Samsara shrugs. I wish we could offer you better solutions, but you seems to be pretty well off there. Would you mind... a few more days perhaps?

It's OK. We'll return to the fort to think about another plan.

Raising an eyebrow when Iris asks if Amaterasu was the one who invented hot dogs, Thor listens to the latter's story in its entirety before replying.

"Well... know that you have my utmost gratitude for bringing someone as wonderful as Iris into my life, Amaterasu," he says. "Even if she doesn't harbor any romantic feelings for me, I'm nonetheless honored to count her among the closest friends I've made here."

"So you are the reason why hot dogs exist Thor and I met?", Iris asks, shocked. Then smiling.

"I don't know how to thank-", she says, approaching for a hug, only for her to yelp and back off because... well, sun-heat.

W-well we kinda are. She points out. But good mindset! Thank you for being understanding.

Amaterasu bows her head to Thor and lowers the heat to more of a toasty warm, like sitting next to a fireplace, so Iris can hug her.

"You're welcome. If you wish to be in private, though, I shall take my leave shortly," she says. "I've been keeping an eye on the very situation you just came from, and this 'Orochi' may require my intervention."

Thor reaches out to scratch Amaterasu behind the ears, if she'll allow it.

"Oh, I'm fine with you staying for as long as you desire, my friend," he assures. "And while I can't speak for her personally, I imagine Iris probably feels the same way."

Iris now proceeds to give her a quick hug.

"Yeah, of course you can stay!", she happily says, after which she stops hugging.

"As long as you think that this 'Oar-ochy' isn't so big of a threat that it requires your presence of course.", she says, still smiling.

As she receives the pets and scritches, Ammy comments, "My nemesis in my own world was also an Orochi. That is why I was worried."

She then lies down. "But I suppose there's nothing to be worried about with the Saiyans on hand."

Ben's flurry of blows were blocked by the Centurion, the non-force-sensitive managing to keep up with the Jedi's flurry of blows. Ben's blur of blue and yellow had a tinge of red as the pair engaged in a fierce duel, but once Skippy had entered the fray, the Centurion was overwhelmed.

The Imperial's armor held up against a few saber strikes, but blow after blow eventually managed to take the Centurion down. Joshua had incredible success with the HK droid, his armor tanking blaster shot after blaster shot.

Eventually, the spartan found his mark, blasting the droid into naught but scrap. Joshua turned to the two Jedi,

"I think I can keep going, my armor will keep my leg in good enough shape until this is over."

His words were pained, but he was certainly determined to keep moving. He started to walk further down the hall, limping just a bit. Once the trio had ended up at the end of the hall, there was an elevator waiting for them.

It opened to reveal no one else inside, the Spartan stepping within the large elevator and looking at the very long list of floors.

"I know you Jedi have some sixth sense, any particular floor you like over the others?"

With everyone ducking behind cover with the exception of Warrick and the clone commandos, all fire focuses on them. The clones take countless hits, managing to continue forward with heavy damage to their armor. The four dive behind a few fallen war droids toward the front line, taking out nearby infantry with ease before settling down.

Although they, along with all the others hiding within cover wouldn't have any time to breathe. The commandos looked up to see two Centurions above them, lightsaber pikes ignited. Sovereign pulls his vibroknife from his chest, managing to deflect away from one of the first strikes toward him with relative ease.

The other three rolled away, unleashing a torrent of blaster fire that drove the two back enough to give them a moment to reload.

From above Medic, a Centurion dropped, attempting to swiftly dispatch of the german before he could ever see it coming.

Lambert and Lacia found themselves beset upon by a trio of Centurions, each attempting to quickly close the gap and dispatch of the angel first, seeing as Lucia was injured. Regardless of their success, they'd immediately move on to Lambert, rushing him with a flurry of blows.

Lucia directly tap into her virtues and accept the potion.

WITH HASTE! DUCK! BUT NOT THE BIRD!!!

To perhaps the surprise of the centurion, she immediately come online, healing her wounds and flipping on her feet before spinning around to shoot fire out of her the tip of her feet, actually doing some shockingly complex breakdancing moves with her flames!

