Spartan B213

Joshua's head jerked to the newer imperials, only for another group to appear directly opposite from them. The cavalry's arrived, even more war droids pouring from the bushes surrounding the group. The spartan draws a spherical device from his belt, throwing it onto the ground. In an instant, the sphere extends, creating legs, and a large dome surrounding him.

The oncoming fire from the war droids and imperial infantry were stopped by the golden-sheen dome. He yelled to the group,

"Get the hell in here!"

Perona

The redirected plasma bolts slammed back into the Imperials, killing a few. Although the dwindling numbers were soon replaced by the appearance of the war droids. Volley after volley of plasma could tear her apart.

Medic

The Medic found himself on the wrong end of another war droid's blasters, the droid coming out of a nearby bush and locking onto him. Medic should have enough time to duck under the dome shield or try an alternative method.

Rimuru

The double-bladed saber returned to the hand of the Sith, the woman jumped over the Imperial soldiers. The infantry that would've fired directly toward her ceased fire, giving the pair room to fight.

Lord Tanzen, as she was named, flourished her double-bladed saber before jumping forward, spinning in a violent torrent of violet. Once she had gotten close, she had attempted to lay into the slime man with blow after blow aimed to tear him to pieces.

Wrustoiz

The sith lord wanted nothing more than to battle Tanzen, but it was hard to focus on anything more than the increasingly large torrent of blaster fire. Once the dome shield had risen, Wrustoiz backflipped backward, jumping high into the air, deflecting more blaster bolts before landing in the dome.

Above The Fight

The destroyer had reached above the forest, the laser cannons on the side of the ship aimed downward, ready to fire. From the hangar came flying a squadron of fighters,◊ immediately swooping down and headed down toward the forest.

Oh, what are those thingies now? Ooowww! She has to retreat under the golden dome, annoyed.

I say we blow them all up with that weird named thing! She offers.

...

Meanwhile, that man from earlier has joined the fight. And by that, I mean that he's spectating it from a tall hill, his arms folded, totally ignoring whatever else is happening around him.

It's like he doesn't even see them as a threat.

Medic jumps away and runs back, firing his syringe gun at the droid before he reaches the shield. "Ach!"

"Who is ze most powerful person here?!" he barks.

Charlotte reluctantly follows the trail. As she does so, she feels a presence behind her and turns around, but it's gone.

Not this again...

She turns back around and continues toward the light.

   "Very well."    Leesarix opens up a portal...

   You might call him a rival,    Giygas remarks with a scoff.    Shadow the Hedgehog. A superweapon, made from the secrets of an alien race that were acquired by a human. Had a familial connection to a girl named Maria.   

He awkwardly clears his throat, waiting for his counterpart to catch up.

Once the light is close enough, Charlie will be able to see a small, hunched figure sitting on the ground, back faced towards her.

Getting even closer will show her that the figure is a young boy.

And getting even closer will show her that he's slightly shaking. ... and sobbing. And with the boy's brown hair and black, striped shirt, he looks an awful lot like...

Giegue's gaze seems to relax slightly.

   "So he is not an enemy."   , he says, his tone making it clear that he had been prepared to blast him out of the sky had he been one.

All of the Saber strikes hit, and he just stood there for a moment, letting the Sith woman tear him apart.

When he was reduced to nothing but a pile of slime, his skill Ultraspeed Regeneration activated, repairing and restoring his body.

Suddenly he popped back up

"That was.... Aggressive."

The slime looked behind him.... Unfortunately he might have to look at the bigger picture here...

He decides that now is the time to retreat, go help the people who aren't as strong as him.

"I hate to cut this short lady...."

Extra Skill! Control Gravity!

In the blink of an eye, Rimuru wasn't locked into combat with the Sith anymore. He was standing in the golden dome.

Upon hearing what the Medic said, he raised his hand.

"Might be me..."

