Before the gang could do jack squat, they froze at hearing Draedon's memory talk as if the real deal was standing before them right now.
...Yeah, it didn't take a rocket scientist to figure out things just got a lot more serious.
Instead of letting fear cloud his mind though, Miles tightened his grip on the Hero's Sword, "...This ain't gonna be like our first rodeo, Draedon. Memory or not, we're ready for you this time." To prove his point, he pulled a hand over his face to reveal Void Termina's mask as the rest of him transformed.
"Got that right, partner," Nebula and Corona stepped up, summoning flames and frost respectively, "What's the plan?"
"I'll keep him distracted while one of you shoots fire from one end and ice from the other." As the two took off to the sides of the arena, Miles cut open a rift in space and through it appeared a version of Marx Soul whom would flap his wings and fire forth a massive barrage of light arrows before retreating through the rift.
Regardless of whether this did anything, the Sisters would then let loose a huge stream of fire on one end while a beam of pure frost came on the other end, meeting in the middle in the hopes of using the laws of physics to weaken his armor and make it brittle.

Monster Eater Champion
Kreimhild Gretchen is hit in the soul gem by multiple incoming attacks, showing signs of significant damage. Even some of Rafisol's attacks land on what essentially could be considered the heart of this monstrosity. EVA 00 Moves in, with Rei saying "Shinji, Hold your fire. I'm engaging this thing in close quarters combat" Over a broadcast, before EVA 00 goes in to stab at the grief seed with their progressive knife... before promptly getting impaled from all sides by tendrils, completely piercing the AT field, and landing a hit dead on EVA 00's plug, with a burst of radio static, before all communication from rei is lost.
The root monsters around are cut down without much hastle, but they keep rising up, Drawing things which seem to be bows, firing at combatants with arrows of energy
The water continues to rise, completely flooding the lower streets, with roots throughout the water like sea serpents.
Kreimhild finishes charging whatever they had prepared, before a massive bow of roots forms in the hands of it's uppermost body, which still resembles madoka. It pulls back the string of the bow, with a massive, dark arrow forming, as runes fill the sky, before releasing it... as a storm of magic arrows falls around the area, coming down like orbital strikes, toppling buildings when the larger arrows of the storm impact them, while the smaller ones still deal notable damage.
EVA 01 gets struck dead on in the arm by one of the larger blasts, with shinji screaming out in agony... as the arm is severed. EVA 01 falls to the ground, as shinji begins to panic.
King of the Monsters
"Trickster!" Dante turns into a blur, flash stepping and zip-zop-zooming all over the place.
However, when he starts getting pelted by arrows despite his best efforts to evade, he changes things up... and dons a cowboy hat with a red scarf. "GUNSLINGER!"
He invokes the all-powerful Red Hot Night attack, delivering a gigantic meteor made of red orbs upon Kriemhild Gretchen!
"He's gearing up for war."
Divine Burden
Thor spins his hammer to deflect the projectiles, though as more and more start to fall on him, he get pissed and accept the pelting, lunging forth to try to directly strike Gretchen with a mighty upward swing of Mjolnir, creating a shockwave that's potent enough to perhaps kills a few of the archers down there.
Fallout 2? More like Fallout 2 bad.
[PASIO]
Ophelia is finally brought down under the barrage of arrows from familiars and Kriemhild. Its limbs slough off as it falls to pieces, Kyoko swearing loudly about this happening every time she enters a fight before ejecting. It lasts long enough to cover Ceph from the barrage, though.
Cephs energy shields are able to keep the arrows of the familiars away for now, so he just fucken ignores them.
"Wbwbhabhbabuma!"
He hoists is Anti-Meguca sniper, and fires two more armor-piercing shots. One at the Grief Seed, and one aimed at Kriemhild's far-away head.
Kyoko rushes forwards through the streets, doing the disjointed-spear thing to try and shred every familiar that she comes near to itty bitty pieces.

Rafisol got pincushioned by the energy, crashed into another building, and then rose steadily, significantly worse for wear, from the ground as her Domination buff faded — only for her to apply it again, of course. Why drop one of one's best buffs? Magical power gathered in her hands as she prepared her strongest of spells...