KOF Tournament Finals - Orochi Strikes!

Orochi's eyes widen as he sees who the Saiyans were fighting - thos who once stood with him.

A solitary whisper.

"They are not with you, they are with the humans. Strike them down."

Orochi roars, firing a conic beam of light at everyone who was fighting in the finals, but it gets sliced in half and redirected by a gust of wind.

Goenitz: "I hope I wasn't too late."

Chris: "Goenitz!"

Yashiro: "Always know just when to show up, huh?"

Goenitz: "I had a very interesting conversation with a curious young lady... And she, along with an odd friend of hers, brought me up to speed on what is afflicting the one we call Lord."

Orochi:    "No more from you, human. Despair."   

Orochi sends out waves of light all over, including into the stands...

Chizuru brings up the Yata Mirror, with Kyo, Iori, and Asterius behind it; Theseus hides nearby, behind his own impenetrable shield.

Theseus: "A god gone mad... what is the meaning of this!"

Chizuru: "Not now, warrior. For now, we focus.

Theseus nods, guiding whoever he can to behind the Yata Mirror; he saves at least a few people.

X creates a barrier of Tetris Magic, Rosy reluctantly hiding behind him, as well as Tager and Undyne.

Tager: "Under normal circumstances, I wouldn't work with you. But this is a special case..."

X:    "Desperate times call for desperate measures. The guy he's under, "The Creator", sounds oddly familiar. I wonder why."   

Vegeta holds out a barrier of Ki, with the Sky Noah crew and guests inside of it.

Adel: "This is what we've prepared for."

Christopher: "Now more than ever... We just need an opening."

The Hee-Ho Revolution Team are stunned, but are saved last second by... another Ki barrier?

"I made it as fast as I could. I won't stand for evil to hurt anyone else!"

Black Frost casts Matarukaja on the newcomer, his strength boosting.

???: "Hmm. Thank you."

The Saiyans do not hide behind a barrier, instead powering up to Super Saiyan 2 each and crossing their arms. They're engulfed by light, as a result, but having the time to build up ki means that they end up looking... fairly damaged, for sure, but were able to summon enough power to match their higher forms, if briefly.

Alright, let's go!

They roar, their auras flaring out, and all three Saiyans dash together. One could see it as teamwork, but actually, each is just trying to hit Orochi first, be it with a punch or with a kick. After the first move, which triggers a mighty shockwave on impact, each follows up with a series of potent punches and kicks!

Restaurant

Well, if you are feeling captured, that's not our intention. We only want to be your friends, or maybe only trust us.

With the Centurion taken care of, Skippy's lightsaber deactivates and the hilt flies to its side. It wheels along after Joshua.

{droidspeak:"... The tenth floor. There's something amiss, but that is where our target is."}

"Indeed. Considering how powerful most of the people there were, I suspect they'll be able to stop this Orochi before he can wreak any significant havoc."

Thor sits down beside Amaterasu and motions for Iris to join him.

Breathing heavily after the Centurion falls, Ben deactivates both lightsabers and hooks them to his belt. Once he's had enough time to rest, he follows Joshua into the elevator and tosses a medpack to the Spartan.

"Just give me a moment..."

He reaches out with the Force.

"He's on the... tenth floor. I should warn you, however, that there was also a significant dark side presence there. Not as powerful as Laxin, but we ought to proceed with caution."

"Yeah, they're pretty strong. I lost against them."

She ponders as she sits down.

"... y'think Orochi will kill that girl?", she mutters with a small smirk, referring to Zelerie.

Sephiroth parries the light with a Scintilla barrier and flies towards Orochi, delivering a fierce Octaslash.    "You are the one who will taste despair."   

Shaq just raises his guard, then throws a Shaq-uriken at Orochi.

The Heroes of Beneril suddenly rush in, aiming their weapons at Orochi while approaching from different directions. They don't attack yet, though - gotta make sure he isn't flying first.

"Of course you're not trapped. The door's right there." Tenshu points to it with his thumb.

Would you like me to hold your hand? offers Kuro, seemingly totally innocently, without a hint of sarcasm.

Warrick is doing his best to dodge, until he sees Medic in trouble.

