He then proceeds to, as he swiftly dodges incoming Meteor attacks (moving quite adeptly despite fighting on sand), fire a wave of Whiteshock at Dire Miralis' shoulders.

She keep the Beam Clash going for a while before she decide to just ascend and interrupt it mid-fight. It very nearly hit her, missing her shoes by an hair, so she immediately fire a Crusher Ball at Laka!

Should it work, she dash in and prepare herself for a very heavy punch at the face. If that succeed, she attempts to combo Laka in the torso and face with a series of quick punches followed by an upward kick!

Laka lets Beet smack her around for a bit, but then...

"Kaioken times FIFTY!" she practically shrieks, before powering up to the expected degree and going nuts on Beet with punches and energy blasts.

F-FIFTY?! She gets smacked around badly, being grossly outnumbered in power! As soon as she get a moment's respite though...

Gurgh! KAIOKEN TIME THIRTY-FIVE! YARGH! Her energy explodes outwards, and her skin gains a reddish hue to it. She take off like a missile, trying to slam her knee into Laka's stomach before trying to hammer her on the back of the head with her two hands, using a strong downward blow!

If this works, she blasts away at her with a rain of energy blasts!

Laka laughs at Beet's surprise.

She manages to keep up blow-for-blow, though her body seems to be... drying up and crumbling, bit by bit. "The spirit of a fighter... is to break your limits, right? So... break them! Times... ONE HUNDRED!"

The degradation accelerates so fast, if Beet doesn't stop Laka she'll commit not feeling so good in short order.

The hard part is... stopping Laka, who creates a Super Vanishing Ball the size of a small planet over her head and prepares to throw it.

I the back alleyways of hub centralis on this cold and snowy night was a seemingly turned off animatronic in the alleway

only making slight twitches here and there, it seemed very polished and clean, almost to an uncanny degree and it was very clearly supposed to be a humanoid chicken, with a "lets eat!" bib on it may be worth it to investigate and get it out of the snow

oh right the weather, it was freezing cold, and quite windy as well

...

Hub Hikari◊, in his casual outfit, is waiting around near the base of one of the large hills, seemingly waiting for someone.

Vivace shows up. "Hey hot st- I mean... uh..."

She looks around nervously, hoping nobody else heard that. "Waiting for the Doc?"

Wait! You're falling apart! You-gah! Beet flies down and her red aura vanishes, along with the red skin. She breath out, breath in... and a gray aura flares up around her, as she gains sterner eyes, sharper facial features, less of a slouch in her posture and a calmer appearance. Then, she simply stare at the Super Vanishing Ball.

"I can't match all that power so casually even in this form, but..." She points her hand, triggering... a mere Dodon Ray? She rather confidently fire it at its core, hoping to have the Dodon Ray spread her ki through the sphere so as to disrupt it from the inside and perhaps get it blow up early. She could try to match it, but that'd probably have Laka crumbling to ashes before she can properly repel it!

Regardless of the result, Beet immediately zoom out forth alongside her beam and try to cross the explosion of the Super Vanishing Ball, attempting to get up to Laika's face to grab her in a Cooldown Hug of all things! At least, she attempts to warp her arms around her, in case she try anything else.

"You can't break your limits if you die doing so." She advises. "It's a fun bout, but not even your regeneration will save you if that keeps up."

Hub looks at her, looking surprised for a moment. He definitely heard that.

Regardless, he crosses his arms.

"Waiting for you, actually. You and that 'cousin' you mentioned.", he says, grinning. "I'll take you to Snively when you're all here."

The Super Vanishing Ball goes kerblooey.

Laka is surprised by the hug maneuver, but when Beet explains, she looks contemplative. "... Right." She powers down and starts to regenerate.

"So do we keep going?"

"Right here," Vivace replies with a smirk and her arms folded.

Omelette Robotnik steps out from behind her shadow.

"But just so you know... Eggman himself is gonna want to chat, too. If he can't come in directly, can I at least patch him through my internal communications?"

