Amalthus simply nods back, and goes along his way.

Sporacles and Majima end up getting to land before her. Oh well. She figured that the iceberg was not the fastest means anyways. The safest? Yes. The other options were prone to sudden failures and destructive magical outbursts.

She does not land so much as she CRASHES ONTO LAND AT HIGH SPEEDS, which wrecks the iceberg and she lands on her feet after being thrown from it. After healing herself, she looks at the other two. No, she did not hit anyone else with the speeding iceberg.

"Huh, I guess swimming is faster."

She chuckles, finding this funny.

Sporacles wins. All is right with the world.

"Hup!" He says, hopping onto shore. "Let's go to McDonalds!"

He leads the way.

"Of course. I swim all the time. I don't think 'iceberging' is a standard recreational activity."

The Ocean, Bionicle Universe

A Dark Hunter finally emerges from the water with a gasp. He had tried to surface a few times already, but the raging currents made it nigh impossible. Luckily the boat is nearby, because he feels like he would drown if he stays out here for too much longer.

He swims back towards the boat with all of his might, latching onto it once he reaches it and taking a moment to breathe. He looks up when a shadow is cast over him, courtesy of Lariska◊, who is standing so far over the edge that it's a miracle she's balanced enough to not fall overboard.

"And?", she casually asks as if her colleague hasn't been swimming for his life.

"We did it.", the Dark Hunter says, raising one hand that now holds the mask they'd been trying to find. "It was tough to get a hold of. Everyone who went down there with me perished."

Lariska takes the mask out of his hand, now stepping back a little as she looks it over. It's covered in moss and has some slight cracks in it, but they're not so severe that the mask is too damaged to function.

"Why is it damaged?", she asks.

"We found him mostly buried under a pile of rubble.", the Dark Hunter says as he now tries to climb on board.

"That explains why he didn't at least attempt to escape even though he couldn't breathe air anymore. He must've been caught by surprise by some earthquakes when Mata Nui died and gotten himself crushed without seeing the rocks coming. What a pathetic end for a former Order agent.", Lariska says, then glancing back at the Dark Hunter... who she promptly places her foot against before pushing him back overboard.

"W-what are you doing!?", the Dark Hunter yells once he has his head back above water.

"You'll tip the boat with your weight if you get back on.", she offhandedly says.

"But I can't make it back to shore like this! I'll drown!"

Lariska doesn't respond, as if it's not even worthy of one. Instead, she turns towards the other hunters still on the boat and points towards a faraway beach. Without hesitation, the Dark Hunters leave the one in the water to his fate as they go back towards land.

"The idiot didn't even notice he was mutated. The mutagen would've killed him before we got to shore anyway.", she thinks, then grins as she looks the mask over.

"Got the mask in record time, and we still have a good few surviving members left. The Shadowed One will be pleased."

Hub Centralis, some time before the mask's retrieval.

Botar, unusually on edge, is walking around the town with Ninten◊ and Pilly◊, who are mainly just talking to each other, but occasionally glance back at Botar as well, with him either not noticing or not caring.

"He's really on edge 'cause of what happened, huh?", Ninten mutters.

"I wasn't even there and even I'm feeling awful.", Pilly mutters back. "I can't believe Hub would do that."

"We'll have to face it.", Ninten says, shaking his head sadly. "Unless we get a new Light Chip and get rid of Mara, there's nothing we can do in this regard. We should probably keep doing what we have been doing and look around for Pietro and Wanda. I hope they've found the one they talked about already."

Border of Hub Centralis

Not too far off from this group, but not close by enough to be immediately noticed, Seras returns, carrying her Ouija board underneath her arm. She'd have gotten back faster if she'd moved through the air on her return trip as well, but it's not the newest of board, and the speed at which she travels could have damaged it, so she had no choice but to walk back.

Shores of astil

Briya follows Sporacles and guesses that she's on the main arena land? Ignoring the now melting wrecked iceberg.

"My map is not updating, and I think it's time for me to fix it. Again. Knowing the arena, we are probably pretty close to the central area... yes Astil sounds about right."

She stores her big guns in her bag which slide in easily before closing on it's own. Somehow the bag can hold those without issue. Though she did notice the guy who launched himself to shore from the middle of the ocean. Ignoring how he did it, she's not sure of why he's here as well.

"Yeah, this is Astil. The city is... another ocean away? We can take the bridge or just keep swimming. Once we make it to the side of Astil facing the city, of course."

He stretches.

"I've some water bottles in my inventory if anyone is tired after that. Swimming's pretty energy intensive."

"I can teleport and am only sticking with you out of courtesy," says Hero.

"I'll take a water." Majima reaches out to receive a wahtor.

"I can teleport, but it's going to take awhile to get there due to how... inaccurate it is. I will just teleport myself there."

She does in fact cast teleport and... is now 10 feet away from her first spot.

"Wrong version! Nevermind, I'm going to take the bridge there. I'm going to bet that the next long range teleport will send me to... anywhere but where I want to go."

Majima is granted WATER. Sporacles also chugs a bottle, gluglugluglug.

"If you could take us along, I'd be all for a teleport. The impromptu swimming contest is over now. It's quite the walk otherwise."

Majima stabs the water bottle and shotguns the whole thing.

"My teleportation is... also random, actually," admits Hero sheepishly.

The Maximoffs and Odinsons◊ are currently wandering through the city, discussing amongst themselves.

