"Since I basically sat it out last round..." Martin steps up towards the center of the stage as the fight begins, and the first thing he does is raise his replica Stormbringer. "Ionospheric Charge." He releases a surge of electricity into the air, though it doesn't seem to do anything apparent right now, before looking back at Shermie.

Nodding to Rie, Thor shifts his gaze back to the match as well.

"R... right, more firepower.", Varik mutters. Unlike the others, it seems like he isn't able to focus yet.

"Come on, stop this! Focus! This dragon isn't..."

He fails to remain calm, swinging his (uncharged) blade at Dire Miralis' neck, but his swing is a little hasty and imprecise due to being momentarily startled by hearing Sofia's voice in his head.

The Kamehameha and Final Flash consume Shaq and Sephiroth...

but as soon as they end, Sephiroth appears behind Vegeta.    "Don't get too cocky."   

He unleashes the by-now-signature Heartless Angel slash, aiming to reduce Vegeta to 1 HP.

"Nope, that about settles it. See ya!"

Rat God disappears with a coy giggle, taking the BGM with her.

Dire Miralis flinches from the Wyvern Esper's attack. It rears up to retaliate, but is interrupted by Sofia, then by Varik.

"Analysis complete," notes Reyna. "After hitting every part of its body I could think to check while underwater... its stomach is a weak point! A huge one!"

Someone else comes running onto the scene.

"Say no more!" declares Inosuke Hashibira◊, flailing his twin swords.

"Breath of Beast, Second Fang... Rip and Tear!" He delivers a brutal X slash at Dire Miralis' underbelly, which glows with volcanic heat, as his swords carry the essence of a beast's ravening jaws!

After a moment to recover from the shock of Inosuke's Dynamic Entry, Tanjiro steels himself. "Breath of Water, Seventh Form... Piercing Rain Drop!" He delivers a single precise stab, trailing water behind his edge, at Dire Miralis' chest, aiming to halt its momentum entirely.

   "... Well, that was something."    Blixer pushed himself back to his feet once the Rat God had vanished, dusting off the knuckles that had been supporting his weight as he mumbles to himself.    "Time to go beat up a rat, I guess."

Vegeta clad himself in energy and flies back, barely avoiding Heartless Angel. He'd take it just to surprise Sephiroth, but Zelerie is too weakened, so he can't afford to let it all fall on Goku in the opportunity that he does screw up!

What a cheap move! He says, landing a few meters away. Why'd you want to shorten the fight by that much? If you want to defeat your opponent, do it with your OWN TWO HANDS! YARGH! His aura flares out and he tries to punch Sephiroth up in the air. If it works, he'll teleport above him and will try to pummel him back to the ground.

If not, Vegeta grimaces and tries to land several more heavy blows!

"Focus, FOCUS..."

Varik casts Whiteshock at Dire Miralis' underbelly, going for pure damage this time.

Sephiroth weaves around the attacks, keeping a smirk on his face the entire time.    "And why would I use bare hands when I have a sword?"   

He retaliates with a simple thrust forward.

BECAUSE I'lL BREAK IT! Vegeta moves to grab Masamune, allowing his hand to get slashed pretty bad, and try to pull Sephiroth up close for a lariat move. If this works, he then raise his elbow and tries to strike him down directly in the stomach!

Should his move works, Vegeta does two backwards jumps, raise his hand high and shoot a blast at Sephiroth's location, causing an explosion.

Vs. Dire Miralis

     Sorry for the mental intrusion — my throat isn't doing too hot right now, so I'm using telepathy to communicate a bit more easily,      Sofia said. She focused in on Megan for a moment and added,      I'm not familiar with that pattern, but don't discount your own firepower in this fight, pilot.

Megan mentally paused as she checked over her available weaponry...

The transformation system needed to reboot, the railguns had been fully melted off, a good few sawblades had been slagged... the ki conduits still worked fine though. Hmmm...

"I'm gonna try something maybe a bit idiotic, but also possibly brilliant."

Megan focused again, drawing on her glowing ki-energy, as well as what little mana she had to spare, and tried to carefully shape it into something... different. In place of sawblades sprouted fangs of glowing energy — crimson constructs veined with glowing blue. Megan pulled her machine back for at least one last attack, and opened the machine-beasts jaws wide for a cleaving bite at the Smelting Black Dragon's chest!

Sofia nodded, deciding that this was a good attack — she could look into the specifics of how it worked later. In her vision, Dire Miralis gained a faint purple outline — her way of recognizing that a psychic blade-curse had been applied to it. She was surprised that it was successful, but then again she had struck it i a vulnerable moment.

She launched her rift-blade towards the beast's chest, before darting forward herself. While she lacked the usual heat guard, she had downed a Cool Drink just before this.

And also a hot drink because this is the far north of Skyrim. Her mouth was extremely angry at her but it was worth the environmental protection.

In any case, she lunged forward and attempted to do two swiping attacks, imbued with psychic energy and bolstered by her blade-curse, at the Dire Miralis's chest!

Sephiroth has a brief 'Oh, Crap!' look when Vegeta grabs his sword, and the resulting combo leaves him DOWN!, at least for now.

Shaq jumps in and manifests a Kienzan.

He throws it at Vegeta, then tags in Iris to follow up with her Level 3 equivalent, whatever that is!

Afterwards, regardless of the results, he'll jump out, leaving Iris to continue the fight.

Dire Miralis is sent reeling. It attempts to retreat towards the sea again...

but now we know what Reyna's been doing.

"Oh no you don't! Eat this!"

A huge spear, notched to make it hard to pull out, comes flying from a ballista mounted on the deck of the Brinehammer, trailing a rope behind it. As soon as it hits, the rope splits into many weighted cords, holding down the Elder Dragon as it struggles to break free.