"Don't. Don't think that, Pietro. I might not know Rin as well as you, but I doubt that she's dead," Wanda interjects.

Once they get close to the base, they'll see plenty of G.E.M. soldiers at work, mining for materials near and around the base.
Norm and Linda stand at the base's entrance, talking about something. Norm seems worried about something and Linda appears to be more bothered than anything, smoking a cigarette.

The shots on gretchen land true, With the collective Shots on kreimhild's grief seed collectively damaging it enough for major cracks to form, With the beings in the surrounding area falling to the assault of those fighting, the Familliars numbers dwindling. Kreimhild is struck by Mjolnir, with a booming shockwave resounding throughout the area, with multiple archers falling.... The waters begin to rise more, as the upper highways begin to flood, with shot after shot hitting kreimhild...
Kreimhild looks around. Why is her salvation being rejected? Do these lot wish to continue their suffering? Why?
Kreimhild moves to strike the group with a series of tendrils, only to be interrupted by EVA 01 Suddenly getting up, and moving in the way in a beastial charge, Its AT field Completely blocking the incoming attack, as shinji yells in anger over comms. EVA-01's Jaw suddenly opens into a savage maw, as it joins in with a form of howl of its own....
EVA 01 HAS GONE BERSERK.

"Mad Hatter!" Dante creates a sawblade out of red orbs around Dr. Faust's brim and throws it, letting it sweep in a circle around him and slice up his foes. Additionally, enemies struck by the Mad Hatter but not killed will have their own Dr. Faust hats materialize on their heads, causing other attacks to turn them into money pinatas.

Upon reaching the base, the three Avengers proceed to approach Norm and Linda.
"Hello, Norman, Lady Linda," Thor says, greeting the pair with a wave. "I hope we're not disrupting anything, but my friends and I were hoping to pay Claus, Lucas and the others a visit."
"Did... we come at a bad time or something?" Pietro asks, noticing how worried Norm seemed to be. "Please don't tell me that life decided it wasn't done crapping all over Lucas yet..."
"We can always come back later if you're not taking visitors right now," Wanda says. "That said, if something is wrong with Lucas, tell me where he is and I'll do whatever I can to help him."
Divine Burden
AH! THE YOUNGLING IS QUITE ANGERED! OOF! Thor's shoved back by the tendrils and is shoved into a building. He prepares to fight against, once he's done getting up, but the sight of the beings with hats is one that amuse him. He decides to come in and beat them up, landing amongst their midst with a brutal shockwave stomp before trying to bash them to death with hammer.

Somewhat remembering Gretchen and her being, you know, the most dangerous of the bunch, Thor raise his hammer and try to summon lightning from the sky, through her, into mighty Mjolnir!

[PASIO]
The area where Kyoko and Ceph are is being flooded, impeding her movement. She swears like a sailor once again, having to devote the rest of the round to getting to higher ground. A stray arrow hits her, but she pulls it out like a champ.
Ceph is completely unperturbed by the rising waters, trudging forwards through the flood to get a batter angle. It grumbles unhappily that this 'meguca heart' is taking so many shots to break.
A high-pitched whine can be heard before it fires another snipey shot at the Seed, this one charged a bit. The current from Thor's electrical attack reaches him at this point, not harming him significantly due to precautionary measures built into his armor, but shutting it and his movement down for a bit.

"The kid stupidly got himself hurt last night and is currently getting a stern talking to from Claus. All in all I wouldn't say life's crapping on him this time.", Linda says without holding back.
"Linda! Ugh, have a little more tact."
"We both know I'm not a tactful gal.", she says, smirking at him for a moment. After that she turns back to the three Avengers.
"I'll let Lucas explain what happened himself. C'mon in, I'll take you to the med bay."
She goes inside. Norm sighs.
"Don't worry, he's luckily not in bad shape, thanks to Linda. He just needs some rest. You'll, uh, see what I'm talking about once Lucas tells you what happened."