Vs. Alatreon — The Oilification

Megan dashed over to assist Varik by drawing the Alatreon's attention away from him, at least for a bit. She flipped her sword around and slammed it into the sheath, before then clicking a dial that seemed to have been hiding on the side of it. Once, twice... the second was the one she wanted right now. She then pressed a button atop the dial, causing a crackling, ice-like noise to emanate from the sheath. When she withdrew the sword, the rune etched into it seemed to be filled with a thick, oil-like substance that produced curls of mist and fog as it trailed through the air.

   "I don't know how much you can understand me, Alatreon, but you should feel honored — I haven't needed to use weapon oils in a very long time!"   

She leaped forward and made an overhead swing with her cryogenically-enhanced sword, while she pulled back for a thrust with her spear, which she released a moment after landing, before finally attempting to cap off the combo with a fade slash-esque spinning slash to the left.

Aaaand she fired a single shot from her gun just for good measure, though she was pretty sure that was her last bullet in the chamber for the moment.

Varik's Magnet manifests in a form it might usually not take - a hemispherical barrier, but inverted to 'catch' the energy being released like a bowl, funneling it into him for a jolt of life and power.

And when there is no more Dragon to absorb, it releases some of the excess absorbed in a Dragon-element explosion of its own!

The hits from Varik's Magnet and Megan's combo are enough to stagger Alatreon, though it catches its footing and stands there, snarling at them.

Also oh yeah, the leftover icicles from Alatreon's earlier ice attacks start glowing red as the Dragon energy from that big blast attack flows through them, until they explode into Dragon-powered shrapnel, inflicting both Iceblight and Dragonblight if they hit!

Dragonblight completely negates the elemental damage dealt by the weapons of the afflicted. Megan in particular had best avoid this, considering she just used an elemental oil.

"Uh, yeah it's a quest. That's why there's rewards, dumb-dumb. But if you don't want yours, I'd be happy to take them." Surprisingly, Reyna is saying this completely genuine, without a hint of spite. She also backpedals into a tent and comes out with an Ancient Potion of her own, snapping it into her mouth before joining Sporacles by the hitching post.

She whistles, and a pair of wingdrakes fly down for them to ride to the battlefield, same way they got there in the first place.

"Andy-er, Andrew..." Charlie sheds a gray tear and walks closer. As she comes closer, they both start to gain human color again from their combined presences.

She pauses when she notices the change, and closes her eyes, bracing herself.

Minira

Terlette Asti is cooped up in a place in the capital of Estraole. When she sees a portal start to open, she reflexively raises a hand and

KABOOM

Terlette and Leesarix both emerge from the resulting rubble.

"Damn you..." Terlette glares as she draws her sword, and Leesarix wordlessly draws his own.

   He was, but not anymore.   

Shadow skids to a halt.    "Oh god, there's two of you."

"W-whoa!", Varik says as he feels the energy revitalizing him, as well as blast back in Alatreon's face. Despite his surprise, he wastes no time in getting back up once Alatreon is staggered.

"It's never done that before... but I'm not gonna question it now.", he mutters as he gets ready to attack again.

He starts charging up energy with his sword (1/13), only to then see the icicles glowing red.

"Megan!", he quickly yells to warn her, and right after that is when the attacks explode. Varik is able to block the shrapnel with his Star Shield, but is almost overwhelmed by the force anyway and has to hop back a good distance to prevent himself from getting slammed onto the ground, losing the charge in the process.

"Goddamnit, even when that thing is standing still... huh?"

Feeling something weird on his chest, he glances down, expecting that he somehow got hit anyway and is likely bleeding now. What he sees, however, is something very different. Something that confuses him.

Energy from Magnet, traveling across him, going onto his other arm and eventually going into his blade, giving it a psychic aura and boosting it.

"W... wait, is this for real?", he asks, getting an idea of what happened, but not being sure. To test his theory, he swings his blade at Alatreon, trying to see if he's able to launch a charged attack at the dragon.