"GET HIM!"

Both demon slayers unleash a flurry of slashes and stabs, while Reyna sits at the Ballista firing huge bolts into the monster's body.

Iris flies back in, acting immediately. Before the Kienzan even potentially gets to Vegeta, she creates and flicks up that tiny fireball again, and once the Kienzan gets to Vegeta's location (regardless of how Vegeta handled it), she'll jump up and kick it down towards his current location, attempting to either hit him dead-on with its explosion, or have it hit an area close to him if he dodges, in which case he can still potentially get caught in said explosion anyway.

"For god's sake, FOCUS!"

"... Calm down."

"Take a deep breath"

"...?"

"It's not as bad as it appears"

"It isn't him"

"Focus..."

Varik stops moving for a moment, taking the time to take a deep breath. His fear lessens greatly, and he's able to focus again. He briefly gains a psychic aura, which he channels into his blade, after which he attempts to unleash a powerful, PSI-boosted multi-slash combo attack upon Dire Miralis' body, going for fast and precise movements unlike any he has shown before.

Vegeta is surprised, but then smirks confidently when he sees the Kienzan coming, dodging it rather efficiently. Ah! I-

Iris's Level 3 catch him out immediately, and he get fucked up by virtue of having been caught by the raw level 3. He's still up and standing, but it's clear that the attack did a real number! He's even forced to switch with

ZELERIE! He says. Zelerie appears on the battlefield, looking eager and a bit healed off since she had time to recover.

Heh... Kakarot!

Kakarot appears but drop out of Super Saiyan and hold up his hands, absorbing some blue ki unto himself. Zelerie watch him go, and looks confused, shrugging when he just leave.

Fucking us-ARRGHHH! Zelerie tries to vanish behind Iris to kick her in the back! Should this succeed, she then tries to juggle her into the air with three energy blasts, before crossing the field at insane speed in a diagonal pattern, striking with an upwards kick. Regardless of success, she then immediately fall back down to the ground towards Iris, with her downward kick packing anti-guard properties.

Notably, if Iris is hit by the punch, Zelerie's kick becoming a slamming dive instead!

When Zelerie's the one tagged in, Iris narrows her eyes. She does still get caught off guard by Zelerie vanishing and attacking her from behind, and as such kicked and juggled thrice. However, mid-fall, she manages to create a barrier that protects her against the damage from Zelerie's upwards and downwards kicks, though it shatters upon impact with the ground, and she needs a second to get back on her feet.

"Not this time."

She throws a single fireball Zelerie's way. Is Iris expecting Zelerie to be exhausted enough to consider that threatening?

Zelerie is a Saiyan, so she's arrogant, but she's also skilled enough to know that Iris probably means more to the attack than that.

So she back off and look around everywhere, waiting for the fireball to like exploodeee or something.

The fireball doesn't seem to have any special, explosive properties. However, Iris spins her spear around after Zelerie dodges, and the fireball suddenly reverses course, aiming to hit her in the back of her head. Since this doesn't make any new sounds, Zelerie may not see it coming.

Haha, that's all! Yeah, I bet that I could make jokes about-FUCK! She's hit in the back of the head and leans forward, stunned.

If Iris isn't quick enough, Zelerie blast ahead with a mouth blast!

Agility is something she isn't lacking in the least though, dodging the mouth beam and retaliating with more of dem sharp feathers, launching a fireball at them to turn them into burning sharp feathers as they head towards Zelerie.

Zelerie get struck in the right arm and the waist and grunts angrily.

VEGETA! Vegeta appears, and does his thing. Ah! Struggling, Zelerie?!

Zelerie says nothing and attempts to ki dash her way over to Iris while in the midst of the attack. If she reaches her though, she tries to grab her and spindrive her to the ground. Both will bounce off the floor, but Zelerie activate her level 1 in mid-air, attempting to nail Iris with a powerful purple beam!

Iris spins her spear around like a shield to block Vegeta's projectiles. However, that won't protect her from getting grabbed, spindrived, and once she bounces up from the impact, blasted further into the stage, kicking up a huge dust cloud where she crashes.

Zelerie decides to power up, using the flaring energy to push the feathers away.

KAKAROT!

Goku appears and... once more, hold his hands up and charge his ki, gathering energy. Zelerie prepares to yell, but her meter fill up faster as a result.

The smoke starts to clear, and Iris slowly becomes visible again, standing back up but having her wings angled down, as if tired. Her hair's also a real mess, the front of it covering the upper part of her face.

Her necklace is glowing though, channeling energy to fill up Iris' meter more as well.

Thor squeezes the shaft of his hammer, the current direction of the match reminding him too much of his and Iris' confrontation with Eleven during the ill-fated raid on the Cabal's lair than he was comfortable with.

"Odin's bloody beard, Iris, just get out of there before that little savage completely pulverizes you! Argh, why the Hel didn't you take my warnings about them seriously?"

He grits his teeth, and his grip on Mjolnir tightens to the point that his knuckles turn white and crackle with electricity.

Yeah! Use that necklace! Use that power you summoned back during that fight with the dragon! If you hold back, once this tournament is over, I'll gun for everyone you care about! Don't even dare to think that I'll accept holding back because it's a match! Make me want to break my limits! Zelerie reaches her level 7 and take a stance, anticipating the next course of action!

Goku, after porting back, coughs, but Vegeta shake his head.

Just let her do her thing.

I mean, it is a tournament! I can't have Zelerie start to threaten to take it outside the ring.

So what? We'll beat her down if it come down to it. Come on, Kakarot. Let the purebreed have her fun.
