Enter The Arena As Your Avatar -- The Spinoff!

As the group reaches what appears to be a main hall, the Glass Maiden's damaged components emit an eerie whir that almost sounds like a banshee wail and all of its remaining tendrils are launched forward at once. They are no longer really trying to stab anyone with their attached syringes and scalpels, instead, they just flail erratically in an attempt to trip or lasso as many targets as they can in order to prevent them from escaping the collapsing temple that is about to become their collective grave.

Mmonic walks into the confrontation, slurping on some red liquid sealed away in a coca cola bottle. It's ethereal and kinda... moving. Plus it doesn't seems to be running out no matter how much she drinks it.

It's not that I do not appreciate random violence and confrontations but y'all are gonna wreck this place up ya know? There's a lot of big empty places for you to have your little catfight. But not this one. She smirks and tap a slot machine. Especially coz I'm gonna get a jackpot soon.

"Oh god what the hell!?", Viche yelps again as he now starts to blindly fire more Ki blasts at the scuttling child. They're not even fully aimed correctly as Viche is freaking out.

Courne starts to eat, looking more entertained than he's ever looked in the Arena before.

And then Horsea faints via Leech Seed.

"Oh no!", Cara says before returning Horsea to its ball. She then grabs another and brings forth her Pokemon.

"Go! Seadra!", she calls out, and one◊ appears.

"This Pokemon should be a bit tougher to take out. It only recently evolved, but it's already gotten used to its new form.", Cara says.

"Now, Seadra, Dragonbreath!"

Seadra spits out a wave of blue flames, attempting to hit Snorlax with them. If Dragonbreath hits, there's a chance that Snorlax will become paralyzed.

"I will gladly accept your compliment once we are out of danger.", Integra says, smirking a little.

Walter gets snagged by Pietro's Chaos Chain and pulled forward.

Once she notices the Maiden's last-ditch effort to trap them in here, Seras tries to shoot at the tendrils, but her shots don't do nearly enough to guarantee their safety.

In fact, one of the tendrils trips Integra up.

"Sir Integra!", Seras calls out, immediately stopping her running to grab her hand before she falls.

"Watch out!", Walter then calls (while still being dragged along) out as both some tendrils and debris are about to hit the two of them before they'll be able to move away...

Then...

A series of powerful gunshots can suddenly be heard, destroying the debris and making the pieces fall behind Seras and Integra, blocking the tendrils from getting to them. Seras, Walter and Integra are surprised and confused, looking towards the exit, only to be outright shocked when they see a very familiar person standing there, right at the exit of the building, holding the gun that those shots came from as he smiles mischievously.

   "Come on ladies, don't slow down now. Ve don't vant to get crushed, now do we?~"   

"Shrodinger!?", Walter asks.

"What is... how are you still...", Integra asks.

Seras snaps out of it before they do, and so she starts to run towards the exit, forcing Integra to run with her.

"No time to question this right now! We have to escape!"

ZJ expertly scuttles around the blasts, and screeches to a halt just a couple feet from Viche.

*WHRRRR*

The little monster looks up, opens its mouth, and - reveals a high-powered machine gun. Powered by his own ki, too, so the bullets should be launched with sufficient force to actually matter.

*RATTATATATATATATATATATATATATAT*

Snorlax shrugs off the Dragon Breath. It does more damage than the Twister, but it's still no Draco Meteor.

"SNOOOR"

It uses Curse again, changing its stats to +2 ATK, +2 DEF, and -2 SPE.

It looks down on the Seadra with a face that says 'mmm hungy'.

"Yeah, it's totally my fault, and the bratty little demon wannabe with a fat ego is completely innocent."

Having long since grown weary of the demon girl's attitude, Nicole transforms into her Draconic form and roars right in her goddamn face, then reverts back to normal and walks over to Roy and Trina.

"I just came here to play a fucking game, not deal with some bratty little demon bitch who makes Troa look humble."

   "Wait... aren't you that weird-ass cat guy Loki talked about?"   

Realizing he'd be better off asking questions once they were well and truly out of danger, Pietro hurls a couple of grenades back at the Maiden before dashing towards the exit alongside the others, presumably with Walter still in tow.

