Pyra is having a cup of tea while sitting on a bench. She seems positively serene.

They tilted their head in confusion

"So. . . everyone will try to kill me? Why?" Their tone is now a mix of scared and confusion

Uh.... There's an inelegant grunt, and Pyra will see Max standing besides her, wearing an odd fumbled mess of clothes, and with a neat white headband on... her head.

Oh hey Pyra. You seems happy. She smiles and begins looking around for someone, only to decide, fuck it, she's in a good mood, Pyra's in a good mood, they can sit together without Weiss, right?

You mind if I sit? If allowed to, Max sit down, and lay a bottle of nuka-cola on the table. If not, for some reason, she kind of stands there, very awkwardly, and drinks from it.

Vague Reprium

A tank roars through Reprium, followed by a few jeeps.

They all have the logo of the Regular Army on them, the tank seemingly custom.

Almost as if it senses someone, the tank opens by itself, allowing it's pilot to jump out.

A girl seemingly materializes by his side, looking worried.

"We still haven't found her, and we've been separated from the Lieutenant for quite some time..."

"Don't worry about it, Alice! We split up to look for Leona, remember? He's probably with her. And if he's not, I'm sure he can handle himself just fine."

Unfortunately for the Nergigante, Marth does not lose his grip so easily, as he raises his shield to defend against the whirlwind. Fortunately, he does get knocked backwards onto his ass, leaving him completely vulnerable for a follow-up.

Callis opens her eyes and watches as Courne departs without the meat Oca so generously provided him. "... Well that sucks. Anyway."

She finishes transforming.

However, almost immediately after, Callis pauses. "I sense a Sister's presence!"

"Don't mind me," remarks a Chinese-accented voice. "Just watching... and streaming."

"Okay, fine, whatever. We'll talk after the fight." Callis waves her arms in circular motions, ending at her signature battle stance.

It begins with a spark in the water. Electricity spreads through the swamp's surface.

More crackles follow, leaping out of the water, bounding and arcing to trees. They continue, building in number and intensity, before converging together and exploding into a pillar of lightning.

"Finally..."

NEUFF TRIPADORA slams down into the now-dry swamp.

She spreads her arms dramatically, clenching her fists as she stares into the sky. "Set's gone, that weird thing released me, and Thanos doesn't care about me anymore. I'm finally free! Free to make my big comeback!"

LeBlanc

A bunch of cops happen to be gathered at the cafe.

"Nothing beats Sojiro's curry after a hard day's work," mutters Zenkichi.

"You have your opinions, I have my Big Mac," retorts Janine.

"Sausages go great in curry and as hamburger toppings," proclaims Inferno Cop.

"I'll just eat anything that gives me energy," Inspector Zenigata chimes in. "As long as it gives me the strength to keep chasing Lupin."

Their fifth comrade just grumbles. She senses a hand reaching for her transforming weapon and suddenly seizes Lupin with telekinesis before hurling him against the wall. "Can you not? We're having dinner."

Zenigata stands up so fast, even Ain is shocked by his speed. "LUPIIIIIIIN!"

"No, no, Inspector. We're not doing this right now." Ain clenches her fist before flexing outwards and teleporting Lupin away.

High Hrothgar

Three silhouettes appear on the roof of the monastery.

"Alright. You have another chance. Don't blow it."

"Do you take me for a moron? I wouldn't have blown my chance to begin with if Thor didn't fuck it up for everyone."

"Yeah, yeah, don't worry. I've just got unfinished business to take care of."

"Finding that Eleven bitch and making her sorry."

Ralf beams at Jam's entrance.

Ralf: "Oh hell yeah! This is getting interesting!"

Alice gives Ralf a side-eye before sighing.

Alice: "Just don't get too sidetracked now; We have a mission."

Ralf: "Of course not, Alice. I'm not gonna let Leona stay lost forever, you know that."

He turns back to Jam, beaming a wide grin as he enters a battle stance.

Ralf: "Now, come on! Lay one on me!"

"No tank? Now I'm interested."