Andrew stops sobbing, but he doesn't respond, nor does he turn around. He does seem to be fiddling with something though.

Getting even closer will eventually show Charlie that the object in question is his Fredbear plush. But for some odd reason it looks... really burnt. Like it had been set ablaze in the past.

Killer Bat emerges out of Leesarix's shadow, manifesting his sword and grinning cruelly at Terlette.

Hornet Pierce

He aims his free hand at Terlette, conjuring and sending yellow energy bombs her way.

Anticipating that Terlette will evade them, Leesarix channels the Naaku element of World Magic, his eyes glowing in an off-white color. As such, a bunch of spikes emerge from the ground, some of them trying to bar Terlette's path by sprouting on the sides, but the rest strike the energy bombs when they're in close proximity to Terlette, exploding instantly upon impact and creating a chain reaction.

Star-Crossed Clash (Rage Awakened - Project Destati)

Giegue's eyes get slightly bigger, as if he'd be raising an eyebrow if he had them.

   "You know how to let someone feel welcome."   , he says, still telepathically of course. He then shows a rare sight: a teasing smirk.

   "I did not know my counterpart had a friend."

Charlie cautiously kneels beside Andrew.

"Your plush..."

She suddenly grips her head and stumbles back as her eyes turn into demon-animatronic-pinpricks.    "Stop it! Not now, not now!"   

Faint monochrome ghostly figures briefly flicker around her.

Terlette's eyes glow magenta as she channels Cardinum magic, forcing the projectiles away from her - but just as quickly, she gets blown back by the Hornet Pierce bombs.

"Aeleris... Fine." She shakes her head. "I won't hold back!"

The glow of her eyes turns red.

   Speed. She has a crippling weight in her legs, and is using this to compensate.   

Taking her Draconic Swordplay stance, she zips and zig-zags towards Leesarix before throwing a brutal horizontal slash.

This is now an OPEN BOSS FIGHT, but I have plans for how it will go so if I tell you something is a bitch move you change it, no protest allowed

   "We're not friends,"    replies Shadow.

   Well, why are you here, then?   

   "Because I sensed something amiss. Turns out it was you two."

Estarole

"Of COURSE my nap gets interrupted!" an annoyed voice shouts from above the fight. A man drops down, chains clinking down as he does, and he gazes up at the combatants.

"I'm gonna assume that the two standing over there are the cause of the interruption, so..."

Suddenly, the chains around the man levitate upwards and, with a few hand signs from him, jettison themselves towards Killer Bat to strike him across the jaw.

In the brief moment that Charlie was next to Andrew, she might've noticed that his eyes looked odd. Not in an unnatural way, like hers being demonically pin-pricky a moment later, but rather... lifeless.

"Got burnt... when my brother did...", Andrew mutters, his normally soft voice eerily ghostly, and devoid of emotion. He doesn't react at all when Charlie has some sort of episode, but that doesn't mean he ignores it either. While he doesn't turn his head, he somehow seems to notice the apparitions.

"Who are you talking to, Charlie? Didn't you come alone?"

Leesarix blocks Terlette's attack with his own blade. Killer Bat tries to take advantage of this, but then hears the shouting voice, looking up as the man descends and lands.

Killer Bat narrows his eyes at the interloper, and when the chains launch themselves towards his beautiful face, he answers with Hornet Assassin, holding out his blade in front of him and sending purple shards of light at both the man and his chains, trying to wound the former and knock the latter out of the air.

Should the blasts not be strong enough to disrupt the chains' levitating path though, they'll succeed in striking Killer Bat in the face.

Leesarix, meanwhile, swings his blade to the side to break the blade lock (and potentially knock Terlette off-balance) and channels the Kuri element of World Magic, his eyes glowing a pure black.

The darkness forms into an enormous hand that'll try to pin her to the ground. If it works and she has no way of getting out of it, she'll be as good as defenseless, and thus an easy target for Leesarix.