Hub looks genuinely shocked for just an instant. Seems like he'd thought the whole 'cousin' thing had been a lie.

He regains his usual, evil grinning expression quickly though.

"When'd I ever say he wasn't allowed to be here? Both him and your creator are free to come with you. There's only a single condition you'd all have to follow."

"Tell me what that condition is first. Then I'll call him."

Hub raises one finger.

"None of you four are allowed to physically harm Snively or the robots he's working on. That's all."

"... Understood."

Vivace turns away for a sec, and then Eggman descends upon them in his Egg Mobile. "Good timing, I just got done putting the finishing touches on a project of my own!"

Hub Centralis

A certain ex-spectral samurai - the Ochimo of Fire - happens upon the alleyway with the animatronic.

"...?"

He gives it a nice tap with his foot. Maybe this could be pawned off after being dissasembled.

Dr. Wily◊, too, appears from above, riding in his Wily UFO. He says nothing, though looks slightly wary of Hub.

"Well, if you're all ready...", Hub smirks before turning around and walking a few steps further. He stops in front of nothing, then crouches and does a motion as if he's turning a valve.

He then pulls open what still seems to be nothing, only now there's a large entrance hole in front of Hub. Seems like they have a way of cloaking the entrances to their base.

"Right this way.", he says before jumping in. Wily walks forward a little, seeing that it's a long way down.

"... I'm taking the ladder down."

Beet smirks and power down as well, of all things, before backing off. yeah

She does give Laka some time to regenerate before attempting to PUNCH her in the cheek!

Vivace sighs and just jumps down after Hub while the doctors (and Omelette) take the ladder.

Laka is about 75% regenerated when she gets pawnched. She immediately responds by doing an underhanded toss of a ki blast at Beet's face.

Beet get blasted in the face and spin back, though it's more of a feint for her trying to deliver a good sideway kick to her face! If that works, she spin again, raise her leg, and goes for a downward kick, following by an upper knee attack!

Once down on the ground, they'll see Hub waiting for them. He wordlessly turns around and continues walking.

"... I don't like the looks of t-"

"Oh, by the way-", Hub suddenly says as he stops walking and turns back around, startling Wily into letting himself be interrupted. "It'd be in your best interest if you didn't look into any of the rooms we'll be walking past. Some of their doors may not be locked. Call it a test of trust."

He chuckles darkly.

"You now know the location of one of our bases, so I hope you get that I'm putting a lot of trust in you. ... do not tarnish that, or who knows what could happen?"

He turns around once more, continuing to walk. So far, none of the doors to the sides of the hallway are open.

"..."

Dr Wily starts to walk after Hub.

Laka is still sorta coming down from her Kaioken high, and she gets kicked around with relative ease.

Won't stop her from mounting a retaliation, though. She projects a ray of dark energy from her finger and sweeps it out towards Beet, leaving a chain of explosions in its wake.

As the group proceeds along, Vivace leans towards Wily. "Not too late to turn around, Gramps."

the animatronics leg twitched for a moment,before it turned on

the first thing it seemed to do was play an obviously pre recorded voice line

"Welcome to freddy fazbears pizza!"

despite this, it seemed to be getting up, looking around. which didnt match up with the voice line at all

all of a sudden, it spoke. it spoke in the same voice as the voice line, but notably with more personality

"And you are?"

She get swept in the explosions, being left unable to retaliate since she ends up upside down and not sure where she is. She's quickly recovering from that though, though she's also coming off her own Kaioken-high, if less severe.

"Again, stop calling me that.", Wily grumbles. "And I'm pretty sure it is. You haven't lived long enough to have much experience with this sort of thing yet, Vivace, so let me say this. What he just said to us isn't all he means."

Wily narrows his eyes a little as he looks at Hub.

"I saw it in his body language just now as well. What he really means is 'if you deviate from the path at all, I'll kill all of you'."

Now they're reaching a part of the hallway that has a single door to the right that's slightly opened.
