an honor fighting ya Boyz... Best krump I've had whole time ere."

Forming in the center of the Greentide where Orruk boy and Ogor fought tooth and nail, even as their great beast smashed into one another and sent whole ranks of Bulls and Boyz into the air. Flying above the warzone was a Tenno Orbiter, having finally pierced the chaotic storm clouds. Apothea and the others could hear the whispering grow so intense it was now a loud screaming in their minds, Kroq-Gar still looking reserved. Apothea could hear far more then just her own insecurities and judgments on blast in explicit detail, but also the sounds of gunfire, explosions, shrieking beast, pelting asteroids, and endless wailing from around them. Kroq-Gar looked to the ship and spoke up to Halcon, as he grabbed his spear and motioned for the Grineer and Apothea to follow.

"We're dropping down into immediate enemy vicinity."

"Are you sure? I can get you closer to the source..."

"By how much?"

"160 Meters. Not a lot but-"

"It will do. Point stands. Lower your doors."

Cephalon Halcon did so immediately, attempting to lower the vessel further but now it was more then clearly dangerous to do so. As soon as he got into 40 meters of the surface several Maw Crusha's slammed into the vessel, the massive Wyverns mobbing the faster vehicle with the explicit purpose of grabbing it in their jaws or slamming it into the enemy. As the Orbiter Tried to get lower, a trumpeting roar was heard and Apothea could feel the vehicle spin even more erratically, until finally Kroq-Gar grabbed her and yelled to the Grineer.

"JUMP! HALCON IMMEDIATELY MAKE COORDINATES TO ASTIL, KEEP YOUR COMMS ON!"

Kroq-Gar immediately jumped out with Apothea, as the Grineer accompanied him. The air rushed past them, the sounds of weapons locking, men shouting, and beast goring one another filling the air before she could tell Kroq-Gar had crashed into the Earth with considerable force on his feet, feeling the blood of whatever he landed on coating her mask and front. Kroq-Gar let got just long enough for her to see him block a strike from a Black Orruk with his spear, the Greenskin immediately going in for another blow before the grineer landed behind them and fired into the brute, downing it as sparks flew off the armor, before soon black fluid dribbled forth from the armor and it stopped panting. If the Skaven we're numerous, the combined numbers were ten-fold.

"MOVE!"

Kroq-Gar immediately sprinted towards the source of the whispers, as Apothea's mind soon started to feel something else probing it, with promises and curses, with twisted expressions and dark truths. And yet if she stayed still too long she would be set up on by the warring forces around her.

Greentide

After getting pushed back, Corva applies a minor flame spell to her injured hand, cauterizing the wound before wrapping it up with some cloth. These guys are numerous, but Corva is more determined than all of them combined.

Invoking powerful spells, Corva yells, "Freezer Storm! Fire Tatsumaki!"

In quick succession, Corva fires off a powerful blizzard spell, followed by a burning tornado spell at the orks. The plan is to use heat-expansion physics against the horde of orks. If that plan somehow worked, Corva attempts to finish off the orks with her finishing move, the Chodenji Spin! Basically, Corva turns her hands into blades and pierces through her opponents like a madman. If this succeeds, Corva will be considered a badass.

As she was getting spun around by the Ork, Mahke asks herself what her heroines would do in this situation. Ah, that's right! They would use the momentum of her foe against them! With the power of god and anime on her side, Mahke attempts to turn the tables against the orc and spin him around like a lasso.

Fairies

William's holding back tears?? Or at least his trembling tone and lips suggests he is. People born with magic tend to beat him out of morbid curiosity so he doesn't get a lot of friends, let alone people who just outright say they want to be. "T-Thanks, Cirno, Luna. I can't help it- I-I-I'm not used to this- Sorry"

Inside

"WRONG!! And don't you think even a moment I'm letting your family see you again..."

Emma floats up (she's a little short relatively speaking) and holds up the imperial. She would have used him as a get-out-of-fire free card, but seeing all the carnage just ensue in one quick swipe, she just puts him down with a quick gunshot through the head before he could process anything. A mercilessly merciful act. She's mildly irritated by Pyra.