   "I wasn't aware that us discussing a serious matter would set someone off."   , Giegue says, his smirk gone as quickly as it came. He floats over Shadow, looking him over as he does.

   "... are you an alien?"   , he suddenly asks.

"I -    thought    - I    did!   " Charlie yelps. After a moment, though, it subsides.

"That burning - I know the one you mean." She looks aside awkwardly, holding her arm. "I... think I missed that."

Terlette gets pinned, but her eyes glow white as she channels Hao in an explosive burst to dispel the hand, then fires it as a Repulsor Beam-esque ray at Leesarix!

   "Technically, yes. I was created using a mixture of terrestrial DNA and the powers of an alien hive-mind called the Black Arms, but I rejected their intentions for me and chose a life on Earth."

While a few of the blasts do land their mark, Killer Bat is not that lucky, as the chains seem to be unnaturally strong, barging through the Hornet Assassin and landing their mark.

"A being of shadows, hm? I'm curious as to what jutsu you are utilizing." The man comments as the chains retract themselves. "Tell me your name before I crush you."

"You know? That's surprising. You weren't there. Only him, me, the other robot and the boy who burnt him."

He stops fiddling with the plush.

"They're angry at you, aren't they?"

After he got struck, nearly hitting the ground, Killer Bat says nothing to the man in response to him asking the Shadow's name. Either he's gone back to his mute days, at least towards an enemy, or he's too angry to tell him. ... Or he's just being plain rude, that's possible too.

Leesarix gets struck this time, backing off a bit and gritting his teeth.

His eyes then shine magenta as he channels the Cardinum element of World Magic, trying to forcefully keep Terlette stuck in place as Killer Bat suddenly charges at her, sword held out in front of himself and clearly intending to run her through.

Leesarix, as he's channeling the energy, glances back at the man, letting him know that he's well aware of his presence and that the man can't attack him in the back to save Terlette.

   "Rejecting their intentions in favor of Earth. How familiar that sounds."   , Giegue notes out loud. Giygas will probably immediately get that he's referring to Ninten in this sense.

He stops floating above Shadow, now floating in front of him.

   "So now that you know it's us, what will you do? Leave or stay? My counterpart and I will be discussing matters further regardless."   

"... Yes. You are too, aren't you?" Charlotte guesses.

Terlette gets caught by the Cardinum control, but she uses some of her own. Not to free herself, just to nudge Killer Bat to the side and force him to miss. She's still trapped due to Leesarix's greater power over the element.

Shadow folds his arms.    "I'll stay. I'm curious about these... matters you speak of."   

   Hmph. Very well.    Giygas looks at Giegue.

"Tch... So rude." He replies as he weaves some more handsigns. Aiming the chains again, he sends them towards Leesarix this time, in an attempt to restrain him.

While the chains move, he begins to unravel his hand wraps, seemingly preparing for something else.

"... yeah.", he says, shadows slowly and eerily creeping over him. "Because it's not fair."

He finally starts moving his head to look at Charlie. His eyes seem to fade away as he does however, leaving him to stare at her with a pair of black voids instead, eyes similar to how the living would perceive the ghosts... but also similar to Golden Freddy's eyes. His brows furrow as Andrew starts looking more angry.

"You kept us trapped for a very, very long time.", he says, his voice sounding less like his own and more like the garbled speech of the possessed animatronics.

"So why are YOU the one who gets a second chance at life?"

Killer Bat, not expecting this counter, is yeeted to the side.

Leesarix turns upon being attacked, bashing one chain away with his blade, but then getting caught by the others, causing him to stop channeling the Cardinum element as he gets trapped.

However, he won't stay trapped for long, as Killer Bat, despite being stuck, is still able to channel his own dark powers, pulling himself and Leesarix into the ground through their combined shadow.

Terlette and the man better be ready, as they can pop up anywhere.

Giegue looks back at his counterpart.