Gogeta vs. Broly Instrumental Cover

Jam erupts with a fiery battle aura before rushing at Ralf with a series of rapid-fire punches, each one carrying a payload of searing-hot flames that linger in the air. By the time her Rapid-Fire Fisticuffs stop, she's created a stable fireball from the constant flame-punches.

If Ralf's moved out of the way she'll grab this fireball and throw it at him to make a finishing explosion. If he was caught in the full combo, though, she'll just turn away all 'cool guys don't look at explosions' while he's trapped in the fireball and let it detonate with him inside.

Vague Reprium

Ralf lets himself get hit by the barrage, getting trapped and blown up...

But he gets up, largely unscathed (but still kinda singed).

Ralf: "Damn, that's a real good one! But don't think I'm some rookie; It'll take more than that to bring me down!"

Smell Of Gunpowder - The King Of Fighters XI

Ralf rushes in, unleashing his own flurry of punches, a small but powerful explosion resulting from every single blow!

When he notices Sister:tm:, he waves.

"Howdy... you! Talk to ya in a bit!"

"No Blue, huh? I'll make you regret going that easy on me."

This fight is exclusively being held to help Callis blow off steam. Let's keep things simple. Primal Oca bursts forwards for half a second, before throwing up his hands and unleashing a wave of energy.

After X does the bawoop, the E.M.M.I. does the beep.

"If you're on break, do you want to go back down now? We can handle the rest from here."

"Blue has drawbacks. God doesn't." Callis is launched back by the Evil Explosion, but she lands on her hands and promptly bursts with energy to rocket back towards Oca.

"Besides..." Once up close, she attempts to nail him in the gut with a simple straight kick, then warp above him and deliver a rapid-fire series of punches straight down into the ground. "I want a fight, not a beatdown!"

Jam's body is ravaged by explosions, tearing up her clothes and even blasting away a bit of flesh. She doesn't seem bothered at all, though, and instead opts to dash backwards while throwing a flurry of fireballs.

"You're talking like I didn't beat you last time~."

The delay caused by the time it takes for Callis to rocket back to where she was before getting launched gives Oca time to react. He backs up, causing Callis's kick to miss by mere inches. Her subsequent punches hit for the most part, but he powers through and tries to grab one of her legs before judo-throwing her to the ground.

"Eh. I found the big lug. Least I can do is see what happens now."

Hub Centralis

A certain silver-haired speedster notices the ruckus going on within Cafe Leblanc. He heads inside to get a better look and, upon noticing that Ain was present, stares at her with a look of complete and utter bewilderment.

"Wait a minute... is that really you, Ain? You're not Loki in disguise or some weird hallucination I'm having right now?" Pietro asks.

Edelgard begins to say something, but thinks better of it. She switches her topic.

"No, no, that is not what I mean either. I simply mean that there are many people here who may or may not pose a danger to you if you choose to stay. As with any place, or any group of people, immediate reactions to you may vary. I, for instance, find you quite puzzling."

Pyra nods. "Sure, sit wherever you like... as long as it's not in my lap. I don't think I'd enjoy that."

She takes a sip of her tea. "The weather is nice today. Then again... I haven't seen it be anything but nice so far. Does it ever change?"

... Haha, I don't think I'd sit there! Max sits down, somewhat awkwardly thinking Pyra's trying to hit on her with the comments. She goes glances at her legs, as discreetly as she can, and then back at her own.

Y-yeah, it's nice. The original place was too... snowy, too cold, I kind of disliked it. But here? It's cool. It's almost like home but without the sand or cars.

She drinks from the Nuka Cola. B-but we used a... device, well "we", my ancestors... no, huh, not my ancestors because my parents's ancestors were away, but older generations had a thingy called a GECK? Itstandsofrgardenofheavencreationkit and it was able to make a proper oasis out of the nuclear desert. It's a very neat device. There was a tribal who looked all over the place for one and he apparently saved the world in the meanwhile?

But I wouldn't know, it all happened while I was a glint in my dad's eyes. H-he hadn't even met Mom, so how would I have memories from that period? ha... The private lays her elbow on the table and scratch her chin with her right hand.

"What was that about a nuclear desert?"