"Look, I'm not saying Pseudo has something unethical planned for Tahn. Okay? I just think it's a little weird that he's kept him locked in the base for so long and turned down Loki's idea," Pietro says.

"It didn't seem like he was lying to me when we discussed the matter. Either he was genuinely being honest or Pseudo has a greater talent for deception than I thought," Loki chimes in. "Nonetheless, perhaps Helryx might be more amenable to my proposal."

"Why the Hel would Pseudo want us kept in the dark? He has no reason to distrust any of us, nor would he ever consider doing anything sinister to Tahn," Thor says. "That said, I do think it's odd that he believes letting Majima watch over the boy would result in some kind of bloody catastrophe."

"The only way to know for certain would be to ask Pseudo himself, and he's not really in the mood to see anybody right now," Wanda says.

Botar turns to look instantly, his guard up. Ninten and Pilly look as well.

"Uh, hello mister.", Pilly happily says. Ninten is slightly wary, but not so much that he doesn't say hello.

"Hi there! Who are you?"

Botar just crosses his arms, remaining silent.

Seras had, naturally, picked up on Charlie's presence as she walked into town. However, neither she nor Pip could really feel any malice coming from her, and as such Seras didn't show that she knows as to not scare her off, figuring the kid is just curious.

She then spots Pietro, Wanda, Thor and Loki in the distance and immediately calls out to the former while approaching the group.

"Heyyyy! I got it!", she says as she approaches, holding the Ouija board out for them to see.

Hub Centralis

A black woman run up to the stranded lady. She has long shaggy blonde hair, thick sunglasses, a red beret and wearing a white collared shirt with rolled-up sleeves and a sleeve garter on her left arm. She also wears what happens to be a pre-war SWAT ballistic vest. She's also tall for a woman, about over 6 feet tall.

You look like shit. She says, stopping short of her.

Astil

"Looks like I'm the one doing the teleport I guess. I can aim it... to be within 5 mile of the Mc Donalds. Trust me, it could be MUCH worse. But the alternative is anywhere. And that's quite literal. Including other universes. This is less random."

After casting teleport a few times which only move her a few inches each time, she stands near Sporacles, Majima, and Hero.

"The landing won't hurt. I did account for that. But uh... you may end up landing awkwardly."

And she casts multiple spells. 5 orbs of various colors surround her each time she casts a spell... and then they teleport away.

In the Mc Donalds parking lot...

Briya has somehow landed on the roof of the Mc Donalds. All 4 of them are at their intended target location, and no one is in a dangerous position.

Majima has SOMEHOW been placed INSIDE a random unlocked car. Where did the car come from? And the car has a crate of tongs inside it.

Hero had somehow landed in the best position of everyone... except he hit a light pole face first and then was somehow pushed back to fall onto the ground. Good news, nothing hurts except for his pride.

And Sporacles? He uh... somehow is now soaking wet with a bunch of seaweed on top of his head. With a used jetpack behind him. And a jar of pickles that is unopened is in his hands.

"YES THAT WORKED! No one needs first aid!"

She's happy that this is the outcome.

Ris appeared, clad in her armor and wielding the Axe of the Dwarvish Lords with a great deal of confusion. This slowly faded as she processed that two of her three companions were present, in addition to... other folks.

"... Well, at least they've got some alcohol here, cuz' I think I'm gonna need it."

Her pack seemed... a lot fuller than it had been in the game. The stoney, scale-like plates sticking out suggested that what was responsible for all that bulk was nothign other than raw beholder hide, which... posed several further question.

Vs. Oca — Round 2!

Nyr tried to disperse the force of the impact across a larger area with the Red Storm, but his reflexes only moved so fast — and so, he went flying back as a painful cracking sound resounded through the forest. He managed to spread the Red Storm across his back, allowing him to disperse his impact with a massive tree over a much wider area, but that only helped so much.

Raising his metal had and gritting his teeth through the pain, he tried to get a read on Oca — and if he could, his plan was going to be to try and hit with a bolt of Red Storm lightning, which he intended to expand outwards into a cage. Granted, however, his aim was going to be very shakey right now.

"what?"

The girl looked at the woman who had just come up to her extremely quizzically, before deciding to go a bit friendlier

"Can you give me some directions? Just to the nearest payphone or something, I think I passed out!"

She seemed...overly excited. It seemed after initial sadness at missing the hug she decided to take the optimistic route

Unfortunately for you, I can't give any proper piece of information until I'm given money. It's a bit of a disease, ain't it? Hand it over.

She points a finger at the woman then at herself and back and forth for several seconds.

Oca is taking things seriously now, which is honestly pretty bad for Nyr. He might have been able to been gotten a read on, but Oca teleports behind Nyr and tries to straight cold-cock him with a tap to the head.

Sporacles stuffs the seaweed, pickles, and jetpack in his inventory. Waste not want not! Can probably craft something nifty with all that.

"Nice! We're here! McDonalds..."

He moves to enter McDonald.

Grumio, from eating at a table on his lunch break: "Aiyah! Sporacles, please dry off before coming in!"

Sporacles grumbles and raises his arms, allowing Grumio to waterbend the excess seawater off him before properly entering the restaurant.

"BEER," Thia succinctly bellows.

"Yes ma'am," mumbles Kirrey.

Hub Centralis Mickey D's

Majima has somehow ended up perfectly posed in the 'draw me like one of your french girls' meme across the back seats of the car into which he was teleported. By accident.

Hero does a speeeeeeeeeen as he tumbles off of the light pole.