"Can you not put the SOLDIERS IN FUCKING SHOCK WHILE I'M ASKING THEM THANKS?!"

She tosses the body aside before entering the next room and absentmindedly walks to a door without anyone saying anything but she flies back once the Alpha Metroid screeches. Emma immediately attempts to fend off or harm the monster with an overwhelming amount of energy shots.

Outside

   "Regroup!"

The moment the fighters are taken out by the men's persistent gunfire, they scatter to not be picked out by any more aerial forces. Which was a good call considering what's to come.

Erika meanwhile, being such a small target, visibly bounces around the main ship's blasts. At first it does seem manageable but the more shots are fired the more exhaustive it gets. She tries to speed up closing the gap between her and the Troop Transport, having the same thought process as Emma.

"First Lieutenant to Captain, requesting direct fire support from the Bell units!"

Lucas on the other end of the line accepts. He wants to see what they're like on the battlefield.

"...Affirmative"

They're coming 1-2 turns from the next.

Apothea is unbothered by the blood and the fall. She's never actually dealt with this much blood on her, but she removes it quickly regardless, literally burning it off with a pulse of fire magic.

Immediately implicitly understanding the situation by virtue of how many huge and vastly more dangerous enemies there are running around, Apothea does not have to be reminded to move.

The sounds, the whispers, curses... they do not make Apothea pause, but they do bother her, just a little bit. They are invasive words, reminding her of her failures, telling her bitter and awful truths.

But in the chaos, Apothea allows the words to turn into background noise, her mind going nearly entirely blank save for what little it needs to do now. The sensation is as if Apothea were a spectator to her own body, alone and without the strength to form complex thoughts.

Effective in this instance to starve the warp-driven hallucinations, but by no means healthy.

It's an old coping mechanism, but it works.

And it's something quite peculiar / Something shimmering and white.

Malenia takes everything around her in perfect stride, continuing to slash and slice at Grimgor. While she notes reality unwrapping itself around her, and the various emerging abominaties born out of this crash in reality, she decides that Grimgor takes priority, and that similar threat has been undone before, one she even brought before: why care, when she has a fight to finish?

Grimgor hits the air, as Malenia pass by him and attempts to tear his back open with repeated strikes. However, thus ends her attack, as she cancel the attack to try to keep it going, still conscious that the fight will hit an end soon by Warp fuckery if she doesn't try to end things early.

Blood from her earlier wounds seeps through, though her willpower is mending them at a rate slower than Grimgor's, as she attempts to bleed him dry.

Django's back on his feet, after nibbling his way through a potent Heal Fruit.

"I think you're good. At this point, everyone here is either saved or gone. If you want to check in person there's one girl upstairs, and a few others in the rooms back that way," he says, pointing down the hall. Oh, shit right, Peter is right there on the floor at the end of the hall, slowly bleeding out. ... Good news I guess, his position put him out of the way of the Gun Devil's barrage.

Girlfriend finally calms down, huffing in frustration before going to get a healed Boyfriend.

"Beep?!"

"We're going somewhere."

As he's dragged off by the shirt, he has time to sheepishly wave goodbye to those present. Particularly Melia, to whom he leaves a "Badoop! Hey, thanks! for her help.

EV Office

The bug-faced robot takes a lot of internal notes. Once Aki finishes his speech, he needs a few extra seconds before he responds:

"That... sounds awful. Carry on."

Lorentz needs a couple of seconds to come up with an answer. If it were possible for a strange attractor to have a worried look, he'd have one right now.

"Well, I'm not sure how much we can say about our weapons, unfortunately. Still, thanks."

The avatar types away at thin air. Suddenly, he bends slightly backwards, then continues typing more intensely. Something has caught his attention.