Hahaha, didn't I tell you? No? Maybe you... forgot? I can't blame you, I certainly do not look like I'm from a post nuclear desert, haha! She giggles awkwardly, briefly stops, and wonder if Pyra truly didn't care that much before moving on.

Well more than 200 years ago, America and China blew themselves up with the world. But humans are tough to kill! So we repopulated the husk of America. It was easy in the case of my... I mean, the ancestors of the people who founded my nation, the NCR. They lived in Vaults. Vaults were allegedly made to survive the War, and they had a GECK to rebuild once it was all-clear.

The NCR came out of Vault 15. Huh, it was a small village at first but now it's a sprawling nation. We used to be threatened by some... Khans because my town was a small sandy settlement, but now the Core Regions are very safe and the Khans are apparently dying off East?

Either way, I never really saw the world outside of the capital, Shady Sands. We got trees and cars. Also roads, water, grass, even cinema...

Vs. Arsenal Bird

Gallikrex twisted through the air in a shroud of frozen shards and leaping sparks, granted him some small measure of damage reduction against the drone-missiles as he closed in on the Arsenal Bird. His eyes darted between the missile, the drones, the propellers, and the others...

A precarious balance indeed. He wove a twinned spell-sigil, and cast a copy of his Inclement Barrier to those seeking to tank the hit, granting them a further measure of damage mitigation.

   "Any idea how long until that big gun is all spun up?"   

Vague Reprium

Ralf swats a few away, being hit and noticeably hurt by the fireballs. He rushes back in, aiming to do a spinning backhand, followed up by an explosive uppercut!

Arsenal Bird

Luffy's vision shows him that those trying to tank the Helios missile... will be hurt, but not killed. They'll be safe without him.

A few drones start going haywire, shooting randomly and flying in uncontrolled directions, some falling out of the air entirely and becoming sitting ducks for the projectiles from the Tormentor. -4

The drones struck by punches fall (-2), while those targeted by Love Beams manage to graze past them and retaliate with their machine guns.

One drone is blown down by Sonic Boom. -1
A few others fire back on Loli's dragonfly with homing missiles - Double Team won't be enough, active evasion is necessary.

Zoro cuts through a few planes, which explode a few seconds later all anime-style. -3
Sanji simply punches (or rather, kicks) holes in some more. -2
However, both of them are assaulted with machine guns and homing missiles from more drones!

Unfortunately, this time, 3-13's arrows fall short, missing their targets. The drones, however, break away from the engagement to attack the others, leaving him and Jill safe for now.

Ruby answers Gallikrex, "Between warming up the railgun, disabling all the other guns, and waiting for an opening that won't catch us all in the crossfire... It's safe to say we've still got a while to go."

Something on the Arsenal Bird flashes...

"Helios Missile impact in five. Four. Three. Two. One!"

A gigantic blue sphere of light engulfs Flynn and Susana. Between Flynn and Gallikrex's buffs and Susana's barrier, they'll survive... but they're also going to take a heavy amount of unavoidable damage.

Electricity crackles over the Arsenal Bird's center...

"The APS is warming up again! Susana, are you alright?!"

X nods to B-Zoner. "In that case, we'll head straight for the outer deck, where it can do the least damage if it suddenly goes crazy."

Once topside, they are greeted by none other than Samus in her Power Suit. She says nothing, merely sizing up the E.M.M.I..

Oh hey I know this chick! I was supposed to kill her at one point!

Samus and X immediately raise their arm cannons. The E.M.M.I. responds with an indignant-sounding rhythm of beeps.

I said 'was!' Honestly, the nerve of you! I must've been reprogrammed or something at some point, because I'm a free agent now.

"Isn't that convenient," mutters Samus.

Once the E.M.M.I. explains how it 'woke up' to Samus just as it had to B-Zoner, she lowers her arm cannon. "It sounds like the source of your tampering was the Seekers of Darkness. Specifically, the Rogue, one of their members. He has a supernatural talent for tampering with electronics, and you're not the first killing machine he's modified and set loose."

She turns to B-Zoner. "If you wanna know more, there's a digital dossier in the computer room."