The girl smirks.

She turns into an actual fucking dragon, immediately destroying the arcade with her size and power, and roars powerfully enough to send Nicole flying.

   "I am D.Va the Destroyer, and you are being a LITTLE SALTY FUCKING NI-"   

Something boots her from reality before she can complete that statement. There isn't a moment of surprise, a portal that sucks her away, or anything appearing in her place. Just like one of those memes where the guy screams and instantly vanishes.

"... what the SHI-"

Cue Viche getting pelted by Ki-bullets, raising his arms in front of his face as he backs off.

"What-OW-kind of-OW-child is-OW-this!?"

Seadra looks comically alarmed by this.

"Seadra, Attract!"

Seadra does a beautiful pose as Attract activates. If Snorlax looks at it and it's the opposite gender, it will be effective and potentially stop it from attacking.

The Seadra's gender is female.

Both Roy and Trina are sent flying, ending up in some debris. Trina immediately gets back up though, a deadly look in her eyes as she leaps back towards the girl, fully intent to just kill without question...

And then the girl disappears, meaning that Trina ends up face-first on the ground.

"God fucking damnit.", she grumbles as she gets back up.

Roy, meanwhile, gets up at around the same time.

It's not your fault, sure. It's pretty telling that you think I'm accusing ya though. But what can I say, ya didn't quite keep the peace either.

DVA happens but Mmonic remains relatively unfazed, instead spreading her arms and watching debris falls all around her. Yeah those people are best ignored. They crave that kinda attention. It's kinda sad.

But ya know the saddest thing? Slot machine's broken.

"What she said," says Jotaro, walking in.

Invisible forces move around, and after a moment, the arcade is repaired again in a burst of sparkles. Jolyne walks in behind him.

"I took Jolyne out to get some sunshine and play a bit."

"Despite my protests," she mutters.

"That thing really was some kinda god - but, well, y'know toxic gamers? That kinda stuff corrupted her into the biggest. You should really know better than to keep trying to provoke someone like that, because she wins if you fight back."

ZJ's eyebrows cross, and he jams his tail into the ground to siphon energy from the Earth itself. The onslaught stops for a moment before restarting with renewed piercing power!

Snorlax is indeed male, and is Attracted.

"snor?"

"Good move!"

However, Snorlax powers through its infatuation and unleashes an earth-shaking Return attack.

"SNOOOR!"

Drawing Olympus' Wrath, Nicole quickly stabs it into the ground to keep from being hurled back. Before she can retaliate, however, the object of her ire suddenly vanishes into thin air.

"Thanks for the late-ass help, whoever or whatever did that. Would've been really fucking helpful if you'd made her disappear sooner..."

She pulls her Zeus-forged sword out of the ground and returns it to its sheathe.

"Yeah, the bitch started it and ruined my game when I was in the middle of a boss fight. Hope she runs into that god butcher dude I heard Thor and Loki talk about."

Walking over to the nearest table, she plops down in one of the chairs.

"God, I could use a friggin' drink after that."

Argalia tilts his head, before returning to his food.

She jam her thumb at Jotaro when he mentions his opinions.

Oh they always "started it". It's how they do it, see? They want ya to be angry so they give you good reasons, in your mind, to strike back. It's a vicious circle, I tell ya.

When Nicole mentions a drink, Mmonic raise her non-existent right eyebrow, and a few energy sparks appears around a bottle of beer before it's flung at Nicole. At her. It won't stop and will crash on her face. But she has a warning of about 3 seconds before it flies off.

But really, it's a sucker's game. Don't make people angry because you're a bitch. Make people angry because you're awesome and they know it.

The shots impact the Glass Maiden squarely in its "maw", and causes it to stagger. Though it's not destroyed, the momentary flinch is enough. Its own trail of destruction finally catches up with it, and with a last whirring scream, the Maiden is buried under a pile of rubble. Its countless tongues lash out one final time, but are themselves crushed beneath debris before they can reach anyone, leaving the way out clear for just a few seconds for everyone to escape before the whole structure is reduced to rubble until the next scenery reset.