   "If something is truly going on in Magicant now, we need to find a way inside as fast as possible. I know you won't like it, but Ninten's gotten inside in the past, so we will need his help finding a new way in."   , he says. Since Giygas has no qualms with Shadow being here as they speak, he assumes that Giygas considers him trustworthy enough to hear about this subject.

"I-I..." Charlie steps back. Fear and apprehension are visible on her face.

And then, the voices chime in.

   He's right   

   You don't deserve this   

"Wh-what?"

   YOU IMPRISONED US   

   FORCED US TO NEVER PASS ON   

   SAID YOU WERE SAVING US   

"Stop it!" Charlotte pleads, choking on her words. "I didn't know! I didn't know... it would be so long...!"

   BUT THEN, AFTER ALL THAT   

   YOU LEFT US TO BURN   

   SO WHY SHOULD YOU BE FREE   

"STOP!" Charlie's hand turns into a mechanical shadowy claw as she swings wildly at the empty space around her. "STOP JUDGING ME!"

She suddenly brings that claw down upon Andrew, before a pure-white arm reaches out to catch her by the wrist, and Erma peeks out.

Terlette channels Velocit again and dashes over to be back-to-back with the man. "Thanks for the help, stranger. What's your name?"

   You're right, I don't like it. But you're also right that it may be our only option.   

   "..."    Shadow rubs his chin, not really getting it but also forming ideas in his head.

He manages to remove the left hand binding before Leesarix and Killer Bat vanish into the shadows, causing him to not bother with the right hand. On his palm, one would see there are two diamonds, one slightly on top of the other.

"I'm getting more and more interested in this shadow technique. It would make an excellent jutsu for my collection!" He exclaims before saying "My name is Jishuki. You?"

He shrugs. "I'd like to take a look at them first, but odds are you'll get them. I just want a trophy of the fight."

Sporacles hops on to his wingdrake.

"Let's go!"

Golden Freddy's spiritual form briefly appears around Andrew when it looks like Charlie's going to strike him.

Andrew does appear surprised when Erma appears, and when this happens, the darkness around then begins to swirl and move, as if getting sucked in by a vacuum. Erma, Charlie and Andrew won't get affected by said vacuum though.

Andrew narrows his eyes, tears of rage flowing from them and down his cheeks.

"You're going to wake up."

That's the last thing he says before everything begins to fade.

Terlette and Jishuki will probably not expect what's coming next.

Channeling the Entry element of World Magic, Leesarix and Killer Bat emerge from a portal that forms above their enemies, Leesarix's eyes glowing Orange.

Hornet Assassin

As Killer Bat launches the barrage of purple shards downwards, Leesarix's eyes change, now glowing an off-white color again as he channels the Naaku element of World Magic. Spikes start rising up from the ground, getting struck by some of Hornet Assassins' energy, coating them in darkness and resulting in a bunch of dark spikes emerging from the ground.

   "It's good that we can agree on that. I will go talk to Ninten the moment he returns to the base. He left a little while back on some wild-goose chase for some big creature."   

He then pauses, and Giygas may be genuinely surprised to suddenly see his counterpart, another version of himself, looking... unsure.

   "... what do you think we'll find once we get into Magicant?"

Lucien and Grymm wave goodbye to the three, and, after they leave, Lucien gives a deep sigh.

"That was quite a wonderful time...I am disappointed that it is over."

   "Yeah, it was a nice diversion from just looking around out there. What were we looking for, again?"   

Lucien raises an eyebrow.

"Come, now, Mister Grymm, you were the one who told me...at any rate, I think I shall retire to my chambers. I...have not been feeling entirely well, lately."

Grymm seems a bit hesitant, but nods.

   "Alright, then...I'll just be out here with Ugo. Don't hesitate to let me know if you need anything."   

Lucien nods back, and takes up the rest of his tea, then leaves for his room. Once he reaches it, he pauses by his bedroom mirror, studying his face, framed by shadow, in it, and seems surprised when he discovers that he looks even paler than usual.