Breathing a collective sigh of relief, the trio follow Linda into the base and towards the med bay.
"So, aside from what happened with Lucas, have you been faring well since we last met?" Thor asks her. "Oh, and apologies for not visiting in so long. Loki and I have been rather... busy, to say the very least."
"Dammit, Lucas, I thought you were supposed to the careful twin," Pietro remarks, shaking his head.
"At least he hasn't been targeted by Mara again," Wanda assures her brother. "The last thing any of us needs is a repeat of that tragedy..."

The NPC guy slowly turns towards Mario, and...
He has no face! Literally, there's a hole where his face is supposed to be.
He's not bleeding though. Nor does the person seem to be in a dying state, seeing as he has no mouth or nose to breathe through. The hole is just... there... as if put there through supernatural means.
Because of the lack of a mouth, the guy can't speak.
"For us personally? Mostly been the same as it usually is, yeah.", Linda says. "The mining is going well and otherwise it's been pretty boring. But I guess that's good in a place like this."
Once they get closer, they may hear Claus
◊ voice angrily berating his brother.
"-were you thinking, going out there on your own?"
"Whoa, didn't know he was still going strong. Claus started his scolding half an hour ago.", Linda says, slightly impressed.
They then get to the door to the med bay. She opens it and inside is Claus, standing besides the brancard bed Lucas

◊ walking around to treat some of his wounds.
They might be a bit surprised to see the state Lucas is in. He has some blood on his shirt, some black spots on his face and underarms, and one of his eyes is behind a medical eyepatch
. He's glancing down at the ground, clearly ashamed as Claus, who hasn't even noticed that the door has been opened, is still giving him a heavy tirade.
"Seriously, at least bring someone along instead of thinking doing this alone was a good idea! I mean... look what happened to me back then when I went to do something like this on my own!"
"Sorry...", he meekly says.

Reyna keeps looking for a good while until she finally gets fed up with it.
"Alright!" she yells loud enough for Megan and Varik to both hear, and they should be easily able to recognize her voice. "I'm looking for some HUNTERS!"
"He's gearing up for war."
"I suppose that is preferable to being dragged into one of this realm's many conflicts," the god of thunder says, figuring that he could talk more with Linda after checking up on the twins.
Once they reach the med bay, the three immediately hurry over to Claus and Lucas, looking concerned upon noticing the latter boy's condition.
"What the bloody Hel happened to you, Lucas?!" Thor asks. "Do not tell me that you went to fight someone from the Cabal by yourself!"
"Anyone wanna fill me in on how he wound up like this?" Pietro chimes in. "Call it a gut feeling, but I doubt he tripped down the stairs or anything!"
Wanda, meanwhile, gets to work on healing Lucas' injuries.
"So, who hurt you? I swear to God, if Mara had anything to do with this..."

All of Miles' gang's attacks came at Draedon - and rather than the usual fare of the droid just tanking it all, the attacks slipped past him, as if they'd been misaimed to begin with. "Of course, keep in mind that I am in control of this simulation. I would be careful, if I were you." As if to illustrate his point, the two streams that the sisters shot off suddenly curved through the air, spiraling through the air before going straight for Miles.
Vague Onyxia
All the while, the real Draedon was just vibing, quite unlike his usual fare.
Vs. Kriemhild Gretchen
Iraaxos and Zophiel exchanged a simple, silent look — not a word exchanged but a world of information clear in that motion. Iraaxos drew a vertical oval in the air, and Zophiel fired off a few psychic darts from her third eye at some of the root creatures as the draconid formed a portal to a nearby rooftop.
Once he was done, both Dragon and Animunculus stepped through, before the portal fizzled away.
"This is getting out of hand. Will we intervene?"
"'Tis looking more and more likely."
Rafisol air-dashed off the rooftop and decided to double-cast [Hide] in a sort of odd way — she separated the two castings such that she had one per hand, and she fired it in bursts as she darted about, trying to find a weaker point on the Witch where her shots would be more effective. She didn't concern herself with the root creatures for now — one problem at a time and directly as possible seemed to proper to handle this, at least to her.