The two other avatars have finally finished their Tetris match. Seeing a new visitor, one of them - a human form made of a cubic lattice whose cubes continuously shrink in and out of existence - exits the game, while the other one, who looks like a skeleton rig of an animating software, continues practicing his 40-line sprint. The cubic lattice decides to answer Daiakuma's question.

"Well, no. All we know is that it started shooting up the place and that we had to protect..."

The avatar shrugs.

"Anyways, can we do something for you-"

...before getting interrupted by an alarm and the building lowering into the ground yet again, sheltering from the warp storm. He facepalms.

""Bunker mode activated. Please remain calm until the outside threat has passed or has been resolved."

"Two threats in the same hour. For the love of CenterBrain, what is wrong with this universe?"

Exotic Ventures

Aki nods, before continuing. "Where I came from, apparently various countries controled various chunks of the gun devil, and could possibly call upon those parts of the gun devil through contracts..."

He realizes he's missed something important. "As for contracts, Devils can make deals with humans known as contracts which, honestly, operate in odd ways. If either side breaches the contract, they probably die. Both sides have conditions, and usually those conditions can fufill themselves."

Aki ponders things over, before looking to the machine constructing his new arm, saying "I'd not usually tell what contracts I have, but seeing as I'm getting a new arm out of this, I can tell you one."

Aki points to his right eye. "I have a contract with the future devil. They allow me to see five seconds into the future. In exchange, it's taken up living in my right eye." He sighs before saying "Because I'm going to die in what he conisders the worst way possible, and wants to see it for himself. And this is a relatively good deal. No loss of limb, years of your lifespan, or flesh."

He then says "Most of those contracts are worth it for devil hunting. Even If I have under two years left to live before I just drop dead, contracts I've made and used have saved lives. And have ended the lives of devils and fiends."

He looks down. This isnt his usual attitude. The gun devil attacking shook him up a bit.

Chaos that is no longer limited to the Mychars Hotel

Nia takes Django's advice very seriously, and sweeps the rest of the hotel for the injured, taking particular note of the places he specifically mentioned to make sure nobody... starts to decay.

In the meantime, Melia, who can do little more than stay with Nia in case something goes wrong again, waves back at Boyfriend just before she gets going.

"May we meet again under more favorable circumstances," she replies. It is only a few moments later that she questions why she understood the exact meaning of what she's sure was just some beeping noises.

...

Of course, elsewhere, more chaos is brewing, but Hub Centralis is gratefully a relative safe haven from all that nonsense, especially with most everyone retreating back to it.

And it's something quite peculiar / Something shimmering and white.

... Just what exactly are you forced to eat? Well this won't do! Azura claps her hands, and deep within the church, some cooks get ready, preparing themselves to burden the great appetite of a college student. Or a vigilante with his fair share of poisonous or rancid meals at least. The kitchens of the church are not as strictly "church" looking so as to make a proper place, but it's not like Simon will be seeing them. Come with me to the dining halls, where are feeding many who... oh. Azura's long ears flutter about, as she perceives the great unraveling of reality.

With a hurried pace, she holds up an index and climb up the stairs leading to the doors. There, below a twisted sky, Hub Centralis, a safe haven in an Arena being torn apart by the Warp, but not for long, given how many people are rushing towards the church, perhaps hoping that Gor will protect them from it. And indeed it will, for the doors of the church are wide open and ready to take in as many people as the colossal building can hold!

Flock or not, you are all safe beneath Gor's Gaze! But hurry! For I fear that a radical end must be brought to such a spreading evil! Meteorika galvanizes, standing in front of her great church, letting the good people of the Arena enters. She doesn't care much for the Warp, because she's seen plenty, but the church is far from sharing her opinion: Gor or not, this is twisted. Reality at the hands of a very drunk surgeron who is in a hurry and lacks the proper tools to do the job.

Oh yes, it hasn't spread in Hub Centralis quite yet, but...

What is happening?! What sort of madness has been unleashed?! swears Azura, running to the gates, prepared to fight. Loki rolls his eyes, himself standing on top of said gates.