"Gee, thanks.", Viche snarks as he gets struck by more Ki bullets.

"Alright, enough of this!", he yells, suddenly flying forward, not caring about the bullets, and attempting to send ZJ flying all the way across the battlefield with a punch to the face.

Return hits and does enough damage to take Seadra out five times over.

"Holy...", Cara mutters as she recalls Seadra.

"I, uh... I think I've lost. My only other Pokemon is another Horsea, and Gorochu doesn't want to fight."

Trina glances at Jotaro and Jolyne.

"If she's so dangerous then don't let her come here, you idiots.", she growls as she walks past them, walking back to Roy.

"She, uh, she didn't mean to insult you. She's just a bit on edge.", he says, trying to not make another argument happen.

"I most certainly d-"

"-Didn't mean it."

She rolls her eyes, dropping the subject. She then looks at Nicole.

"What kind of drink?", she asks, looking a little intrigued. She then sees the magnificent flying beer bottle and waits to see if Nicole will catch it.

"This is our chance!", Walter yells a second or so before Pietro inevitably passes by Shrodinger, after which Walter gets pulled past him as well.

Integra, while not liking Shrodinger's presence one bit, doesn't do anything now and just passes by him. She'd take care of him outside.

When Seras also runs past him, time seems to slow down for her as she looks at Shrodinger, noticing something with her vampiric third eye that definitely isn't right. She notices the gun Shrodinger is holding. It's a Hellsing Arms .454 Casull... Alucard's gun.

She then looks up at Shrodinger's face as he fires another shot inside the laboratory, after which his head turns to look at Seras with a sly smirk... and then he winks at her knowingly.

Seras' eyes widen. Could this be...

Time feels back to normal for Seras as she continues to run. Shrodinger stays behind as the rest of the group make it outside before everything collapses, with Seras having to grab Integra and leap out to make it out alive.

Once they're all outside, they take some deep breaths to calm down.

ZJ takes the blow head-on, and squeals in 'owchies'. The blow would be enough to send him flying - however, he attempts to latch on to Viche's arm just as it lands. If he lands the grab, he should be able to hold on despite the force.

? "... Okay."

Red recalls Snorlax. He seems surprised that she challenged him without a full team.

"You did pretty good! If you keep training, I'm sure you'll become an Ace!"

ZJ holds in indeed, but Viche acts immediately, a dangerous glint appearing in his eyes as he suddenly, and mercilessly, holds his hand to ZJ's face and unleashes a storm of powerful Ki Blasts.

Viche, as annoying as he is, had figured that killing some random toddler would be going too far and had thus planned to hold back a little. Now though, he's out for blood.

"Thanks. Maybe if I find a scale to evolve Seadra with.", she chuckles sheepishly. She then takes out her wallet and holds out the money she owes Red for losing the match.

"Even if I lost... really badly... I'm still glad and grateful you accepted my challenge. Now I know how much stronger you are than me, and that I still have a long way to go."

She then looks more determined.

"But rest assured, next time we battle, I'll be a lot stronger. That's a promise."

Now that they'd finally managed to escape the collapsing lab after what felt like ages, Pietro drops out of his Chaos Form and sits down on the ground, taking some much-needed time to catch his breath. After checking to make sure that the book they'd stolen was still intact, he fixes his gaze on Seras and the others.

"Okay... now I remember that guy. He's the one from Millennium who apparently brought down Alucard. I swear to god, if he saved us just so he could finish us off with Alucard's own guns, I'm gonna find out if this book is any good for smacking bad cats."

Nicole instinctively catches the oncoming beer bottle and cracks cracks it open.

"Here's a little hint: it's the type kids shouldn't be chugging."

She takes a lengthy sip of her newly-acquired drink.

"Nice speech, mysterious hipster girl. Maybe you oughta think about hosting your own talk show like Dr. Phil or something."

ZJ's face is seared off. This... isn't either new, or irreparable. That tends to happen in his fights.

   "BWAGWAGH! MEAT!"   

The face revealed is something akin to a baby Terminator. ZJ proceeds to unhinge his jaws, charge his 'teeth' with enough ki to shine, and chomp down.

