Nacho and Belén, seeing how the skeleton is focused in Emi right now, grab the skeleton's legs, trying to pulling it from behind to lose its balance. If succed, Emi will do a Ryu-style Shoryuken at its maw, with enough strenght to rip its skull off the spine. If not, he will run quickly between its legs, trying to avoid the double slash.

Reprium-Night

Between teared sniffles said the kimono clad girl.

The girl stood extremely short, at 130cm, or 4'3,seemed to be young as well

She then started just straight up crying

"Why am I in a random place again!?...I wanna go home!"

Mark awkwardly looks at the sword, which is now broken.

Beat

"....Well, shit." He gets bonked by the shield bash, knocking him back and out of balance, subconsciously making the chains disappear. He recovers quickly though, tossing the broken sword's remains aside and immediately sending a burst of fire to the skeleton from his hands.

Soil Beach

Defense leisurely strolls onto the scene, tossing and catching a Nether Star as he walks.

Amongst him are some of the usual suspects: X, Kim Kaphwan, Neos, and Colonel.

Defense: "Alright then; It's finally time to close our tab. You feel it?"

Vague Reprium, Day

Ralf gets grabbed, but sorta twists in midair and comes back down with a blazing diving punch! If it connects, it'll drag Jam down to the ground and explode upon impact!

The Ashen One runs to the fight that's still ongoing and attempts to brutally interrupt it with an axe-whack to the Skeleton.

Vs. Arsenal Bird

Gallikrex's barrier faltered under the hail of missiles, leaving him with a bit of damage. He wasn't on death's door — more just surprised.

   "Come here you little metal BASTARDS!"   

He seemed... annoyed. After passing through the APS thanks to Susana, he went to grab one of the offending drones while sweeping over it and the others with his frost-breath. If this was successful, he would then attempt to yeet the frozen drone directly at the Arsenal Bird in irritation.

Soil Beach, Tropique

Indeed — one chapter ends, and another begins. The soulsand lives and breathes around me.

There was a pause as Simmons considered his words.

You are settled on your choice of reward as well, then?

Callis watches Oca roll and rise again. "...?"

She gets in a ready stance of her own.

Jam suffers the full force of the attack, being brought back down to the ground with him in an explosion.

She bursts back to her feet, flame roaring around her. Her veins bulge out and glow red, muscles increasing in density as she taps into Limit Breaker.

「超高火災ほうき星バーァァァァァァストォォォ！」

Her body transforms into a living inferno as she rushes straight at Ralf with a full-body tackle carrying the heat of an exploding star!

Ain leans back and cracks a smirk, taking a sip of the offered coffee. "So, Mara finally got her due. Serves her right."

Zenkichi shakes his head incredulously. "This is way above my pay grade..."

Hm... he ponders. I was a street urchin. A small fish in a bigger pond, until I met a bigger fish who saw potential in me. I cleaned up and got conscripted into the Marines. Our job objective is to bring "justice", protect the innocents and keep peace afloat.

He sighs tiredly. Well, some people have a different definition of justice than I do though, but I still believe that what we do is right. It's not all black and white, there's good pirates and rotten Marines, but I'm sure I can sort that out when I get to it.

... Now why are you a skeleton?

"It would've been even sweeter if Wanda had managed to kill Mara while she was trapped in that illusion. But don't worry, she'll be ready to fix that mistake when Mara eventually finds find her way back here."

Pietro takes a sip of his own coffee.

"Now, what I don't get is why the Assassins had a spy in the base for so long, but made him wait forever to actually do something. He could've leaked info, or killed Pseudo in his sleep, or destroyed the base from the inside by now. Instead, they wasted him on this one attack. Either they were trying to distract us from a bigger plan or the Assassins just have no freaking clue how to handle spies."

Hmm... how win...

Oca flares his Kaioken again, before dashing forwards with his arms trailing behind him. He forms a Destructo Disk in each palm, before bringing them to the fore and swinging them like energy blades.