It's the Warp. Bad thing to happen to this realm. And I don't think this place's humble concrete grounds and pliable buildings will hold to it, he scoffs. Fending it off would be a great demonstration of Great Gor's skills and powers. Though it may spread across all the Arena beforehand.

Good, then all will witness Gor; Meteorika thinks to herself, rubbing her hands internally as she encourages more and more people to come in. Come forth! None of you will die today!

Oh, also Eve would care about what Aki said, but she finds herself more preoccupied with THE W A R P. Next time bud!

...

Elsewhere in Hub Centralis, and at places where Eve has built hospitals, great barriers of light are erected around the hospitals, with one brief gap for people to flock to. Eve's gift, though she is wanxious and afraid for the people who won't make it.

This at least leaves the Eve in the EV building to be fairly relaxed since others are doing her job for her. She even waves to the familiar, in a friendly manner! This is a Nexus World, it draws in many realities all at once. The good and the bad... mostly the latter, unfortunately. She grumbles the last part.

Wait, what about the people outside of the building? I don't think that this evil has reached us so far but I worry... Eve focus and close her eyes, perceiving the world around her for a brief moment, though eyes that do not see, ears that do not hear.

When she reopens her eyes, she's, erm, worried. It's a... blight upon reality, she mutters. Perhaps that atrocious demon summoned it for some reason? Well, nevertheless, I should be getting to work in closing it. Well, I, the other Is. I'll... help this place if anything happen. With my magic and this technology, we mig-we will hold! Eve says, winking and slapping her right hand on her left bicep, holding it up like she's posing for a propaganda poster.

And we will eat candies and laugh about this in no less than a few hours! Well, maybe healthier things than candies but... Eve chuckles, scratching her chin.

...

Sarah is so deep in her trance that she doesn't perceive the Warp, and neither does Thor, who contemplates Flandre's ultimate attack: the flames of Hell. Or even hotter, certainly enough to let the Necrostorm screech in pain upon being so much as lightly singed by it. Fearing for her sword's safety, Sarah decides to join the fight herself, jumping ahead of the Necrostorm.

She reshapes it in mid-flight, desperately cobbling up the few unincinerated bits into a large black lightning bolt, small enough to her to grab it. Even the Necrosword is hitting its limits today! So she has to anticipate a Sadistic Choice ahead: take out Thor or Flandre, if she can even take either out at this point. But since the vampire is attacking her...

Sarah throws the bolt at Flandre. And the attacks briefly collide, as their ultimate moves clash. But then the Necrosword does what it does best: it infests, and corrupts. Almost outraged after all the burnings it had to endure, the living weapon decide to dish out some payback, beginning to spread and do more than smother the flames: it becomes the flame itself. Corrupting and blackening the blazes of Surtr. Oh, it will hurt, a lot even, but Sarah hold on.

Bullshit! I'm not drawing with her like Thor did! I'm... at least... GrrraaagghhhhhhhhhhhhhAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH! Sarah absorbs the flames of Surtr, the darkness of the Necrosword engulfing the flames. The power is still Flandre's, and it won't be lost or weakened, but a large black flame hangs in the sky above the forts.

The fire upon which the Universe was forged, and the fire that will consume it. The warm darkness that engulfs all that pass between the cracks of reality, forever. The unknown heat that blessed man before he even discovered fire. A forge older than any sun, for it spat them all out.

The Necroblaze.

And Sarah stands below it, completely taken out of the fight, much to her joyful regret: though Flandre is taken out, so is she, watching her awesome little flame flicker, no bigger than a candle.

S-shit... You're strong... hehe... Sarah whispers to Flandre, before laying down, also out of energy.

Thor blinks, awe struck yet also disappointed. AYE! he snaps out of it, having sat on the sidelines. NOW TO BORROW THEIR INTELLIGENCE! Thor fly towards the RED base, beginning to let go of his hammer as he intends to claim their intelligence!

...

Omen! Beet smiles smugly, hands on her hips, showing off her grey outfit: a sort of grey ki, that covers her neck and arms, with a red belt and such.