"...ah. Perhaps I am more ill than I realized...? Combined with my earlier weakness, this is concerning...it is strange that I am actually feeling it, since I am normally quite resistant to sickness...unless...no, no matter. It is nothing that a good rest cannot help, and I cannot take my eyes off of my goal. It is far too important."

He then leaves the mirror, and heads for his bed.

...but the reflection of his shadow doesn't. Within the mirror, the shadow seems to briefly coalesce into a dark form with gleaming white eyes◊ before fading away as quickly as it came into view. Meanwhile, Grymm is sitting on a couch in the foyer, with Ugo perched on his shoulder, as he reads a book, until he hears a noise outside, sounding almost like a whisper. He lowers the book, looking suspicious, and goes toward the window, listening, but can only hear the wind. Exchanging a glance with Ugo, he shrugs, and sits back down to continue reading.

   "Must have been my imagination. I am a bit batty, after all."   

And scene.

Erma pulls Charlie out...

and Charlie wakes up in a flash, bolting upright with a gasp, as Erma appears beside her.

That was a big risk, Charlie.

She looks at her hands. The claw is still there, and when she wills it to disperse, her hand keeps shaking. "I... I don't know what I just..."

"Terl-"

Cue the drop-in from above. "SHIT" Terlette uses Cardinum to try and force Jishuki out of the way while she gets skewered. Somehow, this doesn't kill her.

"It's... not a technique... that thing's possessing him!"

   Maria warned me of a force corrupting Magicant. She would not let me help her, for fear of it getting to me.   

   "You don't think..."    Shadow starts.

   It may have consumed her, and that is why we now feel strange.   

   "Sounds like you're gonna need this 'Ninten' kid's help badly. Want me to find him? I'm pretty fast."

And expect it Jishuki did not! Neither did he expect to be shoved away from the attack, leading to Terlette getting impaled.

"Dammit, Terlshit, I could have taken that!" he exclaims as he begins to weave more handsigns after he recovers. This time, however, he slams his hands into the ground, sending some of the dark spike-laced earth up towards Leesarix and Killer Bat.

With them having awoken back in the real world, Charlie will have some well-needed time to try to calm down a little.

However, once she has, they may both notice the life sized (and thus giant compared to the two girls) Golden Freddy at the foot of Charlie's bed, slumped into his trademark sitting position, staring right at Charlie and Erma in creepy, foreboding silence for a bit. All the while, it looks like it's about to jumpscare them. About to attack them.

Eventually, a whisper rings through the room. It sounds like Andrew's voice, but overlayed with the garbled sounds Golden Freddy is known for.

   "Until we get our due, I will never stop haunting you."   

Before either can say anything in response, Golden Freddy fades away into the darkness, leaving the two girls alone once again.

Leesarix lands and he now channels the Fata element of World Magic, his eyes glowing a dark gray, clearly intending to finish Terlette off.

However, before he can try to, he gets struck by the earth sent at him by Jishuki, interrupting him. Killer Bat, however, dodges, and tries to neutralize Jishuki permanently.

Ray Stinger

Killer Bat fires an extremely fast and destructive yellow laser beam from his eyes at Jishuki. However, the beams won't actually damage him immediately if they hit him. Instead, they'll go through him as if they were holograms, and the moment the attack ends, the lasers full-on explode. And if they explode while still piercing him...

Well, the aftermath of that can't be good.

Giegue looks genuinely distressed for a moment when he hears that Queen Mary may have fallen to the corruption.

   "Then we can't waste any time. The giant who decides who gets to enter the base promised me that he would come find me when Ninten returned. If he takes too long, we may need your help finding-"   

As if by the universe's will and sense of humor, Botar◊ appears behind Giegue.

"Ninten and his friends have just returned."

Giegue turns to look at him.

   "It's about time they did."