Between Mark’s flames, and the Ashen One’s axe, the skeleton stood very little if no chances, falling apart into a pile of bones.

Meanwhile, the seven foot skeleton was growing agitated, after being pulled off of balance for the however manyth time in a row. Emi’s attack connected…but at what cost? The skeleton had been knocked back onto its feet by the damage, suffering little damage due to the lack of a weapon, and its swords were still very much en route for Emi’s faceholes.

"You ready, bud?" Luin asked the monster besides her, ignoring the looks from the passing townspeople.

The Bullfango huffed in response, not quite full grown but nearing the age at which he could be called a Bulldrome. Spines had already begun surfacing on his back, and he was a considerable bit larger than the average Bullfango now. Luin, too, had seen some development, her quiver now outfitted with two extra types of arrows, although her skill with the bow, she hated to admit, had not improve much in the month that had passed since the Nergigante.

Ah, the Nergigante.

Or rather, Annihilation Nergigante, as it had been classified by the Guild. When she returned, egg in hand, the first thing she did was deliver it to the Guild embassy. They had listened to her story, and had taken the egg for study. In return, they gifted her a baby Bullfango, which had been with her the last month. Since then, a group of expert hunters had been sent out after the Nergigante, and Luin had stuck to mostly delivery and small monster quests.

Until a few days ago, when this quest had come in. This was it, her chance to prove herself. A Yian Kut-Ku, terrorizing a small, isolated village here in Estraole, and who better to deal with it than someone native to the very same world this monster had come from?

Of course, the possibility of others seeking fame and fortune seemed possible, but Luin did not allow that to bring down her mood.

JUICE's attempts are intercepted by a third radio signal from the source of the first one, basically acting to jam his own jamming.

There's a brief moment where the APS and Susana's bubble have both stopped against each other. Then the APS keeps going, and Susana, the Junior Express, the dragonfly riders, and Gallikrex slip through.

Meanwhile, the drones are fucking nuked. Not much else that needs to be said.

"Holy... holy CRAP! I didn't think it was possible to get through the APS! Quick, smash all of the propellers!"

The drone Gallikrex brought with him merely smashes to pieces against the Arsenal Bird's hull, leaving little more than a scratch.

She pushes herself back onto her feet and throws out an Earth-Splitting Galick Gun - the same relative strength for her power level as the one Vegeta unleashed all the way back in the Saiyan Saga. In short, it hits unbelievably hard for one that fires so fast, but she's left wide open for a good while after.

Vague Estraole

Reyna sits on a rock, sharpening a Nargacuga Insect Glaive.

She looks up as Luin passes by. The rider's armor is of a familiar make to her, reminiscent of New World starting gear. "Ey. You a rookie?"

Vs. Arsenal Bird

Susana opens her eyes, and she looks they are at the other side. Yeah! We did it!

Clarilú asks: Propellers?

Yeah, those things spinning behind. Everybody, focus your attacks in one propeller each. If possible, try to destroy more than one. Quick!

Paty and Susana fires a focused Love Beam at one propeller, Tatiana tries to punch another one, Pipo orders Loli to fire a Sonic Boom at other one, and the Junior Express tries to ram through all of them!

Dark Souls

Emi kicks one of the falchions, and backflips quickly to avoid the slash... Altough them let Emi noticeable (and painful) marks on each cheek.

Hey, guys. That skeleton is still alive: we must destroy it quickly, all together!

The trio jumped high, and they tries to do a triple kick at its chest!

Defense thinks for a second before deciding.

Defense: "I think one of those energy things. Beacons, yeah? Having one of those for the Tower would be kinda neat."

'"I suppose you could say that." Luin tilted her head, an aura of confusion beaming through in her face. The armor that this woman wore was unfamiliar to her, but there was no mistaking that weapon: the insect glaive. As she pat the head of the monster besides her, the Rider prepared to speak again to the presumed Hunter on her armor, but was soon distracted.