I'm pretty good with it, as you can see! That waterfall didn't stand a chance even when I was standing right below it!

"Sick. I could never," he chuckles. "More of an 'unga bunga' kind of guy myself. Or, well. I guess it depends."

He waves a finger, before pointing at her.

"Don't think I ever got your name. You were at the fight against Seth, yeah?"

Upstairs, there's just some blue gelatin. I don't know if Nia will recognize that as someone's remains.

Django follows along, reaching Peter 1. He mumbles out an apology for not getting to him earlier while feeding him a Heal Fruit paste.

Everyone else is essentially deceased, but if Nia's healing prowess is really that prodigious, I wouldn't put it past her to be able to save Katarina and Peter Thor. With Amoeboi, it's the same problem as above - will she recognize splattered bits of cytoplasm as a person?

And of course, I doubt they're feeling charitable towards Mell.

The Greentide: Cataclysm FEAT MALENIA AND CORVA-MAHKE

Grimgor's axe misses his mark, and he instead blows up the ground before him with such force her stumbles back, straight into the many slicing blades of the Blade of Miquella. He roared in pain, feeling more of his own blood spill out. He tried to strike her again and again, trying to parry her. But he was on a losing streak, and he knew it. He knew the game she was playing. Umie's loved to be tactical and thorough. They put math into fighting. But he was done playing by her rules. By their rules. So instead he took his axe and had it meet her blade, before attempting to grab her arm and disconnect it entirely from it's socket, and though Malenia could fight back against him tearing off her refound appendages, he came in with a sudden headbutt straight to her jaw.

"IM DEAD 'ARD MALENIA. OI DIDN'T FOIGHT THRU HELL TO GO BAK!"

At first Corva seems to be an unstoppatable one man party. The fire tornado and ice magic seemed to the Greenskin's biggest weakness. The ice limited their movements and crystalized their blood flow, and they seemed exceptionally flammable. Dozens of scores of Boyz were swept into the vortex of flame, before being thrown back down to earth as smouldering husk. The fragments of the Gun Devil tight in their hands. Only for another Boy to pick it up and continue the fight. And that's when her spells stop the Boyz soon turned green. And a great deal greener then they should be, before the fire tornado fizzled out, and standing in the middle of it all a Orruk with a strange, colorful, wooden baleful mask that was a crude tiki-like replica of an orruk's face. They wore nothing but Squig leather and boar fur cape, and a loin cloth or course. Decorated around their neck were hundreds of fangs from all sorts of beast, and in his hand was a centuries old staff, carved from bonewood and decorated with a boar's skull on the top. He spoke in a frenzied manner, like he was high on caffeine as she also noted he was dancing in place.

[ "DEY FINALLY BROUGHT A MAGE? AND DEY PLAYIN CHEAP?"

A strange fuzzy creature atop the orruk's shoulder looked over from him to the girl and hissed, as he took a deep breath and shouted at the woman.

"IM DA GREEN PROPHET, AN' YUZ IZ MESSIN' WITH DA DIVINE'Z ORDAS!"

He faced Corva, and from the mask green bolts of purest spite burst forth from the Shaman's eyes and streaked towards the battlemage.

Mahke at first was making some progress and soon the Kruleboy was up in the air, spinning as he gave a loud holler he wasn't at all interested in this change of roles. But it didn't matter, as he soon cut the chain with a crude knife, being thrown a few meters away, as he got up onto his feet and smirked back at her with thin, scarred lips. She soon felt something land against the back of her head: the fist of an angry Kruleboy as it tried to send her flying towards the other one.

2fort

Even though the pit below the bridge is already being filled with water, a lot of it evaporates, and a thick mist forms. Stefan, having just exited the Blu sewers, drops off the bat and uses the mist as cover for himself to climb above the bridge, run into the Red fort, jump up the grate and rush down the spiral. The Red intel still hasn't been capped, maybe Rumia is still KO? And thank goodness there's nobody to interrupt him, but Stefan still loads a plasma burst into his barrel.