He considers trying to refuse the money from a friendly match, but that's never worked before and it probably won't now.

Red grins.

"Awesome. If you want any advice... if you want to get strong, seek out professors and people who know about how Pokémon work. A lot of people think that sheer training is enough, and it can get you far, but you want to also train RIGHT."

No, that's boring. I'm not a doctor, I'd rather send my enemies to see them.

She snorts. Re-using that one any chance I get.

Despite having been the one to have done it, Viche is still taken aback when he sees the results of his actions. Enough so that he ends up getting chomped on his arm and yelps.

"GET THIS DEMON BABY OFF OF ME!", he shrieks, causing Courne to start laughing, even almost choking on his food.

"Ah, I do know a former Gym Leader. Maybe he can give me some tips.", Cara says.

Gorochu now walks up to her, pulling on her sleeve. She looks down at him and giggles.

"I think someone's getting hungry. We should probably be going."

"Ah. Shame.", Trina says, surprisingly quickly agreeing to keep her hands off of booze. She looks back at Jotaro.

"She's not? ... eh."

Now looking bored, she walks back over to Roy.

"We should leave and continue on."

"Maybe so...", Roy agrees.

Pietro won't find anything to look at though. The entrance has collapsed and Shrodinger is gone.

"I swear, thirty years and somehow that little runt came back?", Integra mutters as she gets back up. Walter gets up as well, though remains silent, seeing Seras stare intently at the entrance.

"Seras? ... hey, police girl.", he calls out to her, with Seras eventually snapping out of it and turning to everyone.

"Oh, sorry, I was deep in thought."

"Hopefully about how to hunt down and exterminate that rat once and for all.", Integra says as she can finally light up a cigar.

"No, I... I just... it's weird, I..."

She pauses, glancing back at it.

"... no, maybe I'm just delirious from that whole thing just now.", she says. "I... I don't know how Shrodinger survived, but once we're done with business at home, I'll go after him."

Integra nods, then notices Walter glancing at her. Once she looks back, Walter quickly looks away again.

Edge of Hub Centralis

Seto Kaiba and his younger brother, Mokuba◊, are walking alongside the edge of the Hub Centralis, looking out over the sea.

"This place is actually kinda pretty, isn't it, bro?", Mokuba happily asks. Seto Kaiba looks as stone-faced as ever, but he does entertain his little brother a little more.

"I guess it has a sort of charm to it for townsfolk."

"You probably prefer a view over massive towers owned by Kaibacorp, don't you?", Mokuba smirks, causing Kaiba to sport a small smirk as well.

Jotaro folds his arms.

"Well, anyone wanna play one of those co-op shooters?" Jolyne asks.

As Kaiba is enjoying his peaceful and Exodia-free day, he may notice a red light streaking through the sky.

In broad daylight...?

And then it arcs around, and he will immediately realize it is not a shooting star.

Crimson Glow Valstrax

Ambush

Silver-Winged Scarlet Star / Valstrax ~ RISE Ver.

A literal azure-eyed silver dragon◊ comes hurtling towards him lightning fast, surrounded in a red aura. He'll have to make a dive for cover if he wants to survive!

"Your loss, dude. Maybe you've could've made a fortune off that idea."

Nicole drains the remainder of her beer in a single gulp before throwing away the bottle. She glances at Roy and Trina.

"You sure you two don't wanna stick around? The demon bitch probably ain't gonna show her face here again."

Then she rises from her chair and approaches Jolyne.

"Count me in, Jo. You wanna play Jurassic Park or maybe something else?"

After a few moments, Pietro hauls himself to his feet.

"Alright... now that we've finally made it out of that freaking nightmare factory, I bringing this to Fu once we're all rested up," he says, holding the book up for everyone to see. "If anyone can translate all this gibberish and work out whoever's on the contacts list, I'll bet you anything it's him. And if we're really lucky, he might even find out if there's a way to onto Polyphemus' big-ass pyramid ship."

He walks over to Seras and places a hand on her shoulder.

"Just say the word, police girl, and I'll be ready to help you track him down."