"Kriff, it's all falling apart now!" He rockets towards Medic, aiming to nail the Centurion in the head with a flying kick.

"I haff been studying zhe wrong profession!" remarks Medic as he dives for safety.

After the Elevator

The elevator doors open.

There, a little ways down the hall, in a cell of energy walls, sits the Jedi Raeii◊.

And in front of him stands the Sith who told them about this, Jobak.◊

He sees Ben and Joshua and immediately turns to face them.    "Well, this is a bit of an... awkward situation. You see, I happened to be put on guard duty. And I can't exactly let you just take this very important prisoner - even if I asked you to - without a fight. So..."   

• Prepare yourselves.
• Prepare to die.

He draws his lightsabers.    "Get ready - this time I'll make it look serious."   

Dark Side Tempest (Mantle That Conceals the Light ~ Gore Magala / Brutish Indigo ~ Brachydios)

He turns into a blur with glowing eyes and dashes right past Skippy and Ben, aiming to punt Joshua over with a simple stomp kick, then turns around and unleashes an instant burst of Force Lightning at both of the Jedi.

"I think it's unlikely that anyone is going to die there," remarks Amaterasu.

her vectors popped out again, this time seeming to form a sort of barrier around her

Before Lucy can blink after finishing that sentence, she's suddenly outside the restaurant, and the door slams itself shut.

She will get the sense that she didn't escape so much as she was kicked out.

Onyxis - Imperial Outpost

Lambert nods as Lucia returns the favor by engaging the Centurions head-on, giving him some breathing room. He teleports away again before they can turn their attention to him, this time to a section of the battlefield littered with nothing but dead or unconscious imperial troopers.

From his bandolier, he takes out two items - a circular stone tablet marked with symbols and a marble with a tiny tadpole inside. He throws the latter down first, and as the marble bursts with water the tadpole grows into a giant frog and comes to life.

"Zuro Roggo, defend me while I make the preparations!" The frog obliges and begins singing, while Lambert puts down the tablet more carefully and it similarly grows, 'dissolving' into the ground below them so that a larger circle is marked about a dozen meters wide around them. Anyone who gets too close to the toadsong besides Lambert himself will turn into a toad after a couple of seconds, while Lambert hides behind him. He closes his eye and concentrates, actually having to channel a spell for once as he weaves hand signs and mutters under his breath. Dark red energy begins to swirl around him, and also every corpse within reach...

Lambert's Buffs: Thermal Vision, Third Eye, Metatron, ???

Tournament of Power Arena

Aleifr puts down his drink as Orochi show he's not going to limit himself to the current contestants. "Alright, I guess I'll have to get off my ass after all." He stands up and dashes to the front of the stands, putting up a magical screen over his section. Unlike the others, however, he's not so much blocking the light as he is absorbing it. Even with his affinity, it still damages him quite a bit, as his arms and chest get burned. More alarmingly, however, his hair and skin gradually turn porcelain white as the maneuver disrupts his internal elemental balance.

"Too much... and yet at the same time...    not enough..."    Aleifr drops to one knee as white crystals grow on his shoulders and back, touching one of his burns, then disappears from view.

In between all the flashy, hard-hitting attacks Orochi is facing, the dworc flies with his jet boots while he's invisible and tries to sneak up behind him to... poke him. He would try to maintain physical contact, and while Thor isn't currently here to witness it, this is the same maneuver he tried using on him. However, while that time he was just trying to get on even footing power-wise, this time he starts trying to actively drain some of Orochi's power, its rate significantly increased by tapping into blood magic.

Susana was about to generate a barrier, but in this moment noticed that "Clownface" (yet trapped in the bubble trap) made her a signal with his hands. Susana went with him, and whispering said her:

I think that is better to let her alone. I learned the hard way that you can't be friends with everybody. You are the expert keeping distance, after all.

Susana don't know what to do. She has 2 options:

• Keep on trying with Lucy
• Let her alone

But when she looked around, Lucy wasn't here. Looks like the problem solved itself.

All of a sudden, someone who looked similar to lucy walked into the resturant, but notably looked a little different, mainly she actually looked happy, and her hair was out of her eyes