Meanwhile, a medical drone approaches both Sarah and Flandre, providing cooling packs, skin regeneration paste and plasters, as well as examining the two fighters for injuries.

Beet nods proudly, folding her arms. I blasted him with an universal Spirit Bomb! It gave me a bit of a reputation at base, because come on, it's rare enough to do that! That guy could have put the beatdown on Kakarot or Vegeta! I mean... I had help, and I guess it wasn't technically my attack, but I started it, so I get a bit more than half the credit? 55%?

Then, she hears him out and looks briefly disappointed. Oh? You're not like "well surely all I need to win is another Super Saiyan form" she says, trying to sound stereotypically "dumb" for a moment, even mimicking flailing with her arms. Like, erm... Vegeta or a lot of other guys.

"Well-"    Daiakuma begins only to be cutoff by the alarms.    "I guess I'll wait here for now..."    She then listens to Eve's reassurances but doesn't seem too reassured.

"Ahem, well I could sense a devil presence from the... remains. But I don't sense anything remotely similar from whatever is going on outside. I suspect it's something else entirely."    she says, her wings fidgeting.    "Though I admit I'm not an expert on devils from outside my homeworld. Something on that level I think only Lady Shinki could pull off, though not something she would actually do considering her kind nature."

Flandre manages to flip herself over on her back, sighing out of exhaustion.

"Ha... you're not bad either." she says to Sarah. The drones will find a LOT of burns on her, most regenerating but not as fast as usual. Plus she's still left rather drained of energy, even more than last time.

Rumia peeks out again, spotting Thor coming and has to think for once. She could let him go past, or try to slow down someone she already knows she can't keep up with and probably get KO'd a third time today.

She sighs, then fires a pair of lasers at him. This is going to stink.

Ursaluna would find a barrage of high pressure water shots hitting it as a silhouette fades into existence. It looks like a spherical green and blue robot with long arms ending in sharp claws, stockier if stubbier legs and a single pink eye on the top of its body.

"Hey you overgrown beast! Don't you know it's rude to attack enterprising businesses?" a female voice asks from inside as the head opens to show a rather short girl with a green cap, blue raincoat like dress with way too many pockets and a backpack heavier than herself peeks out. "Though this is a good chance to test out my latest gadgets, hehe."

The cockpit quickly seals shut again as the robot makes the universal "bring it" gesture.

"What in the balls-" A woman fitted out in the late 1800s drip fell back in her chair, sitting just outside of Tom's Diner, a cup of what these more modernized folk referred to as "Coffee" flying from her hand and spilling on some poor, random dude behind her.

Refusing to acknowledge it as admitting guilt such could get her sued (because getting sued apparently is the biggest issue that a daughter of slaves gone outlaw who lives in the untamed West has to deal with), the woman got to her feet as the bear burst into the diner. Even from behind, the creature looked enormous, much larger than any ursine predator she had hunted in the past.

A golden, almost floral rune appeared on the ground beneath her, strengthening the power of the six shots she immediately fired off at the bear, her gun at her hip.

With quick reflexes, Corva sidesteps the magical bolts and attempts to go for a quick Repuu Seikenzuki dragon uppercut straight at the ork magician's gut. Clearly, Corva intends to take the wind out of the sharp-toothed freak. And if that somehow fails, she attempts to pull off an Sonic Boom slicing kick on the monstrosity.

To the ork mage, Corva retorts, "I don't give a darn about your divine orders."

Even after getting launched by the gigaton punch, Mahke has a plan in mind for this. She tries to slow her momentum down by stabbing the ork in the back with her lightning sword. And even if that dumb plan failed, she tries using the gun she picked up against orks as if she were an adventurer archeologist from one of those films or video games she loves so much. Turnabout is fair play, right?

Mahke exclaims, "Dear Tagah Rumid, these guys are rougher than the rest of them."

"You can say that again, Mahke! I'd hate to see what would happen if they invade Liminalia!"