Callis vs. Oca

Callis gets caught and slammed down. As she hits the ground, though, she grins, before vanishing behind Oca. Rather than immediately attack, she braces herself, anticipating Oca's next move.

C'mon...

Leblanc

"What's so unbelievable, Pietro? I'm an interstellar policewoman. My job takes me out of the Arena, sometimes for long stretches. There's not much else to it."

Ain turns to Aokiji. "Get yourself some curry. It's good stuff."

She then turns back to Pietro. "Besides. Forces like Set would no doubt go out of their way to kill me, or exploit my appearance with infiltrators. You know what happened with Cinke. With them out of the way, I can come back without risking your lives as collateral."

Reprium

Jam crosses her arms and blocks Ralf's attacks again, pushing her back. She leaps into the air and attempts to do a FOOT DIVE, bouncing back into the air on hit or block and slinging a follow-up fireball.

! Zoro armor it up and begins deflecting the bullets and missiles. Seeing him, Sanji likewise begins deflecting it all, but the former, for once in their rivalry, is starting to come up short, not being used to aerial fighting. He begins accumulating damage...

Until Luffy burst in and throws a punch, his arm stretching out to curve in mid-air and hit multiple jets at once until they blow up.

LEAVE HIM ALONE, DAMN IT!

Heh, thanks Luffy! But I can manage! Zoro spins his swords and attempts to engulf the remaining planes on his side with a Tatsumaki tornado. Sanji then attempts to kick through the tornado and destroy the jets.

Aokiji sit down and order curry, he has to crouch, where many sit, but he doesn't seem to mind.

Hm, the ceiling... does come up short.

He realizes he's made a pun, and slowly shake his head at the others, telling them not to risk it.

"It's just... it's been a really long time since I last saw any of the Sisters around here. I thought maybe something terrible might've happened, like you pissed off sone higher cosmic force or Polyphemus managed to get his hands on you... God, I've never been so happy to be wrong."

Pietro walks up to Ain and places a hand on her shoulder, offering her a wide grin.

"I missed you, Ain. We all did. I-It's really freaking great to have you back," he says.

Vs. Arsenal Bird

Susana survived the explosion... But she feels dizzy, and begins to fall!

Loli! Agility!

The dragonfly successfully avoids some missiles... But other ones hits them, and Loli with its riders begins to fall!

From the Junior Express, a voice can be heard: Gotcha!

Its energy ribbon catches Susana (and Flynn, if he's very hurt too) and lets them inside of the monorrail, to receive healing food done by the Five-star chef Arnoldo.

...

Meanwhile, Tatiana flies quickly to catch the riders and their dragonfly, and carries them to the Junior Express.

Please, Captain. Heal them too!

Roger, Tatiana! Rulos! Take them to the dinner wagon!

...

Paty resists the machine gun shots, and retails the drones firing stronger qnd quicker, but smaller Love Beams, shaped like small pink hearts.

When Callis disappears, he immediately goes on high-alert, his aura flaring with the power of the Kaioken.

"SUPER EXPLOSIVE WAVE!"

His aura expands unstably for a moment, before erupting into an omnidirectional conflagration of shining blue light!

JUICE probes the Arsenal Bird for systemic weaknesses. Can he shut off the engines or something...?

B-Zoner smirks.

He salutes Samus and goes off to leave the scene.

Versus Arsenal bird

Flynn takes the hit with his buffs,surviving the attack, his demon barely managing to do so as well. He takes the time to cast mediarama, trying to heal everyone, although he's going to be running out of spells soon. He avoids the ribbon, still being in the fight. He quickly simply yells, and codecs at the same time "I'm not going to be able to cast much more without taking time to recover. Keep those drones off me, if you can."

The tormentor, in the meanwhile, fires some shots at the arsenal bird, trying to simply harass it, or possibly draw the attention of the drones, as it zips by. As maya fires the guns, Apollo manifests on top of the tormentor as Tatsuya prepares to cast a spell as soon as they can get as many drones as possible in the area of effect, as he broadcasts "This is Apollo, Watch out for friendly fire from me, things are about to get dangerous."

As the spell is prepared, a Geiger counter in the tormentor begins clicking.