Specifically, by the two costumed loonies who Luin could only guess were here chasing after this Bird Wyvern as well. The woman was speechless, her mouth hanging slightly agape as she gazed at the two.

Oca barely has time to cross his arms in front of his chest before he is hit unbelievably hard, and is blasted away, skidding back through the dirt as he's carried back by the force of the beam. Scorch marks form on the parts of his body exposed to the blast.

"Tch!"

Sticking his roasting arms forwards into the blast, he fires a burst of energy, launching the Destructo Disks straight up through the stream of energy as they slice through it effortlessly! He's overtaken a moment after firing though, being flung back even further.

"Yes, YES!   LET US DANCE AMONG THE EMBERS OF A BROKEN KINGDOM!"   

Jean, grinning like a maniac, reached into the pocket-space wherein her sword resided and drew its deathly-black blade forth, darting sideways to avoid a volley of blasts as she coated her sword in dragonfire...

Before darting in and taking three shots straight to the chest. Ouch. Even so, she charged forward despite her wounds which spilled more of her strange lifeblood onto the roof, and attempted to bring her weighty, executioner-style sword down in a massive cleave towards Blixer!

I can easily arrange that, once I am within a proper body. On my word as a mage, it shall be done.

Simmons knew he could work out the exact details later, but given that he knew of a... rather substantial cache of resources left behind by his people, he figured it wouldn't be... that difficult to bring a proper beacon together.

Now, how does this work, pray tell? It's quite unfamiliar to me, different as it is from what I would call 'traditional' summoning.

Gallikrex shook his head, regaining his cool. He rose high and pulled one claw back, mana, lightning, and frost dancing over his claws as he intoned a magic of draconic nature — not a spell, but something... else.

   "[CLOUD-CLEAVING STRIKE]!"   

A semicircle razor of supernaturally-sharpened wind shot forward as he swung his claw, ripping through the air as it spun towards the Arsenal Bird's propellers! If he was lucky, it might bounce and strike a second propeller — but he wasn't putting money down on that.

"Oh SHI-" Callis gets floored by the Destructo Disks again. See: wide open for a while after firing.

"Huff... hah..." She starts to rise up on all fours.

Jam skids to a stop on her face, the flame and Limit Breaker both dying out. "Eh, I had fun while it lasted." She gives Ralf a thumbs-up.

Inferno Cop explains, "My entire family was murdered by the nefarious organization Southern Cross, and I rose from the dead to avenge them! That's why!"

Ain shrugs. "My guess is that if Balloon Boy tried anything, even if he succeeded, he'd incur the full wrath of Pseudo's guys. They used him to find Pseudo's base so that they could try and wipe out the entire organization at once - any less would set themselves up to get hit back hard. But they failed anyway."

Reyna spares the superheroes little more than a glance. She's been around here more than long enough to be unfazed by it. "Are you on a hunt?" she asks Luin.

Soil Beach

The answer comes in the form of a Kaze speech. He snatches the Nether Star from Defense's hands and throws it into the air before pointing the Magun at it.

Firing the Magun

"The darkness that dictates the time of destruction, Demolition Black! The daggers of an angry rain, Arrow Black! Finally, a stench that burns the soul itself, Sulfur Yellow!"

"Raise Hell! I summon you forth, Simmons!"

Kaze fires the Soil at the Nether Star, and as it swirls together into one, it arcs around the Nether Star and engulfs it in the ensuing light, assimilating it into what is about to emerge...

Oca was also left a little open on account of being blown away by an energy wave. Callis might have a little more time than she thought to recover.

Once he does get his bearings though, he dashes back into the fray, aiming to throw a quick flurry of basic jabs at her, finishing off with a palm strike!

"But he could've sent them the location whenever the hell he wanted. The Assassins could've tried this plan all the way back when Springtrap and Mephiles were still alive," Pietro replies. "Why wait until now to actually do anything? It doesn't make any freaking sense. Even if they were trying to throw us off from a bigger scheme, again, wouldn't it have been smarter to do it sooner?"
